00:05Hello.
00:06Today we're taking a look at the new Xbox One experience,
00:08specifically the store.
00:10We've got some new stuff going on in the store area on the console, right?
00:12That's right.
00:13So the first thing that you'll notice is we made a really concerted effort
00:17to group the stuff in your home screen between what's yours and what could be yours.
00:24And so you'll notice these first three areas are expanded by default.
00:28That represents all of your stuff, all the stuff you've been doing recently,
00:33all the stuff that your friends and your Xbox Live community has been up to,
00:36and then all of the great video content that you have access to
00:39because of the apps that you've downloaded and you like to watch.
00:42Just to the right of that, you'll notice the store area.
00:44And when you go into that area, you'll see it expands
00:48into the four major categories of the store on Xbox One.
00:52There's a lot going on here.
00:53You've got kind of a neat redesign.
00:54One thing I'm noticing right away here is it's much faster.
00:57That's right.
00:58So this is one of the areas where we made a really concerted effort
01:01to improve the overall performance of things,
01:05but not just the speed of, you know, loading images and loading scenes,
01:10but also reducing the number of clicks to get to information that you care about.
01:14So you'll notice at the top level, just like some of the other areas,
01:18we've added this vertically scrolling element
01:20where at the top you see here some editorial stuff,
01:23and then you'll see a couple of rows of, you know, what's new, what's popular, things like that.
01:30So you don't actually have to click all the way into the store just to get that information.
01:33So Richard, take us into the game store and show us what we can expect.
01:37Oh, okay.
01:38So we'll click here on Browse All Games,
01:41and this is just showing you all of the games in the catalog that you can download and play immediately
01:46or that are coming in the future that you can pre-order today.
01:50You'll notice we've got the same vertically scrolling element with all of the different categories,
01:56but what's going to help you, what's going to make you feel like things are a lot faster
02:00are this neat category, this neat strip of categories anchored to the top.
02:06So you'll see all the games, but then you'll see you can filter down specifically to add-ons,
02:12and of course you're still able to search across the entire catalog,
02:16or if you have a 5x5 that you need to redeem, this is where you go to redeem that 5x5.
02:21All right, Richard, let's click in here and take a look at a specific game.
02:24So we're looking at the game details page,
02:27and you'll notice that we've sort of reordered all of the information about the game
02:32to prioritize the things that users are using to make the decision to buy or not to buy the game.
02:39So you'll see there's just some basic information about the game up here at the top,
02:43but as you scroll down, you see the active Twitch broadcast.
02:47It's always great to see someone playing the game in real time to help you make that decision.
02:52You can scroll down and see all of the clips that the community has created,
02:56and then you scroll a little further and you'll see some of the information,
03:00screenshots, trailers that the publishers provided about the game.
03:03And then, Richard, up here I see Game Hub, which will bring us to the Game Hub feature of Xbox
03:06One.
03:06That's right. So another great way to decide if you want to own the game or not is to see
03:12what the community thinks of it.
03:14What does the community do with the game?
03:15So you can go straight from the details page into the Game Hub.
03:18You can see what the game developer is doing to sort of foster and curate that community on Xbox Live.
03:24And you'll also be able to get to information about what your friends do with the game.
03:29So just like you can on the Game Hub, you can see friends who play this game, etc.
03:33The all-new store is coming this November, so check it out, find some new stuff, and let us know
