00:00My beloved brothers and sisters in Islam, we begin by praising Allah, the Lord of the world, the most merciful,
00:06the most kind.
00:07We send blessings and salutations upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and all those who follow his
00:15path until the day of judgment.
00:17Today many hearts are heavy, many minds are filled with questions and many conversations revolve around a topic that stirs
00:26both concern and curiosity.
00:29The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel and a question that has been echoed across gatherings and social media is,
00:39is this war a sign of Imam Mahdi's coming?
00:42The coming of Imam Mai is one of the great signs of the end of times and it has been
00:48mentioned in numerous authentic narrations of the Prophet Muhammad.
00:52However, what is essential to remember is that the asterisk, exact timing, asterisks of his appearance is known to no
01:01one but.
01:01Just like many other matters of the unseen, the emergence of Imam Mahdi is part of the divine knowledge that
01:08Allah has kept hidden from his creation.
01:10No scholar, no individual, no political commentator and no world leader holds the key to that knowledge.
01:20The Prophet himself never gave an exact date or time.
01:24He gave us descriptions, signs and characteristics but not a calendar.
01:29Over the centuries, every time a major conflict breaks out in the Muslim world or a powerful leader arises or
01:36turmoil spreads,
01:37people begin to say, perhaps this is a sign of Imam Mahdi's.
01:41Some even go further and name individuals as modding or try to match current events with narrations claiming certainty about
01:51what is to come.
01:53But Islam warns us against speaking about the unseen without knowledge.
01:57Allah says in the Quran, asterisk,
01:59Do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge.
02:03Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart about all those backslash one will be questioned.
02:09Asterisk Shura Alistra 1736
02:12Guessing or speculating about divine matters can lead people into error, fear-mongering and falsehood.
02:19It is part of human nature to want to know the future.
02:23In times of war or disaster, the mind keeps certainty.
02:30People ask, when will this end or is this the beginning of the end?
02:34And while these questions may come from a place of anxiety,
02:38the believer must always ground themselves in trust in a last plan and in humility regarding the unseen.
02:45The Prophet taught us through his behavior and his words that the correct attitude toward the signs of the hour
02:51is not obsession but preparation.
02:54We are not told the time of Imam Mahdi's coming so that we may always remain alert,
02:59always trying to be on the sight of truth no matter when he appears.
03:03When we try to link every major political event,
03:06whether it is the Iran-Israel conflict, unrest in other Muslim lands or global upheaval to the coming of Imam
03:12Mahdi,
03:13we risk not only misleading others but also shifting our focus away from what truly matters.
03:21The purpose of the signs is to awaken our hearts,
03:25not to become points of argument or sensationalism.
03:29If Allah had wanted us to know the exact year or circumstances,
03:32he would have informed us clearly through the Prophet.
03:35But he didn't.
03:36That silence is not neglect, it is divine wisdom.
03:40Some of the narrations related to Imam Mahdi describe a world filled with injustice before his arrival
03:46and how he will lead with justice and equity.
03:49Yes, it is true that we are living in times of great injustice,
03:52but we must realize that injustice has existed throughout history.
03:57Every generation has faced its own form of oppression, war and suffering.
04:01So while these events may resemble the backdrop mentioned in the narrations,
04:05it still does not give us the authority to claim that this is it.
04:10We do not know and that is perfectly okay.
04:12What we do know is how to live today by turning back to Allah,
04:15repenting, serving others and preparing ourselves spiritually.
04:19The exact knowledge of when Imam Mahdi will appear,
04:22how he will appear and in what sequence events will unfold is with Allah alone.
04:27Our role is not to act as if we are informed of the unseen,
04:31but to submit to the one who truly knows it.
04:33Holding on to this principle protects us from spreading false claims,
04:38from falling into confusion
04:40and from creating panic or unrealistic expectations among people.
04:46The signs of the hour are a deeply significant part of Islamic eschatology.
04:53They are meant to serve as reminders for the believers
04:55and as wake-up calls for hearts that may have become heedless.
04:59The Prophet Muhammad mentioned many of these signs,
05:02both minor and major, in great detail.
05:05They include everything from social disorder
05:09to natural disasters,
05:11from the widespread abandonment of prayer
05:14to the rise of unqualified leaders,
05:18from moral decay
05:20to the prevalence of war and bloodshed.
