00:00:11I've been in wars. I've seen entire armies fall under the weight of the sword. I've seen kings
00:00:17fall, empires crumble, men beg for mercy. But never in all my existence had I seen death itself
00:00:24kneel before a man like that day. The sky darkened in the middle of the day. The earth groaned as
00:00:34if it
00:00:34were about to split in two. And the world in that instant crossed a point of no return. On a
00:00:50hill
00:00:50forgotten by the kings of the earth but remembered by the heavens and feared by the hells. A man hung
00:01:00between heaven and earth. Rejected by men. Abandoned by his own. Silent in the face of violence. Yet
00:01:10still giving himself for all. His body was torn apart. Each breath was a battle. Each heartbeat
00:01:21a sacrifice.
00:01:27And yet his eyes still carried something that no steel could wound. A light that pierced the very
00:01:35darkness. When the last breath left his lips, the impossible happened. The veil was torn. The graves
00:01:46opened. And the age-old silence of the temple was shattered by the roar of eternity.
00:02:02But what came next? What followed the death of the one who divided history into before and after?
00:02:35At midday, the sky didn't just darken. It was clothed in mourning.
00:02:42It wasn't an ordinary shadow. It was a heavy cloak of darkness that covered Jerusalem like a silent
00:02:49judgment. The air became thick, difficult to breathe, as if the world itself held its breath before what
00:02:57was happening. Thunder echoed, even without lightning. Atop Golgotha, a cross simultaneously marked the end
00:03:08and the beginning. Jesus bled slowly. His body hung exhausted. His lips barely had any strength, but his presence
00:03:21dominated everything. Around him, the Roman soldiers murmured amongst themselves. None of them laughed.
00:03:29None mocked. Fear had seeped into every face hardened by war. The centurion, a man trained to ignore pain, felt
00:03:41a shiver run down his spine.
00:03:43He had seen many die. But never anyone die like this. With authority. With surrender. With purpose.
00:03:56This man, this man, this man is not like the others. At the foot of the cross, the women wept
00:04:07silently, tears streamed down weakly.
00:04:10John remained nearby. John remained nearby, trying to be strong as the world crumbled before his eyes.
00:04:18Then, a profound silence fell over everything. And with a weak voice, but firm as the sound of sacred thunder,
00:04:28Jesus declared, It is finished.
00:04:39His body yielded. His head fell. And the earth responded. At that very moment, in the Temple of Jerusalem,
00:04:50the priests were preparing the evening incense. Everything followed the ritual, the same rite as always,
00:04:58until the ground trembled beneath their feet. An impossible windstorm invaded the sacred precinct.
00:05:07The curtains fluttered. The flames of the torches bent. And then, the roar.
00:05:14The veil. The veil. The veil that separated the holy of holies, the place where only the high priest could
00:05:23enter once a year,
00:05:24was torn from top to bottom. Not by the hands of men. Not by blades. But by the power of
00:05:33heaven.
00:05:34The priests screamed. Some fell face down to the ground. Others fled in despair. The symbol of separation between God
00:05:46and men
00:05:47had been destroyed. Something sacred. Something untouched for generations. Now torn from heaven to earth.
00:06:02The veil has been torn. Outside, the winds shook the palm trees. Stones rolled from the hills. The walls creaked.
00:06:15And the impossible continued to happen.
00:06:17Some graves cracked. Ancient tombs opened. The seal of death was broken. Chaos spread among the city's inhabitants.
00:06:29But it wasn't the chaos of war. It was the chaos of glory about to manifest itself.
00:06:37At Golditha, after feeling the tremor, seeing the dark sky, and witnessing Jesus' death, the centurion fell to his knees.
00:06:47His eyes, once full of skepticism, now shone with fear.
00:06:54Truly, this man was the Son of God.
00:07:01The words echoed among the soldiers.
00:07:05Many lowered their heads, unsure what to think.
00:07:09Others simply watched in silence.
00:07:12The cross, now motionless, seemed to emit a presence impossible to explain.
00:07:20But the signs didn't stop there.
00:07:22Cracks opened in the ground.
00:07:25Graves around the city began to give way.
00:07:28Forgotten tombs were broken like fragile vases.
00:07:33Tombstones shattered.
00:07:34Bones that had once been desiccated now aligned.
00:07:39Flesh upon flesh.
00:07:42Life where there was only silence.
00:07:45Those who had died in faith were returning.
00:07:50On the eastern slope, a child pointed with a trembling voice.
00:07:55Mummy?
00:07:57Someone's coming out of the ground.
00:07:59Silhouettes emerged among the olive trees.
00:08:02Men and women in dusty clothes.
00:08:05Eyes full of light.
00:08:08Firm steps.
00:08:10Silent.
00:08:11They walked towards the holy city.
00:08:14Not as ghosts, but as witnesses.
00:08:17As a harbinger of what was to come.
00:08:21The gates of Jerusalem opened with the tremor.
00:08:24Some guards fled.
00:08:26Others fell to their knees.
00:08:28What is this that is happening?
00:08:32In the fields, shepherds dropped their staffs.
