00:00Previously on 1,000 Pound Sisters.
00:03This is my bachelor's party!
00:06Sorry if I hit you!
00:08Whoa!
00:09Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry!
00:12Look, Tammy, I can't live like this.
00:17I don't want to hurt her whatsoever,
00:19but I want her to know what's at stake.
00:22She needs help or I'm gone.
00:25I have a meeting with the eye doctor in a few days,
00:28and if that goes well,
00:30I'll be having eye surgery within the next couple days after that.
00:34When I hear that my bride is having an appearance-altering surgery
00:37one week before her wedding,
00:40it raises some concerns.
00:42What can we help you find?
00:44Her sister's wedding's coming up, so...
00:47Something bled.
00:48I decided to go to Amy's wedding
00:50because I love her, I'm proud of her,
00:52so why not go?
00:54So how did your last doctor's appointment come?
00:57It's fine.
00:58Now that I'm not so big,
01:00my medication was too high for my body size.
01:06It was making me have, like, a mental breakdown.
01:09I'm not talking about that right now.
01:12Oh, okay.
01:14I feel like we're making progress,
01:15and then she backtracks.
01:18I try to calm her down,
01:19but it's hard sometimes.
01:23You okay?
01:41I've waited my whole life to get this appointment.
01:44I'm excited for you, dear.
01:46Today I got an eye doctor's appointment,
01:48and this could be the final appointment
01:50before I get approved for my eye surgery
01:53to fix my lazy eye.
01:56If it all goes well,
01:57I'll have surgery, like, tomorrow.
02:00Is it exciting?
02:02No, it's scary.
02:07It'd mean the world to me
02:08to look back at my wedding photos
02:10and be like, I was the most beautiful then
02:12because, like, my eyes were fixed, you know?
02:17You're beautiful.
02:18You ain't gonna Photoshop my eye.
02:20I don't Photoshop your eye.
02:23No, I'm a photographer.
02:24Oh.
02:26My wedding is 10 days away,
02:28and people probably will say
02:30it is crazier getting eye surgery
02:32so close to the wedding,
02:34but this is more important to me.
02:36At the end of the day,
02:37I want to look perfect in my wedding.
02:40I don't even know how to say, like,
02:41put into words, like,
02:43just how much it means to me.
02:45Yeah.
02:46Heck, I wish you'd have had it
02:47when you was a kid
02:48so you wouldn't have had to go through
02:50so much crap with bullies
02:52and sucky, mean people.
02:55All right, babe,
02:56we're pulling up to the valet.
02:59The doctor needs to see
03:01the scars in my eyes
03:02before I can even get qualified
03:05for surgery.
03:06And I'm like, really,
03:08H is because I really want this so bad.
03:10I don't want to go back home
03:12saying I didn't get a pre-debtor on,
03:14but I don't know what's going to happen.
03:17And the unknown is scaring me.
03:30You sure you push my fat butt?
03:32I know, I do.
03:34Things have been so crazy lately
03:37with my moods.
03:39I hate to admit it,
03:40but I was, like,
03:42even going off of my mom
03:43for no reason,
03:45and that's not me.
03:47So I just decided
03:49to take mom out
03:50for a nice lunch
03:51as an apology.
03:55We don't need another video, though.
03:57I ain't looking at that.
03:58I was wondering what I was there.
04:01I'm just watching.
04:03I hate it so much.
04:05I don't know.
04:06Just go ahead and take one.
04:09It's super crowded.
04:11I can't go in there.
04:16Why not?
04:18I can't.
04:22Lord have mercy.
04:24Normally, I love it
04:26when I get to spend time
04:27with Tammy,
04:29but right now,
04:30she's ranting and braving.
04:32I'm like,
04:33what the hell are you doing now?
04:35I'm not going in there.
04:48See a birthday cake,
04:50a hand,
04:51a bird,
04:52a horse.
04:55You see those?
04:56Mm-mm.
04:57I'm blind as hell.
05:00We knew this.
05:02Today, I'm meeting
05:03with a doctor
05:04to see if I'm
05:05eligible for eye surgery.
05:09Well, hello.
05:10Hello.
05:11How are you?
05:11Good, how are you?
05:12Sean Donahue.
05:13Nice to see you.
05:13Nice to meet you.
05:14It means the world to me
05:16that I'm so close
05:17to getting to fix my eyes,
05:19but if the doctors say
05:20I can't be approved
05:21for eye surgery,
05:22I am going to be devastated.
05:25I hear we want to try
05:26to get this eye straight.
05:28Mm-hmm.
05:28Tell me about it.
05:29It's been crooked
05:30my whole life
05:31if I was born like that.
05:32So, like,
05:33they were telling me
05:34there's no possible
05:35illity to fix it,
05:36and then I went
05:37for a checkup one day
05:38to see how bad
05:39they were or whatever.
05:40They were like,
05:41yeah, there is a way
05:42to fix it.
05:43That's all I do.
