00:00:06We're back in the workroom, and I've just sent LaPhil home.
00:00:11I love LaPhil so much, but I had to make sure that I fought, because I'm not going anywhere.
00:00:18Keep whipping that hair, smash those gender roles, love LaPhil-o-sophical.
00:00:25That performance was incredible.
00:00:26I mean, things went out of who knows what.
00:00:28I didn't know what was going on for half a bit.
00:00:31I've seen a lot of very peculiar performances in my time, but LaPhil maybe takes the biscuit.
00:00:36There was a mud and grass flying.
00:00:38It's like there was a hurricane at Glastonbury.
00:00:41I may not be a funny bitch, but you know what?
00:00:43I can lip-sync LaPhil out of the competition.
00:00:47You know what, bitch?
00:00:48You're a fierce bitch, and that's why you deserve to be here.
00:00:50We love you, LaPhil.
00:00:51We love you, LaPhil.
00:00:53LaPhil-o-sophical.
00:00:55Weedy, darling.
00:00:55LaPhil came here, he really showed the world what he's made of.
00:00:59Although I'm sad to see him go, I'm super proud of him.
00:01:03Well, Gales, here we are.
00:01:05Top six.
00:01:06Here we are.
00:01:06Top six.
00:01:08We have Cheddar.
00:01:10Congratulations.
00:01:11Cheddar, well done.
00:01:12Are you taking the comedy badge away from Danny now?
00:01:16Well, I don't think I could ever wrestle the Class Clown title from Danny, and I wouldn't
00:01:23want to.
00:01:24I'll sit on your bitch and take the badge off you.
00:01:28How did you feel this week?
00:01:29Because I feel like you took a little bit of a notch.
00:01:31I put a lot of pressure on myself.
00:01:33Do you know what?
00:01:33It was all right.
00:01:34It weren't my best way.
00:01:35But in 20 years' time, they might be playing that clip and mistaking it for the real Scylla.
00:01:41Oh, 1,000%.
00:01:42I mean, you know.
00:01:45I don't see this as taking a knot.
00:01:47I've still got three badges, and there's still opportunity to get more.
00:01:51Soz Cheds.
00:01:53But do you know what?
00:01:54I'm looking around now, and I'm like, this is strong.
00:01:57We all have different strengths.
00:01:59Yeah.
00:01:59Yours is lip syncing.
00:02:03And, obviously, what's mine?
00:02:05I haven't won about much.
00:02:06Yours is coasting.
00:02:07Survival.
00:02:08Survival.
00:02:09Jumbas clearly has a lot to offer.
00:02:11He's an amazing performer.
00:02:13Survival is a very important skill in this world.
00:02:16But I haven't been able to pick out yet, what is the essence of Jumbas?
00:02:21Who is Jumbas?
00:02:23Well, I'm being positive.
00:02:24I'm a child for a smash game!
00:02:27Lackity drag, girls.
00:02:28I'm in so much pain.
00:02:29Come on.
00:02:30Let's do it.
00:02:30You're at the point of nausea.
00:02:31You're at the point of nausea.
00:02:33Top six, girls.
00:02:34Top six!
00:02:37I can see a few side-eyes here, Nari.
00:02:39Oh, my God.
00:02:41That is orgasmic.
00:02:42These queens are watching me, Nari.
00:02:44And rightly so.
00:02:45The five is a fused.
00:02:47I am genuinely really sorry for these girls.
00:02:49One by one, I will send them out.
00:02:51Make sure you do your praise and your kumbaya, because I'm not going anywhere.
00:02:54Oh, my God.
00:02:56I need some more badges on my boobies.
00:02:58These girls need to take you out.
00:03:01You look like Miss Piggy.
00:03:03Oh!
00:03:04Oh!
00:03:05Oh-ho-ho-ho!
00:03:12It's a brand new week, and it's yet another chance for all of us girls to prove that we belong
00:03:16here in this competition.
00:03:19I'm going to smash it.
00:03:20I say it every week.
00:03:21Do I always?
00:03:22Maybe not.
00:03:23But do you know what?
00:03:24I'm confident that this week is going to be my week.
00:03:26Fingers crossed.
00:03:27Looking around, is this how everybody imagined the top six to be?
00:03:31I certainly didn't imagine being here.
00:03:33No one's surprised to hear that.
00:03:34To coat our self-doubt.
00:03:35But honestly, to be here right now, I'm so immensely proud of myself.
00:03:40Now that Snatch Game is over, that none of us know what to expect.
00:03:43I think, hopefully, it's something maybe a bit more tailored to my skill set.
00:03:47Genuinely, that feeling of positivity, it's not forced anymore.
00:03:51It's actually real.
00:03:52Do you know what?
00:03:53I'm so glad to hear that, though, because at least now you can end on a high.
00:03:55Shut up, you bitch.
00:03:57Pixie polite ain't so polite anymore, Gail.
00:04:00Lady, lady.
00:04:01She's getting rude.
00:04:02I couldn't have seen a better top six.
00:04:04I'm really happy.
00:04:05Yeah.
00:04:08Girl, her majesty that already had her.
00:04:14My queens, the time has come to repay those who have so unselfishly given of their time and care.
00:04:22So, if you can't be with the ones you love, drag the ones you with.
00:04:30Family resemblance.
00:04:30It's family resemblance.
00:04:32Family resemblance, guys.
00:04:33Are you worried?
00:04:33It's just doing somebody else's makeup.
00:04:35I've just got mine going to it.
00:04:38Hello, hello, hello.
00:04:40Hello.
00:04:44Now, ladykins, in a few weeks, one of you will be crowned the UK's next drag race superstar.
00:04:52But no one makes it to the top on their own.
00:04:56It takes a village, people.
00:04:58Yeah, it does.
00:05:00All of us owe a debt of gratitude to our amazing crew that works tirelessly behind the scenes day in
00:05:08and day out.
00:05:09Am I right, Mr. Cameraman?
00:05:13This week, I want to honor one group in particular.
00:05:18I'm talking about the Queen Team.
00:05:22Yeah!
00:05:24Yes!
00:05:25Yes!
00:05:25Yes!
00:05:26Yes!
00:05:26Yes!
00:05:27A group of selfless ladies that make sure you're fed, make sure your corsets are tightened, and hold your hand
00:05:35every high-heeled step of this competition.
00:05:40For those who don't know, the Queen Team is literally our backbone in this competition.
00:05:46They do everything to make sure that we are taken really well care of, keeping us together from losing our
00:05:52shit.
00:05:53Please welcome to the workroom, Fleur.
00:05:55Yes!
00:05:59Gemma.
00:06:00Yes!
00:06:02Lucy.
00:06:03Yes!
00:06:05Yes!
00:06:05Come on, Lucy!
00:06:07Mystique.
00:06:08Yay!
00:06:10Oh my God!
00:06:12She's wearing a tie for the occasion.
00:06:14Special occasion.
00:06:15Olivia!
00:06:16Yay!
00:06:20Wendy!
00:06:22Wendy!
00:06:23Yay!
00:06:24Wendy!
00:06:27Wendy!
00:06:28Yay!
00:06:28They have been so kind to us, and so caring, they have become our mothers, and our sisters, and our
00:06:34family while we've been here.
00:06:36Hello, ladies!
00:06:37Hi, everyone!
00:06:39My queens.
00:06:40For this week's maxi challenge, you'll be giving these fabulous, hard-working ladies a head-to-toe drag makeover.
00:06:49Now, this is your chance to hold their hands for a change as you share the miracle of drag.
00:07:00Hashtag Drag Race UK.
00:07:01Now, since the ladies of the Queen team work with all of you, I'm going to pair you alphabetically.
00:07:12I'm like, ka-dunk, ka-dunk, ka-dunk, ka-dunk.
00:07:14I don't know the alphabet!
00:07:16That means Black Pepper, you'll be with Fleur.
00:07:21Cheddar Gorgeous, you'll be with Gemma.
00:07:24Cheddar Gorgeous, you'll be with Gemma.
00:07:25Cheddar Gorgeous, you'll be with Lucy.
00:07:30Danny Beard, you will be with Mystique.
00:07:35Cheddar Gorgeous Blonde, you'll be with Olivia.
00:07:39Yes!
00:07:40Cheddar Gorgeous!
00:07:43And that means, Pixie Polite, you are with Wendy.
00:07:47Yes!
00:07:48I like Daisy!
00:07:49They are the people who work so hard, and their labor very rarely gets seen.
00:07:55So, it's going to be really nice just to make them feel great.
00:07:59Queens, you can use your own drag, plus any of the wigs, shoes and jewelries provided.
