00:00You might get a podcast preview if the Bulls don't pick it up.
00:03We'll just end up chatting about what's going on around the league because
00:06Bulls struggle to get any traction. Sixers led wire to wire as Billy Donovan talks to another Billy.
00:11Good to see Billy Kennedy back in action after he had suffered that leg injury earlier this year.
00:16He came back last week. Good to see Billy in the building as always.
00:20Although it's unfortunate, not unfortunate I should say, Zach Zarba is an excellent official.
00:25He's our lead. So if we do have like a review or an announcement, much to the chagrin of some
00:30of the folks in our truck,
00:32we will not hear Billy Kennedy give the fireside chance.
00:35It's going to be Zach Zarba to give the update.
00:38Well, it should be any time Billy Kennedy do it.
00:40I just think an automatic slot in to the top stop.
00:43I think Zach should just be like, hey, Billy, this is your show, man.
00:46Yeah, go ahead, man.
00:47Paul George knocks down a mid-range jumper.
00:50His return tonight after the 25-game suspension.
00:55Nine-time All-Star. He's a six-time All-NBA selection.
00:58See, Isaac Cora starting the second half.
01:00Yeah, he knocks down that three.
01:02He gets the spot over Jalen Smith.
01:03And then Williams is in to start this second half rather than Nick Richards.
01:08Smith is out for the rest of the game with that calf injury.
01:11Yeah, put Patrick Williams on his beat.
01:13Now you guys.
01:14Yeah, switched on him.
01:17Bulls are a little outsized to say the least.
01:20This is an incredibly small lineup with Williams at the five.
01:22It does force a turnover and picks up the pace.
01:25Good block.
01:26As Embiid was waiting for Boozell, or Paul George is waiting for Boozellis.
01:31You never wonder what the strategy is.
01:33Is it they want to try to pick up the pace a little bit?
01:35Try to get out of the run?
01:36It feels like, right, to try to get back into this game.
01:38They've got big bodies over there.
01:40They're certainly outsized, but they have some speed.
01:46Williams big son of three, drives and kicks to a wide open of Coro, knocks that one down.
01:51That's probably what they're trying to hope for.
01:54They can get some mismatches, open up the floor a little bit, driving lanes, and get that kind of situation
01:58you just saw right there.
02:01But if they force a ball in there, it's going to be a nightmare.
02:03Uh-oh!
02:04Oh, yeah, I told you.
02:06Joel Embiid with a slam.
02:08Yeah, they get the ball.
02:09If they decide to get the ball into him like they did in the first half, it could be really
02:12ugly here in the third quarter.
02:13Because the Bulls just don't have the size to guard it.
02:16There's a turnover.
02:17Well, it's been anything but ugly for Embiid offensively.
02:21He's got 25 points on 11 field goal attempts.
02:24Quick feed over to Edgecob, who's been a great three-point shooter.
02:27How about that little touch pass from Embiid?
02:30He's got to snap the ball over here.
02:37There is a block by Grimes on Trey Jones.
02:45Joel Embiid going to the rim with that mismatch.
02:48Well, that time they fronted the post.
02:50Watch this little touch pass right here.
02:53Almost like a no-look slap.
02:55Yeah.
02:57What did the five-fingers say to the ball?
02:59There is one.
03:02They're not all going to be winners, folks, here, as William's getting hit.
03:07This is one of those nights.
03:11Oh, my goodness.
03:12The Barlow trucks are foul on the side.
03:15Wow.
03:19I don't know about you, Amin.
03:20You're out of control over the night.
03:22Oh, man.
03:25We're talking about Vijay Edgecob who had seven three-pointers the other night.
03:30He is chasing one man on the all-time rookie three-point list in Philadelphia 76ers history.
03:38It is Allen Iverson, who is still in the building, sitting on that baseline.
03:42Seven on Monday.
03:44He's hit three of three tonight.
03:46He's got 17 points.
03:48And AI, who's had a bunch of rookie records, has already seen Vijay Edgecob top a couple of them.
03:53He's probably going to see, or could see, another one of those records as a rookie be toppled by Vijay
03:59tonight.
04:0019-point lead timeout.
04:02Hey, Bulls fans, sit in Vinny's Splash Zone by Jewel Osco.
04:05Experience Vinny's famous popcorn spill and get complimentary popcorn.
04:10Visit the Bulls.com slash Splash Zone to learn more.
04:15You handled the tongue twister perfectly right there, my friend.
04:19Slash Splash Zone.
04:20Yeah, they almost got it.
04:21They almost tried to get us.
04:22They almost tried to get us that little quick one at the end.