05:45We'll talk and see
05:46if you are a candidate
05:47to get this eye straightened.
05:49Sound like a good plan?
05:50Yeah.
05:50Awesome.
05:52I want you to just
05:53look down there.
05:54I'm going to look
05:54and see how your pupils
05:55are reacting.
05:56Way up here.
05:59Way down here.
06:00And way over there.
06:02I want to point
06:02something out to you.
06:03Yes, sir.
06:03Okay.
06:05As she looks down,
06:06look right down here
06:07towards me,
06:08her eyes are pretty straight.
06:10Mm-hmm.
06:10When she looks up,
06:12the eyes drift way out.
06:14Yeah.
06:14The other thing
06:15I want to point out
06:15is that she comes this way
06:16and starts to look up.
06:18This eye,
06:19the good eye,
06:20starts to drift up and out.
06:22Did you see that?
06:22That tells me
06:23that this has been going on
06:24for a long, long time.
06:26Stravismus is misalignment
06:28of the eyes.
06:28It can be caused
06:29by a number
06:30of different things
06:31and it can be
06:32in a number
06:32of different directions.
06:33It can be horizontal.
06:35It can be vertical.
06:36That's why Amy
06:37has her pre-op examination.
06:38I want to see
06:39how much misalignment
06:40that she has
06:41and then based upon that,
06:42we'll determine
06:43what we need to do.
06:45Your left eye is drifting out
06:46because you don't see
06:47in that left eye
06:48and so there's been
06:48no incentive
06:49for the brain
06:50to keep the eyes straight.
06:51That's a horizontal misalignment
06:53and that's what's
06:54going on here, okay?
06:55The question is
06:56what do we do
06:56about it, right?
06:57There are six muscles
06:59that pull each eye.
07:00We get at those muscles
07:01by making a little opening
07:02on the white part
07:03of the eye.
07:04The white part
07:04of the eye is skin.
07:05We'll take that skin,
07:07we'll set it back,
07:08we'll get the muscle
07:08and clean it off
07:09and then we'll tighten
07:10the muscle that pulls
07:11the left eye in
07:13and to loosen the muscle
07:14that pulls the left eye out.
07:17So am I approved
07:19for the surgery?
07:25Absolutely.
07:26We certainly can do this.
07:28How about that?
07:29That's awesome, baby.
07:31Now, the goal of surgery
07:33is to get these eyes straight
07:34but the fact of the matter
07:35is right after surgery
07:37when you finish that day
07:39and you end up going home,
07:40that eye is going
07:41to be crossed in.
07:41It may look really crossed in
07:44because the muscle
07:47that I tighten
07:48has to loosen.
07:49It will take about
07:50seven to ten days
07:52until it's quite a bit better.
07:55I got a wedding
07:55in like ten days.
08:01Amy did surprise me
08:02when she said her wedding
08:03was in ten days.
08:04That's a really short
08:05time period
08:06and Amy has to realize
08:07that she may still have
08:09some significant redness
08:10and she may still have
08:11a little overcorrection
08:12in seven to ten days.
08:14The other thing
08:15I want to mention
08:15is that you've got
08:16two issues
08:17with your eye alignment.
08:18The big thing
08:19that you see
08:20is that the eye
08:21is drifting way out.
08:23But the second thing
08:24is you've got
08:24a big difference
08:25in the deviation
08:26when you look up
08:27and when you look down.
08:29So I have to correct
08:30both of those things.
08:32That means that
08:33both eyes need
08:34to have surgery.
08:43Does that make sense?
08:45Yeah, I just
08:45wasn't prepared for it.
08:47I didn't know
08:48that my right eye
08:49ventured off too.
08:51So that was
08:52the day of curveball
08:52when he told me
08:53I had to have
08:54eye surgery
08:55in both eyes.
08:56I'm like,
08:59that's even harder
09:01because my right eye
09:02is my good one.
09:03That's my dominant one.
09:05That's more scarier
09:06than getting
09:06the left one done.
09:08Like, I'm all right
09:08with losing vision
09:09in the left one.
09:10I ain't got no vision
09:11no way.
09:12But the right one's
09:12my baby.
09:16I just want to feel
09:16beautiful on my wedding day.
09:19All right,
09:20we're all on the same page then.
09:22I think we can make
09:23this a whole lot
09:24better for you.
09:25It may still be
09:25a little bit red,
09:26but I think we'll get
09:27these eyes straight
09:28enough for this wedding.
09:32Now, we're going
09:32to balance that goal
09:34against the risks
09:35of surgery.
09:36We have never
09:37had anybody lose vision
09:39from eye muscle surgery
09:40here at Vanderbilt.
09:41That doesn't mean
09:42that it couldn't
09:43happen to you.
09:45The risks are,
09:46you know,
09:46bleeding, infection
09:47and loss to vision.
09:51There's always a chance
09:53in any surgery
09:53that something
09:54can go wrong
09:55or complication,
09:56but this one,
09:58you just might
09:59lose your vision too.