00:08:35In the houses, candles went out without wind.
00:08:39On the rooftops, men watched the dark sky with fear.
00:08:45The world, at that moment, was no longer the same.
00:08:50In a nearby valley, a herd of goats ran frantically in circles, as if fleeing something unseen by human eyes.
00:08:59Their hooves pounded the dry earth, raising dust, while their wide eyes betrayed a primal terror.
00:09:07The shepherds shouted, trying to gather them together, but it was useless.
00:09:13Something invisible had broken the balance of creation.
00:09:17In the skies, birds that once soared freely through the air now hovered disoriented, beating their wings aimlessly, as if
00:09:28the winds had lost their direction.
00:09:31Some plummeted suddenly.
00:09:33Others spun in circles, confused, as if the very sense of up and down had been shaken.
00:09:42Then came silence.
00:09:44Not the absence of noise, but a deep, heavy, reverent silence.
00:09:52The silence of recognition.
00:09:55The silence of something that had just changed forever.
00:10:00It was as if all creation screamed without words.
00:10:05The Lamb has been slain.
00:10:08In Herod's palace, luxury could not quell the fear.
00:10:13Servants dropped goblets from their hands.
00:10:16The sound of breaking glass echoed through the marble corridors.
00:10:21One of them ran in despair, crossing gilded halls, seized by panic.
00:10:26The city is in darkness.
00:10:29Even the temple guards have fled.
00:10:31Silence, fool.
00:10:32It's just a storm.
00:10:34But as he spoke, his own voice trembled.
00:10:39He knew.
00:10:41Everyone knew.
00:10:43This was not just a storm.
00:10:47Elsewhere in the city, people still lay prostrate in the streets, some kneeling, others embracing
00:10:54their children, all trying to understand what they had witnessed.
00:10:59Some murmured about judgment.
00:11:01Others spoke of a curse.
00:11:03Very few, almost no one, understood that this was the holiest day in history.
00:11:12The temple columns creaked as if about to collapse, but they did not fall.
00:11:18The altar remained intact, but now it was empty of power.
00:11:24Because the acceptable sacrifice no longer rested on stone, it had been made in flesh.
00:11:31Even in the invisible, even in regions where human eyes cannot reach, the demons trembled.
00:11:40At that very moment, a new time began.
00:11:44And everything that would happen in the following days would only be the beginning.
00:11:52Three days passed.
00:11:54Jesus' body had been hastily buried, wrapped in linen, placed in a borrowed tomb,
00:12:00sealed with a large stone.
00:12:03There was no time for honors, no time for farewells, only haste, fear, silence.
00:12:12The city still murmured about the signs, the torn veil, the darkness, the earthquake.
00:12:19Something had changed in the air, on the earth, in the hearts of the people.
00:12:24Although few understood exactly what.
00:12:27But not everyone was at peace.
00:12:30In a hidden corner of the Sanhedrin, the religious leaders gathered hastily.
00:12:36Torches cast flickering shadows on the walls.
00:12:39Their faces were tense, their voices low, but heavy with urgency.
00:12:45We need to silence this before it becomes uncontrollable.
00:12:49The disciples might try to steal the body.
00:12:53They will say he has risen.
00:12:56They will say the prophecy has been fulfilled.
00:13:01Then make the tomb a place impossible to violate, so that no one can enter or leave.
00:13:15Guards, seal it with Caesar's seal.
00:13:19No one enters.
00:13:21No one leaves.
00:13:30At that very moment, in another part of the city, Mary, the mother of Jesus, gazed at the sky through
00:13:37the window.
00:13:39The clouds that had previously covered Jerusalem had now dissipated.
00:13:44The blue had returned to the firmament, but her soul was still shrouded in mist.
00:13:50Her heart pounded with a premonition she couldn't explain.
00:13:54Something was coming.
00:13:56Something great.
00:13:58Something holy.
00:14:00Even amidst the pain.
00:14:03Meanwhile, the disciples remained hidden.
00:14:06Doors locked.
00:14:07Voices low.
00:14:09Tired eyes.
00:14:11Fear completely overwhelmed them.
00:14:14Without the Master, the mission seemed to have come to an end.
00:14:20He's gone, but he'll go.
00:14:24What if he comes back?
00:14:28Peter shook his head in silence.
00:14:30His gaze was hollow.
00:14:32He still carried the weight of denial.
00:14:36Guilt crushed his hope.
00:14:38In the stillness of the night, Jerusalem tried to return to normal.
00:14:43Merchants reopened their stalls.
00:14:46Guards resumed their posts.
00:14:48But the echoes of the cross still vibrated through the stones of the city.
00:14:54Nothing was truly normal.
00:14:57Nothing would ever be the same again.
00:15:00Then, on the third day, as the sun timidly began to rise on the horizon, a new story was about
00:15:09to unfold.
00:15:11The third day dawned, wrapped in an unusual silence.
00:15:16The stones of the streets still bore the scars of the tremor that had shaken Jerusalem.
