The Miami Heat schedule was released, they open up the season on October 22 against the Orlando Magic. They open up at home against the Knicks on Sunday October 26 and have just 5 national TV games... Heat Nation is upset! Who in the Heat roster is must watch TV?

00:40everybody will be fresh but so would they where to go so we're gonna get we're gonna get an early

00:46look at skinny luca but you did nail it because we had ourselves the opening night orlando magic

00:53yep back-to-back years checking out the the although it's kind of a sexy matchup this year

00:59because orlando beefed up it's it's crazy because over the last couple years we've seen the growth

01:08of orlando and know that they're not to be played with they got some players um they haven't quite

01:15you know they kind of had the injury bug at the end of the year too so um it'll be interesting to

01:24see how how it plays out because they do look like one of those teams that that are on an upwards

01:32trajectory no they are that's why they make the move for desmond bain i will say though it was

01:38interesting that uh i saw like they had a list i think it was uh hoop site came out with their list

01:44of shooting guards yesterday and they had tyler hero sixth and i think desmond bain was like all

01:51the way down to 13th and man he went for a lot of picks yeah he went for a hole you know what you

01:59know what it is it's i'm gonna say this about tyler he's getting kurt cousins

02:06meaning that kurt cousins has been a good quarterback but for some reason when you say

02:15kurt cousins you don't give him his flowers and i would say about tyler tyler has had some success

02:21in the league right he's been asked to do a lot of different things that people don't really realize

02:27unless you're here but he's been a scorer he's been an assist guy he shoots the three well and he

02:35does a lot of these things but for some reason everybody else in the nba is like no he ain't

02:43that guy yeah and it's kind of interesting because i see like a lot of these comparisons that are out

02:47there right now like austin reeves you know he's like i better get at least tyler hero money and i

02:52think he's talking about now and i'm like listen austin reeves slow your roll there arkansas all right

02:59like just because you're right because you're intangibles with swag does not mean you're tyler

03:19sort of a barometer which is i think is what makes this kind of a fascinating year because look i think

03:24tyler hero is going to get paid and you know i think tyler's gunning for like the jackpot i don't

03:32think he's gunning for the 40 million a year i think he's looking for the uh for for you know the

03:38the uber amount of money that's with the the franchise with the 50 a year does it does it

03:43i'm gonna say this and this is not a knock on the miami heat but it seems like every guy

03:50that took the hometown deal got screwed oh he's not taking a hometown deal no but i'm just saying

03:57if you think about it i think he already said he wasn't taking a hometown deal he's like we could

04:02do it in the fall or we could do it in the summer and just be more expensive that didn't sound like

04:05hometown discount to me that sound like that didn't sound like hometown discount to me i like the answer

04:14by the way i thought it was i'm like good have that confidence because if tyler here it's the same

04:18confidence jimmy had before he one-legged three did yeah but the difference like look the difference

04:23between jimmy and tyler is obviously the age like that's the thing is the heat are going to decide

04:27this with tyler hero entering his prime is he is he a pillar of the franchise is he the guy that

04:33they're going to actually believe him we know that they already invested in bam um and you can see

04:38what the listen this is not this is this there's no there there's no clear arbitration of what the

04:44country thinks of those guys as a duo the kings have more national tv games than they do this year

04:49so you know that that's going to be i mean is that because of the players or the record last year

05:03to why and regardless of how much let's look at this from a national perspective regardless of

05:11how much the heat are always in the mix and i'm gonna say every year you know the heat in some

05:18kind of capacity are going to be involved in something at the end of the season you don't

05:23you never have to worry about that but what about this team

05:29is appealing and fun to watch

05:34from my perspective what just from a no i i i you know look i think that's i think that's

05:42totally fair i don't think that they have the sexiest names nationally i think probably if you

05:46were to ask like who's the best watch on the team that's going to have the most highlights this year

05:50kalal like kalal's the guy who probably like jumps off the page out of anybody i see i say young

05:57like if he plays some consistent i'm talking though like the guy who has like eye-popping

06:05plays i'm talking about the guy who people are gonna be like whoa who's gonna have the most

06:09of those i'm not talking about best player no i'm not talking about it would probably be kalil

06:15but if you're talking about the guy that if he's going off on a night where he can go for 40

06:21hitting threes they would be tyler like right but but we've already determined vlad we've already

06:27determined what the rest of the nba thinks about tyler right he doesn't he has he he hasn't it's it