10:00And having a knife
10:02that close to my brain,
10:03that's kind of
10:04a scary thought.
10:06or anesthesia,
10:07messing up,
10:08him sneezing,
10:10and there goes
10:10my vein in my eye.
10:13There goes my vision.
10:15Like, I want to be able
10:16to see my kids,
10:17damn it.
10:23Oh,
10:24you like outfits?
10:26No.
10:28Man, what's going
10:29on with this year?
10:31Amy's got you
10:31in a dress
10:32for the art show,
10:33now the wedding?
10:34That's like a world
10:35record for your ass.
10:36She paying me
10:37on the side.
10:38Is that what it is?
10:39She had to bribe
10:40your ass?
10:41Okay, you ready?
10:43It's just scary
10:44because he might
10:45cut the wrong pipe
10:47and I'd be blind.
10:48I just hope
10:49and pray
10:49that I made
10:50the right decision.
11:07Tammy was upset
11:09and dramatized
11:10like she used to
11:11when she was big.
11:14Calm down.
11:19I don't think
11:20they had that
11:21fish tank
11:21when I was here last.
11:22Yes, they did.
11:24Andrea told me
11:25that something
11:26was going on wrong
11:27with Tammy,
11:28but it's the first time
11:30I see that myself.
11:34Right here
11:35would be better,
11:36right, Tammy?
11:37Yeah.
11:38There's too many people
11:38in here.
11:39I'm overwhelmed.
11:44Since going
11:45and getting help,
11:47getting my medicine
11:48changed,
11:50my mental health
11:50has gotten better.
11:52But sometimes
11:54it still feels like
11:55I'm getting
11:56really overwhelmed
11:58easy.
12:00It was so chaotic
12:02in the restaurant,
12:04it overwhelms me.
12:08You want me
12:08pushing you?
12:09No, you're just
12:10going to get me
12:11some turkey.
12:12Well, just get me
12:13a piece of the chicken.
12:15And some vegetables.
12:17And that's it.
12:18I don't eat
12:19like I used to.
12:21My mom
12:22has been
12:25heavyset
12:25most of her life
12:26and I think
12:27seeing me
12:28put in
12:30work
12:31has motivated her.
12:33I mean,
12:34she hasn't told me
12:35but I'm just
12:35kind of guessing.
12:37What'd you get?
12:40Nice potatoes,
12:41gravy,
12:42chicken.
12:42There we go.
12:45What kind of chicken
12:46is that?
12:46Baked chicken.
12:47Oh.
12:48Yours is too.
12:49And then that's
12:49peas,
12:51salad,
12:52and cottage cheese.
12:54I went from
12:55size 6X
12:56down to
12:573 to 4X
12:59in two months.
13:01What's the secret?
13:02Stop eating.
13:06I've got my teeth
13:07fixed.
13:08Did you notice?
13:09I noticed that
13:10and I like them.
13:11I'm not used
13:12to the bottom plate yet.
13:14Honey,
13:14I don't think
13:14you ever get used
13:15to the bottom plate.
13:16I never did.
13:21Are they like dentures?
13:23Aren't you
13:23them plants?
13:28Oh.
13:32You said
13:33they were
13:33implants.
13:34I thought
13:34that.
13:36It's the first
13:37time in a while
13:38that mom's
13:39seen, like,
13:41me with a full
13:42mouth of teeth.
13:44I'm still
13:45trying to get
13:46used to it.
13:48I'm in a size
13:4912, no,
13:4910 in jeans
13:51right now.
13:51I don't think
13:52I've ever
13:52wore a size
13:5310 in jeans
13:55or anything.
13:55Well, you wore
13:55size 10 in pants
13:57when you was
13:58that seven
14:00or eight.
14:02What size
14:03is Amy?
14:04I don't know.
14:08Amy's supposed
14:08to have that
14:09surgery in her eye
14:10tomorrow.
14:11It's awful
14:11close to the
14:12wedding.
14:13I hope it works
14:14out for her.
14:16I do,
14:17Jo.
14:18I know
14:19getting eye
14:19surgery is
14:20really important
14:21to Amy,
14:22and I just
14:23hope whatever
14:23she's getting
14:24done helps
14:25her feel
14:27better about
14:27herself and
14:28her appearance.
14:29I'm a little
14:30scared because
14:31it's so close
14:32to her wedding
14:32because of
14:33bruising and
14:34the scarring.
14:36But hey,
14:37maybe that's
14:38what she's
14:38going for.
14:38That's her
14:39aesthetic.
14:40A spooky
14:41bride.
14:42Bride of
14:43Chucky.
14:47I'd like
14:48to go to
14:48the wedding,
14:49but I
14:50can't make it
14:50up the stairs.
14:52I always
14:53be peed,
14:53but I don't,
14:54I mean.
14:55But you don't
14:56know if you're
14:57going to get
14:57to go or not?
