00:37um ended up bruising my sacrum area and it was kind of hard to walk for uh for a week

00:42but after that it kind of it came along pretty well and i've been riding for two weeks now so

00:47good and um yeah we'll see we'll see tomorrow it's been three races off but it feels like an eternity

00:59a lot of people pleased to see the 2023 champ back he missed daytona indy and birmingham
01:06after that practice crash in the lead up to daytona so he looked pretty good this morning looked good
01:12in qualifying looked as smooth as ever no surprise looked like he hasn't missed a beat and yeah he could
01:18come out here and dominate and it would not surprise me here tonight

03:45jordan smith he's got ken roxon trying to figure out where to execute a pass on him but spent a
03:52little time with ivan tedesco earlier today who's part of the management structure at triumph racing
03:57and he said they're really pleased with jordan's comeback he missed the first six races through
04:01injury and then jumped on the bike he's getting better stronger faster each and every week he said
04:06they had another productive week in between birmingham and now and look at jordan go and that's
04:11the beauty for both the race team and jordan as they can keep improving oh it's a little sideways
04:17through the whoops right there kenny gets a great drive just to the right side of the whoops probably a

05:38yeah we ricky you and i were talking earlier today eli just looked a little bit off in
05:43qualifying practice just wasn't able to put clean quick laps together and it honestly couldn't come
05:50at a worse time when you look at his point situation he comes in nine points down off a really
05:55difficult birmingham outing this is the night where he needs a bounce back performance a vintage
06:01which eli win and so far ricky i'm just not quite seeing it jt i was asking the team about

06:07what you were just talking about there in qualifying and they took a close look at it of course they
06:11were watching film and they did identify segment six and they said look if we compare his his uh pace
06:17throughout every other part of the track we're in good shape so they identified it and they talked
06:21about it not being a problem there were really no changes with the bike they said apart from a clicker
06:26here and there and they said we've just got to piece that together and improve in that area yeah
06:30what uh jt and will are saying if you just watch eli close he over jumps there but his cornering
06:36doesn't look right to me and it doesn't look as consistent it's like he can't bowl the corners and
06:41some of the flat sweeping corners it's just like not one continuous bowl or sweep around it's like he's
06:48turning two turns into one like see right there he lands the bike rebounds it bounces up and the bike
06:54wants to go straight and get set of continuously turning doesn't look like he has good whoop entry speed
06:59jt remember that's what you and i were talking about after practice so uh not sure what's going
07:05on there definitely not what we've seen all season long from the two-time gym see right there yeah and
07:12they just missed the exit it's little nuances like that that we haven't seen from him all season
07:18and while we're watching the red bull ktm want to give a shout out to aaron plessinger the cowboy is
07:24taking this weekend off not sure when we'll see him back either uh needed a break a little banged up
07:30after birmingham so aaron heal up fast want to see you back at the track as soon as possible now
07:37jordan smith is starting to close in on justin vogel aboard that twisted tee
07:46hep suzuki and the triumph man's going to make pretty quick work of it yeah and that rhythm lane
07:52right there you make up so much time if you're able to go off that little tabletop over the single
07:57but it is high risk why because that single after the tabletop is huge and if you clip that
08:03you come up just too short you are taking a trip over the handlebars this guy no surprise
