00:00What's up, homie?
00:01Hey, look. Chop got to stay around your crib for a while, homie. That's cool?
00:04Yeah, man. It's cool. Shit's the best place for him anyway.
00:07Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at the 20 best cars you can set the streets
00:14ablaze with in Grand Theft Auto.
00:23Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long.
00:26So be sure to subscribe to Mojo Plays, and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:32The Patriot
00:40This line of totally not hummers is among the best cars you can get if you're somebody who values durability
00:47over speed.
00:48In fact, this is the perfect vehicle for missions that involve getaways and shootouts, as almost any non-explosive weapon
00:55is practically useless against it.
00:57The Patriot is made with military-grade metal and plastic, making it insanely useful when barreling through traffic and regular
01:04cop cars.
01:05Many guides and forums will recommend you acquire one before tackling tougher missions, especially if you're playing the older 3D
01:12GTAs.
01:13The Jester
01:14For the record, we are talking about the sports car Jester, and not the racing car Jester.
01:19Now, in all honesty, this isn't exactly among the best cars in San Andreas and GTA V.
01:25If you want something faster, there are other sports cars to get.
01:28However, if you find yourself in a situation where you're racing a bunch of Euro cars, this is a pretty
01:33compelling choice.
01:34It still manages to hit solid speeds and boasts excellent turning regardless of the weather conditions.
01:40On top of that, for a sports car, it takes damage like a champ.
01:44Really, you won't have to worry about your steering being affected from crashes as much as the other sports cars.
01:49So if you can't get the higher-end stuff, the Jester isn't as awful as some may tell you.
01:54The Feltzer
02:05For this car, we're going to ignore the abysmal rendition that we were subjected to in San Andreas.
02:10The Feltzer featured in GTA IV, on the other hand, is a super excellent vehicle.
02:15Bit of an asterisk tacked onto it.
02:18At first, you might struggle because of how much torque there is behind it.
02:21Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve in handling this thing, but once you get a hold of
02:25it,
02:25you'll find the Feltzer is excellent for using in races that demand a lot of drifting.
02:30Just make sure you're not driving it around when you're looking to commit some crime.
02:34The Feltzer does not withstand gunfire too well, and that's putting it lightly.
02:39The Buffalo
02:39Seriously, sir, I appreciate your help.
02:42Must have been something like, hold down.
02:43I hear that.
02:44I got some knowledge to impart, man. Don't forget that.
02:48Whether you want to go for the 3D version or the HD version,
02:51the Buffalo is one of the best muscle cars to get in San Andreas, GTA V, and GTA IV.
02:57Normally, you'd want to use a muscle car for something like street races.
03:01After all, these are cars that are supposed to have a firm grip on the road.
03:04However, this grip has proven to be just as effective in off-road races,
03:08making it quite the efficient vehicle for getting almost anywhere you want to go.
03:13Well, so long as you're not trying to take this thing up the mountain.
03:23The Coquette
03:27If you want a sports car that offers different options without sacrificing performance,
03:32you cannot go wrong with the Coquette.
03:34Available in GTA IV and V, the Coquette can utilize five or six gears,
03:38depending on which game you're playing,
03:40and it even boasts configurations for rear-wheel drive.
03:43And no matter what color or style you choose,
03:46this baby looks slick as hell in just about every shade and pattern imaginable.
03:52Just keep in mind that even with the highest armor upgrade installed,
03:55this isn't a car you should be taking out for demolition derbies while causing traffic jams.
04:05The Vigilante
04:07What are you talking about?
04:09No, this isn't the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie.
04:13This is the Vigilante.
04:15This is a totally different car, you guys.
04:18This is one of the handfuls of supercars that you can acquire in GTA V,
04:22and it is among the most useful and versatile.
04:25In addition to reaching high speeds, the Vigilante is a tough vehicle to destroy
04:29with its impeccable armor and offensive capabilities.
04:33Really, once you start blasting cars with its dual-mounted machine guns
04:36and the missile launchers,
04:38you'll truly feel like you could become a Dark Knight for Los Santos.
04:42Why do you keep calling it a Batmobile?
04:44Stop that.
04:44The Saber Turbo
04:46When it comes to street races,
04:47it can be a tad tricky finding a vehicle suitable for the competition.
04:51If you're wanting something that won't flip over from the slightest bounce,
04:54but also maintains good speed while drifting,
04:57the Saber Turbo is your answer.