14:59It's not that
15:00I don't think
15:01I'm going to
15:01get to go.
15:02It's just I
15:03don't feel like
15:03she really truly
15:04wants me there
15:05because she
15:06hasn't come to
15:07me herself
15:07and said,
15:08hey, I want
15:09me there.
15:10There's been
15:11signs to know
15:12that she still
15:13wants me
15:14part of
15:14their life.
15:15I'd show up
15:16just even if
15:17she didn't
15:17really want
15:18you there.
15:20A few days
15:21ago, I did
15:22decide to go
15:23to Amy's
15:23wedding,
15:25but I still
15:27kind of feel
15:27like she
15:27doesn't want
15:28me there.
15:29At this point,
15:31I'm still
15:31trying to figure
15:32it out if I
15:33really am
15:33going to go
15:33to Amy's
15:34wedding.
15:44Hi, guys.
15:45At this point,
15:46I'm going to
15:46take just Amy
15:47back with us
15:48and then we'll
15:48bring you back
15:49in just a little
15:50while when we
15:50get the IV
15:50started.
15:51Okay.
15:52All right,
15:52honey.
15:53Have fun,
15:53babe.
15:54All right,
15:54give me a kiss.
15:55Love you.
15:56Get all the smooches.
15:57All the smooches.
15:57All right,
15:58sweetie.
15:58Good.
15:59This surgery to
16:00me is really
16:01more important
16:01than me to
16:02anything I've
16:03ever endured.
16:05I've been bullied
16:05more about my
16:06eyesight than my
16:07weight.
16:09If the surgery
16:10goes well,
16:10my eye won't
16:11be lazy anymore.
16:13Finally,
16:13nobody will
16:14ever bully me
16:15again.
16:16Amy, how
16:17tall are you?
16:17Like 5'4".
16:19How much
16:20do you weigh?
16:20Uh, 222.
16:23It's just
16:24scary because
16:25it's like he
16:26might cut the
16:27wrong pipe and
16:28I'd be
16:28blind.
16:29You never
16:30know.
16:30Not pipe,
16:31vein,
16:32something,
16:32muscle.
16:40Hey,
16:40babe.
16:41Hey,
16:41baby.
16:42You good?
16:43Mm-hmm.
16:44I'm ready to
16:46get some food.
16:47I'm hungry.
16:50I'm serious.
16:51I'm hungry.
16:55Well,
16:55hey there.
16:56Hey.
16:56Welcome back.
16:58How are you
16:58doing?
16:59I'm doing well.
17:00How are you
17:01doing today?
17:01I'm good.
17:03You're looking
17:03awfully nervous.
17:06Today,
17:07we're going to
17:07realign Amy's eyes.
17:08We're going to
17:09move the muscles
17:09that move the eyes
17:10to be able to
17:11bring the eyes
17:11back to straight.
17:13Anytime you make
17:14an incision in the
17:15skin of the eye,
17:16you run the risk
17:16of bleeding and
17:17infection.
17:17And then you're
17:18always worried
17:19about anesthetic
17:19concerns, but in
17:20someone who's
17:21otherwise reasonably
17:22healthy, they should
17:23also be very low
17:24percentage as well.
17:25The procedure will
17:26take about an hour
17:27and a half.
17:27Are you ready?
17:29Let's get you some
17:29straight eyes, okay?
17:32It's all going to be
17:33good, babe.
17:37I want straight eyes
17:39so bad, but there's
17:41always stuff that can
17:42go wrong.
17:42So, I just hope and
17:45pray that I made
17:46the right decision.
18:20This is just some oxygen, okay?
18:24So today, Amy's going in for surgery to have her lazy eye repaired, and in order to repair
18:30that, he's also got to work on the other eye, so she'll be getting surgery on both eyes
18:34today.
18:35I'd say my biggest worry is the anesthesia, because, I mean, there's always a chance you
18:40don't come out of it, I guess.
18:42So I mean, I'm hoping for the best, but it is tough to just have to sit and wait.
18:47Okay, you ready?
18:48Yeah.
18:49I'm going to table up maybe just one more little pump.
18:52One more.
18:52That's good.
18:54Now we've got Amy asleep.
18:55She's ready to go.
18:56So we'll prep both eyes, put an instrument in her eyelids, and we'll start the surgery.
19:01Up and into elevation, like that.
19:13We're going to make an incision in the skin of the eye on the left side, and we'll loosen
19:17the outside muscle.
19:18We'll then rotate the eye into the position that we want it to be.
19:22In other words, we'll bring it in this way, and we'll sew the outside pulling muscle back.
19:27All right, we are done with the left eye, and then we'll go over to the other side.
19:31You're going to grab right there, Eric.
19:33I'm going to grab right here.
19:34Here.
19:35Mm-hmm.
19:36Perfect.
19:37But what we have to correct on the right eye is that over elevation.
19:40So we're going to correct the muscle that's causing those eyes to drift out when she looks
19:44up, and have less outward drift when she looks down.