04:24I do believe that with the update we just got, it made a little bit more sense as to why
04:29the Bulls went so small.
04:30Nick Richards is now going to miss the remainder of this game with an elbow issue.
04:35So both Smith and Richards are out.
04:37And after the timeout, they bring in Leonard Miller off the bench to give some size.
04:42As he'll play the five now.
04:44Who's Ellis is on the bench.
04:46Jones flips it in.
04:47Puts it in.
04:48Plus the foul.
04:49Trey Jones just plays fearless.
04:51Like, he just, he recognizes, hey, look, I'm not the best three-point shooter,
04:55but that doesn't mean I can't get to the rim and finish.
04:59Here he is right here, drives it on.
05:00Paul George is a good defensive player.
05:04And all three of his buckets have been in the paint.
05:07Trey Jones on two-point shots this year.
05:10And most of those have come around the rim, as you mentioned, Stacey.
05:12He is finishing 60% of his two-point shots.
05:16And again, he's not a great three-point shooter.
05:17For his career, he's about 31%.
05:19So he knows where he is at his best.
05:22As you hit the nail on the head, he understands what his game is.
05:25Well, as we said, oh, that's, that's four for four.
05:29Vijay Edgecombe picking up right where he left off.
05:32He's got 20 points.
05:35And an easy 20 tonight for Vijay Edgecombe.
05:38Think about this.
05:39You've got a guy like Embiid out there.
05:40You're going to have a lot of wide-open shots.
05:42Just demands so much attention as Williams hits the three.
05:48I was thinking about Trey Jones because he just finished at that other end
05:50in front of Allen Iverson, right?
05:52As we talked about, two small guards who have such great understanding
05:55about how to maneuver around the rim.
05:57You've got three Bulls surrounding Embiid.
06:00Knocked out of bounds by Okoro.
06:03Good recovery that time.
06:04The Bulls came over on the back side
06:07and really kind of deterred that shot.
06:09He just missed it.
06:10But, again, they're fronting the post,
06:12which when you front the post,
06:13the backside guys have to be in position
06:15to stop that law throw.
06:21You've got Okoro on Embiid.
06:22Williams shading away from Paul George.
06:28Embiid looking to go to work.
06:29Muscling through Okoro and he draws a foul.
06:32Yeah, he's going to get to the freak-to-line.
06:34That's always been a strong suit for Joel.
06:37He's just too big.
06:38I mean, there's really nothing Isaac can do.
06:41He's in a good position defense right here.
06:43If you're Patrick Williams, you know, you're halfway over there.
06:46Go get him.
06:47Go double him.
06:48You completely leave Paul George over there,
06:50who's struggled from the three-point line.
06:52He's one of five.
06:54Go over there and double that ball.
06:56Get it out of his hands.
06:59Chicago, get ready.
07:00Bulls Fest 2026 presented by Foot Locker is back.
07:03The ultimate summer basketball experience returns
07:05in August the 22nd and 23rd at the United Center.
07:08You can learn more and sign up for the three-on-three tournament.
07:10Very popular event at BullsFest.com.
07:14Embiid, as it stands right now, has averaged for his career
07:19just a shade under 10 free-throw attempts per game.
07:22He is the NBA record holder for free-throws made per game right now at 8.2.
07:29That's the highest mark as of now in league history.
07:32Wow.
07:32And tonight, he's been in the line nine times.
07:34He's made right on cue.
07:40There's Jones, the kick.
07:41Miller will take a three.
07:43On target, Grimes the rebound.
07:46And Grimes had such a strong surge with Philadelphia last year,
07:49they signed him to a one-year deal.
07:54He put up some points, boy, and he put up two right there.
07:59He had 46 at a game in Houston last March.
08:03And there's some help by Grimes with Barlow on defense.
08:07That's what people do.
08:08They're like, oh, wow, Quinn Grimes could do this, huh?
08:10And earned himself another year.
08:12Sometimes it takes just getting an opportunity.
08:14Very much so.
08:16Ooh, Embiid was looking for a teammate in Grimes that time.
08:20Grimes had already started to cut.
08:23Buzelas will come back into the game after a few minutes on the bench.
08:35Buzelas and Giddey back out there together with Miller, Yabu Saleh, and Williams.
08:39This is a much bigger Bulls lineup now.
08:43Length all over the floor, including the 6-foot-8 Josh Giddey.
08:48Barlow, long distance, tapped out by Williams and Buzelas.
08:51Rikki Monon.
09:00Madis has talked about Paul George and the impact that watching PG has made on him.
09:06So many players of this generation that are Madis' age, the 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24-year-olds just
09:14revere Paul.

