07:52before when he talked about just going out there and doing me and what that really means for someone
07:57like seth is just hit his box he's a very calculated rider and he knows his capabilities he also knows
08:03how good cole davies is in the work so whilst he's been working in that area there he said look

10:22whatsoever he carried so much speed into the whoops that he was able to maintain and it looked as though
10:27because that didn't have this much entry speed that he was trying to get drive through the woods but
10:33maybe the tire was spinning too much and he lost his forward momentum and that's all it took to give
10:39you a replay and show you exactly what happened just look at the speed that he comes in seth is

10:55shows some patience now this is a great opportunity for seth to really

11:49he's had a great day all day long and he crashed hard yeah earlier today in practice
12:02check out the whoop times cole davies 6.4 two tenths faster than cody shock
12:10the biggest thing is his competitor for the championship hamburger see the difference there
12:16that's an eternity add that up in 15 laps and see what you get
12:22and the points leaving detroit if the positions stay as they are for another three and a half minutes
12:28plus a lap davies extends his lead from six to nine points heading to st louis next weekend and heading
12:35to the next east-west showdown oh this would be some good momentum
12:42check this out we were talking about phoenix honda's evan ferry what happened to the youngster in the
12:48walks it seemed like it was going pretty good and oh it looks like his front end another good save
12:54that's two on the night remember um yeah he did the same thing there but looked like his front end
13:02started to push and washed out but then grabbed and ejected some some great strength to hold on to that

13:27whoops every single lap lee and it's such a high risk high reward move he's making you know we did
13:33that yamaha track map segment and i talked about how pumped out they were he's on the very top edge

13:40the whoops and he's he's above that cut down section you see he's above that cut down he's
13:45skipping right across the top the trouble is if you miss one the way nate thrasher did you were
13:50immediately going over the mark it is such an advanced maneuver but that's again that's how you win
13:56races the way cole davies well and the thing that's impressive another thing that's impressive
14:01about the whoops with with cole davies is he has oh no cody's shock crashes into the tower at the
14:08end of the whoops while fighting joe shimota for a podium spot yeah when the whoops get cut out like
14:16that cole davies has so much discipline of not missing the whoops a whoop like jt was saying and
14:24that's what's so impressive especially with how fast he's going through there hate to see that for cody
14:30shock man he had a good run going but hey he's still in great position here that was he was
14:37fighting for
14:38just his second career podium but he's still riding that could have been a whole lot worse
14:45another thing about when you're able to have good entry speed to the whoops you're able to maintain
14:53that through the through there instead of trying to build speed therefore you can kind of manipulate
15:00the throttle make sure that your tire doesn't spin you're always getting forward drive whereas if you
15:05don't come in fast now you're trying to build speed then you start getting further back on the bike
15:11and you run out of leverage there you go these things are absolutely brutal how about
15:19this man here aboard the mx6 kawasaki henry miller is headed cross your fingers for it because he's
15:27headed for a career best fifth place yeah he's been sneaky looking good that is awesome yeah he's got
15:38daxton bennick about five seconds behind time is running out but bennick that is to get back up into the
15:46top
15:46five what do you think about this ride for miller and think about the guys that he's racing i mean
15:54the davies the hammockers and shimotas and even shock we talk about them so much
16:00i mean henry's putting on a great ride here solid looks really really comfortable on his motorcycle
16:08and a big congrats to nick romano and his second race aboard that monster energy pro circuit kawasaki
16:17he runs seven for kyle peters and derek kelly who came via the lcq they're in the top 10 as
16:24well
16:25here's nick romano really good stuff yeah huge bounce back for romano as well after last week
16:35a little less chaotic here just being a regular divisional race rather than the east-west showdown
16:40for sure he finished 18th last weekend in birmingham and his seventh is really good but how about the
16:47teenager from white toki new zealand and it has a tiny population this was an excellent ride to be
16:54able to come from you know six seventh place he was ninth on the first lap past his main competitors
17:02there's been no fluster or panic he's just been in control and this is going to be win number three
17:10in a row how about this cole davies nodding his head saying look at me davies wins detroit
17:20and extends his championship lead in the 250 east division and yamaha continues its incredible domination

17:37and finally we see cole davies release some emotion he's been a little bound up this year he's been
17:46frustrated at times almost angry but he looks absolutely delighted with that victory yeah i mean
17:52again we talked about as a quality win he was able to come from behind not only come from behind
17:58and
17:58just get to win but to put 12 seconds on set hammockers closest defender for this championship and that's
18:07got to give you some serious confidence going into the showdown look at all those wins on the pylon right
