00:19And, whew, well, we were going to be recapping the entire fourth season of Mormon Wives,
00:24but we have to recap some of the headlines coming out of Utah,
00:28developing by the minute this week.
00:30Yeah, so Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen,
00:34they went through a lot on this past season of Mormon Wives,
00:37and they continue to go through a lot,
00:39because after Taylor Frankie Paul walked the Oscars red carpet so glamorously,
00:45promoting the new season.
00:46Did the glam bot.
00:47Yeah, did the glam bot, promoting the new season of The Bachelorette,
00:49which premieres very soon.
00:52She, well, she's under investigation,
00:54because she and Dakota have been engaged in some domestic disputes.
01:00I think from, it's like developing so much,
01:03and there's a lot of story, I feel, that's going to be uncovered minute by minute.
01:08It seems they're both, they both called the cops on each other.
01:11Yes.
01:11So it's kind of like, it's like the first rose ceremony, I guess.

01:18But you know what I mean?
01:19This is The Bachelorette.

01:21So that is kind of where we're at.
01:24The details are not great on either party,
01:27but also it's a thing too, which is,
01:29because if you watch, I mean, you watch Mormon Wise if you're watching this,
01:34they are so toxic to one another and they just have both a level of,
01:41I'm not even going to say love,
01:42I'm going to say hatred and obsession with one another,
01:44that they, I think it is a lot of levels of mutual sabotaging,
01:50that I think they are each other's worst enemies and they can't break off.
01:55There's an, it's an addiction between the two of them.
01:57And I'm saying that the thing they're addicted to is each other and the chaos.
02:00And I mean, Taylor opened up a lot this season.
02:03You can tell we learned a lot about how she was raised and where that probably
02:07bleeds into her life.
02:09And I think, well,
02:11I think Dakota maybe doesn't give her the ability to leave him because it
02:17seems he does like to manipulate and control her and kind of sabotage her.
02:21Taylor also makes choices where she allows herself to fall trapped to all of
02:26that and also gets excited from doing it,
02:29which is a terrifying thing to be in.
02:30Like even from this season,
02:31when she made him walk minute by minute about the sex he had on Vanderbilt Villa.
02:36I didn't enjoy it, Taylor.

02:47She did that because she knew it would piss her off,
02:49but then she also said that she kind of got aroused by it.

02:58And the only thing I can hope from this is that there was a wake up call that
03:02they will not be in contact with one another besides to split up custody.
03:09Because there is a child involved that they could come to a resolution.
03:14If for that,
03:16get the necessary psych evaluations that I believe is being asked upon them because
03:20Mormon wives halted production of their current season that they're filming
03:23and that there is a path that they are.
03:27The only way that this would be solved is they're not in each other's orbit,
03:30which is hard when there's a kid that they have to co-parent,
03:32but they're going to have to figure some out.

03:57It's like a really unhealthy cycle.

04:00I need to figure out why I keep choosing people that hurt me.
04:03I don't think she's going to be able to easily quit this.
04:06And to your point, I think there is, I don't want to call it like a full on arousal.

04:12the whole thing with talking about the Vanderpump and Villa hookup and then they hooked up after
04:16that because it turned her on, like for sure, that is definitely arousal.
04:20But arousal in a less sensual sense regarding the entirety of the toxicity that they experienced
04:28together.
04:28I think that, I think that sort of like scratches an itch for both of them on the sexual end,
04:37but also on the non-sexual end in terms of like, I feel like this behavior keeps getting
04:41rewarded because this is kind of like how she got her reality show.
04:44And so I think that now that she's like in this ecosystem, this behavior has been so
04:49normalized and it's like also content for the show.
04:52So I wonder if that's also subconsciously running through her head, like, oh, not only
04:56does it feel good to keep going back to him because I'm addicted, but it's like good for
05:00the show anyways.
05:01You know what I mean?
05:02Because this whole season was about that.
05:04I know.
05:05Well, then it's also kind of thing.
05:06It's like, if the show is called Secret Eyes of Mormon Wives, can we stop micing up Dakota?

05:12A lot of people have been complaining about this past season because Dakota is mic'd up
05:17and so are all the men, all the other dads.
05:19Dad talk took over this season.
05:22Yeah.
05:23People aren't, people aren't happy about it.
05:24Well, I liked it because I, um, to pause, Hulu was kind of annoying.
05:29Um, so I had bathroom breaks because I just can't hear like these guys.
05:33So you took a piss during the dad talk scenes.
05:35Okay.
05:36Yeah.
05:36And I folded laundry.
05:38Wow.
05:39There were so many.
05:39Like I, I could, I could have crossed state line.
05:42Like I could, I could have done so much with how often the dads were on the screen.
05:46Yeah.
05:47And I think even the Mormon wives themselves, they've been posting TikToks kind of apologizing
05:51for that.
05:52Oh yeah.
05:53Yeah.
05:53I don't think they liked it either.

