07:26in two years he'll be able to guard that matchup as he gets a little stronger but not right now

08:24game so certainly that looms large if they want to guard him with a less physical player sterks will

15:08coach you're getting whatever you want on offense how are you executing so well well it was very
15:12important to get off to a good start in this game we talked a lot about that i was so
15:16good they're so
15:16hard to come back on they're in too much of a rhythm right now we got to do a better
15:20job coming with our
15:21double teams earlier and then close out better to their shooters appreciate it coach thank you
15:25well kevin robbie i i coached against fred hoiberg in the nba and i'll tell you
15:30a very innovative offensive coach a great teacher of the game but more importantly he's one of the
15:37best people you will run into in basketball just an outstanding person starts down low back on top
15:44newly instated player isaiah howard in starts with a three
15:48and the rebound lassoed inside and picked up by sage and back on top another three lost howard
15:55off the bench and kings and this time it is iowa's turn to get on the offensive glass tate sage

16:01going up right over the top and both these teams off these offensive rebounds coach they are looking to
16:08spray them to the perimeter well at every level of basketball you know robbie that is one of the
16:13toughest times to try to defend the three is after an offensive rebound you're scrambled
16:19and they did a great job both teams have finding shooters and here it is starts who's been struggling
16:25from three great offensive rebound here and back out extra pass and isaiah howard knocks it in
16:34isaiah howard just picked up his first foul and at the free throw line kale jacobson
16:39junior from ashland nebraska greenwood high school state champs there he was also their quarterback
16:46in addition to being a terrific basketball player he's a junior for this nebraska team they split the
16:53season series with iowa they came in tied robbie for second place in the big 10 with illinois and
16:59michigan states well and in game two of this series kale jacobson was outstanding 15 points
17:05eight rebounds a perfect six of six from the field former walk-on but he plays a monster role for
17:12the
17:12corn huskers
17:15iowa beating number one seed and defending national champion florida in the second round they come in
17:21with great momentum combs in the side howard will penetrate on the wing sage three good
17:29you get that middle drive that's a problem nebraska anytime the ball's in the corner they're trying to
17:34keep that thing on the baseline that time they're beat to the middle and that spray out is there
17:40well we're getting a shootout between
17:43frager and sage two freshmen coming off the bench
17:48knocking down three sixty percent shooting by both teams so far oh yeah no the offense has been
17:52outstanding and these are two good defensive teams jacobson look at him weave and fire he likes playing the
17:59the hawk eyes coach jacobson off the bench with four starts with the cross court sage the fake
18:12frager is there to meet him defensively throws it away here comes sam hoiberg
18:21probing feeding it's a quick release my goodness he got fouled howard got him sanford was firing and picks up
18:30some time at the line and howard picks up his second quick foul well here it is i mean you

18:38the quick release well still i always think there's a drive middle great look and sage just knocks it
18:45down you have to get the ball to the weak side against nebraska's defense they load up to the
18:51strong side it's just so hard for them to rotate because they're trying to force everything to the
18:56baseline then their help is all built in you get to the middle drive now it's it's easier said than
19:01done but on that possession they get it and you can see just how easy that hit ahead is from
19:07there
19:07here's the leading score for the huskers bryce sanfort he's an iowa transfer played for the hawkeyes
19:14for a couple years now he's a husker and he finished in the top 10 in scoring in the conference

19:23season for nebraska has had just an incredible season of shooting the basketball 79 made three
19:29pointers in conference play the second most in the history of the big 10 but just this has got to

19:35weird game for him obviously absolutely brother in iowa for a couple years he was there for two seasons

29:50but they're giving up too much room i mean those are as you said straight line drives i don't like
29:57that stance it's almost like a strategic duck in from iowa that they know that that nebraska is
30:02pre-programmed to help off these dribble drives and they're taking away that help
30:06knighting his way down the lane is sterks and the other way comes warrens and the huskers

30:17and hoiberg burrowing feeding on the wing fraeger three with a rebound collected by koch
30:27i think sterks can get in the paint at will as long as it's not on kick and roll a

32:40players in all of college basketball and minutes played number one in the big 10. got that matchup
32:46again with kach but look at where he pushed him out to much better there by kach on his initial

32:50defense the entire winner within five they've never led they trailed by 10. approaching two to play in the
32:59first half cross court kach three that's a great pass by sturtz to the weak side and kach can really
33:07shoot the ball they got kach and sage in there plus fogaris they can get some room now for bennett
33:14sturtz that's a three and a foul that's the second time they've fouled a three-point shooter
33:20iowa is on an eight nothing run and here it is you talked about it kach working much much harder
33:27and then starts finding the weak side you have to attack the weak side against nebraska's defense
33:34starts with a great pass there well there's there's a reason that they're giving up 50 of
33:39the opponent's shots are from three it's the way their defense is built but if you skip the ball as
33:45you said because of the way they load up because of the way they help those are going to be
33:49there and
33:49that's just bennett sturtz taking advantage of that kale combs picked up his first foul for the hawk