00:08:06Remember, as always, the judges will be looking for a strong drag family resemblance.
00:08:12Erasers.
00:08:13Start your engines, and may the best drag queen win.
00:08:24Yee-be, are you excited?
00:08:26I'm so excited.
00:08:27I can't believe that this week's maxi challenge is not only family resemblance,
00:08:32but we get to make over the amazing queen team.
00:08:36Before we look into Glocks, have you been in drag before?
00:08:40I've never been in drag before, no.
00:08:42You like a heel?
00:08:43I know you've got your own style backstage.
00:08:46Well, you know, I swing both ways, so...
00:08:49Which is perfect to be family beard.
00:08:52Because I think you're, like, for me, the most exuberant and extrovert queen,
00:08:56and I'm the most introvert queen team member.
00:09:00Girls, I don't think that's going to hold you back here,
00:09:03because this is about a family resemblance.
00:09:05I know inside of Mystique, there is an animal.
00:09:08And I am going to find it, and I'm going to grab it, and I'm going to pull it onto
00:09:13the main stage.
00:09:16Are you ready to become a shiffer, Lucy?
00:09:19Oh, babes.
00:09:20I was born ready.
00:09:21I can't wait.
00:09:21And you especially, like, just kept me grounded,
00:09:23when I have been in, like, there's been lots of wobbles,
00:09:26and you've just been so good to me.
00:09:28Babe, honestly.
00:09:29I just can't wait to put you, to shifferise you.
00:09:32It's going to be so good.
00:09:33I can't wait.
00:09:33So, you do love a day beat.
00:09:34You've got a gorgeous day beat.
00:09:36I love makeup.
00:09:37Yes.
00:09:37And I do like to put a bit on day-to-day,
00:09:39but I've never done drag before.
00:09:40Always wanted to, but never, ever.
00:09:42Especially, like, my makeup.
00:09:43It's not the most, like, exaggerated,
00:09:45but I've painted lots of people before,
00:09:47but with different facial structures,
00:09:48and even just looking at your face now,
00:09:49you are going to look so gorgeous.
00:09:51I am so excited.
00:09:52Both of us being hyper-feminine individuals,
00:09:55it sort of feels like it was meant to be.
00:09:57The idea I'm having is very, like, 1960s Balenciaga.
00:10:01Stop.
00:10:01The classic Dakota Schiffer experience.
00:10:04My twin, Harry, might be a little bit surprised
00:10:07when I come back with a triplet,
00:10:08but I'm looking forward to having a new family member.
00:10:12Shake your eyes, May.
00:10:12Shake your eyes.
00:10:14I'm just so happy that we can finally take good care of you,
00:10:19which we will.
00:10:20Please.
00:10:20And I cannot wait to turn
00:10:22this whole thing around.
00:10:24I am paired with the lovely Fleur.
00:10:28We share such a special bond.
00:10:29Baby, this is the pairing, okay?
00:10:31I'm super excited,
00:10:33but I'll be real with you, Peppa.
00:10:35Yeah.
00:10:35One of the fears I have is that from when I came out,
00:10:39I ditched the heels,
00:10:40I put on some lovely black boots,
00:10:42and I haven't looked back since.
00:10:43Okay.
00:10:44So when it comes to walking in heels,
00:10:47that's not my forte.
00:10:48So even when I was trying to be straight, honestly,
00:10:51like even then, I didn't like heels.
00:10:53Heel no.
00:10:54Okay.
00:10:55Well, we will work on that.
00:10:56I am concerned about Fleur not wearing heels.
00:10:58My brand is all about the high heels and the walk.
00:11:02But don't worry, baby.
00:11:04You're in good hands.
00:11:05I'm going to make sure I pepper spray you up.
00:11:08You're going to be fine walking with me.
00:11:09I think you're incredible, honestly.
00:11:13How are you?
00:11:14I'm good.
00:11:14I'm actually like really excited.
00:11:16I'm not nervous.
00:11:16I think it's just like anticipation.
00:11:18You are also, I think,
00:11:20known out of all the Queen Team members,
00:11:21the one who is going to be bringing in the laughs,
00:11:23the jokes, the fun,
00:11:24the vibrancy,
00:11:25the energy.
00:11:26Oh, no, not me.
00:11:27I'm shy.
00:11:28Stop.
00:11:28I know exactly.
00:11:29Doing makeovers in drag
00:11:31is something I've been doing for years.
00:11:33Tricky's going to be making our energies
00:11:35complement one another.
00:11:36I'm really excited to see Gemma embody
00:11:38that more kind of slow,
00:11:40you know,
00:11:41alien deity.
00:11:42Do you have any ideas for drag names yet
00:11:44before we look at costumes?
00:11:45I think we go for the cheese
00:11:48and the description.
00:11:49You are 100% energy all the time.
00:11:52Yeah.
00:11:52What's a better word for energy?
00:11:56Annoying.
00:11:58What about brie?
00:12:01Stop.
00:12:01I love brie.
00:12:02Brie gorgeous.
00:12:03Because you've got a brie gorgeous.
00:12:05We did think about mini cheddar,
00:12:07but apparently that's taken.
00:12:08I am so excited that I've got you
00:12:10and so excited to drag you up.
00:12:13Yes!
00:12:13It's still going to be great.
00:12:15It's very weird to be sat here.
00:12:18Usually I'm very much behind the walls of this room.
00:12:21I know!
00:12:22What the hell?
00:12:23Now, you're always running around
00:12:24after us and trainers.
00:12:26Have you ever wore heels?
00:12:27Very occasionally.
00:12:28Once in a blue moon.
00:12:29I want to see it for Royal Ascot
00:12:30and that's it.
00:12:31For Royal Ascot?
00:12:34Is there anything particular
00:12:35that's worrying you?
00:12:36The runway,
00:12:37that moment of going down that runway
00:12:39is freaking me out.
00:12:40Well, look,
00:12:40it freaks me out every time too,
00:12:42but there's always a good energy in it.
00:12:44My look is based on clowns,
00:12:46so this is all fun.
00:12:48There's nothing serious here.
00:12:49My only concern in this is Olivia.
00:12:51I want her to enjoy how I enjoy the runway.
00:12:54You look after me so much in this competition.
00:12:57I'm going to look after you.
00:12:57So you do not have to be worried at all.
00:13:00Thank you very much.
00:13:01There's no one else I'd rather
00:13:03make my drag mother
00:13:04in this moment than you.
00:13:05Like, I literally was so elated to have, like,
00:13:09I feel a bit emotional about it.
00:13:10I just love you!
00:13:11Wendy is like the mother hen
00:13:14of the queens and the queen team.
00:13:16She is clucking about,
00:13:18making sure we're all happy and well-fed.
00:13:21The amount of times she's tried to force-feed me sandwiches
00:13:23while I'm trying to tighten my corset.
00:13:25It's not the time, Wendy!
00:13:26It's just like the stars of the line.
00:13:28I think we're a match made in heaven.
00:13:30I mean, you've got arthritis.
00:13:32I have rodgy knees.
00:13:33I'm looking forward to the whole glam look of it.
00:13:37And make-up, can't wait.
00:13:40Eyelashes, can't wait.
00:13:42Just everything.
00:13:43We'll get some big lashes on you.
00:13:45A lovely little lace front.
00:13:47Wendy, we need to choose your drag name.
00:13:50I've got one idea.
00:13:51Okay, what's your idea?
00:13:52You know I've got a big bottom,
00:13:54so my drag name is Hugh,
00:13:57H-U-G-H, J-A-R-S-S-E.
00:14:05Do you know what?
00:14:05Hugh J-A-R-S.
00:14:06If you were going to be a drag king,
00:14:08I feel like yes.
00:14:09After this, you can go and live your life as Hugh J-A-R-S.
00:14:13We are cackling like witches in the corner.
00:14:16Wendy has such an infectious energy
00:14:19and I can't wait to walk down that runway with her.
00:14:25Well, let's talk about face wigs.
00:14:28Oh, face wigs.
00:14:30Now, these are-
00:14:30That's like American.
00:14:31Yeah.
00:14:32I'm making for a different set of lips, sweetie.
00:14:35My plan of action, yet mystique,
00:14:37comfortable and feeling gorgeous.
00:14:40Today is about building up her confidence.
00:14:42So if you have the lilac beard, I have the mint hair.
00:14:45You have the mint hair, I have the lilac beard.
00:14:46Do you get me?
00:14:47I got you.
00:14:48We are going to look like sisters from different mists.
00:14:50Yeah.
00:14:51I will try it out.
00:14:52But if I look at myself in the mirror and I think,
00:14:56then I'll let you know.