00:15:21The air was light like a spring breeze, yet it carried an invisible, sacred expectation, as if the heavens themselves
00:15:32were waiting for something.
00:15:34Mary Magdalene walked quickly along the narrow path that led to the tomb.
00:15:39In her hands, linen carefully perfumed.
00:15:43In her heart, burning longing behind her, other women followed in silence.
00:15:50Their red eyes betrayed a whole night of weeping, yet their steps were steady.
00:15:57The pain was still fresh, but there was something stronger than grief, love.
00:16:06In the distance, the garden began to reveal itself under the first light of day.
00:16:11The shadows slowly dissolved among the trees.
00:16:16When they reached the rock that sealed the entrance of the tomb, a chill ran through their bodies.
00:16:22The stone was no longer there.
00:16:26Who moved the stone?
00:16:30And the guards?
00:16:32Where are the guards?
00:16:47The open entrance seemed to glow with a faint, almost imperceptible light rising from within the darkness.
00:16:56Mary Magdalene stepped closer.
00:16:58Her hands trembled.
00:17:00Her heart raced in her chest.
00:17:03The world seemed to hold its breath with her.
00:17:08Carefully, she pushed aside the cloth at the entrance.
00:17:12The tomb was empty.
00:17:16The other women exchanged glances, seized by a silent fear.
00:17:22The linen was there, carefully folded, untouched.
00:17:26But the body was not.
00:17:29An impossible emptiness filled the cave.
00:17:33Not just the absence of a body, but the absence of death itself.
00:17:40Suddenly, an intense light burst from inside the rock, as if heaven had opened from within the earth.
00:17:47The women instinctively stepped back, shielding their eyes, their hearts pounding in their chests.
00:17:54The brightness did not burn, but overwhelmed.
00:17:59And then, at the center of that light, two figures appeared.
00:18:04Garments dazzling like lightning.
00:18:07Faces hidden by glory.
00:18:10When they spoke, their voices came not only with sound, but with power.
00:18:16Why do you seek living among the dead?
00:18:20He is not here.
00:18:21He has risen, as he said.
00:18:48He has risen, as he said.
00:18:51But her eyes were no longer filled with despair.
00:18:56Something new was being born there.
00:19:00Faith.
00:19:02Go and tell the disciples the being said.
00:19:05Tell them that he is going ahead of them to Galilee.
00:19:08There they will see him.
00:19:16The silence that had ruled the garden was broken by hurried footsteps.
00:19:22The women rushed out, stumbling between tears and smiles.
00:19:27They wept, yet they ran like those who carry life.
00:19:32For the first time since the cross, there was hope.
00:19:38Meanwhile, in the city, the guards began to regain their senses.
00:19:43Some were still sprawled on the ground, stunned, unable to explain what they had seen.
00:19:49A light from the sky.
00:19:52An earthquake that tore through the dawn.
00:19:56And the stone, removed without human hands.
00:20:01In desperation, they ran to the religious leaders.
00:20:05The body, the body, disappeared.
00:20:11How did it disappear?
00:20:14A light, a being.
00:20:16Ye, we fainted.
00:20:18When we woke up, the stone was no longer there.
00:20:25The Sanhedrin gathered in haste.
00:20:28Pale faces, tense voices.
00:20:32The threat was real.
00:20:34The rumor of the resurrection could spread like fire in the desert.
00:20:40Silence. No one will know about this.
00:20:43You will say that the disciples came at night and stole the body while they slept.
00:20:48What if Rome finds out we're asleep?
00:20:52We'll take care of it.
00:20:53You'll be well rewarded.
00:21:00Meanwhile, the disciples were still hiding, doors locked, basting breaths.
00:21:06The atmosphere heavy with fear, guilt, and pain.
00:21:12The promise seemed too distant.
00:21:15Suddenly, the door opened abruptly.
00:21:19Mary Magdalene burst into the room.
00:21:21I saw the Lord.
00:21:22Mary, you seem troubled.
00:21:23No.
00:21:24I saw him with my own eyes.
00:21:27He spoke to me.
00:21:28He called me by name.
00:21:29Peter and John looked at each other.
00:21:32Something burned within them.
00:21:34They didn't say a word.
00:21:36They just ran.
00:21:38They ran through the streets.
00:21:40They ran through the garden.
00:21:41They ran to the tomb.
00:21:43When they arrived, they saw the linen carefully folded.
00:21:48No sign of a struggle.
00:21:49No sign of theft.
00:21:51This was not the work of thieves.
00:21:54It was something infinitely greater.
00:21:58That same night, while the disciples were still gathered, locked in, and confused,
00:22:04the air suddenly changed.
00:22:07No door was opened.
00:22:09No window moved.
00:22:11But he was there.
00:22:14Peace be with you.
00:22:16Eyes widened.
00:22:18Hearts nearly leaped from their chests.
00:22:21Some fell to the ground.
00:22:23Others wept.
00:22:25Others recoiled in fear.
00:22:27But it was him.
00:22:29Alive.
00:22:32Touch my hands.
00:22:34See, a spirit does not have flesh and bones as used to be I have.