46:03Субтитры создали это.
46:33Ну, Ник Нурас grew up that way.
46:36He was
46:38the 2011
46:40NBA D-League.
46:41This is when it was the Developmental League.
46:43It's the same league. They just had sponsorships
46:45and all that. That's why it's the G-League.
46:46But he was a two-time D-League champion
46:49with Iowa. He spent 11
46:51years coaching in Europe. Most of that
46:53with Great Britain. He was part of the Great Britain
46:55national team staff with
46:57Chris Finch. Chris Finch, obviously the head coach of Minnesota.
46:59He became the Canadian national
47:01team head coach right when Canadian basketball
47:03was really starting to come back
47:05into the forefront. Obviously we know
47:06as Ulbricht puts that in
47:08how talented Canada basketball has
47:11become. He had his first head coaching
47:13job when he was 23 years
47:15old at an NAIA
47:17school, Grandview
47:19in Des Moines, Iowa.
47:21He was the youngest coach in the United States
47:23as Lowry misses. Phil Jackson got
47:25his start in the CBA. Yep. You know, Flip
47:27Saunders, a lot of great George Carl,
47:29a lot of great coaches that came
47:31to the NBA got their start in the CBA.
47:33Yep. And they had success at the NBA
47:35level because of the experiences
47:37they had to experience being
47:39a minor league coach and all the adjustments
47:41that you had to make. You know,
47:43you played for quarter points.
47:45So every quarter was actually a game.
47:47Yeah. So you had to win quarters at the end
47:49of the way. That's how you trust the playoff seating
47:51is your playoff. Yep. And then, you know,
47:53that was a real interesting game to do.
47:55Yeah, because you'd be in the fourth quarter
47:57of, let's say, a game like this. It's a blowout game.
47:59Well, the Bulls would still get a quarter
48:01on this because they've won this fourth quarter.
48:03Yes, they've won the fourth quarter. So they would still get
48:05value out of that. I think that was
48:06one of the smartest things
48:09that you could do, I thought you could do
48:11is because it guarantees that you get each team
48:13to play hard for four quarters. Yeah.
48:14Because they were playing for something.
48:19Nick Nurse came up through those ranks
48:21through the NAIA level and the D-League
48:23and the G-League.
48:24Here is Dillingham to the cup.
48:28Fourth quarter will skew this.
48:31The Bulls have scored 51
48:32here in the fourth quarter
48:34after the Sixers scored 51 in the third.
48:37Kyle Lowry, happy birthday!
48:41Kyle Lowry!
48:4440th birthday for Kyle Lowry
48:45and he knocks down the triple to a nice ovation.
48:49Miller draws the foul.
48:51The remaining fans will give it up for Lowry.
48:54Oh, the scuba celly.
48:56He hit him with the scuba celly.
48:58Oh, okay, they're doing too much now, Kyle.
49:00They're doing too much.
49:01I'm going to see that move.
49:02Come on now, buddy.
49:03You got me with the scuba celly.
49:05Don't get me now.
49:07Don't start twerking.
49:08Oh, Lord.
49:09He's trying to keep up with the youths.
49:11Oh, no.
49:12He'll pull the muscle.
49:13His kids have his damn age on that bench right now.
49:18He'll be on an injury list for 10 days
49:19out there trying to do all these dances.
49:22Vijay Edgecombe is 20 years old.
49:23Kyle Lowry is turning 40 today.
49:26He's his dad.
49:27What's up?
49:27He could be his dad.
49:28He could.
49:30The Bulls have 52 points in this fourth quarter.
49:34That is a new franchise record
49:36after they allowed a franchise record 51 in the third.
49:41They'll play the song.
49:44Lowry will miss the three
49:45and a merciful end to this night
49:49in the city of brotherly love.
49:52Oh, Boozelis will take it.
49:53And that'll end the night.
49:57A little love for Daylon Terry.
49:59Seeing some of his former teammates.
50:02It was all Philadelphia, though, tonight.
50:05Embiid and George return,
50:07and they combine for 63 points.
50:11Edgecombe had 22 in 30 minutes.
50:14Bulls do get 23 from Giddy.
50:16Boozelis ends up with 18.
50:18But at one point,
50:19the Bulls trail by 47.
50:20They lose by 20.
50:22Next game on Friday night,
50:23reigning NBA champs await in Oklahoma City.
50:26We'll have coverage at 6.30 on CHSN
50:28and the CHSN app.
50:30For our fantastic CHSN crew,
50:32for Stacey King,
50:33I'm Adam Abincing.
50:34So long from Philadelphia.