19:52We're closing.
19:55All right.
19:56Great job, guys.
20:09Hey, Amy.
20:11How are we doing?
20:12I just got really bad at it.
20:14Yeah, I'm sorry.
20:15That's pretty common after General Anesthesia.
20:18That's going to get better, but the nurses are going to really help you with that.
20:22Surgery went beautifully.
20:24I think you're going to do beautifully for your wedding.
20:26I'm looking forward to seeing you post-op.
20:28You just get some rest, okay?
20:30Bye.
20:31Thank you so much.
20:32You're very welcome.
20:34Amy did great.
20:35The surgery couldn't have gone any better.
20:37We did exactly what we said we wanted to do.
20:39I'm really excited to see how she's going to do.
20:42My biggest concern about Amy and the wedding, though, is what her expectations are.
20:47Because those eyes are going to be red, especially that one on the left side.
20:51And she's probably still going to have another week or two after the wedding when it's still
20:55going to be getting better.
20:59Hey, baby.
21:09You okay?
21:12The doctor said it went great.
21:18Yeah.
21:19Why is it?
21:22You can't open them?
21:28How are we feeling?
21:29Are we hungry?
21:31Yeah, but I'm not sure how I'm going to eat it with my eyes closed.
21:36Well, we can try something like pudding, applesauce.
21:41I think I have chips.
21:45Chips would work better.
21:49Chips.
21:50Chips.
21:51Chips.
22:00Chips.
22:00Your diet don't count on you, and you can't open to see what you're eating.
22:10Just because I didn't see what they mean, don't know whether you did.
22:16Are you able to open your eyes at all?
22:18Oh, yeah.
22:19Look at that.
22:21They're a little red, but you can open them.
22:23They look good.
22:24Heck yeah.
22:26I can see general shape.
22:27Okay, let me see.
22:28You have brown hair.
22:29I do.
22:30Well, they're more like black, but yeah.
22:32Well.
22:32Okay, that looks good.
22:33What about the eye bleeding?
22:35How long is that going to go on?
22:36Wait, what?
22:37Shouldn't be too long.
22:38What?
22:39It just, it definitely stopped.
22:40That's why we're, that's why we're doing this.
22:43I'm the virgin Mary crying blood over here.
22:48I mean, right after the surgery, I think it looked, um, straighter.
22:54I mean, I didn't get to see it very much.
22:55She just kind of barely cracked her eye open, but it looked like it's going to look good
22:59when it's all said and done.
23:00But, uh, we won't know anything for sure until she's fully healed, which, I mean, could take
23:06a couple weeks, three weeks.
23:08The wedding's in a week.
23:10So, we're hoping for the best there, but we'll see.
23:20Hello?
23:21What's up, girl?
23:24Nothing.
23:24We're here with the girls getting fitted for their dresses for Amy's wedding.
23:32Honestly, it does bother me that I'm not involved with Amy's wedding.
23:49Is Misty here?
23:51Well, she should be.
23:53With Amy's wedding coming up here in less than two weeks, Brittany and the other bridesmaids
23:58got to get fitted for their dresses, especially Brittany.
24:01She's lost a lot of weight since she's had her surgery.
24:04But the real reason why I'm tagging along today is because it would keep my mind occupied
24:09while Amy's having her surgery.
24:12I haven't heard anything from Brian or them or anything yet.
24:17Hopefully, Brian remembers to call you.
24:19He might, as long as the squirrel don't come running in front of him before he has to call
24:24me if he's tracking what he's doing.
24:26Uh-huh.
24:28You ready?
24:29Yeah.
24:30I'm going to have to have some fabric to lose.
24:35Next.
24:36I guess I'll go last.
24:38I think I can count on one hand how many times I've seen Misty in a dress.
24:45Unless Lynette with makeup.
24:47Oh, that's a guarantee.
24:52Oh, you like how it fits?
24:55No.
24:57Man, what's going on with this year?
25:00Amy's out here got you in a dress for the art show, now the wedding?
25:03That's like a world record for your ass.
25:06She paying me on the side.
25:07Is that what it is?
25:08She had to bribe your ass?
25:10Yeah, I can believe it.
25:13I feel naked.
25:16What?
25:16Wait, you try holding this thing up.
25:19Well, you got more of a bear than I do.
25:21So you're probably good.
25:23I was raised with six women in the same house, and believe it or not, with my family, there
25:29was no censorship.
25:32And I'm always outnumbered.
25:34So if I don't have a big presence in the conversation or argument, I'm screwed.
25:41I don't even know what these little cups are for in here.
25:45What they for?
25:46Hadn't, ain't it?
25:48Way up here.
25:49Boob way down there.
25:50Uh.
25:56Your dress looks good on you, man.
25:59You need a turtle name?
26:00I'm going.
26:00You need to add a turtleneck on to her.
26:02I needed something to cover up all my stuff.
