A heated altercation broke out at a cinema hall in Lucknow after a man attempted to purchase tickets for his minor son to watch the film Dhurandhar 2.

According to reports, theatre staff refused entry to the child, citing age restrictions based on the film’s certification. This led to an argument between the father and cinema employees, with voices raised and the situation drawing the attention of other moviegoers.

Witnesses said the dispute escalated briefly before cinema management reiterated that they were bound to enforce certification rules and could not permit minors to attend the screening.

Security personnel intervened and managed to defuse the situation without any injuries. Normal operations at the theatre resumed shortly afterwards.

Authorities have not confirmed whether any formal complaint has been filed in connection with the incident.
