00:17Classic stuff right there.
00:20Oh, runnin' red light.
00:22Oh my God!
00:23One!
00:24Shield!
00:27Give him the slap of the shtick.
00:30Oh, a lot.
00:35Oh!
00:37Ah, bro, what the ?
00:47He's losing control.
00:49Greg, bail, bail, bail!
00:51I can't, I can't stop, bro!
00:55Hey!
00:55In the last few years, the number of Americans on the road has skyrocketed.
01:01And that means more traffic, more accidents, and also more rage.
01:10You got a problem?
01:10Step out your car!
01:12With violent road rage up nearly 500%.
01:24This is where the rubber meets the road.
01:37Any time an altercation on the road turns physical, it can be very hard to rein it in.
01:45Especially when there are multiple people involved.
01:48Like with these motorists in Dublin, who, for unknown reasons, began squaring off in the street.
01:55I missed the start of it though.
01:58But even as most return to their cars, it only takes one man to reignite hostilities.
02:07Give me the slap of the shtick.
02:12Oh, lads.
02:14A near ramming escalates the hand fighting between the two parties.
02:18Going after him with the car.
02:19Into far more dangerous territory.
02:26Oh, lads, bumper cars.
02:28The dueling sedans head off around the bend.
02:33And though it's unclear how the situation resolves, it shows how quickly things can turn critical.
02:40When anyone in either party refuses to let things drop.
02:45Columbus, Ohio.
02:48A witness in a building spots two male motorists brawling for an unknown reason at a stoplight.
02:54And while at first, it's unclear which man belongs to which vehicle.
02:59When the female driver of the gray car gets involved.
03:07The altercation appears to come to an end.
03:15Sending both men back to their respective rides.
03:21Classy stuff right there.
03:23But as the two parties wait for the light to turn green.
03:28The woman in the gray sedan appears to make an unwise decision.
03:42The woman seems to throw something at the maroon vehicle.
03:45Say a few words.
03:47And then slam her door into his.
03:52And appears to spit.
03:55Out her window.
04:01Fortunately, despite the apparent taunting.
04:07The first driver doesn't retaliate or pursue.
04:11Opting instead to seemingly keep his frustration relatively contained.
04:19An admirable show of restraint that finally ends this ugly conflict.
04:23Hopefully for good.
04:28A lesson that ending a hostile exchange requires not only gaining one's composure.
04:36But keeping it.
04:39No matter what's thrown at you.
04:49Oh.
04:50Oh.
04:50Uh oh.
04:52Oh, watch out.
04:54Oh.
04:55Driving in snow can be treacherous.
04:58Uh oh.
04:59Oh.
05:02Because even a thin layer of compacted snow or ice.
05:05Can cause a dangerous loss of traction.
05:08Oh.
05:14According to Car and Driver, staying safe in snowy conditions requires slow and smooth movements,
05:21as if driving with a hot beverage in your lap, to help tires maintain their grip.
05:27Good advice, which can become very hard to follow when running from the police on a winter's day in Milwaukee.
05:41Two officers on patrol spot a car heading the opposite direction.
05:46That may be one they're looking for.
05:50According to the police report, the SUV, possibly stolen, matches the description of a vehicle that was used in connection
05:57with an alleged crime.
06:01And as traffic begins to move again, the driver of the white SUV quickly seems to confirm the officer's suspicions
06:09by appearing to try to lose them.
06:17The SUV doubles back through some business lots, which are still lined with slush from a recent snowfall.
06:28Once the SUV is back on the streets, it appears the fishtail on the wet road, blowing a red light,
06:36before turning into a neighborhood.
06:42We are now setting south on 21st from Hampton, south on 21st from Hampton.
06:46Where the officers are soon able to get a glimpse.
06:51West Bono, Purdue.
06:52Of the suspects inside.
06:55There has to be two occupants.
06:57Passenger has a black hoodie.
06:59The car races through the residential streets.
07:04Until it reaches a snow-covered dead-end road at the edge of the neighborhood.
07:09He's going towards the dead end here on 24th, 24th.
07:13But the lack of road isn't ending the chase.