05:55And I don't think they liked how their men acted with the confidence boost that they
05:59are now reality stars in their own right.

06:01I think the, the most drastic change was seeing Macy's husband, Jacob kind of find his light.
06:08We'll say she seemed to be getting the ick.
06:12Like ick capital.
06:14I like such a massive major ick from her husband.
06:18This trip was about dad talk coming together.
06:20It wasn't about the drama.
06:22I'm not only getting the ick really badly from both of them.
06:25I mean, Jordan always gives me the ick, but now Jacob is starting to in this situation.

06:30I don't want to say it's confidence.
06:32I don't think that's the icky part of it.
06:33I think it's just the sort of a new side of Jacob that we haven't seen him wanting
06:38to be friends with like Dakota and Jordan, two guys she does not mess with and does not
06:42like, she doesn't respect either of them.
06:43It's not confidence per se.
06:46Confidence is Connor learning practical magic.

06:49Oh, and also confidence is being comfortable in your masculinity to just support your wife
06:53being the star.

06:54And that I think was the issue that a lot of the men on the show were having.

07:06But now it's like you made a choice.

07:13I know that sit down between Whitney and Zach was so crazy.
07:17I mean, for, I can't believe that Jen thought it was a good look to send her husband in her
07:23place.
07:24And then also shame on Zach for even agreeing to that.
07:28He should have just known from the jump.
07:30That's not a good look for either of us.
07:31If you don't want to go meet with Whitney, you don't have to go.
07:33I don't have to meet with her, but it's not going to be me yet.
07:35He chose to do so.
07:36And you could tell immediately the moment that Whitney saw it was Zach and not Jen.
07:41She was so uncomfortable.
07:43He made her feel so uncomfortable in the way that he was talking to her.
07:46And then, you know, Whitney's had a slight crash out about it and called Connor and Connor
07:51was pissed about it.
07:51And I mean, look, Connor is, he's a peaceful dude, but I think he, he was ready to rage.
07:57My biggest f***ing pet peeve with me is when men try and make women feel f***ing small.

08:04I feel that way.
08:05Imagine on Housewives sending one of the husbands to have a fight.
08:07No, it just wouldn't work.

08:31Well, first we got to shout out Danny.
08:33Danny made an amazing cameo when he was interviewing Macy Neely about her book.

08:39It was, it was an incredible book and that was an incredible conversation.
08:42We only saw like a tiny little snippet of it, but it was so wonderful to see your
08:45beautiful face.
08:46And that was me and her at a double whammy interviewing at page six radio.