00:14:59And don't forget you are part of the beard family.
00:15:02Yeah.
00:15:03So we need some hair on there, you know?
00:15:06Yeah.
00:15:06Eyebrows.
00:15:09Beard.
00:15:10I know.
00:15:11I know.
00:15:12Please wear the beard.
00:15:13Please wear the ring beard.
00:15:19Here we go.
00:15:20Mama Wendy's in the house.
00:15:22Yes, Mama Wendy.
00:15:24You look like Dakota after like a heavy night and lots of cigarettes.
00:15:32This is just beautiful, that fabric.
00:15:34Back in the 90s, my mum definitely had some sort of like accent
00:15:38in her bedroom that was this colour.
00:15:40It doesn't really come alive until the person's wearing it
00:15:42because a shift silhouette is we've seen it miss
00:15:44and we've seen it hit.
00:15:45Right, okay.
00:15:46This time it's going to hit.
00:15:47It's going to absolutely hit.
00:15:47Don't you worry.
00:15:48We're going to sell the bleep out of it.
00:15:49We're going to sell the bleep out of it.
00:15:54I look like if Rod Stewart had really done in his lap.
00:16:00I think that's lovely.
00:16:00This is absolutely mental.
00:16:05Surprise, surprise, surprise.
00:16:08It's Raven, hunty.
00:16:12Raven is in the workroom.
00:16:13Ru wanted me to stop in and check on your progress.
00:16:15Is it okay?
00:16:17Yes.
00:16:18Please.
00:16:19She is perfect.
00:16:21And this is definitely a moment I'm going to cherish.
00:16:24Is this your first time getting into drag, Fleur?
00:16:27I once did a drag king thing at a talent show with my girlfriend
00:16:30but it was just like, it was a little bit of fun, not actual drag.
00:16:35So this is you.
00:16:35This is your first time getting into glam drag?
00:16:37Yeah, big time.
00:16:38You have done your makeup many, many, many times.
00:16:41Have you ever painted anyone else?
00:16:42Never.
00:16:43I've never painted anyone else.
00:16:44It's going to be a club kid row and that's something that I'm really good at
00:16:48because I love being really artistic and stuff.
00:16:50When you go out there, the light kind of diffuses everything
00:16:53and you want to just have things pop a little more.
00:16:56You do a beautiful crease but try cutting it a little more.
00:16:59I can tell you have a confidence.
00:17:01I can tell that you are not nervous about this but you have never painted anyone else before.
00:17:06So I'm excited to see.
00:17:08Bye.
00:17:09Hi, Pixie Polite and Wendy.
00:17:11Hello, Raven.
00:17:13You're the legend out of the Queen team.
00:17:15I'm not a legend.
00:17:16I'm just the oldest.
00:17:18So you've been here since the beginning.
00:17:19Yes, season one.
00:17:21You started season one, episode one.
00:17:22Yep.
00:17:22Out of all that time, what's the weirdest thing you've ever had to do for a drag queen?
00:17:26Backstage, just before a runway, I've had to bend right down and go underneath, do a popper up underneath and
00:17:34stick everything back in.
00:17:37You had to pop.
00:17:38Not everything, just one.
00:17:40Just one.
00:17:41One bollocks.
00:17:42Oh, yeah.
00:17:45Sorry.
00:17:45Wendy.
00:17:46Well, luckily it wasn't two.
00:17:49Now, you are going to be doing purple.
00:17:52We're playing on a sort of fairy pixie theme.
00:17:56Which I love.
00:17:56And we're just going to be camping.
00:17:57You're going to be my mumma, aren't you?
00:17:58Yeah.
00:17:59Do you do heels?
00:18:00I do wear them out.
00:18:01I wore some to a funeral last week.
00:18:03Very festive.
00:18:03It's not really out.
00:18:05But okay.
00:18:07All right.
00:18:08Then I'll let you guys get to it.
00:18:09Thank you very much.
00:18:09Thank you so much.
00:18:11Howdy.
00:18:11Hello.
00:18:11Hi.
00:18:12So you won the Snatch Game.
00:18:13I did.
00:18:14Crazy.
00:18:14Now, what do you think that makes the other queens feel?
00:18:17How do you think they feel?
00:18:17Probably a mix of fear and admiration and I'm fine with that.
00:18:20Good.
00:18:21Now, Gemma.
00:18:22Yeah.
00:18:22Ever done drag?
00:18:24Well, every day.
00:18:24Every day is drag queen.
00:18:25You know.
00:18:26So you are a girl that likes to wear makeup.
00:18:28You like to wear heels.
00:18:29Well, yeah.
00:18:30I mean, back in the day.
00:18:31More than makeup, I feel like you have the attitude of a drag queen, which is far more
00:18:36important.
00:18:37Now, Cheddar has a very eclectic and avant-garde type of drag.
00:18:43For me, a little more freeing than just being pretty.
00:18:46I totally agree with that.
00:18:48I think, particularly girls, I think we're told so often to be pretty.
00:18:51I'm gonna just throw myself in the deep end and hope for the best.
00:18:53And you are gonna let Cheddar do what Cheddar does best.
00:18:57Totally.
00:18:57Cheese me up.
00:18:58Can't wait.
00:18:58All right.
00:18:59Thanks, gorgeous.
00:18:59See you later.
00:19:00Good luck.
00:19:00Have fun.
00:19:02Hi Jonbers and Olivia.
00:19:03How are you?
00:19:05Great.
00:19:05How are you?
00:19:06I'm really well, love.
00:19:06Thanks for asking.
00:19:07Oh, you're quite welcome.
00:19:10Now, what are you gonna give Olivia?
00:19:12Olivia is very like me and we don't take ourselves too seriously.
00:19:15So, the concept that I've went with is like mime clowns, black and white thing.
00:19:21I'm doing it in a very chic way.
00:19:23Wait, I mean, that's what drag queens are.
00:19:25We're clowns.
00:19:25Exactly.
00:19:26We are clowns.
00:19:26We are the clowns of the gay community.
00:19:29Have you ever painted anyone else before?
00:19:31Just like on a night out with my girlfriends.
00:19:33I'm not worried, but any tips would be helpful.
00:19:37What I would say is, you know, you have a very little amount of space between your nose and your
00:19:42lip.
00:19:42Yeah.
00:19:43I would bring the contour up a little.
00:19:45And then your brow.
00:19:46Just make it arch a little bit more.
00:19:47Arch them.
00:19:47Yeah.
00:19:48Now, have you ever done drag before?
00:19:50Absolutely not.
00:19:51No.
00:19:51No.
00:19:52Have you talked ever?
00:19:53I don't think I've ever needed to.
00:19:56So, are you willing to go all in?
00:19:58I really am.
00:19:58Yeah, I'm up for anything.
00:20:00You are gonna look absolute charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.
00:20:04Yeah.
00:20:04Nah.
00:20:06Alright, I'll get the fuck out of here.
00:20:08Now, Lucy, you've been here since day one.
00:20:10That's right.
00:20:11Series one to four.
00:20:12Honestly, it doesn't feel like a job.
00:20:14It feels like a dream to be here, especially as a queer person in this space.
00:20:19You know, that's watched the show and that loves it.
00:20:21Like, it really is amazing.
00:20:22Well, you just got a raise.
00:20:24Now, Dakota, you are a natural girl.
00:20:28Are you gonna get in there with Lucy's makeup or just do a pretty natural beat?
00:20:32The judges have commented on the subtlety of my drag.
00:20:36So, we're gonna do a quite high contrast eye because I know the judges want to see transformation.
00:20:41This is just a chance to maybe go in a little bit more saying, yeah, I know I'm pretty, but
00:20:45look what else I can do.
00:20:46Yes.
00:20:47Use all the crayons in the crayon box.
00:20:48I know Raven's aesthetic is more exaggerated than mine, so I'll happily take those suggestions on board.
00:20:54Good luck.
00:20:55Thank you so much, Raven.
00:20:57All right, come on over, Dani and Mystique.
00:20:59Mystique, you showed up with a drag name.
00:21:01Yeah.
00:21:02This looks a lot shorter than normal.
00:21:05I keep it trimmed for drag, but with the magic of custom lace.
00:21:11Ah, a custom lace beard.
00:21:13Is Mystique gonna be a bearded queen?
00:21:15I'm gonna try them on and see how I feel with them.
00:21:19So, what are your reservations when it comes to that?
00:21:21As you can see, I'm not the most feminine of women.
00:21:24I'm often mistaken for a male person.
00:21:27It is one of those things that I'm still a bit icky with.