26:05Brittany is a whole lot more conservative and shy.
26:09If it's any kind of a V-neck at all, my wife's already talking about, okay, I'll just have
26:14to wear a white shirt under it.
26:16I support her 100%.
26:19That's one of them situations, if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
26:24I don't show all my stuff.
26:26I ain't showing all my stuff either.
26:28No, we don't.
26:30She's got me feeling ashamed over here.
26:32Oh, Lord.
26:33Like, ah, leave.
26:35Wrap a sheet around me.
26:37We love Amy.
26:38We're going to do whatever she wants us to do for a special date.
26:41But the dresses ain't, you know, personally something that I would pick for myself.
26:47No.
26:49Brittany, what you think?
26:50I think it's okay, because I modify everything to be more modest for me, so.
26:57Yeah, you look modest.
26:59We know you as modest.
27:01We know that.
27:04Okay.
27:04So, what do you need?
27:06Yeah, so, just to take the shoulders in some, and...
27:09Okay.
27:10Yeah.
27:10I think it will be one inch shorter.
27:14Yeah, and I think that'll do it.
27:15Okay.
27:16Yeah, sure.
27:18Hey, Brad.
27:21Hey, Chris.
27:22What's going on, man?
27:24I just called to let you know Amy is out of surgery.
27:27Everything's good.
27:29Everything went all right?
27:31Yep.
27:32I got to see her.
27:33She can't really open her eyes yet, but she is crying tears of blood, so that's interesting.
27:40It just sounds painful.
27:42That sound bad.
27:43That don't even sound good.
27:45Oh, she's doing good, but she's crying blood.
27:47That don't even sound right.
27:51Well, I'm glad to hear everything went okay.
27:53All right.
27:53Talk to you later, Chris.
27:54All right, Brad.
27:55Cheers.
27:56All right.
27:56See you.
27:57I'm glad for Amy.
27:59It's one hell of a sense of relief.
28:02Everything went good, so really, that's all that matters.
28:05But I need to go ahead and give Tammy a call.
28:08Even though Tammy and Amy are not seeing eye to eye, Tammy needs to know that Amy's okay.
28:18Hello?
28:19What's up, girl?
28:21Nothing.
28:22Well, I'm calling to tell you that Brian finally let us know that Amy come out of surgery just fine.
28:30All right.
28:34All right, sis.
28:35I just wanted to let you know what's going on.
28:39You know, as I talk to Tammy and I tell her, you know, Amy come through the surgery fine,
28:45and she's just nonchalantly acting like she don't care.
28:49But that's a better reaction than it could have been.
28:51At least I didn't get hung up and cussed out.
28:57We're here with the girls getting fitted for their dresses for Amy's wedding.
29:06You doing all right?
29:08Yeah, I'm all right.
29:10All right.
29:11Well, if you need anything, give me a holler.
29:12I'm going to get off here.
29:14All right.
29:15Bye.
29:16I'm glad that Amy did something to make herself feel better, and I'm proud of her.
29:22And I'm glad she came out of surgery great.
29:26But I do wish things were different between us.
29:29Maybe I could have gone with her or shown her more support.
29:38And honestly, it does bother me that I'm not involved with Amy's wedding.
29:45I told him I wanted a built-in girl to own over here.
29:48I hate girls.
29:56Since my eye surgery, the healing process is going really slow.
30:01The most concerning thing is that the whole point of me getting the surgery before the wedding
30:05is to have straight eyes on my wedding day for my photos.
30:09But now they're pointed inward instead of outward.
30:20Bum, bum, bum, bum.
30:22Bum, bum, bum, bum.
30:26My eye hurts.
30:28Dang it, babe.
30:30Our wedding's tomorrow, and I'm feeling anxious.
30:34My eye's killing me.
30:36They're so irritating and stuff, I can barely keep the damn thing open.
30:40So this morning, I decided to do something dramatic to my look.
30:48I went to the salon to get my hair turned pink.
30:51Anything to do to cover up the fact that my eye's still healing,
30:54and I'm a little bit nervous about it.
30:56All right, babe.
31:02Okay, I do like this.
31:03I told you you would.
31:06Yeah, this is better than what I thought it would be.
31:08I told you.
31:09Yeah.
31:11We have the rings, the dress, the tuxes, the homemade centipedes, or centipedes.
31:22The homemade centipedes.
31:26We had to turn around and get the marriage license, so we got that.
31:30Yeah, we would have been here a long time ago if we hadn't had to turn around and get that.
31:35Right.
31:36Well, I hate that your eye ain't where you want it, but...
31:40See if these glasses will help.
31:42Throw your glasses on, see if it'll help, mama.
31:46It just feels agitated as...
31:49We're on our way to the wedding venue.
31:51Today is a rehearsal dinner, and my left eye has been bothering me all day long.
31:56My right eye, I feel like I lost the stitches a couple days ago, but today, my left eye feels
32:02like I have a grain of sand in it.