04:59This puppy is capable of handling tight turns
05:01and manages to recover speeds quickly after slowing down.
05:05Not only that,
05:06the soft suspension ensures that you won't flip
05:08or spin out from hitting a weird corner or a small bump in the road.
05:12That said,
05:13it may be in your best interest in acquiring a Saber Turbo
05:16before tackling the more lengthy street races.
05:19The Comet
05:20The Comet may be a basic Porsche knockoff,
05:23but this car has been a part of the GTA franchise for a rather long time now.
05:27Despite its age,
05:28it still remains one of the better cars to get compared to your average sedan.
05:32While you do get a hefty amount of speed and power from the engine,
05:35the main focus with the Comet is giving complete control to the driver.
05:39The grip and steering is so tight,
05:41so refined,
05:42that you may need to take some time to adjust to it.
05:45It really is super responsive,
05:46so much that it might be hard to go back to any other car.
05:49Of course, that depends on which game you're playing
05:52and what other cars are offered in that game.
05:55The Phoenix
05:55Your enjoyment in driving the Phoenix may depend on how much you enjoy driving the Feltzer,
06:00assuming you already have.
06:02The reason we're saying this is because the Phoenix carries a lot of torque,
06:06probably more than the Feltzer.
06:07That isn't to say the nearly unmitigated power doesn't have its uses.
06:11If you're wanting a good car that has good drifting,
06:13this is definitely a car to save up for.
06:15But if you're wanting something to just blaze down the straightaway roads with,
06:19this is absolutely a car you need.
06:21In other words,
06:22the Phoenix is specifically designed for the speed freaks.
06:26The Adder.
06:36If fuel was something you'd actually have to think about while playing GTA,
06:40this would be a car we would be against.
06:42Really, burns fuel faster than a blazing oil refinery isn't too great of a selling point.
06:48But for those of us who are prone to crashing and need some kind of car that can take hefty
06:53hits,
06:53the Adder is the perfect mobile fortress.
06:56You can quickly reach 120 miles per hour
06:59and not have to worry about totally demolishing your ride on the first or second crash,
07:04or even the third one.
07:05If the Phoenix is for capable speed freaks,
07:08the more unhinged drivers will take pleasure with the Adder.
07:20The Zentorno.
07:21Honestly, I can't believe it took us this long to finally touch on hypercars,
07:26but while it is the first one appearing,
07:28it is nowhere close to being the worst of the bunch.
07:31As expected from a car carrying the hypercar moniker,
07:34the Zentorno can reach high speeds in an obscenely short amount of time.
07:38And the best part is that you get both high speeds and impressively responsive handling
07:43with very little oversteer.
07:45Although, there is a bit of a caveat to the handling.
07:48Even though you can get quite a bit of control over the steering,
07:50the Zentorno is not a car you should get careless with.
07:54The grip is pretty god-awful,
07:56so you can easily spin out or crash from just the tiniest bump in the road
08:01or a small clip of another car.
08:03We'll say this, though.
08:04The Zentorno is a pretty good way to practice recovery maneuvers for crashes,
08:09bumps, and messy bounces.
08:10The Entity XF.
08:12In a race against the Zentorno,
08:14the Entity XF might be fighting a losing battle,
08:17as it is much slower than its hypercar brethren.
08:20Even so, that doesn't make it a low-tier vehicle.
08:23What the Entity XF lacks slightly in speed, it makes up for in other areas.
08:27For instance, it offers up superior acceleration,
08:31letting you reach its top speeds way quicker than some of the other hypercars.
08:35Furthermore, it boasts supreme steering and weight balance,
08:39making it handle like a dream.
08:41But the best aspect of this car that allows it to trump the Zentorno?
08:44A firm grip on the road.
08:47The Elegy RH8.
08:50Diving back into sports cars for just a quick second,
08:53the Elegy RH8 is among the finest sports cars we have seen in GTA V.
08:58There's just something vintage about its overall design,
09:00between the hood and the spoiler.
09:02But what about the performance?
09:03Well, if you care a great deal about the control,
09:06the Elegy RH8 is the best sports car you can buy,
09:09as it can steer smoothly even through rough weather conditions.
09:13Just keep in mind that this is not a car design for you to reach Mach 5 down the freeway.
09:17The brakes are far from acceptable when going above the speed limit.
09:21The Banshee.