06:33i feel like the older he's gotten the less gravitas he's gotten as a player like less people talk about

06:38him as far as like one of those national guys to tune into right or wrong i'm just saying right

06:43that's why i'm not picking him vlad because i'm like looking at this and i'm like well

06:48obviously not yeah tyler hero can have awesome games i'm just saying like who's gonna be the

06:53guy on this team that's that's gonna be bringing people into the circus tent and that's why i'm

06:58like looking i'm like you know norman powell solid player like how many guys have watched the norman

07:03powell mixtape you know right but yeah if you had to go in who has the best mixtape it'd be kalil

07:11yeah it's gonna be either kalil i think jovich is probably if jovich becomes like

07:15little joker and has some of that in him this year like those are the guys i feel like

07:20yeah but but here's the thing about the schedule and and and i love the way people get upset about

07:28how many primetime games they have and right it changes during the course of the year so if your

07:35team is balling out you're gonna get more nationally televised games not that anymore dude yes you will

07:40first of all i thought we would love to hear eric reed and and um john crotty and tony fiorentino

07:48whoever's there i think we would love to hear the local cast right and second who cares right

07:55that's who cares because if your team is bad you know and then the national media gets on you you're

08:00gonna be like oh the national media is on us but then if you're good okay guess what happens they're

08:05gonna do what the nfl does they'll wipe out another team and put your game on because you're right

08:13you're doing things so so while we sitting here making we only have five national televised games

08:18they start off 20 and five they know but you're gonna go up okay but the conversation was you guys

08:24asked like who's gonna be the guy that gets people into the heat nationally like who's gonna be the guy

08:28i pop at it and that's that's what we're trying to figure out but i think if they're if they have a

08:33a good record and they're a top of the the eastern conference at any point during the course of the

08:39season they all are gonna get eyes on them right the problem is is they were 37 and 45 right that

08:49doesn't garner a whole bunch of uh primetime games it doesn't this isn't this isn't a heat

08:56they are being disrespected i right i'm not doing that here i'm asking all right i'm asking

09:02what is the who is the guy because you guys are saying tyler and i'm like i would say tyler's

09:07gonna leave the score bam is the best probably all-around player on the heat i would say those

09:11guys have been in the league for six years and they're obviously because guys who are not as good

09:16or teams that are not as good are still getting more eyeballs like demar de rosen and sabonis are

09:21getting more games than those guys right yeah but he's still in sacramento yeah okay yeah for now for

09:29i would just say yeah i i like i can't disagree about that i would say it's kalil now that i think

09:37about it when i'm thinking of when you watch heat highlights whenever there have been heat highlights

09:41it always comes with a kalil alley-oop or kalil block or something along those lines well that's

09:47what i think it's gonna be like i think like you know he only started half the season last year so

09:52i'm saying like if there's gonna be a guy who's like because bam and tyler have been around for

09:58yes they're good this is not a detriment on their talent as players i'm talking about

10:02if there is there gonna be do the heat have a new equation on them an x factor that'll be like oh

10:08that'll actually imagine i think it's he's the guy who's gonna who's gonna get people if if there's

10:14gonna be anybody well when you say it that way then i guess because then you're adding okay there

10:19you got a triumvirate you know i guess jimmy was the third jimmy was the big star jimmy was the face

10:24the right but because jimmy being the face of the heat you knew about tyler and we saw bam bam's

10:30bam is bam everybody loves bam like you always say everybody knows bam but jimmy was the star

10:36is there another guy that can be another star i'm not saying another jimmy but a just another star

10:42because that's what if the heat win and tyler's putting up good numbers great or better numbers

10:48than he did last year he would that was his first year as an all-star right yep yeah if he does it

10:54again back to back bam picks up his play from last season the team is winning you're gonna see more

11:00nationally televised game there's no way because guess what there's still one dynamic there's still

11:05one all-star in this right city of miami right the heat are winning people are gonna want to come

11:13to miami and they're gonna want to televise games because the biggest star of all of south florida

11:19is the city of miami and you know what's funny about all this i was trying to say that's part of

11:25that it's one of its tools that's one of it that's the asset of miami astron that's it but yeah we'll

11:31take it i was thinking about when i played did i care as much about nationally televised games and

11:39then i realized when i was in minnesota we played a lot we played at four o'clock or seven o'clock

11:48or monday night almost every week 15 and one you literally you were literally john madden's favorite

11:54player dude like you're not you're not a good barometer on this sorry you're just backing up