00:21:31The thing that I think people still don't understand about drag is that it's always been about fuck societal norms
00:21:38on gender.
00:21:38I'm decorating myself.
00:21:40Mystique's spoken honestly and candidly, and I really appreciate it.
00:21:44I don't wanna push her into feeling uncomfortable.
00:21:47I cannot wait to see what you turn out.
00:21:49I hope that she can, by the end of tomorrow, feel sexy and have a bit of facial hair and
00:21:55know that she is a superstar.
00:21:59Okay.
00:22:00I wanna be, like, out, in, out.
00:22:03Shake it all about.
00:22:06The secret to wearing heels is that they're not supposed to be comfortable.
00:22:10Yeah, okay.
00:22:10I feel that.
00:22:11But no one needs to know that they're not comfortable.
00:22:12Okay.
00:22:13So, Fleur has not worn heels for a long, long, long time.
00:22:17And this is her moment to feel that power.
00:22:20Five, six, seven, and...
00:22:23Look at you!
00:22:24Come and do it.
00:22:25Whoa, girl!
00:22:26That actually feels okay!
00:22:26You're doing okay!
00:22:28That actually feels right!
00:22:29Fleur, you're in my house now, baby.
00:22:31Five, six, seven, and...
00:22:34Yeah.
00:22:34But with a bit more grace.
00:22:36Okay, more grace.
00:22:37Yeah.
00:22:40Gosh.
00:22:40Good?
00:22:41Yeah, that's great.
00:22:42I'm a bit worried you might be liking this a little bit too much, Gemma.
00:22:46Come on, take a cue in my little shoe shop, my angel.
00:22:49What shoe size are you, my darling?
00:22:50I'm, like, a seven and eight.
00:22:51You're a seven and eight?
00:22:52Okay.
00:22:53Okay.
00:22:53My nature in life is to be quite a positive and nurturing person.
00:22:57I wanna get this look on her as fast as possible.
00:23:00Shave my toes.
00:23:01Shave?
00:23:02Shave your toes?
00:23:03And just really encouraging Olivia.
00:23:05Oh, my God.
00:23:06Come on.
00:23:06Is that right?
00:23:07Yeah, that's definitely right, Olivia.
00:23:09Come on.
00:23:10And he's gonna fit you.
00:23:11I think he might be an eight, Angel.
00:23:15Seven.
00:23:16Six and a half.
00:23:17Are you too big for my shoes?
00:23:18Have I got a sore foot than you?
00:23:19No, no, so I say that I'm a seven, but I'm probably a nine.
00:23:24Those feet are boats.
00:23:27I feel like...
00:23:28Am I putting Bigfoot into drag?
00:23:29She has lied about her shoe size.
00:23:32She is a drag queen, three and three.
00:23:36No!
00:23:37I learn quite quickly when people explain things.
00:23:40Oh, my God.
00:23:40It's literally just...
00:23:43Four glides.
00:23:44Pretend you're gliding.
00:23:47Oh, no.
00:23:51Oh, my God.
00:23:54There she is.
00:23:57Oh, my God.
00:23:57There she is.
00:23:58Oh, my God.
00:23:58She's minted turkey, bitch.
00:24:00Shh.
00:24:01Why is it weirdly bulging here?
00:24:05Pixie love.
00:24:08Please.
00:24:10My sister has got the queen of the queen team, Wendy.
00:24:14And honestly, right now, she looks like she's just rolled through B&M with Velcro strapped to her body and
00:24:19come out with whatever's on the other side.
00:24:21I'm like, there's camp, love, and there's gay vomit.
00:24:32When did you come out?
00:24:33I didn't come out until I was about 21.
00:24:35I was just so terrified.
00:24:37You know when you lose an eyelash?
00:24:39Yeah.
00:24:39You make a wish.
00:24:40I literally wish, like, to be straight.
00:24:42I just wanted to fit in.
00:24:45How was it with your parents?
00:24:48My mother has always been, like, my biggest cheerleader.
00:24:51So I think I was just really scared of losing her as that person in my life.
00:24:55But she now, like, celebrates my queerness so much.
00:24:58She comes to every single football match I play in.
00:25:02She started watching Drag Race.
00:25:03And I feel like through watching this, she's just learned so much about queerness, full stop.
00:25:07That is so amazing that your mom supports you.
00:25:09Yeah.
00:25:09I mean, I just remember feeling like I just can never, ever tell anyone.
00:25:14I remember seeing my dad.
00:25:15He would watch, like, in the news, the things that would happen to queer people.
00:25:18And he would be like, Fatima and Dem.
00:25:20How could you, you know, love a guy?
00:25:21And I would be in my room just, like, trembling like shit.
00:25:24Like, I'm literally one of those people, you know?
00:25:27Growing up in St. Martin's, it literally is paradise.
00:25:30I am so fortunate to be from somewhere where people go on vacation.
00:25:34But it's a very religious place.
00:25:37So being gay is obviously a no-no.
00:25:40I had to go to church almost every day of the week.
00:25:42You know, you're brought in a Christian background knowing that homosexuality is wrong.
00:25:46You just feel like everything that you are, you know, life is against.
00:25:49Yeah.
00:25:50It's very, very difficult to be out of the closet in an island where I'm from.
00:25:56Because St. Martin is so small, there's nothing you can do that kind of goes under the radar.
00:26:01You find yourself having to hide and pretend you have no support.
00:26:06You have no one on your side.
00:26:08I just couldn't tell anyone and I felt like I couldn't trust anyone.
00:26:12I'm so scared.
00:26:12I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is a time when I was like, you know, I'm going to be
00:26:15rebellious.
00:26:16I started sneaking out the house, going to the underground gay scene.
00:26:19There was like one gay club where I'm from.
00:26:21So someone in the club was spying on me and sent my mom the video.
00:26:26I remember my dad would ask me on the spot.
00:26:28Are you gay?
00:26:29Like, I need an answer.
00:26:30No, are you gay or not?
00:26:31Because people are telling me this and I need to know.
00:26:33I don't want no gay son in my house.
00:26:34Imagine being on the spot.
00:26:36Like if I had to tell him, I'd probably get kicked out the house.
00:26:38I'd be homeless.
00:26:40Someone who's gay in the Caribbean is just like, you don't win.
00:26:43We were constantly in fear.
00:26:45It's really scary.
00:26:46Like being in a household like that, where it's so religious that you don't even feel worthy of living.
00:26:54I was so like suicidal already.
00:26:57Like...
00:27:05I remember going to church and I was like, can I just be straight?
00:27:09People think, oh, you choose to be gay.
00:27:11Why the hell would I want to put myself through all that turmoil, you know?
00:27:20It really put things into perspective for me that, you know what?
00:27:23If I'm going to stay here and feel like this, this is not going to go anywhere and I need
00:27:27to leave.
00:27:29And thankfully for me, I was blessed with the brain.
00:27:33After years of all the bullying and all of that, I decided it was time to leave.
00:27:40Luckily, I was a nerd and got a scholarship to come to Coventry University.
00:27:44And I studied biomedical science, graduated with my master's and I got a first class degree.
00:27:51It was like a shift, a shift happened in me.
00:27:53I started dressing differently.
00:27:55I started acting more openly.
00:27:57When someone would ask me, are you gay? I'd be like, yeah.
00:27:59Oh my God. How did that feel the first time?
00:28:01I felt so liberated. It was such a good feeling.
00:28:04I'm not like this shame label that people wanted me to feel like when I was back home.
00:28:10I realized I have so many of my years to catch up on.
00:28:12I look at a queer person here who's younger than I am and they're fully realized.
00:28:16And I'm like, why am I not like them?
00:28:18You know, it's because I've been holding back all of who I was all this time.
00:28:22I have no regrets coming to the UK and I didn't feel the love from my family.
00:28:27And I had to find that love within myself.
00:28:29And I think that's why I have such a good drive.
00:28:31I'm just so proud of myself.
00:28:32Seeing where I came from to being here.
00:28:37Like...
00:28:38You're so strong.
00:28:39And the fact that you're here right now, being you and showing everyone who Pepper is,
00:28:45just is incredible.
00:28:47The relationship I have with my family now, although it's not the best,
00:28:51recently my mom did reach out.
00:28:53It'll be a long process, but I know that there is hope and I can see the relationship igniting slowly
00:28:59again.
00:29:00For me, it's an honor to be able to have family resemblance with you, honestly.
00:29:05And bring on the long way.
00:29:07I might stint you to death, but you know, forgive me from now.
00:29:22It's elimination day, and today we're making over the RuPaul's Drag Race UK Queen Team.
00:29:27Are you putting a wig cap on me?
