03:38He looks like the informant we're looking for
03:40But we need to get a little closer so we can confirm his face
04:01Alright, Miller's confirmed our target
04:02So let's grab him using close quarters combat or CQC to interrogate him and get the info that we need
04:14Sped it out
04:56edroid information updated
04:59and we should hide him
05:00otherwise it'll be a problem if other enemies
05:02find him and the information
05:04that he gave us has now been updated
05:06in your terminal so we can look here
05:10and see the location
05:13once you have the location
05:14can place markers on your map. Once marked you'll be able to check that point from within the game screen.
05:18You'll see the icon on the screen here.
05:24So let's move ahead and note that the informant's location has been adjusted for this presentation. In the actual game
05:30he'll be harder to find. So we'll leave that up to the players.
05:47We'll take cover, and use CQC to stealthily take this guy out from behind an obstacle.
06:07One other thing you can do is when enemies are close together you can use consecutive CQC,
06:12which some people may remember from Peace Walker, to take enemies out one after another.
06:46And there it is, our target. As you can see, a cassette tape made by Sony.
06:53Now we're going to call the chopper and get picked up. Ideally you should select the safe zone for calling
06:59the chopper, but for the purposes of today's demo, we'll go ahead and call it into a high-risk location.
07:04Okay, we were spotted. But notice that when spotted for the first time, the action does slow down a little
07:09to give you time to respawn.
07:10This is called reflex mode. Hardcore players can squish this off in the options.
07:18Let's take this sniper rifle and see if we can clear out some enemies from the roof.
07:43Alright, too many enemies. We've got to get out of here. Our chopper is coming, so let's see if we
07:46can make a run for it.
07:54All-fire teams in the same page!
07:57All-fire teams in the same page!
08:04This is Wawful. On station at LZ.
08:09No, no, no, no, no.
08:41Another cool new CQC move you have this time is the ability to steal weapons from enemies
08:45and quickly use it against them in one swift move.
08:49Like so.
09:02And it looks like our chopper is taking fire, so let's go and provide some cover.
09:07Oh, we are too late.
09:09Okay, it looks like our chopper is going down.
09:18And unfortunately, we lost our chopper, but it's not over yet.
09:22In situations like this, there's often more than one way to complete your mission.
09:25This allows players to experiment with different strategies, adding more depth and variety to the gameplay.
09:30In this particular case, all we need to do is escape from the base with the tape.
09:34So let's look for another way out.
09:42All right, when I'm in the open like this, you can go into a prone position,
09:45which makes it harder for enemies to target you.
09:47You can also roll around to avoid fire.
10:16Okay, it looks like we have an armored vehicle approaching.
10:19here, which means trouble.
10:20There's no way we can take them out with the equipment that we have.
10:23So we'll just have to figure out a way to escape.
10:25Of course, if we had a stronger weapon, we could destroy it.
10:28But right now, we'll have to find a different way.
10:30So let's make our way to the cliff here while paying attention to the armored vehicle.
10:35You can see Snake can invade very quickly.
10:37and you can use dash in jumping this time.
10:50So we'll stop here, set some C4 and wait for the vehicle to approach.
11:00All right, there we go.
11:08Lucky for us, there's an unattended vehicle here.
11:12So let's see if we can use it to escape the base.
11:18Continue out of the mission area to complete the mission.
11:26Be careful here.
11:27If the car does take too much damage, it can be destroyed.
11:30We'll just have to swerve and make sure we don't get hit.
11:34Use various obstacles for cover.
11:59All right, we escaped the base.
12:01Mission complete.
12:04All right, we escaped the base.
12:11I'm impressed, Snake.
12:12Where'd you learn to ramp a car like that?
12:14Those were some smooth moves down there.
12:17Then again, I'd expect nothing less.
12:19In any case, let's get to analyzing the data.
12:22Results should be ready by the time we launch.
12:25Look forward to it.
12:27All right, and that concludes today's presentation.
12:29Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes is planned for release in Spring 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4
12:35prior to Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain.