00:22:39Eight days later, Thomas heard everything, but did not believe.
00:22:45Unless I see the nail marks, unless I touch them, I will not believe.
00:22:53Eight days later, they were all gathered again.
00:22:57Doors closed, hearts attentive.
00:23:00And as before, he appeared in their midst.
00:23:04Thomas, put your finger here.
00:23:08Look at my hands.
00:23:10Do not be unbelieving, but believing.
00:23:15Thomas fell to his knees in tears.
00:23:18My Lord and my God.
00:23:21Jesus looked at him with deep compassion.
00:23:25Because you have seen me, you have believed.
00:23:29Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.
00:23:34The impact of the resurrection grew each day.
00:23:38The disciples began to understand.
00:23:40The plan was greater than the cross.
00:23:43Death was not the end.
00:23:45It was the key.
00:23:47But outside that small community, the world still did not understand.
00:23:56In Jerusalem, rumors grew.
00:23:59Some mocked.
00:24:01Others doubted.
00:24:02But some began to believe.
00:24:06And in the hills of Galilee, as the disciples climbed to a promised meeting,
00:24:12a new time was about to manifest itself.
00:24:15Something would come from above.
00:24:18Something that would change everything.
00:24:22Galilee, with its gentle hills and golden fields, seemed to breathe in peace.
00:24:29But among the disciples, there was expectation, tension, hope.
00:24:36Each step towards the mountain, marked by the Master's words, carried memories, questions, and fear.
00:24:44He had promised to meet them there, and they went.
00:24:48When they arrived, the wind was light, the sky clear, the silence different.
00:24:57And then, it wasn't long before He appeared.
00:25:03Jesus, alive, glorified.
00:25:09With the same gaze that had touched fishermen, sinners, and kings,
00:25:15they fell to their knees, not just out of devotion,
00:25:18but because the moment seemed to tear the veil between heaven and earth.
00:25:23Some were in awe, motionless.
00:25:26Others let silent tears stream down their faces.
00:25:29All, however, shared the same look.
00:25:33The awareness that they were before something that no human language could describe.
00:25:38The wind that swept across the hills sounded like an ancient whisper,
00:25:43almost as if creation itself had paused to listen to what was about to happen.
00:25:49Then Jesus spoke, and each syllable vibrated as if it carried the weight of entire ages,
00:25:56as if the whole heaven breathed with Him.
00:26:06All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
00:26:11Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.
00:26:25The words struck their hearts like arrows of pure light.
00:26:30Some disciples closed their eyes, as if trying to engrave that voice forever within their souls.
00:26:37Others looked around, imagining the impossible.
00:26:40People, distant peoples hearing that message, cities that did not yet exist being transformed by it.
00:26:48It was as if the horizon had suddenly widened.
00:26:52Jesus continued,
00:27:02The impact of those words seemed to make the very air tremble.
00:27:07On that tranquil hillside, the mission was born.
00:27:12Not as a simple command, but as a fire spreading through dry straw.
00:27:18An irresistible calling, greater than all others, greater than time itself.
00:27:24But something was still missing.
00:27:27Before departing, with the serenity of one who masters both life and eternity, Jesus said,
00:27:34Remain in Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.
00:27:42The disciples looked at each other.
00:27:44They did not fully understand what was to come, but they trusted.
00:27:49They trusted because the one who spoke had conquered death.
00:27:53And then, it happened.
00:27:57Jesus was taken up.
00:27:59First, gently, his feet leaving the ground as if gravity had lost its hold on him.
00:28:05Then, a growing light surrounded him.
00:28:08Warm, vibrant, impossible to gaze at for long.
00:28:13Finally, a glorious cloud descended and enveloped him,
00:28:17hiding him from their eyes as if heaven were reclaiming its king.
00:28:22The disciples stood motionless, their hearts torn between admiration and burning longing.
00:28:29The silence that followed was so profound that the sound of their own breathing seemed to echo.
00:28:37Then, two men appeared beside them, dressed in resplendent white robes,
00:28:42as if they had emerged from within the cloud itself.
00:28:45Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven?
00:28:48This same Jesus who was taken up from among you will come in the same way you saw him go
00:28:53into heaven.
00:28:53That message burned into their hearts.
00:28:56He had gone, but he would return.
00:29:01A double promise, eternal.
00:29:05The walk back to Jerusalem was slow, almost solemn.
00:29:10No one dared to utter a word.
00:29:13Each step in the dust seemed to mark the beginning of a completely new chapter in the universe.
00:29:18The world had changed, and so had they.
00:29:23When they arrived, they went up to the upper room.
00:29:27Men and women, about 120, gathered as one flame, praying, weeping, waiting.
00:29:35Time seemed suspended there.
00:29:38No one knew how long they would stay, but they knew exactly who they were waiting for.
00:29:44Days passed.
00:29:46Outside, Jerusalem pulsed.
00:29:48It was Pentecost.
00:29:50Pilgrims crowded the streets.
00:29:52Vendors shouted.
00:29:54Different languages mingled like converging rivers.