08:50And then we also, this award right here was featured in it.
08:56Well, not this exact teacup, but one of the teacups was that our boss babe one,
09:01Jess, Jesse, she beat Kim Kardashian, as she liked to say.
09:04And she really did like guys, she beat Kim Kardashian.
09:07She beat out all the other boss babes in the reality TV space that were nominated.
09:10So incredible.
09:11She wore the virtual reality sweatsuit that I think you can buy online.
09:14Yeah.
09:15And one of my friends was like, where do I buy that?
09:16I was like, I'm not, I was like, I feel like you're asking me, how do I get it for
09:18free?
09:19I'm like, go to the store.
09:20As two people who own the virtual reality sweatsuit, it is so comfortable.
09:24So go shopping.
09:25So I did love seeing that.
09:26Oh, I also wanted to tell you if I, and like, this is with love to both Macy and Jesse,
09:32if Alex Cooper asked you to do something when we had plans, you can go.
09:37I know that was, I do know.
09:38You know what, I think that Jesse did make the right call though.
09:41Yeah, she did.
09:42Once Macy explained to her that it really hurt her feelings that she dropped out of the
09:46book event to go do the unwell event.
09:49You know, Jesse made the right decision and it looks like she was having fun.
09:52She had such a fun time and she was able to be in her lovely outfit.
09:55Um, I did LOL, even though I do think, I hope Macy watching back this season saw the mental
10:04anguish.
10:05Whitney is kind of putting herself with all these exciting stuff, but really busy.
10:08But I did laugh at Whitney being like, no, Macy, you have to let her know that you want
10:11her to show up because it'll hurt your feelings.
10:12And then Whitney didn't go to Macy's event.
10:16Yeah.
10:16Well, do you know what's funny is Macy was dropping some behind the scenes tea on her Instagram
10:21story.
10:22Oh, I missed.
10:22Yeah, so she, uh, I don't want to say she was upset with editors, but she pointed out
10:28some editing mishaps.
10:30We go on.
10:31She said that essentially in that whole situation, she wasn't upset that Jen and Whitney didn't
10:37come to her book event and that basically they edited together carefully curated clips
10:42to make it seem like she was upset.
10:44She said she like literally did not care.
10:46And also she said that, or she claimed that Jacob was coerced into saying the thing about
10:52the priesthood.
10:52I saw that.
10:53Yeah.
10:54Which was so, yeah, I mean, what in the Laguna beach is happening?
10:58Right.
10:59A little Franken biting going on a little.
11:01Yeah.
11:02So that's the thing.
11:03I, I, Taylor's like, can I say that for my, no, honey, you can't Frank and bite.
11:09Like, yeah, DV allegations.
11:11I always thought that kind of like housewives that Mormon wives was pretty authentic, but
11:18it seems like maybe according to what Macy is saying on social media that we have to be
11:24a little bit weary because we could be sort of venturing into selling sunset territory
11:31where continuity errors, scripted scenes, like that kind of thing.
11:34I don't know.
11:35The only reason I hope that is, is I hope Jordan has some of that to save him because
11:40him and Jesse stressed me the f*** out.
11:43And you know, I love, we love Jesse so much.
11:45One of the sweetest.
11:46I mean, they're all very, very nice.
11:48We just have had more moments with Jesse.
11:50One of the nicest women.
11:51She is such an angel.
11:52When she did the VRT awards where she won the Boss Babe Award, I just could not have been
11:57more impressed with how sweet she is.
11:58And also you could just tell everyone that she interacted with fell in love with her
12:03immediately, whether they knew her or, or didn't know her.
12:06I'll never forget to in backstage, everyone, you know, it's like, it's the award sister.
12:10We want everyone to feel special.
12:10She was crisscross applesauce on the floor.
12:12And I was like, and then I came in like 20 minutes.
12:14I was like, Oh, do you want a chair?
12:15She's like, Oh, I don't want to bother anybody.
12:17I didn't know if there were extra chairs.
12:18I was like, I think we can find a chair for you.
12:20Like, girl, you're winning an award.
12:23But like you said, she and Jordan are stressing me the f*** out.
12:26And do you know, what's really crazy is that when we, when we invited Jesse to the VRT
12:31awards, when she won the Boss Babe Award, she came with Jordan and Jordan made a beautiful
12:37speech, a very sweet, touching speech.
12:38And you and I were so confused because on the previous season, it was like, we were teeing
12:42up all the stuff about the Marciano and the marriage troubles and stuff.
12:45We're like, wait, like they really did a 360 on their, or a 180 on their marriage.
12:50And actually it was a 360 to know, right.
12:52And to know that they were going through so much turmoil at that same time is kind of
12:58crazy.
12:58And you know, one of, one of the things that we're going through is this whole prenup
13:01situation.
13:02And that was just crazy to me because, so they have a prenup because she has this hair
13:08business, this, this hair extension empire slash salon business that I believe she franchises
13:14that like mom is doing well, multimillion dollar business has a prenup a lot to protect
13:18their financially and she had her lawyer look through the prenup and they found out that
13:24it might not be valid because witnesses didn't sign it.
13:28So then she was kind of like freaking out because now she and Jordan are in this precarious
13:33situation where it's like, will we, or won't we get a divorce?
13:36And Jordan, she does mention that if they do decide to split up officially, like get a divorce,
13:41that he's not going to be the nicest guy to divorce.
13:43Jordan has made a lot of changes, but if I'm basing it off of the Jordan that I was
13:48married to for four years, that Jordan would be a very hard person to divorce.
13:51I think he would be spiteful and vindictive.
13:53And I think he would play a little bit dirty, which is kind of what people always say.
13:57It's like, you don't divorce the person you marry.
14:00And I do feel like Jordan would really make it so terrible for her, which I, I hate for
14:05her.
14:06So it's good.
14:07At least she, I mean, it's not good.
14:09I'm happy.
14:10She has the awareness of that to get more ducks in a row.
14:14If that's the road she wants to go on.
14:16Because there's no way that he would agree to a prenup now.

14:52And she got down to 99 pounds, 99 pounds.

14:56I'm, I just, I feel so bad for her and I'm so happy that she's doing better now because
15:01she did reveal on social that she's no longer on the GLP ones, you know, body image is still
15:06a struggle, but I think she seems to be in a better place.
15:10And I'm, I, I, it was probably a struggle for her to open up, but so many people go through
15:15body image issues and especially the public eye, the private eye, but yeah.

15:19And she was also pursuing her modeling dreams this season.
15:23She had a big meeting with Ford.
15:25They ultimately decided not to sign her, which that rejection I think was really tough for
15:30her as it converged with her decision to open up about this, because again, it's kind
15:35of that idea like, Oh my God, am I not good enough?
15:37Am I, am I not pretty enough?
15:38Am I not thin enough?
15:40And so I, I hate that that happened for her.
15:43Cause if I was at Ford, I'd be like, this woman is gorgeous.

15:51We've had so much fun with her, but I am happy that she's opening up because that is
15:53something that a lot of people will relate to too.

18:38because I do think that this is going to make my Bachelorette viewing experience a little tricky.