32:05Hell.
32:05I feel like there's a whole damn sandcastle up in there.
32:10Almost everybody I know will be in that room.
32:12Is that right?
32:13We sent out 60 invitations, got 42 RSVPs.
32:18That's a bunch.
32:20I'm extremely nervous because me and Brian got a RSV from Tammy, but who knows if she's going to come
32:27or not.
32:28I'm a little bit worried about the boys tonight.
32:31They're probably already on 100, though, and then.
32:34Thank God for my niece, because she's going to drive up with the boys and watch them for us.
32:40We wouldn't be able to make it without her help, because them two are crazy.
32:44Right.
32:46I'm hoping the wedding goes without a hitch.
32:49I'm hoping everything's right.
32:50I'm hoping the boys are on their best behavior.
32:52My family's on their best behavior.
32:54Because I put in a lot of work on this wedding.
32:57This was supposed to be my dream wedding that I never got to have.
33:01And, like, my do-over and my reset button.
33:07Here comes the bride.
33:10All dressed in black.
33:12Since the boys are in the wedding, we do need them for the rehearsal.
33:15Come here, come here. Come with me. Come with me.
33:18But there's just so much going on.
33:20I'm just, like, overwhelmed.
33:23We all know how the boys are. Let the boys be the boys.
33:26Yeah, those boys are good.
33:27There he is.
33:37Hey!
33:38Hey, what are you doing?
33:39Come up. It's cold as hell.
33:42Today we are at Talbert Tavern for Amy's rehearsal.
33:46Amy wanted some place that's supposed to have some kind of supernatural feeling to it.
33:51So I'm sure there's some ghost stories about the place.
33:55That being said, this place is a lot better than a haunted, crazy asylum.
33:59That one had demonic spirits.
34:01But I'm telling you right now, if something takes off across the room and ain't nobody holding on to it,
34:06I'll be the first one to get the hell up out of here.
34:09Hi!
34:11Y'all look so Halloween-y. I love it.
34:13We did it for y'all.
34:14Yeah, of course.
34:15Oh, I love those.
34:18Hey, you're also Halloween-y.
34:20Yep.
34:21Nice!
34:22Can we put a candle on your head?
34:26Can I throat punch you?
34:28Most people don't ask.
34:30I wore the outfit I wore because Brittany told me to.
34:33Yep.
34:34It was a gesture to make Amy feel special.
34:38But if Amy would have told us we'd have had to wear that,
34:41we would have bitched and moaned and complained.
34:44That's just us.
34:45And probably not worried.
34:46Yeah.
34:48Are you ready?
34:49My eyes bother me a little bit today.
34:52Well...
34:53Like the stitches.
34:54I know the stitches are about to fall out, so they're kind of...
34:57Bitchy.
34:57Yeah.
34:59Right this minute, I'm not able to tell a difference
35:02because of the way she's having to keep her eyes squinting.
35:06Are we going to have to get her a pirate patch for the wedding day?
35:10I'll go Habs.
35:14We can get her a pirate's outfit for the reception.
35:19It'll be funny.
35:20She won't block your ass next.
35:24You mean I might give some piece?
35:29Oh!
35:30Hey!
35:32What's up?
35:33What is going on?
35:34I'm partying in the hallway.
35:38What is this?
35:42Girl, your hair and your eye.
35:43What?
35:44You look pretty.
35:45That is amazing.
35:47I love the look.
35:47You look awesome.
35:49I'm looking straight at Amy's face and I'm like, she does have a little swelling.
35:55She's got a little irritation where the stitches are healing, but you know, she's not looking
36:00to the side anymore, and I hope tomorrow is ten times better than this.
36:05Hello, hello.
36:06Hello.
36:08Would you all like to go into the ceremony area and we'll get started on the rehearsal?
36:13Okay.
36:13Okay.
36:14So Amy sent me some pictures of her eye after the surgery and it was very swollen.
36:20And then today I see it and it does look better, but I'm just afraid she's not going to be
36:26as happy
36:26in her wedding pictures as she was thinking that she was going to be.
36:29And I'd hope that for tomorrow that it'll look a lot better.
36:33How is everybody?
36:36Good, good, good.
36:38So everybody in here, we have to have our flower boy and our pillow boy.
36:43Can we get them out here?
36:44Yeah.
36:45Okay, let's get them in here.
36:47Gage's job at the wedding is be the ring bearer.
36:50Glenn's job would be technically the flower person.
36:53Since the boys are in the wedding, we do need them for the rehearsal, but I don't know how this
36:58is going to go.
36:59The chaos is about to happen.
37:02Look who we've got coming in.
37:03What's up?
37:04Hey, here's our stars.
37:08You want to have a seat?
37:09What's up, bud?
37:09Are you all ready for the big day?
37:11Yeah.
37:12Yeah?
37:12Are you excited?
37:15They're going to run around.
37:15Okay, just run around.
37:17The boys are just nine kinds of crazy.