00:29:57Cultures met and clashed, but no one, absolutely no one,
00:30:02imagined that they were about to witness the birth of something eternal.
00:30:07On the 50th day, when the morning still lay silently over Jerusalem, the sky roared.
00:30:14It was not a distant thunderclap, nor the common breath of an east wind.
00:30:19It was something different.
00:30:21Something that seemed not to come from outside, but from within.
00:30:27An invisible pulse, as if the sky itself were breathing into the earth.
00:30:32Then, suddenly, a sound erupted.
00:30:35A roar like that of a raging storm about to shatter mountains.
00:30:40The noise filled the entire house where they were gathered.
00:30:43There were no cracks or corners that escaped that wind, that did not stir dust, but stirred souls.
00:30:51The walls vibrated as if responding to an ancient call.
00:30:55The air writhed, alive, laden with something that no human word could name.
00:31:01And then, they appeared.
00:31:05Flames.
00:31:06But not ordinary flames.
00:31:08They didn't consume.
00:31:10They didn't wound.
00:31:11They didn't destroy.
00:31:12They were living lights, tongues of fire that descended like small crowns upon each of them.
00:31:19The heat that coursed through their bodies didn't burn their skin.
00:31:23It burned away their fear.
00:31:25Their hearts raced as if they were about to burst from their chests to release something sacred.
00:31:32And then it happened.
00:31:34Words began to flow in an irresistible torrent.
00:31:38They weren't learned words.
00:31:40They were languages they had never even heard.
00:31:42Their breath became prayer.
00:31:45Their voices became prophecy.
00:31:47The upper room was too small to contain such power.
00:31:51Each disciple found himself seized by a force that seemed to unite heaven and earth within him.
00:31:58They emerged from the upper room transformed.
00:32:00What had been hesitation had become courage.
00:32:04What had been fear had become boldness.
00:32:08Those who had hidden now walked like liberated lions, like bearers of a flame that would never be extinguished.
00:32:16The crowd celebrating the feast gathered in confusion, drawn by the sound, the shouts, the inexplicable intensity.
00:32:27Parthians, Medes, Elamites!
00:32:30Lies!
00:32:31We have all heard the wonders of God!
00:32:35Some were amazed, but others mocked.
00:32:39It was then that Peter, the same man who had denied the master three times, the same one who had
00:32:45carried enough guilt to silence any leader, stood up.
00:32:50But his voice did not tremble.
00:32:52His eyes burned with the same flame that had rested upon his head.
00:33:00Jewish men, listen to my words.
00:33:03These men are not drunk, for it is only the third hour of the day.
00:33:08And this, this is what the prophet Joel said.
00:33:13The crowd fell silent.
00:33:15A silence so profound that even the wind seemed to wait.
00:33:21Peter spoke as if another voice spoke through him.
00:33:25He opened the scriptures before the people, expounded God's plan from ancient times, revealed the crucified and resurrected Messiah with
00:33:36the conviction of one who had seen death bow before life.
00:33:42Each phrase fell like a hammer on stone, breaking the hardness of hearts.
00:33:48This Jesus whom you crucified, God made him Lord and Christ.
00:34:00The impact was immediate.
00:34:02Many felt their hearts torn apart by a truth impossible to ignore.
00:34:17Peter responded, not with accusation, but with passion and hope.
00:34:24Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and
00:34:30you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
00:34:32And on that day, about 3,000 souls were converted.
00:34:383,000 lives transformed.
00:34:423,000 stories rewritten.
00:34:463,000 flames lit that would spread like wildfire in an open field.
00:34:53The church was born.
00:34:58Not in palaces, not in marble temples, but in the streets, in broken hearts amidst the heavenly fire.
00:35:08And so the disciples began to live as brothers.
00:35:12They shared bread.
00:35:14They prayed together.
00:35:16They sold their possessions to provide for the needy.
00:35:20The love between them grew like a tree planted beside rivers that never dry up.
00:35:27The mission had begun.
00:35:30Love became the visible mark of an invisible people.
00:35:35A people not defined by walls, traditions, or thrones, but by a fire that burned within them.
00:35:44And where this love blossomed, miracles began to spring forth like rivers in dry land.
00:35:53Peter and John walked up the steps leading to the temple.
00:35:57It was prayer time, and the sun shimmered on the ancient stones, illuminating pilgrims, merchants, and priests passing through the
00:36:07courtyard.
00:36:08At the gate called beautiful, as on so many other days, lay a man lame from birth.
00:36:16He had been placed there that morning and remained stretched out, offering his trembling hand in search of alms to
00:36:24ensure his survival.
00:36:26But that day, something different hung in the air.
00:36:31Something he could never have imagined was about to happen.
00:36:35Peter stopped before him and gazed at him with a firmness that made the man's heart race.
00:36:42Look at us.
00:36:44The lame man raised his face, accustomed to seeing pity in the eyes of others.
00:36:50He expected a few coins, perhaps enough for a piece of bread.
00:36:55But Peter's gaze carried no pity.
00:36:58It carried authority.
00:37:01I have neither silver nor gold, but what I have, I give to you.