00:29:29We'll put a wig cap on you as well, yeah.
00:29:30So we're having 12 people back here, and I've got six more drag queens to deal with.
00:29:34Too many drag queens, too many drag queens.
00:29:38Welcome to the salon.
00:29:40What are we thinking? Highlights? Lowlights?
00:29:43Someone been treating you bad?
00:29:45At the moment, where it stands this morning, Mystique is not very comfortable wearing the facial hair.
00:29:51We've got the lilac and the mint.
00:29:53Yeah.
00:29:54So they pick right up through the...
00:29:56Yeah, they're perfect.
00:29:56And then we go round the edges like I do, so we can see it's a mask.
00:30:00So all your gorgeous skin tone is still going to be on show, so we still know who you are.
00:30:04Do you know what I mean? Because that's important.
00:30:06I'm hoping once I've beat her face to within an inch of its life, she is going to feel a
00:30:12billion dollars.
00:30:13And when she feels a billion dollars, she'll say, well, throw the beard on.
00:30:17We're doing a similar face, I think.
00:30:19Yeah, I'm doing like a clown white face.
00:30:21Oh, so you're doing a Danny Beard look tonight.
00:30:24That's interesting.
00:30:24It's not a Danny Beard look, Dave.
00:30:25He didn't invent it.
00:30:27Sorry, I didn't break it to you.
00:30:28So first it was Clash of the Blobbies.
00:30:30Now it's Clash of the Clown makeup.
00:30:33Am I pressed? Absolutely not, because my face is going to be completely different from theirs.
00:30:36They're called similarities because they're similar.
00:30:38They're not the same.
00:30:39So...
00:30:42So you're going to glue down my eyebrows?
00:30:44We are, we are, yeah.
00:30:45I'm feeling pretty confident.
00:30:47I know that I can stamp my face straight onto Wendy's mug.
00:30:50I can't wait to be a fairy princess.
00:30:52I know.
00:30:53I'm not one who goes subtle with the makeup, so I don't think she's really ready for what she's in
00:30:58for.
00:30:59Have you got a good idea of what you're doing?
00:31:01Me?
00:31:02Yeah.
00:31:02Yes, do.
00:31:03No, I mean colour-wise, not like, do you know, do you know how to do drag?
00:31:06Do you know how to do drag?
00:31:09I didn't mean that.
00:31:15Make sure we get all the details right.
00:31:17Oh, I just love it so much.
00:31:20Gemma has some of the most wonderful real estate for makeup I've ever worked on.
00:31:25It's great.
00:31:26I get to just really focus on making the look really over the top and really extravagant and really gorgeous.
00:31:35Stop laughing.
00:31:37It'll be printed on your face forever.
00:31:42How you feeling today?
00:31:43I'm good, I'm good.
00:31:44I'm feeling a lot less nervous than I was yesterday.
00:31:47Yeah.
00:31:47I mean, it's a big thing, do you know what I mean?
00:31:48Yeah.
00:31:49You're normally on the other side of the camera.
00:31:50I think it's normal to feel a bit nervous, but I feel a lot more at ease.
00:31:55I was so excited to be paired with you, Luz.
00:31:57We've talked so much about our fashion and makeup references, and I knew that it was going to be a
00:32:03perfect match.
00:32:04Oh, babe, I feel the same about you, honestly.
00:32:07I've always felt hyper-feminine, just in the way that I am and the way that I present myself.
00:32:13One of the funny things when I first came out was that my mum was really shocked because I'd always
00:32:20been really girly.
00:32:21Yeah.
00:32:22So she sort of said to me, but you know, there were no signs.
00:32:25Yeah.
00:32:25I didn't get a clue.
00:32:27Yeah, no clue.
00:32:28I mean, passing privilege is a different conversation in trans identities, but in sexuality-wise,
00:32:31if you don't fit those stereotypes, then of course your parents are in for a shock because all they've seen
00:32:37is certain portrayals of sexual identities on television.
00:32:42Absolutely.
00:32:43As someone that I think really only does drag because, you know, it was an outlet for that femininity that
00:32:50I wasn't allowed to express as a child, it's so interesting hearing Lucy's perspective.
00:32:55I think, you know, now as I've got older and I'm sort of navigating my own kind of lesbian identity,
00:33:01like I really feel proud to be quite femme-presenting and I think that, you know, there's so much more
00:33:06representation now on telly.
00:33:08You know, we haven't seen so many different queer identities, I think, on Drag Race before in one room and
00:33:14it is just a pleasure to be part of that.
00:33:18I'm happy I get to share this with you.
00:33:19I'm just so, so excited to wear that massive one.
00:33:22Uh-huh.
00:33:26Jenna?
00:33:27Yeah?
00:33:28This is the quietest thing I've ever heard you look.
00:33:30Oh, I know, honestly.
00:33:32Jenna's just enjoying the process and I'm just enjoying, Jenna enjoying the process.
00:33:35We're enjoying the piece, aren't we all?
00:33:38Everyone's really happy today in the workroom.
00:33:41I think they've all forgotten that it's actually Elimination Day.
00:33:44You wear falsies, don't you?
00:33:46Oh, yeah.
00:33:47I'm from Essex, darling.
00:33:52Everybody is so good in the contest right now.
00:33:55It's anyone's guess who might be sent home.
00:33:58There's no chaff here, just chaff.
00:34:03Welcome to the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
00:34:07Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, RuPaul is unable to join us tonight.
00:34:13But Mama Ru is watching via a live video link.
00:34:17So now, with Ru's blessing, the show must go on.
00:34:22Let's say hello to national treasure, Graham Norton.
00:34:26Graham, have you ever done drag?
00:34:28Done drag?
00:34:29I mean, I've had sex with a drag queen.
00:34:30Does that count?
00:34:31Yeah, it does.
00:34:32Then yes, I have.
00:34:34Thought so.
00:34:34Did it burn?
00:34:36And joining us on the panel is Drag Race royalty, Raven.
00:34:41Hi, Raven.
00:34:42Hi, beautiful.
00:34:44Now, have you ever done drag?
00:34:47No, I prefer a more natural look.
00:34:49Me too.
00:34:51And welcome, the one, the only, boy George.
00:34:56We are so excited that you are here.
00:34:58I'm excited to be here.
00:34:59Drag Race without me, it's ridiculous.
00:35:01This week, we challenged our queens to transform the behind-the-scenes queen team into glamazons.
00:35:08Racers, start your engines.
00:35:10And may the best drag queen win.
00:35:14Can you feel the love?
00:35:16Category is Drag Family Realness.
00:35:20Up first, John Burr's Blonde and Nanu Noir.
00:35:24Ooh.
00:35:25Ugh.
00:35:26Black and white and mimed all over.
00:35:29Olivia and I are giving vaudevillian sisters from the 30s in the silent movie era, gorgina Hollywood starlets.
00:35:38Mime yo business.
00:35:41Olivia's really enjoying this.
00:35:42It's the most fun that I've ever had in this runway.
00:35:44We're clown minds, for God's sake.
00:35:48My kind of gal.
00:35:49Pearl necklace.
00:35:50Wink, wink.
00:35:52I'm so proud of Olivia.
00:35:53The judges are loving it.
00:35:54I'm serving Graham a pint of Guinness.
00:35:56He's having a ball.
00:35:58Zebra?
00:35:59I don't even know her.
00:36:01Up next, Pixie Polite and Trixie True Love.
00:36:05It's bring your fairy to work day.
00:36:08We are serving fairy garden realness.
00:36:11We flutter down the runway, like mother, like daughter, shaking our tits and being campus hell.
00:36:16I love it.
00:36:17I'll take one in every size.
00:36:20Trixie True Love is really doing me proud.
00:36:22She is embodying the trademark Pixie Polite silliness bouquet hun.
00:36:29We look really good together.
00:36:30You know, she walked past me earlier and I thought I was looking in a mirror.
00:36:33Maybe a mirror in a few years time, but a mirror nonetheless.
00:36:35Look at her tinker balls.
00:36:37Very good.
00:36:39She's always wanted to be a fairy princess and today she is a fairy queen.
00:36:44See you in the Toll House.
00:36:48Danny Beard and Mizzy Mustache.
00:36:51Wait a minute, I thought I was the only beard in here.
00:36:56For this week's Drag Family Resemblance runway, we are serving pastel hairy princesses.
00:37:03Aunt Gillian called, she wants her hair back.
00:37:06That hair colour's beyond there.
00:37:07It's gorge.
00:37:09We look like bookends.
00:37:11We look like family.
00:37:13We have gone for feathers and little mini handbags which say slap us on a night owl.
