00:00did you see the nbc news report about the zoom call they got their hands on this zoom call
00:05recording between the secret lives of mormon wives cast and execs at disney including rob
00:11mills the women were expressing their concerns about taylor's behavior and how it could impact
00:15the show the future of the show and the future of their careers and they were trying to explain to
00:19him well there's this and there's that and there's this video and she's done this and she's done that
00:25and rob did not want to hear it he said this is not me putting my head in the sand
00:31according to
00:32this call that nbc news got their hands on but it's not me you know i don't want to inquire
00:38because i
00:38don't know what that does so he did not want to know about the i guess the severity of how
00:45toxic and
00:47yeah how volatile she can be ahead of unscripted programming to say that to a bunch of reality
00:52starts who get paid to overshare so at the meeting one cast member we don't know which cast member
00:57asked robert mills if he's aware that she's hurt a child now she says she's never hurt a child in
01:03the
01:03video that came out from 2023 she did throw a chair and it did hit the kid and i don't
01:08i do not believe
01:09that was intentional but anyways also awful total totally so this cast member asked robert if she
01:15if he's aware that she's hurt a child and he said i don't think for us getting into that is
01:18right
01:19he also said he stressed that the company is never going to hide anything that is wrong for the sake
01:25of business feels like they were doing just that until they couldn't until the public saw the video
01:31because what we were discussing earlier in the show that's how the secret lives of mormon wives kicked
01:35off that was the reason she was arrested that's the reason she went on probation that like but no
01:41chart like the lesser charges were eventually dropped exactly so it's like you knew who you knew exactly who
01:47you were hiring and who you were hiring is someone with a violent past who seems to be deeply unwell
01:52you should have known with all that documentation and all that knowledge of your your biggest star on
01:59your biggest reality tv show at the time that she was not well equipped to be the bachelorette if i
02:04had been here last week to talk about secret lives i was going to bring up that i feel increasingly
02:08icky watching that show as much as i care about the care either the women who are real people because
02:13they're real people they're not characters i can watch a tawdry weird fiction drama and laughs i know
02:19it's all staged this franchise is really i think i worry exploiting generational trauma sexual trauma
02:28all this stuff because it comes out in the reunions and i i got to a point watching the last
02:32reunion where
02:32i was like every one of these women has been through something horrific and that their behavior is kind
02:38of their coping mechanism in terms to feel better about themselves it makes me feel just really sad
02:44and the fact that the people in charge of these productions are willingly just turning a blind eye
02:50putting their head in the sand right because they want that to make more money or have more viewership
02:55that makes me feel really
02:56i know
02:56you