00:37:13In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise and walk.
00:37:21Peter extended his hand.
00:37:24The man took it, without knowing exactly why.
00:37:28And in that instant, something coursed through his bones.
00:37:33Like fire.
00:37:35Like light.
00:37:37Like life.
00:37:38He felt his legs tremble, then stiffen, then become firm as if they had never been weak.
00:37:48In an almost involuntary movement, he stood up.
00:37:51Then, like a child discovering his own body, he jumped.
00:37:57He jumped again, and again.
00:38:01He danced before everyone, laughing, crying, praising God, while the crowd gathered, astonished by the miracle.
00:38:11A public sign, irrefutable, impossible to hide.
00:38:17The news spread like wildfire.
00:38:21Crowds rushed to see the man everyone knew, who now walked with long strides, with unrestrained joy.
00:38:29And although the priests tried to silence the apostles, the flame was indomitable.
00:38:37We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.
00:38:45The light shone in the streets, and the darkness began to stir.
00:38:51The church flourished.
00:38:53It grew in number, in power, in faith.
00:38:57Meetings multiplied in homes.
00:39:00Prayers echoed through the alleys of Jerusalem.
00:39:04But the more the people grew, the heavier the gazes became.
00:39:09Cold gazes.
00:39:11Threatening gazes.
00:39:14Gazes that feared losing authority.
00:39:17In the corridors of the temple, and in the chambers of the Sanhedrin,
00:39:22whispers turned into plans.
00:39:24The religious leadership feared seeing its control slip through its fingers.
00:39:31And among them was a name that was beginning to be feared.
00:39:35Saul of Tarsus.
00:39:38A brilliant, disciplined young Pharisee, sharp as a blade.
00:39:43Zeal in his eyes, authority in his voice, torment in his heart.
00:39:49He knew the law better than many teachers.
00:39:53And he hated the name of Jesus with religious fervor.
00:40:00For Saul, that movement was not spiritual inspiration.
00:40:04It was heresy.
00:40:06A threat that needed to be crushed before it spread like a plague.
00:40:14But faith did not remain silent.
00:40:19It did not hide.
00:40:23It did not bow to fear.
00:40:27The Holy Spirit moved hearts like wind among ancient olive trees.
00:40:33Streets, houses, and squares echoed the name of the crucified one.
00:40:38And this further inflamed the fury of the opponents.
00:40:43It was in the midst of this growing tension that the first blood was shed.
00:40:49Stephen, young, wise, full of the spirit, with a face shining like that of an angel,
00:40:56stood up before the religious leaders with uncommon boldness.
00:41:00His words were sharp as blades, hammers that shattered hardened rocks.
00:41:06That was the last straw.
00:41:10They covered their ears, shouted like a maddened mob, and rushed upon him like a human storm.
00:41:18They dragged him out of the city, to the place where the quarries echoed with violence.
00:41:27And there, under a hail of stones hurled with hatred, Stephen raised his voice, still luminous.
00:41:37Lord, do not hold this sin against them.
00:41:41And then he dined.
00:41:44Saul was there, not with blood on his hands, but with a heart satisfied with the crime.
00:41:51He guarded the cloaks of the murderers.
00:41:53He approved of every blow, every cry, every stone.
00:42:00Stephen's martyrdom did not stop the advance.
00:42:03On the contrary, it ignited it.
00:42:07The persecution exploded like a sudden storm.
00:42:14Doors were broken down in the middle of the night.
00:42:19Brothers were dragged through the streets of Jerusalem, while neighbors watched in silence,
00:42:25unable to comprehend the fury that had grown against that peaceful people.
00:42:30Cries echoed through the alleys.
00:42:33Families were separated.
00:42:36The name of Jesus, once whispered with reverence, had now become a risk that could cost a life.
00:42:54But what the enemy planned as dispersion, God transformed into expansion.
00:43:01Philip went to Samaria, a land marked by ancient rivalries, but soil that would now open up to the impossible.
00:43:09He preached boldly.
00:43:11He laid hands on the sick.
00:43:14He freed captives whose cries were silenced by the power that seized them.
00:43:19Smiles appeared where fear once reigned.
00:43:23The entire city seemed to breathe hope for the first time in years.
00:43:28And on a deserted road, where the heat trembled on the sand, an Ethiopian eunuch read the scriptures inside his
00:43:36luxurious chariot.
00:43:38Providence led him to Philip.
00:43:41Questions arose, faith blossomed, and, finding water in the middle of the desert, they descended together.
00:43:48The Ethiopian emerged from the waters a new man, and returned to his land carrying the gospel with him, inaugurating
00:43:59a current that, centuries later, would reach thousands.
00:44:05The message crossed borders that empires dared not challenge.
00:44:10Meanwhile, Saul of Tarsus, more inflamed than ever, marched towards Damascus.
00:44:17The arrest warrants in his hands were more than just permissions.
00:44:21They were weapons.
00:44:22His heart burned with the desire to destroy that new path.
00:44:27For him, it wasn't just a mission.
00:44:30It was a crusade.
00:44:32It was duty.
