00:46:01And then you are left there alone, listening to yourself have surgery.
00:46:05And because I went to a teaching hospital, at one point, I heard the senior doctor say to the junior

00:46:11mm, now what I would have done differently there.
00:46:14So I had the baby.
00:46:17It's been a big few years.
00:46:19We had our baby.
00:46:20We got married.
00:46:21I actually got married during COVID, which meant that we were only allowed to have two people at the wedding.
00:46:27And I said that the other day.
00:46:29And this woman went, but you didn't get to have your dream wedding.
00:46:32And I was like, girl, my wedding cost $12 and my parents weren't there.
00:46:36That is my dream wedding.
00:46:40Because we had this unconventional wedding.
00:46:43But I feel like that really suited us because we also had a very unconventional engagement.
00:46:48Because we had been dating for seven years.
00:46:50And so the month that my husband popped the question, I knew that it was coming because he was very
00:46:55loved up.
00:46:55And also I had set him a deadline.
00:46:57So I knew.
00:47:00And because of that, he was so annoyed.
00:47:01He said, now I have to do something to throw you off the scent.
00:47:04Which is why I thought it was weird when he called me up one night.
00:47:07I was alone in our apartment.
00:47:08And he said, I'm outside.
00:47:09I need you to come downstairs.
00:47:11I've been mugged.
00:47:12And I just thought, oh, my God.
00:47:14He's proposing.
00:47:17Went downstairs.
00:47:18He'd clearly been mugged.
00:47:21We got back into the apartment.
00:47:23He was so stressed out.
00:47:24He was pacing around.
00:47:25He said, I can't find my headphones.
00:47:26I don't know if someone stole them or if I left them here.
00:47:29And I said, all right, Andrew, just sit down.
00:47:31Play a video game.
00:47:32I'll go look for your headphones.
00:47:33And the first place I looked was his bedside drawer where I immediately found the engagement ring.
00:47:39And I knew that it hadn't been there earlier that day.
00:47:42Because earlier that day, I'd been looking for the engagement ring.
00:47:47So I realized what had happened.
00:47:49That means Andrew had been mugged on his way home from buying the ring.
00:47:53So not only was he going to propose, he had to fight off a mugger to do it.
00:47:57I know.
00:47:58So I did what any woman in my position would do.
00:48:00I tried on the ring.
00:48:03I sat in our room one by one.
00:48:05I called all my friends and family until everyone I love knew I was engaged.
00:48:10Except the man I was engaged to.
00:48:13And then Andrew called out, I'm starting the video game if you want to play.
00:48:16So I walked out.
00:48:17I couldn't hide it.
00:48:18I was smiling from ear to ear.
00:48:20He took one look at me and he just went, I know.
