00:00This is Lukas Oshven from Wolfire Games.
00:02In this video I'll show the changes for Overgrowth Alpha 212, which you can try if you've preordered.
00:08We hired 2 more programmers to work on the game, they are Toro and Domas from Alternative
00:14Games in Finland.
00:15That brings us up to 5 programmers on the team, which should speed up development considerably.
00:21Mark and Josh are working on levels for the upcoming Arena mode.
00:25We're starting out with 3 levels, the Magma Arena, Cave Arena and Waterfall Arena.
00:31They are all works in progress and will be improved over coming alphas.
00:36Max is making good progress behind the scenes on our automated build system.
00:40He also made the game automatically generate navigation meshes for levels when they are
00:44loaded.
00:45This increases initial load times a bit, but ensures that the AI can navigate levels properly.
00:51Steve designed the hands for each of the races and did a number of fur studies to further
00:56define the look of each race.
00:58His blog post about character design will be posted sometime next week.
01:03That's it for this video.
01:04If you'd like to preorder and try the alpha for yourself, and get a free copy of Receiver
01:09and Lowlight Combat, you can do that at wolffire.com slash preorder.
01:14If you'd like to hear about the development news as soon as it happens, you can follow us