07:18He is now on the sidewalk, doing a U-turn, in the snow, coming back down, south on 24th.
07:26We're coming south on.
07:29The pursuit makes its way back to a main street.
07:33West Bono, Hampton.
07:35Where the suspects open up the throttle.
07:41Blazing around stopped traffic.
07:43Through the red at Martin Luther.
07:45And ignoring stoplights.
07:47Coming up towards 3-7.
07:49Speeds approximately 60.
07:51As the SUV rapidly.
07:55Gains a significant lead.
07:57That's about to block on us.
07:58Come up to Sherman.
07:59Oh, f***.
08:01I'm looking great.
08:03Clear right.
08:04Through the red at Sherman.
08:05Disregard to the red.
08:06Still westbound on Hampton.
08:07Until.
08:11The suspects veer into another neighborhood.
08:14South on 4-5.
08:15South on 4-5.
08:16Where all the streets still have a layer of ice and snow.
08:20Coming up to Glendale.
08:21A serious danger.
08:24That suddenly.
08:26Takes its toll.
08:28Coming up to Congress here.
08:30He's losing control.
08:31You did.
08:32Craig, bail, bail, bail.
08:34I can't stop with him.
08:38Oh my God.
08:39Oh my God.
08:45In Wisconsin.
08:47We got us on a white Kia.
08:48Police spot an SUV that matches the description of a vehicle allegedly involved in a crime.
08:54Leading them on a pursuit through Milwaukee's wintry streets.
08:58He is now on the sidewalk doing a U-turn in the snow.
09:03The SUV barrels recklessly down main roads.
09:07Speed's approximately 60 through the red at Sherman.
09:11Disregard to the red.
09:12And into neighborhoods with snow-covered streets.
09:15South on 4-5.
09:17Where the slick surface eventually.
09:21Proves too much to handle.
09:23He's losing control.
09:25Freak, bail, bail, bail.
09:33The suspect's fishtail across a T-intersection.
09:37The passenger appearing to bail as they plunge toward an icy creek.
09:43With the cruiser unable to avoid the same fate.
09:51The officer's body cams.
09:54Capture the harrowing crash.
10:00Followed by a foot chase of the passenger.
10:06As the other officer approaches the driver's door.
10:15He finds the driver in a panic.
10:18His leg pinned under the car's tire.
10:20Possibly from when the cruiser knocked it forward.
10:23I got you.
10:24I got you.
10:25I got you.
10:25Super high.
10:26High.
10:26High.
10:27But with the vehicle stuck in place.
10:29High more.
10:30High more.
10:32the officer tries desperately to rocket forward.
10:35Moving.
10:37Oh.
10:37Oh, is it moving?
10:38Yeah.
10:39Oh, my.
10:40Oh, my.
10:42With the sound of backup approaching.
10:47the officer continues his struggle with the wrecked suv
10:55until finally
11:05meanwhile down the creek
11:12the other officer catches up to the runaway passenger and guides him to the shallow
11:26i'm gonna get you out thankfully with no further resistance
11:33both suspects are walked out of the creek to assisting units and though both appear unhurt
11:41it seems they and the officers
11:46are shaken up by the ordeal
11:51according to the police report both suspects are 17 years old they are arrested and transported
11:58to the hospital and are booked after receiving medical clearance
12:03meanwhile a search of the vehicle reveals a handgun
12:07the passenger faces charges that include possessing a dangerous weapon person under 18
12:13and according to court records the driver is charged with taking and driving a vehicle without consent
12:19which is dismissed as he pleads guilty to second degree recklessly endangering safety
12:23and vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer
12:29this harrowing chase makes it clear in pursuit eastbound on hampton from titonia
12:35that as dangerous as it is fleeing from police
12:38he is now on the sidewalk doing a u-turn in the snow
12:44doing it in icy wintry conditions makes it much
12:50much worse
13:01motorcycle riders are the most vulnerable drivers on the road
13:15because when an accident happens
13:23bro what the
13:26is often the biker's body that takes the brunt of the punishment
13:33according to an analysis by the nhtsa a motorcycle rider is five times more likely to be injured in a
13:40crash
13:40than a passenger vehicle occupant
13:46in 28 times more likely to be killed
13:50numbers that should make every biker extremely cautious
13:55even before they get out on the road
13:58in vietnam
14:01a motor scooter rider wisely dons her helmet as she prepares to leave work
14:06with the building about to close up shop
14:09she cautiously starts to back out
14:12and apparently hits a remote control to lower the security gate