00:37:17Somebody's been fisting ostriches again.
00:37:21That's why they put their head in the sand.
00:37:25Mystique's coming alive.
00:37:27Giving it beans.
00:37:29Ah, she is looking and feeling gorgeous.
00:37:33Mission accomplished.
00:37:34Not by the hair of her chinny chin chin.
00:37:38Cheddar gorgeous and brie gorgeous.
00:37:42Look at the cheese selection.
00:37:45We are an elemental mirror image conveying a similar yet slightly askew energy.
00:37:53This mold old thing?
00:37:54No, mold thing. Not mold old thing.
00:37:57We look phenomenal.
00:37:59Whether they're wearing makeup or not, this wonderful woman is an energy and a force to be reckoned with.
00:38:05Why don't you come up and lactose me sometime?
00:38:08Brie is pulling out all of the stops.
00:38:10She's working that runway and showing up her mother.
00:38:14Just as her mother requested.
00:38:16Ham and cheese.
00:38:19Where's the wine?
00:38:20There's no wine, Graham.
00:38:23Up next, black pepper and chili pepper.
00:38:27These two are joined at the tip, but just the tip.
00:38:32We are serving you conjoined twins.
00:38:35Just like an umbilical cord, we are attached by over here.
00:38:38Oops, it's a girl.
00:38:41Gender reveal.
00:38:42I am giving you an amazing club kid beat with a beautiful mustache.
00:38:47And you know what? We looked incredible.
00:38:50Umbilical coordination.
00:38:52These are members of the Platt Earth Society.
00:38:55Brie is doing incredible on the runway.
00:38:57She is giving.
00:38:58This bitch is walking in the heels like she's been walking in heels every single day.
00:39:02Oh, there you go.
00:39:03That got in easy.
00:39:04I was so happy. I couldn't be more proud of her.
00:39:07Twinning is winning.
00:39:09Dakota Schiffer and Brigitte Schiffer.
00:39:12Why aren't you peachy kids?
00:39:15We are serving mother-daughter apricot realness in our gorgeous peach duchess set and gowns.
00:39:20And Lucy is giving you the more youthful because she literally looks six in what I'm wearing.
00:39:25What a lovely bunch of apricots.
00:39:30I know that Lucy feels beautiful.
00:39:32I feel very proud that I'm bringing home a triplet to the Schiffer dynasty.
00:39:36The Schiffers are doing it for whom?
00:39:39Themselves.
00:39:40They're doing it for peach other.
00:39:46Welcome, ladies.
00:39:48Don't you all look stunning?
00:39:51Now it's time for the judges' critiques.
00:39:55Up first, John Burr's blonde and a new noir.
00:39:58Now this is Olivia before.
00:40:00And look at her now.
00:40:02Wow.
00:40:04I like this.
00:40:05You did something elegant and simple.
00:40:08You were obviously really having fun.
00:40:09The problem I slightly have is family resemblance.
00:40:13There's more of a sense of kind of gal pals, possibly widow on the formal night on a cruise.
00:40:19Hoping to sit on the captain.
00:40:21Oh my god.
00:40:22Black and white combination is one of my absolute favorite things.
00:40:25What I really loved was the presentation.
00:40:26It was so well choreographed, you both broke through the wall at the same time.
00:40:30And I think that, John Burr's, your makeup looks amazing.
00:40:35I love it.
00:40:36I love you too. It's very, like, classic. Like an old, like a white movie.
00:40:40But I love the fact that you have a bigger train.
00:40:42You're like, I'm having the bigger train.
00:40:44Wow.
00:40:47I'm gonna echo Raven here and say you have come so far with your makeup skills.
00:40:52You look beautiful.
00:40:53Your sister, her makeup is good.
00:40:55It's struggling a little bit.
00:40:56But I thought you did a really good job.
00:40:57And it looks like you blocked her eyebrows.
00:40:59I did, yeah.
00:41:00Yeah, you're a proper drag queen today.
00:41:02Yeah, I wanted to give Olivia the full experience.
00:41:04So she's talk too.
00:41:07Good job.
00:41:08Nanu.
00:41:09So you work here.
00:41:10What was it like being on the stage versus from the sidelines?
00:41:13Um, yeah, terrifying.
00:41:15So nervous.
00:41:16I was absolutely petrified.
00:41:18But John Burr's called me from the get-go.
00:41:20And I loved every second of it.
00:41:21Thank you, ladies.
00:41:23Up next, Pixie Polite and Trixie True Love.
00:41:26Now, this is Wendy before.
00:41:28And look at her now.
00:41:32Trixie, I truly love you.
00:41:34You're just adorable.
00:41:36I get the family resemblance.
00:41:38You're just my favorite fairy.
00:41:40And there's been a lot of them.
00:41:43Yeah, I thought the humor really came across and that made me really happy and made me smile.
00:41:47It's gorgeous.
00:41:48I totally enjoyed watching you both.
00:41:51You looked like you were having fun.
00:41:52The only thing is patting.
00:41:55Her hips, they do not lie.
00:41:59I would say maybe two more pairs of tights just to kind of cover them up.
00:42:03Okay.
00:42:05Pixie, I thought that your relationship was abundantly clear.
00:42:08And I think the makeup on you is so pretty and I think you did your sister just a little
00:42:13dirty there.
00:42:14Pixie, what was it like for you working with Trixie?
00:42:16I think these lovely ladies really have become like very close to us just because of how much they look
00:42:22after us.
00:42:23And the outfits were obviously fairy inspired but they're also inspired by a particular flower that used to grow in
00:42:29my nana's garden.
00:42:30Sorry.
00:42:32That used to grow in my nana's garden when I was growing up.
00:42:36Sorry, I don't know why I'm so emotional.
00:42:40She's no longer with us but she was a very huge part of my life for me as a young
00:42:44gay person.
00:42:45And going over to her house and being in her garden surrounded by all her gorgeous flowers.
00:42:50It felt like I was escaping to my own little fairy world where I could sort of be who I
00:42:58needed to be.
00:42:59Sorry.
00:43:01There's a lot of kids out there watching who could relate to that story.
00:43:05To have the ability that you had a nana that let you be and encouraged you to be who you
00:43:09are.
00:43:09And I was really glad to be able to share it with Wendy who's been my little mummy while I've
00:43:14been here.
00:43:14Trixie, what was this experience like for you?
00:43:17Well, I never thought I'd get to 60 and end up being on a stage doing this.
00:43:22I think I look older with drag than I do without.
00:43:27Well, you know, we've got you in a bit of a purple rinse.
00:43:29I know, the purple rinse I think is what's doing it.
00:43:32You actually have it done yourself, you don't realise how much work goes into it.
00:43:37It was amazing.
00:43:41Up next, Danny Beard and Mizzy Mustache.
00:43:45Now this is Mystique before.
00:43:47And look at her now!
00:43:51Wow!
00:43:52This is so beautiful.
00:43:54The colour palette, the style of it.
00:43:57Lovely family resemblance. Congratulations.
00:43:59It was a time when, you know, the idea of having a beard would have just been unthinkable.
00:44:03But I love your look, it's so drag-remixed, it's breaking all the rules.
00:44:07I love it.
00:44:08I love the whole, like, 60s vibe.
00:44:11The makeup looks great.
00:44:12That Danny Beard hard-carved cheek.
00:44:15It's great. I love all of it.
00:44:18Quintessentially, Danny Beard.
00:44:20All the details are tended to here, but it's also fashion.
00:44:24And that's what it's about at this point.
00:44:26So I thought it was really, really fun.
00:44:28Do you feel beautiful, my love?
00:44:30I do. I feel amazing.
00:44:32I was apprehensive about the beard and the moustache.
00:44:35I said, wait till you've done all the makeup.
00:44:36Of course, it all made sense.
00:44:38He wanted me to have a good experience as well.
00:44:41And did you?
00:44:46I'm just so proud that she feels great,
00:44:48because I know she was worried that I was going to make her look silly.
00:44:51Yeah.
00:44:52And I wanted her to have a good time.
00:44:54I wanted her to come out here and feel the power that drag gives you.
00:44:57Because although I am gobby, I wasn't always like that.
00:45:00And I found that power through drag.
00:45:02So I hope she's got the power.
00:45:05Got the power.
00:45:06Yes.
00:45:07Thank you, guys.
00:45:08Love that.
00:45:09Thank you so much.
00:45:11Up next, Cheddar Gorgeous and Brie Gorgeous.
00:45:15This is Gemma before.
00:45:17And wow, look at her now.
00:45:21Cheddar and Brie, when you came around the corner,
00:45:23it was just about your lust.