00:44:33It was zeal for the law.
00:44:36But in the middle of the road, heaven intercepted him.
00:44:40A light brighter than the sun, purer, more absolute, fell upon him.
00:44:47Saul was brought down as if his pride had been uprooted.
00:44:51There was no resistance.
00:44:53There was no argument.
00:44:55Only glory.
00:44:58Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?
00:45:04The voice resonated not only in his ears, it resonated in his gut, in his soul, in every memory, in
00:45:14every hidden wound.
00:45:16Trembling, Saul stammered,
00:45:18Who are you, Lord?
00:45:21The answer came like thunder wrapped in mercy.
00:45:26I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
00:45:30The light disappeared, the vision too, the arrogance likewise.
00:45:36Blind, vulnerable, the man who terrorized multitudes now depended on the hands of others to walk.
00:45:46He was led to Damascus, where he remained for days immersed in silence, fasting, and repentance.
00:45:54His mind raced, his heart bled, his soul crumbled.
00:45:59But God was already preparing the other piece of the plan.
00:46:04On the other side of the city, Ananias, a humble disciple, but attentive to the spirit, received a divine order.
00:46:12Fear made him tremble, Saul's reputation echoed throughout the region.
00:46:18But the voice of God spoke louder than fear.
00:46:22Ananias entered the house where Saul remained seated, motionless like an exile within his own body.
00:46:29He approached.
00:46:31He took a deep breath, and he murmured the words that would break down the last inner wall.
00:46:39Saul, brother, the Lord has sent me.
00:46:44As he laid his hands on Saul's head, something like scales fell from his eyes.
00:46:50His sight returned.
00:46:52But not only his sight.
00:46:54His soul returned.
00:46:56His life returned.
00:46:58His mission returned.
00:47:00Saul was baptized.
00:47:02He was fed.
00:47:03He was transformed.
00:47:06A few days later, the man who had persecuted the faith now proclaimed it with supernatural boldness.
00:47:14Jesus is, is the Son of God.
00:47:22Amazement gripped the city.
00:47:25Religious leaders were stunned.
00:47:27The people were divided.
00:47:29The enemies widened their eyes, feeling a new fear.
00:47:34For Saul's name was now a threat against the oppressors, not against the persecuted.
00:47:40The persecutor was beginning to become the greatest proclaimer.
00:47:45But he was no longer safe.
00:47:47His former allies, unable to accept such a turnaround, began to conspire.
00:47:54The streets became traps.
00:47:56The alleys, hiding places for watchful eyes.
00:48:00Dark whispers filled the air.
00:48:03Saul must die.
00:48:05Until, on a silent night, his brothers led him to the city wall.
00:48:13A basket was improvised.
00:48:15Rough ropes, trembling hands, not from fear, but from caution.
00:48:21Saul got into the basket.
00:48:23Saul got into the basket.
00:48:23He looked up.
00:48:24He saw above him faces that, days before, would have feared his presence, and now risked their own lives to
00:48:34save him.
00:48:40And when his feet touched the ground outside, his old life was behind him, his new mission was just beginning.
00:48:52But in Jerusalem, the reception was anything but warm.
00:48:56The disciples were still suspicious.
00:48:59The rumors about the persecutor were too recent.
00:49:03Doors opened just enough to let the light through.
00:49:07Cautious glances followed him.
00:49:09Until Barnabas, a man of generous heart, gentle voice, and eyes attentive to the movement of God, stood beside him.
00:49:18He spoke in his favor.
00:49:20He witnessed his transformation.
00:49:23He vouched for the truth of his conversion.
00:49:27And so, little by little, the man once feared was welcomed as a brother.
00:49:35Meanwhile, the pursuit not only continued.
00:49:38It intensified like a storm that finds new strength as it advances.
00:49:43Fear spread through the streets of Jerusalem.
00:49:46Entire families locked their doors.
00:49:50Rumors ran from house to house.
00:49:52Soldiers marched hastily.
00:49:55Religious leaders conspired in secret.
00:49:57And every corner seemed to hold a new danger.
00:50:01The force of darkness stirred like a raging sea, trying to swallow the small flame that grew among the disciples.
00:50:08But nothing, absolutely nothing, could stop what had been released from on high.
00:50:17The hand of heaven had touched the earth and no human, political, or spiritual power would be able to undo
00:50:25it.
00:50:25Because where there was blood, life arose.
00:50:30Where there was prison, praise was born.
00:50:35Where there was a cross, salvation flourished.
00:50:39The faith they tried to crush multiplied like seeds scattered to the wind.
00:50:50And then came the call.
00:50:53In Antioch, a meeting point of nations, commerce, and cultures, the church gathered in fasting and prayer.
00:51:01The atmosphere was heavy, as if the air were about to burst.
00:51:05Low voices, tears, supplications.
00:51:09And suddenly, in the midst of that convergence of surrendered souls,
00:51:13the Spirit spoke with a clarity that no human ear would dare doubt.
00:51:20Set apart Barnabas and Paul for the work.
00:51:24The order was simple, yet immense.
