Deadly triple shooting at home on Detroit's east side

Two people have been arrested and one person is dead after a triple shooting the night of Aug. 5, 2024, at a home on Hazelridge St., in the area of Gratiot Ave. and McNichols, in Detroit. WWJ's Charlie Langton is on the scene.

00:00I'm here on the east side of Detroit on Hazel Ridge, McNichols and Gratiot.

00:15Detroit police are still on the scene investigating a triple shooting, one person dead.

00:22There was a barricaded situation for a couple of hours, but two people have been taken into custody.

00:29See the police kind of wrapping up right now.

00:32Looks like it happened at that house.

00:34Still waiting for a little more information as to what caused the incident.

00:39But a triple shooting, barricaded gunman, two in custody, one person is dead on Detroit's east side.
