00:23It's such an exciting time
00:25and you know why it's so exciting
00:27is because we're actually
00:29changing Fable 3
00:30we're moving more towards
00:33the action-adventure and
00:34we're diminishing a little bit the RPG
00:37we still love RPGs
00:38we still adore RPGs
00:40but we also love the drama and the excitement
00:43that action-adventure games bring
00:46we've got a completely new
00:49GUI system
00:50I know this sounds boring
00:51but those two-dimensional lists that role-playing games have
00:55I hate
00:56the GUI's new for Fable 3
00:57in that it's going to be
01:003D and interactive
01:01in a very 3D environment
01:03so you'll be able to walk through the GUI
01:05and treat it as if it's just another part of a Fable world
01:11Here's a level that's had a little bit of polish put into it
01:13with nice buildings
01:15which pop up to show you that you can have a little look at them
01:28I want dressing rooms where I can change my clothes
01:31I want armouries where I can craft my weapons
01:34I want war rooms where I can strategise
01:36You'll be able to walk into, for example, a clothing room
01:39you'll see statues dressed up with all the clothing that you've collected
01:43so you can see at a glance whether you think the trousers all look good on you
01:46that kind of thing
01:47and you can see here we've got some outfits that we've collected during our time in the game
01:52you'll be able to scroll through your different outfits to see what you've collected
01:55and then just in real time I can just have a quick run around and see if I like it
02:01One of the things about Fable is the humour
02:03People have said, oh, it's a British humour, it's a bit like Monty Python
02:08so we were inspired by that
02:09and so we went out there and we got the most iconic Monty Python character ever
02:15John Cleese is one of the major players in Fable 3
02:20Okay, now I've got some strange man in here who's moving around
02:27I play Jasper, who is the butler at the royal palace
02:32and he was originally a butler to the king who's gone all wrong, the naughty one
02:37and now he is the great and faithful and loyal attendant
02:43on the young fella who's going to become the hero
02:47or the young girl who's going to become the heroine
02:49The bottom half of your chicken suit has arrived and I've prepared it for you
02:54Yes, this is exactly the sort of future I imagined for myself when I got into Buckley
02:59He's a little form one because he's an old-fashioned British-style battler
03:03but the warmth and the emotional identification with the heroine is very strong
03:10Ah, new mask! You'd be completely anonymous wearing this on your face
03:14Were it anywhere else on your person, I expect you would achieve exactly the opposite effect
03:19Your butler will be very unique to you, he's recording more lines than almost anyone else in the cast because
03:25of that
03:26After that you are to continue your combat training with Sir Walter
03:30You start Fable 3, it's kind of like you started Fable 1 and Fable 2
03:35You start fairly powerless and what you've got to do is you've got to bring together followers
03:40to overthrow this tyrant king
03:45On your journey to overthrowing that king, you're going to make people promises
03:51And I love the relevance to today
03:53Because what you'll find is the promises you make are going to have to be fulfilled
03:58But just like presidents and prime ministers in today's world, it's so hard to keep those promises
04:04The trouble with most leaders is that ultimately they just want to be in charge
04:09And they may cover it up under the feeling that they want to do good or make these changes
04:15But basically they're just like being top dog
04:17And then about halfway through the game, you become king or queen
04:22You rule Albion
04:24It's that feeling of power, of dominance
04:27You know, we've all asked ourselves this question
04:29Well, if I was in control, I would change this
04:32Well, now with Fable 3, you had that choice
04:38As I play through Fable, sure enough, the experience is what the Fable fans will love, absolutely
04:44But also, there's an element of uniqueness here, which I feel lots more people enjoy
04:50There's drama, there's emotion, there's a feeling of power, there's excitement
04:55And I think we are really learning to blend all that stuff together
04:59And deliver an experience in Fable 3
05:02That really hasn't been seen before
05:04And so you have gathered every last piece of the ladies' pyjamas
05:08Gosh, that would make an excellent closing line for a novel, wouldn't it?
05:12A great cliffhanger
05:16That's why I think we are really learning to be able to be able to be able to be able
05:23to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be
05:23able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to
05:23be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able
05:23to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be
05:23able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to
05:23be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able
05:23to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be
05:23able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to
05:23be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able
05:23to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be
