The City of Detroit says cleanup efforts will get underway today after residents complained about a large amount trash outside a vacant apartment building on the west side. WWJ's Charlie Langton reports.

00:00Well we're here again on Greenfield. This is just south of McNichols and this is
00:09that blighted apartment building. You saw the sign from the city, you know the
00:15daytime you can see the trash, squatters living in there. Look at the filth, look
00:22at the trash in just this part of the building and then even in the back of
00:30it, I mean it is just, I mean look at this. It's all over here. The city's gonna clean it
00:38up.
00:39There's actually gonna be a big movement today to come in and clean this up, which is good.