00:45:25You had that storyline of kind of, you know,
00:45:27you'd unleashed this terror on the world.
00:45:30You have stage presence and you clearly like it.
00:45:33So, I think overall, great job.
00:45:38Are you cinched?
00:45:40Very.
00:45:40My organs are out of place, yes.
00:45:42As they should be.
00:45:44I say leave them in the workroom next time.
00:45:46Don't even bring them with you.
00:45:47It's beautiful.
00:45:48It's so Blitz Club 1979.
00:45:51Your look is on fire up.
00:45:52Michelle Clapton, she went on to design for Game of Thrones
00:45:56and she would worship this look.
00:45:58Royalty from the planet Gorgeous.
00:46:00Autumn colors.
00:46:02I almost get a sky in Brie's and I get like the sunset in yours.
00:46:06It just all makes sense and it's just...
00:46:10Brie, what did you learn from Cheddar?
00:46:12Watching Cheddar just work has just been incredible.
00:46:15It was so special to be able to put these amazing women up on stage.
00:46:20Because you are wonderful.
00:46:22All of you are wonderful.
00:46:23You're alright too.
00:46:25I've created a month.
00:46:26There we go.
00:46:27Thank you lady.
00:46:30Up next, black pepper and chili pepper.
00:46:33This is Fleur before.
00:46:35This is Fleur before.
00:46:35And look at Fleur now.
00:46:37I love this concept.
00:46:39I think it's really clever and fun.
00:46:41But in the neck down, I sort of wish there'd been just another detail.
00:46:45Just something else going on.
00:46:47Graham's right in the sense that there's this amazing topic.
00:46:50And then there's almost like the bottom half you've forgotten about.
00:46:53More is always a good option.
00:46:55I think that the makeup job you did, black pepper, is beautiful.
00:47:01Black pepper, chili pepper, it's your girl white salt.
00:47:05Hey girl.
00:47:06I love the armor-ness of this dress.
00:47:09It's got details on it.
00:47:11The problem is they're hard to see.
00:47:13It just needed to pop against all the other things.
00:47:15That's all.
00:47:16Black pepper, what was your favorite part of this challenge?
00:47:18Working with Fleur.
00:47:19I was just like, it couldn't have been a better match made in heaven.
00:47:23And then the lengths of the hair.
00:47:24I don't really get along with my family.
00:47:26And when I disconnected it.
00:47:33It was me coming to UK.
00:47:37But no matter how far I am, they will always be with me.
00:47:42So you disconnected and you reconnected with your new chosen family.
00:47:46The family that I've made here.
00:47:48I'm so thankful for them.
00:47:51Feel the love, baby.
00:47:52You are loved and you are welcome.
00:47:55Up next, Dakota Schiffer and Brigitte Schiffer.
00:47:59This is Lucy before and this is her now.
00:48:03You did the brief.
00:48:04It's a makeover and there's a family resemblance there.
00:48:07I'm not sure about the checkered flag thing and quite how that fits into it.
00:48:13Dakota, I'm going to say bravo.
00:48:15And looking at Brigitte's makeup, I see that very graphic 1960s total vibe on her face.
00:48:23I love it.
00:48:24Reminds me of Ready, Steady Go, you know, Bride of Elvis.
00:48:26So beautiful.
00:48:28I love the peach.
00:48:29I think my issue is, Dakota, I'm going to push you again.
00:48:33You are beautiful.
00:48:35You are talented.
00:48:36But you could also do more than you're giving me.
00:48:38Yeah.
00:48:38I know you can.
00:48:39Because I feel like every time it's the same silhouette.
00:48:43You're dreaming.
00:48:44I just want more.
00:48:45Could you blame me?
00:48:46No, I can't blame you, Michelle.
00:48:49Brigitte.
00:48:50Hi.
00:48:51How was this process for you, my darling?
00:48:53I was really nervous beforehand, but my nerves kind of melted away as soon as I was paired
00:48:57with Dakota, really.
00:48:58She's incredible.
00:49:02Just go.
00:49:03Well, thank you, Queens.
00:49:05I think we've heard enough.
00:49:07And to our incredible Queen team for your extraordinary efforts this week and every week.
00:49:13We are awarding each of you a coveted Rue Peter badge.
00:49:24Wear it with pride.
00:49:27While you untuck in the workroom, the judges and I will deliberate.
00:49:33You may leave the stage.
00:49:35Thank you all.
00:49:40Oh, my God.
00:49:43It's like the early days when this room was full.
00:49:46We are back in Untucked and I feel amazing.
00:49:50I can't believe it.
00:49:50Welcome to our world.
00:49:51Welcome to our world.
00:49:52There's very few things that I feel really comfortable doing, but making somebody over,
00:49:57I'm good with it. I love it.
00:49:59I think everyone deserves a round of applause.
00:50:02Yeah.
00:50:03Cheers, everyone.
00:50:04Cheers.
00:50:04Cheers to Drag Race Season 4.
00:50:06My debut.
00:50:07I don't know what the hell's going on tonight.
00:50:09It's so mixed.
00:50:11Mine, they said they didn't get family resemblance.
00:50:14But what I don't understand is there's other people up there that have the same color, like,
00:50:20same color palette but in different ways.
00:50:22It's kind of what I've done.
00:50:24I have the same sort of makeup sort of every time.
00:50:27I'm really inspired by old Hollywood.
00:50:29Looks a bit more like Paul Hollywood though, love.
00:50:30Ha!
00:50:32Stairs for Uncle Rock over here.
00:50:34Ha!
00:50:35Ha!
00:50:36Ha!
00:50:37Well, the thing I'd say about that is I don't know what this outfit or look says about you.
00:50:43Yeah.
00:50:44I can see from a lot of the others, like, what their drag is.
00:50:46There is no specific one look for me because I change my look every single time I do drag.
00:50:51We all change our looks all the time but I feel like a lot of us have something in our
00:50:55look that is still very us.
00:50:58I agree with the judges.
00:50:59I didn't understand why they were dressed like mimes.
00:51:06And I didn't see that they were related at all.
00:51:10Like, you know, I do different looks all of the time.
00:51:12And in each one way I've done, like, something different.
00:51:14But there are things that I know that people find as being my signature.
00:51:19Cheddar, if you think that Gold Leaf is what makes you a drag, that's lovely to think that, darling.
00:51:26But don't come for my drag.
00:51:28I'm not here to be judged by all the queens, I'm here to be judged by the judges.
00:51:32This, you can tell this is a Cheddar look.
00:51:33You can tell this is a Danny look.
00:51:34You can tell this is a Danny look.
00:51:36You can tell this is a Danny look.
00:51:36No fair.
00:51:44I think that was kind of like the opposite of my critique.
00:51:47I think I was so concerned in the first week that they hadn't got my aesthetic.
00:51:52That every single week I've kind of, up until now, I've been like, Valley of the Dolls, 60s.
00:51:57Like, please get it.
00:51:58And now they're like, we get it.
00:52:00Jesus, Dakota.
00:52:02I love being chipper-eyed.
00:52:04Honestly, every single thing about your aesthetic I appreciate.
00:52:07But you've actually made me live my blonde record fantasy.
00:52:10Yes.
00:52:10I always wanted to do.
00:52:11So, thank you.
00:52:13There's definitely a chance I could be in the bottom.
00:52:15And it would be so crushing to go home now.
00:52:18But I'm just so proud of the work we did.
00:52:20And I'm just so proud of Lucy.
00:52:22Pixie babe, how are you feeling?
00:52:23I feel okay.
00:52:24I mean, if I'm in the bottom, it is what it is.
00:52:26I'm happy.
00:52:27I've given Wendy her fairy fantasy that she's always wanted.
00:52:34Oh, Wendy's face.
00:52:35Honey.
00:52:37It's so funny.
00:52:39Wendy was like, I love fairies.
00:52:40And Pixie said, yeah, I'm going to drag you through the mud, girl.
00:52:43She did what Wendy's so bad.
00:52:48I think I could very possibly be lip-syncing still.
00:52:50It could be any of us.
00:52:52It could be any of us.
00:52:52You know.
00:52:53Well, I don't think it's you chatting on it.
00:52:54I don't think it's you chatting on it.
00:52:55You know, if it comes to it, you know.
00:52:57I'll spread a little bit of pixie dust on that stage.
00:52:59And one of you is going home.
00:53:04This has been my most favourite week since I've been here.
00:53:08Absolutely.
00:53:09It means the world, honestly.
00:53:11It's just been our family since we've been here.
00:53:14Well done, everyone.
00:53:16Well done, everyone.
00:53:16Cheers to everyone.
