00:19Ciao, sono Paolo Vlassi e sono il lead PC engineer di Watch Dogs.
00:24Durante i ultimi anni di sviluppo abbiamo lavorato con NVIDIA
00:28in order to create the most vivid and breathtaking Chicago possible
00:31for the PC version of Watch Dogs.
00:37One of the technologies that allowed us to achieve this level of quality
00:40is an NVIDIA technique called HBAO Plus
00:43which stands for Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion.
00:55HBAO Plus improves upon existing EO techniques
00:58to add richer, more detailed and realistic shadows
01:01around objects that occlude rays of light.
01:05HBAO Plus is faster, more efficient
01:07and significantly better compared to previous techniques.
01:23To address smaller details
01:24and increase the visual quality of Watch Dogs
01:26we also used NVIDIA's TXAA technology.
01:31TXAA is a new cinematic style anti-aliasing technique
01:34designed specifically to reduce temporal aliasing
01:36like crawling and flickering
01:37that you may sometimes see in motion when playing a game.
01:42While there is movement on the screen
01:44TXAA will reduce the visual noise of flickering across game elements
01:48like fences, cables, grass or trees.
01:54These exclusive technologies are one of the many tools
01:57that allowed us to create an immersive and beautiful version of Watch Dogs.
02:04By working with NVIDIA
02:05we really want to make sure PC gamers will be able to enjoy and explore
02:09the most realistic and visually stunning world environment ever created.
02:13The Windy City like you've never seen it before.
02:17We hope you enjoyed this video.
02:19See you in Chicago on May 27th.