14:16a bit prematurely
14:27in vietnam a woman is about to leave work on her scooter which she had brought inside her nail salon
14:35but as she backs out she apparently triggers the security gate via remote control
14:41a tad early
14:44the gate misses her helmet and pins her neck against the handlebars
14:50she appears to try using the remote to raise it back up
14:55to no avail
15:02she manages to dismount from the bike
15:05but though the gate slips off her neck
15:09her body remains pinned
15:11as the gate continues to fall
15:16until it hits the scooter's foot platform
15:20easing the pressure just enough
15:23for her to escape
15:25though likely a terrifying ordeal
15:28the woman fortunately
15:31doesn't appear to suffer any serious injuries
15:35a frightening and admittedly unusual reminder
15:39to always check your surroundings when on a motorized vehicle
15:44no matter where you happen to be
15:51auto accidents can be traumatic experiences
15:57affecting those involved physically and mentally
16:01are you okay
16:01and sometimes even in lighter crashes
16:09financially
16:11according to a recent study by the national safety council
16:15the average repair cost of a car accident in the us is just over six thousand dollars per vehicle for
16:22property damage alone
16:24all of which means that any accidents can prove far more costly than one might anticipate
16:31so the last thing a driver should want after being involved in the crash
16:35is to take any sort of action
16:37that might lead to another one
16:40in tempe arizona
16:44moments ago according to a crash report
16:48this apparently defiant woman rear-ended the car that's now filming her
16:52the other vehicle follows seemingly trying to get her attention
16:57we're not gonna be able to see our movies
16:59but rather than responding to them she continues driving
17:04heading off the freeway and straight toward a red light
17:17in arizona
17:19according to a crash report
17:21moments ago this woman was involved in a rear-end accident with the people now recording her
17:27and she appears to be rudely ignoring them
17:30as they follow her from the freeway onto an off-ramp where she heads straight toward a red light
17:37oh oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh i don't want
17:50as the suv blows through the stoplight is t-boned by a crossing pickup
17:56spinning the suv around before it flips over three times
18:09the trailing driver calls authorities she ran a red light in front of us and got t-boned by a
18:16truck
18:16and flipped over in front of us as bystanders run over to help somebody's pulling her out of the car
18:21right now according to the filmer the suv driver survives the crash with seemingly minor injuries
18:27while any injuries to the truck driver have not been disclosed
18:33though the woman according to court records eventually pleads guilty to failing to stop for
18:38a red light the full consequences of her actions far surpassed what could have happened
18:44if the first accident had been her last oh my god holy
18:57draw bridges date back to the castles of medieval europe and possibly much earlier as a way to cut off
19:05invading forces and though their function has changed their usefulness remains allowing vehicles passage over
19:13water while maintaining access below for oversized ships
19:20and while the process might be inconvenient for those in a hurry what in the
19:27waiting one's turn is not only crucial for their safety how stupid you have to be to do that one
19:32it's also the law holy fortunately in this case the driver wisely reconsiders their short-sighted approach
19:46but there are others who for whatever reason
19:51choose to press their luck and though this driver avoids a wipeout
19:57other risk takers aren't as fortunate in wisconsin as the racine street drawbridge rises
20:06a cyclist appears intent on trying to beat it
20:16the biker bounces off the warning gate then veers toward the crevice
20:22which opens to the water below
20:31bystanders rush over and find the woman incredibly lying on a ledge in the gap
20:38one man is able to lift her up and ultimately the woman is taken away from the dangerous gap
20:47emergency crews soon arrive to assist the woman who according to news reports has luckily escaped
20:53with only minor injuries to her face the reasons behind her shaky ride have not been publicly disclosed
21:01but it's hopefully a wake-up call that trying to outmaneuver a drawbridge under any circumstances
21:11shows a serious gap in judgment