00:53:19Can I take the wig off?
00:53:22Alright, now, just between us squirrel friends,
00:53:24what do you think?
00:53:26Starting with?
00:53:27Jomber's blonde.
00:53:28It was perfectly pleasant,
00:53:30but it didn't make the impact
00:53:32that a lot of the other couples made tonight.
00:53:34They didn't push it enough.
00:53:35They were sisters from other misters, whatever.
00:53:38But she gave them both very chic looks.
00:53:40I don't think it was that bad.
00:53:42I like that they had fun in choreography.
00:53:43They had a thing on the stage.
00:53:45But family resemblance, it has to be obvious.
00:53:49The black and white was not enough to tie it together.
00:53:52Up next, Pixie Polite.
00:53:53I like Pixie.
00:53:55They were adorable together.
00:53:56The outfits were a bit panto.
00:53:59Beautiful, lovely, but rough around the edges.
00:54:04I mean, those pads, they were like lumpy mashed potatoes.
00:54:06I do think she looked beautiful tonight.
00:54:08However, Trixie looked like pow, pow, pow.
00:54:11She took her out.
00:54:12The best thing ever is hearing someone say
00:54:13their makeup makes me look older.
00:54:15I know!
00:54:16You don't ever want to hear one of our guests
00:54:18say they feel like they look older in drag.
00:54:22Okay, up next, Danny Beard.
00:54:24I thought it was really elevated, fashion, stylish.
00:54:27There was a great family resemblance.
00:54:29I love Danny Beard's take on drag
00:54:31because it is this hyper-feminized shape,
00:54:36and then there's a beard.
00:54:38I mean, imagine the first time you ever get to be in drag,
00:54:40you've got to wear a beard.
00:54:42Yeah, I loved it.
00:54:43Laughing in the face of kind of traditional kind of drag.
00:54:46Oh, my goodness.
00:54:47I loved everything about this look.
00:54:50The different color beards, hair, purses.
00:54:53I thought it was a strong night for Danny Beard.
00:54:54Up next, Cheddar Gorgeous.
00:54:56This was out of this world.
00:54:57I mean, literally,
00:54:58they were like a kind of a constellation or something.
00:55:00It was really beautiful.
00:55:01The metallicness of the makeup with the leafing,
00:55:05just those little subtle details that are something that I love.
00:55:08I thought it was just beautiful.
00:55:11Like, they were oozing on the stage together,
00:55:14and they just looked symbiotic.
00:55:15It was a home run.
00:55:17Up next, Black Pepper.
00:55:18I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed.
00:55:21And I guess we've come to expect such wonderful outfits from Black Pepper
00:55:25that in this challenge, for it suddenly to be essentially a little black dress
00:55:31seemed kind of underwhelming.
00:55:33I love what she did from the neck up.
00:55:34We all know about those evenings that you spent so long on the face.
00:55:37You know, you forgot what you were wearing.
00:55:39It did kind of look like she ripped the head off of one Barbie
00:55:42and then stuck it on another and was like,
00:55:45okay, we're going on to the main stage.
00:55:47I think that hair and that story was so powerful.
00:55:50But I also agree with Graham.
00:55:52It's, at this point in the competition, not quite enough.
00:55:56Up next, Dakota Schiffer.
00:55:58Checkered tights and gloves with peach.
00:56:01I love mixing things up and making it go kind of,
00:56:03oh, wow, I would have never thought of that.
00:56:05But I literally would have never thought of that.
00:56:09Dakota likes to do a very beautiful makeup
00:56:12that is suitable for going to a nice dinner.
00:56:16I still feel like she could take it a little further.
00:56:19Not the best night for Dakota, but I thought a wonderful night for Brigitte.
00:56:23I love that Lucy got to do this.
00:56:25I love that she felt so fabulous and looked so fabulous.
00:56:28I think what upsets me is that we saw this look.
00:56:30She just did funny girl, not trying to change the way she does drag.
00:56:33Give us something different because predictability is not a good word here
00:56:37on the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race.
00:56:38And that's where we are with Dakota right now.
00:56:40All right, silence.
00:56:41Silence.
00:56:42I have not made my decision.
00:56:46I need to call RuPaul.
00:56:48Welcome back, ladies.
00:56:53Oh, no, but nobody can go, honestly.
00:56:57Pixie polite.
00:56:59Your garden fairies were beautiful.
00:57:01But some of the details got a little muddy.
00:57:06I'm sorry, my dear.
00:57:07But you are up for elimination.
00:57:12Wow.
00:57:13No wonder.
00:57:16Danny Beard.
00:57:18You and your sister were groovy, baby.
00:57:23Cheddar Gorgeous.
00:57:24You and your sister were out of this world.
00:57:32Cheddar Gorgeous.
00:57:34Condragulations, you are the winner of this week's challenge.
00:57:38Cheddar Gorgeous!
00:57:40Hi.
00:57:42You've earned a coveted Ru Peter badge.
00:57:50I would offer to give it to the Queen team, but you already gave them one, so I guess I'll
00:57:53just keep it.
00:57:55Danny Beard, you are safe.
00:57:57Thank you, judges.
00:57:58Ladies, you may step to the back of the stage.
00:58:06Black Pepper.
00:58:08You're safe.
00:58:10You may join the other girls.
00:58:12Thank you so much.
00:58:12Oh, my God.
00:58:17Jombers Blonde.
00:58:19Your fashion game was spot on, but your family resemblance was a little off.
00:58:28Dakota Schiffer.
00:58:30You and your sister were fab boo, but your makeup and hair were a little deja vu.
00:58:40Dakota Schiffer.
00:58:43I'm sorry, my dear, but you are up for elimination.
00:58:49Since the third lip sync I've been in, you know, I am still fighting, and I really don't want to
00:58:54go home.
00:58:55Oh, please.
00:58:57Please don't cry.
00:59:00Jombers, you're safe.
00:59:02Thank you so much.
00:59:03You may join the other girls.
00:59:11Two queens stand before me.
00:59:15Prior to tonight, you were asked to prepare a lip sync performance of Miss Me Blind by Culture Club.
00:59:25Ladies, this is your last chance to impress us and save yourself from elimination.
00:59:35The time has come for you to lip sync for your life.
00:59:47I love Dakota like a daughter, but sometimes you've just got to leave that baby on the step of the
00:59:52church.
00:59:54Good luck.
00:59:57And boy George.
00:59:59Don't fuck it up.
01:00:00Miss me.
01:00:02Miss me.
01:00:05Miss me.
01:00:12Miss.
01:00:13Miss.
01:00:27Miss me.
01:00:30You turn around on me because I'm better than the rest of the men
01:00:36I say you'll miss me, and you always do
01:00:43I say you'll miss me, now would I lie to you?
01:00:51Now there's no need to demand, wrap my throat on him
01:00:55I'll teach you and you'll never be sure
01:00:58If the way that you need is too much like a dream
01:01:02Decide if you are rich or you're poor
01:01:05Because the love that I have to give must be better than that time
01:01:12It can make you rich, it can make you poor
01:01:17But I know that you're missing me, I lie
01:01:20And I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me
01:01:24I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me, I
01:01:28I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me, but I
01:01:35I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me, I know you'll miss me, but I
01:01:51Let's talk to Rue
01:02:02Ladies, Rue has made her decision
01:02:05them. Pixie Polite, Shantae you stay. You may join the other girls. Thank you.
01:02:30Dakota Schiffer, you fabulous woman you. You put the super in supermodel. Now, sashay away.
01:02:41Thank you for the most incredible experience and letting me finally have confidence in
01:02:49myself. Thank you.
01:03:04The doll has to leave the valley.
01:03:14Wait, I've got an idea. To go out on this moment, like, it's impossible to be sad. I'm
01:03:23so proud of myself. I've done things I never thought I'd be able to do here. I was the
01:03:28first trans woman on Drag Race UK. To be that representation has just been an honor to represent
01:03:33my community.
01:03:36Dakota.
01:03:37Thank you so much.
01:03:38Oh, thank you.
01:03:39You're the best friend.
01:03:40Oh, I'm so proud of you.
01:03:43You are such an incredible queen, such an incredible woman. The world is not ready for Dakota Schiffer.
01:03:48And I have a new sister.
01:03:49I was going to say, oh, I really miss you, babe.
01:03:52You're amazing.
01:03:58Congratulations, queens.
01:03:59In the words of Monnaroo, if you can't love yourself, how the hell are you going to
01:04:04love somebody else?
01:04:06Can I get an amen up at her?
01:04:08Amen!
01:04:08Yes!
01:04:09Now let the music play.
