Continua ad evolversi Sir, You Are Being Hunted, il particolare gioco in soggettiva attualmente in fase alpha ma già giocabile su PC.
L'aggiornamento di febbraio si preannuncia piuttosto sostanzioso, come dimostra il videodiario rilasciato in queste ore, contenendo nuovi elementi di gioco e aggiustamenti vari. Big Robot spiega, nel video in questione, i miglioramenti applicati in particolare all'intelligenza artificiale e l'aggiunta di nuovi personaggi che vanno a complicare e arricchire le meccaniche di gioco.
L'intelligenza artificiale, sia in combattimento che per quanto riguarda le routine di spostamento e "scoperta", aumentano il livello di sfida rendendo più difficile il mantenimento delle coperture per il giocatore. Particolare, inoltre, l'aggiunta del "Landowner", uno dei nuovi NPC che popoleranno con questo update il mondo di gioco.

00:00Hello Internet, welcome to the February update for Sir You're Being Hunted.
00:04This update makes a lot of changes to robot AI and robot movement, altering things like
00:08pathing, how they behave in combat, all kinds of stuff that will really change the feel
00:12of the game.
00:13And a lot of what we've done is about feel this time, so we'll be really interested to
00:18hear the kind of feedback that you guys are going to give us on what's changed and how
00:23that changes your game, your perception of what's going on with the robots interacting
00:28and fighting, how stealth feels now, all that kind of stuff has changed in this update and
00:34been completely rebalanced, so let us know how that feels.
00:37One thing I wanted to quickly flag up in this video actually is something that came up in
00:41a previous patch, which was these indicators on the AI.
00:45This provides a UI way of marking where enemies are and lets you know what sort of state they're
00:50in.
00:51Obviously it's completely optional, it's off by default, but for people who want a bit more
00:54visual signposting in the world, well that's there and you can see how it works in this
01:00video.
01:02We've also made changes to a whole bunch of items across a number of patches.
01:07For example the train in this patch, if you right click now you get a secondary function
01:11which allows you not to just place it on a track but to send it off as a moving distraction,
01:16which can be useful.
01:19Now something that we brought in from head tracking also has ramifications in this patch,
01:23which is that we've implemented an ALT look.
01:26If you hold down ALT now you can use the mouse to look around while still moving in the direction
01:31you're heading.
01:32That provides a good ability to glance around.
01:35So there are lots of changes like that in this patch and we're really interested to hear
01:39on the forums what you make of those and how the game feels to you now that it's getting
01:43close to completion.
01:44And of course there is one other addition.