37:19They ain't never been here.
37:21They're wanting to explore.
37:23Hey, you going to help me up here?
37:25All right.
37:26No, no, Gage.
37:28Like, they're just ready to play.
37:29All the way to the back of the line.
37:31You got to go to the back with Mama.
37:33Oh, my goodness.
37:35Gage, no.
37:37To be perfectly honest, I believe Amy is wanting a task out of the boys that they're not able
37:46to perform at the moment because them boys don't have the attention span.
37:52But with that being said, she wants her boys to be part of the wedding.
37:57Is it going to happen?
37:59We'll have to wait and see.
38:00But I seriously, I kind of doubt it that it'll work out the way she wants it to.
38:06Okay, so you are on Amy's right.
38:09Come on.
38:10Amy, they're both in here, so we'll leave them.
38:12Yeah, it's your turn to go, guys.
38:13Let's go.
38:14Come on, guys.
38:15Come on, guys.
38:16It's your turn.
38:17You get to throw your flowers.
38:18Come on.
38:19I'm going to walk with them, okay, a little bit out there and send them down.
38:23The boys, they're boys, and they're going to do their thing.
38:28Maybe they'll be okay tomorrow, but that's to be seen.
38:35No, stay.
38:36Stay.
38:36Told you.
38:37Get in there.
38:38Stay.
38:38Come here.
38:39Come here.
38:39Come with me.
38:39Come with me.
38:40Come with me.
38:43All right.
38:44They're out there.
38:44Hey, come here.
38:45Let me tell you about your gift.
38:47Good luck.
38:48Kelly.
38:53I'm coming, buddy.
38:56Here comes the bride.
38:58All dressed in black.
39:00My uncle Kevin's going to walk me down the aisle.
39:03Kevin's my mom's brother.
39:04He's always been there for his grown-up when my mom was working, so that's why he's giving
39:10me away.
39:12And then we'll do your vows.
39:15We'll discuss that.
39:19During the rehearsal, there's just so much going on.
39:22I'm trying to listen to Billy, trying to listen to Kelly, listen to Brian, listen to everything
39:26and keep an eye on the boys.
39:28No.
39:29Okay.
39:30Stay.
39:31Bye.
39:32I'm just, like, overwhelmed.
39:35These kids are crazy.
39:38Nope.
39:40Okay, it's Dion.
39:41No.
39:42I'll be there in a minute, baby.
39:44Oh, no.
39:48How does everybody feel about it?
39:50Does everybody feel pretty good?
39:52I got a question about the boys.
39:54Are they going to do the flowers and rain?
39:57They're going to come down the aisle?
39:58We're going to try.
39:59We're going to try.
39:59That's what I got a concern with.
40:00It didn't look too good tonight.
40:02Yeah.
40:02I'm sorry.
40:03I ain't beating you, but they're going to do this.
40:04It's okay.
40:05I promise.
40:06We all know how the boys are.
40:07Let the boys be the boys.
40:08Those boys are crazy.
40:10Aw.
40:12They're going to be fine, babe.
40:15If the boys need something, you have all your family here.
40:17You've got your best friends.
40:19You've got your sister-in-laws, your sister.
40:21Have you heard of Tammy's coming?
40:23I have no clue.
40:24She was invited.
40:26Tammy has everybody in the family here ready to support her.
40:31But at the end of the day, the one person she wants here is Tammy.
40:36But if she does show up, I hope good mood Tammy comes to the wedding
40:42and bad mood Tammy keeps her ass at home.
40:46There is plenty of people here to help take care of the boys.
40:49You ain't got nothing to worry about other than this dance you failed to practice.
40:53It's not just the boys.
40:55There's a lot going on.
40:57I'm just hoping and praying my eyes stays open tomorrow.
41:00I worked so hard to get it like this.
41:02I don't want it up at the wedding.
41:05And then there's the dance.
41:06Because I know we haven't practiced.
41:08And who the f*** is going to show up tomorrow
41:10and if they're going to be on their best behavior or not.
41:14I don't want my dream wedding turning into a free-for-all f***ing show.
41:23Next time on 1,000 Pound Sisters.
41:26Happy wedding day.
41:28We're finally getting married today.
41:31Anybody know how to tie a bow tie?
41:34You ain't gonna go over my head, yo.
41:37It's got bell call, homie.
41:39Oh, okay.
41:41I hope to God this is the last time Brian ever has to dress up in a duck.
41:46Because he has no damn clue what's going on in the kitchen.
41:49This stuff should have come with instructions.
41:53Are you ready?
41:54Yeah.
41:55Aw, you look so pretty.
41:57Amy seems like she's in a really good mood.
42:00If Tammy shows up, I hope they behave.
42:02But then again, I hope all of us behave.
42:04It ain't just them that has explosive tempers.
42:14Come in.
42:16I'm ready to walk down this aisle and nothing better go wrong.
42:24Oh, Lord, what the f*** is going to happen now?
