Recapping a brutal Heat blowout loss to the Spurs last night. Wemby reminds us all he’s that dude but are the Spurs the best model for the Heat to follow?

07:22guys outside of bam, aren't playing like superstars, aren't playing like top five picks because
07:26they're not.
07:27And that, and that, that is the argument against, against what the heat do, which is make the
07:32playoffs every year and the Spurs, I think it's easy for a lot of people to say, look,
07:36they tanked and look how good they are.

07:38But there's context to it.
07:39One, they weren't just tanking and were bad.
07:43They won 32 games in 2020, 33 games in 2021, 34 games in 2022, 22 games, 22 games in the
07:50last two seasons and 34 last year.
07:52That's six seasons of being trash, right?
07:57So be prepared when, when you say, Hey, I want them to tank, be prepared to finally have
08:04a winning team in 2032.
08:08And, and they got extremely lucky with the face of the NBA.
08:14By the way, like I said, if their tank goes one year differently and their number one
08:21overall pick ends up being Zachary recent, we should say, no one gives a bleep about the
08:28San Antonio Spurs.

08:50But yesterday you don't equate what the Spurs look like to just look, look tank.
