00:02I'm Zach Eastep.
00:04We've got some fantastic updates for you today.
00:15When is voice chat coming?
00:18Voice chat's actually out right now on PC with 172 that came out this Wednesday.
00:24If you're playing on console, we have it coming soon for you guys.
00:28But you can continue to use party chat now with your friends.
00:31When will you add more weapons to Battle Royale?
00:36So we think we have a huge opportunity to add a lot of weapons to Battle Royale.
00:42We're going to pick the ones that we feel fit for core gameplay.
00:46And as we're able to balance them into the mix, that's when we'll start introducing them.
00:50We also think there's a huge opportunity for introducing more consumables.
00:54This is the area that's probably in biggest need of improvement.
00:58One of the prototypes we're working with right now is a potion that allows you to heal above 75 health
01:04and will give you some shield as well.
01:08We're toying with making that a benefit over time.
01:12So there's a risk associated with using it.
01:14Are there any more changes coming to weapon accuracy?
01:19So good news is here that we're prototyping some changes to the assault rifles.
01:23We think these are the weapons that have the biggest, the most concerns right now.
01:28And so some of the prototypes we're looking at include reducing inaccuracy or making it more accurate while you're moving
01:36and firing.
01:36And if we like those changes, which so far they're looking pretty good, we'll be rolling that out next week.
01:44In addition to that, we're also looking at some longer-term prototypes.
01:49These include reducing the overall accuracy spread but increasing recoil so that players have to compensate for holding down the
01:59trigger.
02:00In addition, we're also prototyping some projectile-based weapons.
02:05So instead of using hitscan, all of our weapons would use projectiles.
02:10This is a bit longer term of a prototype because of some of the technical implementations.
02:15And if we feel like either of these changes positively benefit gameplay for all of our players, we're absolutely going
02:23to roll them out.
02:24One other note on here is this is an ongoing effort to make combat feel better.
02:28And we're not trying to take away the ability for people to build cover or anything.
02:31So we still want people to be able to turn around and react to things.
02:33Yeah, absolutely.
02:36What did you do to scopes?
02:40We received feedback that players wanted to be able to adjust scope sensitivity for each of their rifles.
02:46We worked on getting that out to you guys as fast as possible.
02:50We don't think the defaults are perfect there.
02:51We're going to keep iterating on that.
02:53For those that do want to make adjustments in that space right now, hop into the settings and you can
02:58adjust it to exactly what you want it to be right now.
03:02What's next?
03:05Account progression is coming.
03:07Character customization is also coming.
03:09Those two are going to be very closely integrated.
03:12We've also got some additional just quality of life features that are coming.
03:17We've got some aim assist fixes that are coming.
03:20We feel your frustrations.
03:21That's going to be improved.
03:23We're prototyping some control alternatives for consoles, making it a little bit faster to do various actions.
03:31The SMG is something we've heard a lot of feedback about.
03:34And we want to improve its overall viability so that it's picked up a little more often.
03:41We're also looking at jump pads and how we can get a little bit more flavor out of them.
03:45We've got some really exciting ideas.
03:47We're not quite ready to share the details on.
03:50We've talked a little bit about getting a visible grenade arc so you can see where your grenades are going
03:56to go.
03:57I know I always end up throwing it right and hitting the middle of a window and it bounces right
04:01back in my face.
04:02And then ammo, we're calling ammo vacuum, which allows you to walk over, I guess not just ammo, but anything
04:10that doesn't take inventory space.
04:11If you walk over it, you'll automatically pick it up.
04:13Yeah, it's just a less cumbersome way of picking up items, right?
04:16Yeah, and in our playtest, it's been fantastic.