09:22Be it the standard Banshee, the 900R, or the GTS,
09:26the Banshee is overall one of the greatest lines of cars you could possibly acquire.
09:31No matter which type of Banshee you go with,
09:33you are always guaranteed that it will reach reasonably high speeds, if not higher.
09:38The real question in deciding which one you want is,
09:41what do you value more in a car?
09:43Speedster should absolutely go with the GTS,
09:46as it is the fastest car in GTA Online,
09:49maxing out at 172.5 miles per hour.
09:52Chaos agents that like to wreak havoc and crash around the city's streets will love the 900R,
09:57but if you're just wanting a stylish car that can compete in most races,
10:01any regular Banshee will do just fine.
10:03The Infernus.
10:04The Infernus has been around for a while now,
10:07its history of appearances going all the way back to GTA 3 in 2001.
10:11Despite its age,
10:13it's managed to maintain roughly the same experience in every single game since.
10:17The same old story goes,
10:19car with an awesome amount of speed and acceleration with some pretty bad handling.
10:23In other words,
10:24this is a car that can be highly prone to fishtailing when hitting top speed.
10:28However,
10:29the best of GTA drivers can turn this into one of the most impressive and thrilling cars to drive in
10:34the series.
10:35The Ruiner.
10:36Initially,
10:37the Ruiner doesn't look like anything super remarkable.
10:40It looks ancient,
10:41it looks a bit clunky,
10:42and it looks like it wouldn't hold up well in any given race.
10:46Admittedly,
10:47the steering is going to throw some players off,
10:49but that is exactly what makes the Ruiner so great.
10:52The loose steering makes it perfectly capable of competing in drift-heavy races.
10:58Even better,
10:59the tires ensure that you don't drift too loosely,
11:02allowing you to stay on the road while making beautiful smoke screens.
11:05You really should not count this car out.
11:08The Emperor.
11:09Whereas the Ruiner is a car you should absolutely take to races,
11:14the Emperor is quite the opposite.
11:16Speed and acceleration are nowhere close to being as strong as its other qualities.
11:20What the Emperor truly excels in is stability and durability.
11:24Well,
11:25that is if you're playing GTA 5,
11:27as the previous games have significantly worse versions of this luxury sedan.
11:31That said,
11:32even if it's the worst car on our list,
11:34it is still a worthy vehicle to own if you're looking to cruise around in comfort,
11:39or if you need a car that can take a beating until you reach your destination.
11:42You'll be as safe as the queen in this thing.
11:44The Cheetah.
11:45If there is one word to describe the Cheetah,
11:48it is, without a doubt,
11:51sexy.
11:52Truly,
11:52this car looks so fine,
11:55that it puts almost every other car in GTA history to shame.
11:59But the Cheetah's sleek curves is not the reason why we're putting it on this list.
12:03Among the supercars,
12:04this is the one you can use to blaze down the Los Santos streets,
12:08and do so comfortably and efficiently.
12:11In addition to the exceptional top speed and acceleration,
12:14the Cheetah has some remarkably strong brakes,
12:16so that you can just stop just in time to make your turn or avoid collisions.
12:21And it gets even better once you've installed all of the best upgrades.
12:25The Stallion.
12:26Anyone would look like a real Duke of Hazards in this car,
12:29and this muscle car in particular has all the best traits you could possibly ask for.
12:34Well, maybe not so much in acceleration,
12:36but the speed handling and durability of the car in GTA V is absolutely incredible.
12:41Plus, unlike the previous iterations in the older GTA games,
12:45the GTA V version of the Stallion is not prone to spin out,
12:48unless you are actively trying to do so.
12:51But if you're wanting something a little less vintage looking,
12:53and still prefer a sports car, then our final entry should suffice.
12:59The Turismo.
13:00It may not come with any weapons,
13:02it may not be borderline indestructible to most damage,
13:05it may not even be the fastest car in the franchise,
13:08but even so,
13:10the Turismo is truly one of the best vehicles you can get
13:13in San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V.
13:17With this, you can get the high speeds of a usual sports car,
13:21you get the terrific handling of a muscle car,
13:23and you get the reliable braking of a typical economy car.
13:27It is everything you could want in a car from various corners of the automobile market,
13:32and honestly, it may be the only car you will ever need for your campaigns.
13:37But which car do you prefer to drive around in in GTA?
13:40Did it make our list?