00:51:28And they obeyed.
00:51:29They departed taking only what was necessary, trusting that the God who called was also the God who sent.
00:51:38And with each of their steps, the axis of the world began to turn in another direction.
00:51:47Cyprus, Pisidia, Lystra, Iconium.
00:51:51Four names, four worlds.
00:51:55Pagan cities, ancient synagogues, dusty roads, arid mountains, markets full of foreign voices.
00:52:03But wherever they went, there were thirsty hearts.
00:52:08In every city, miracles that made crowds trembled.
00:52:14In every city, opposition that tried to silence the message.
00:52:19In every city, transformation that no magistrate could deny.
00:52:25In Lystra, when they healed a man crippled from birth, the people went mad.
00:52:30They thought the gods had descended to earth.
00:52:34Barnabas was called Zeus, Paul Hermes.
00:52:38They brought wreaths of flowers, oxen for sacrifice.
00:52:42But the apostles tore their clothes, refusing all glory.
00:52:48The turnaround was as quick as lightning.
00:52:51The crowd changed its enthusiasm to fury, and Paul was stoned.
00:52:56His body lay motionless, covered in dust and blood.
00:53:00Many said, He is dead.
00:53:03But when the disciples approached him, he stood up.
00:53:07He stood up as one who knows that death does not have the final word.
00:53:12Not out of pride, not out of stubbornness, but because the mission was greater than the pain.
00:53:19And the message no longer belonged only to the children of Israel.
00:53:24The Gentiles heard.
00:53:26The Gentiles believed.
00:53:29The Gentiles celebrated the truth that set them free.
00:53:32The kingdom of God was breaking through frontiers that no Roman army, however powerful, had ever crossed.
00:53:42During the travels, a dilemma arose that could divide the newborn faith.
00:53:47Should the new converts follow the entire law of Moses?
00:53:53The Jerusalem council met.
00:53:55Peter spoke.
00:53:57James pondered.
00:53:59Paul testified.
00:54:00And the Spirit guided every word, leading to a decision that would echo for centuries.
00:54:08Salvation is not by tradition.
00:54:10It is not by rituals.
00:54:12It is not by lineage or merit.
00:54:16It is by faith.
00:54:18Only by faith.
00:54:21With this, the way opened like a wide door before the peoples of the world.
00:54:27And Paul continued his journey, inflamed by purpose.
00:54:32In Philippi, a dark prison became the stage for a miracle.
00:54:37An earthquake opened doors, broke chains, but didn't free criminals.
00:54:44It freed the heart of a jailer and his entire family.
00:54:49In Thessalonica, he was accused of turning the world upside down.
00:54:55And the accusation was true.
00:54:58In Athens, he confronted intellectuals, philosophers, and thinkers who shaped the culture of the entire
00:55:05ancient world.
00:55:07Amidst stone altars and statues of idols, he proclaimed an unknown God, living, personal, resurrected.
00:55:17In Corinth, he raised purity amidst moral decay.
00:55:23In Ephesus, his preaching shook the idol trade, provoking riots that nearly set the entire city ablaze.
00:55:32But none of this diverted him.
00:55:36His final destination was Rome, the heart of the empire, the throne of the Caesars, the political,
00:55:45military, and cultural center of the earth.
00:55:48He didn't arrive as a hero, but as a prisoner.
00:55:54Handcuffed, guarded by soldiers, restricted in movement, but never, ever restricted in voice.
00:56:02From prison, he wrote light.
00:56:06Words that would traverse centuries.
00:56:09Letters that would shape theologies, churches, empires.
00:56:14Messages that would make kings tremble and slaves dream.
00:56:20And at the end of his career, he left a testimony that echoes to this day.
00:56:27I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
00:56:35Rome tried to silence him.
00:56:38It tried to silence the gospel with blades, decrees, and dungeons.
00:56:43In the end, it beheaded him.
00:56:47But it did not extinguish his voice.
00:56:50Because the voice that spoke in him came from the Eternal.
00:57:08Beside him, Peter also sealed his faith with blood.
00:57:13He asked to be crucified upside down, refusing the honor of dying like his master.
00:57:32Others came after.
00:57:34Other martyrs.
00:57:35Other unseen heroes whom the world would not be worthy of knowing.
00:57:40But faith did not retreat.
00:57:44It advanced like a river in flood season.
00:57:48It spread through the fields, the alleys, the palaces.
00:57:52It transformed Roman soldiers, slaves, women, orphans, widows, princes.
00:58:01Have mercy on my soul.
00:58:04Why have you forsaken us?
00:58:07Guide us through the darkness.
00:58:09The catacombs became altars.
00:58:21The Colosseum, a stage for testimonies that still echo in the wind.
00:58:28And the cross, once a symbol of shame, now shown as a symbol of glory.
00:58:37The revolution of the kingdom did not happen with swords,
00:58:41not with swords, but with love.
00:58:50Not with armies, but with witnesses.
00:59:00Not with earthly kings, but with the king of kings.
00:59:29And the world was never, never, never the same.
00:59:40The influen was never, never, never the same.