05:25These signs are not there to stir fear or feed curiosity alone.
05:30They are meant to inspire deep introspection
05:32and sincere reflection on the state of our faith
05:35and our connection with Allah.
05:37When believers see these signs manifesting in the world around them,
05:41the reaction should not merely be the
05:43we must be coming or the day of judgment is near,
05:46in a casual or speculative manner.
05:49Rather, the question each person should be asking is,
05:52what does this say about my relationship with Allah
05:56and what am I doing to protect myself and my family in these times?
06:01The signs were given to us not to make us focus on dates or names or political maps,
06:06but to shake us out of heedlessness
06:08and bring us back to the remembrance of our purpose in this life.
06:13Unfortunately, what we often see today is a form of spiritual distraction.
06:17People become so absorbed in decoding prophecies,
06:21matching current events to hadith and predicting global scenarios
06:25that they forget the very purpose behind being told these signs.
06:30Instead of increasing our worship,
06:32improving our character or turning away from sin,
06:35we sometimes fall into argument, speculation and fear-mongering.
06:38This is not the reaction of a heart that understands the message of the signs.
06:43A heart that truly comprehends the signs of the hour
06:45will tremble out of awe of Allah.
06:47It will rush to the prayer mat.
06:49It will seek forgiveness.
06:51It will give in charity and it will work on purifying its inner self.
06:57The Prophet was very clear in warning against excessive speculation and false claims.
07:03He taught that many people would appear near the end of times
07:06who would mislead others by claiming to have special knowledge of the hour
07:10or by pointing to specific events as definitive proof.
07:14But he reminded us that the knowledge of the hour lies only with Allah
07:18and that the signs should be used as guidance,
07:20not as material for sensationalism.
07:24When the companions asked about the hour,
07:27the Prophet would often redirect their focus.
07:29He would say,
07:31what have you prepared for it?
07:33Because the question is not when it will come,
07:36but how ready we are for its arrival.
07:38There is a beautiful wisdom in the signs being general and symbolic.
07:42They are timeless.
07:43They can apply to different generations in different ways.
07:46This allows every believing community in every era to reflect on their own condition.
07:52It allows each of us to read these signs and think,
07:55am I among those described here?
07:57For example, if the signs mention widespread dishonesty or neglect of salah,
08:01we should not be quick to label the world as doom.
08:05Rather, we should look at our own hearts.
08:07Am I truthful?
08:09Am I praying on time?
08:10Am I part of the solution or part of the problem?
08:13If the signs of the hour are not leading us to become better Muslims,
08:17then we have misunderstood them.
08:19They are not meant to be entertainment or talking points for trending videos or viral posts.
08:25They are spiritual alarms.
08:28When an alarm goes off,
08:30you don't sit and analyze the sound.
08:33You wake up.
08:33In the same way,
08:35when we see the signs of the hour unfolding before us,
08:38our first instinct
08:41should be to wake up from our spiritual sleep.
08:44They are a mercy from Allah,
08:46allowing us to return to Him before it is too late.
08:50Ignoring them is dangerous,
08:51but misusing them is equally harmful.
08:54The correct approach lies in using them as tools for sincere change,
08:59not as fuel for baseless conclusions.
09:02In times of global uncertainty,
09:04when conflicts erupt and signs of chaos appear,
09:08many people turn their attention to the end times and the coming of Imamni.
09:13They begin to analyze political events,
09:17natural disasters and societal changes.
09:21Trying to find links between what is happening
09:23and what the Prophet described in the signs of the hour.
09:26While this interest can reflect an awakening of concern and awareness,
09:30it often misses the essential point.
09:32The purpose of these signs is not merely to inform us of what will happen,
09:37but to urge us to prepare ourselves spiritually.
09:40It is a call to action, not speculation.
09:42Preparation for the qura begins with sincere submission to Allah
09:48and personal reform.
09:51If the heart remains attached to the wisdom dunya,
09:56distracted by its temporary glitter and distant from Allah,
10:00then no amount of knowledge about end-time events will benefit a person.
10:04Preparing oneself for the coming of Imamni,
10:07or more broadly for the eventual meeting with Allah,
10:10is not about storing food supplies or learning political analysis.
10:14It is about the soul.
10:16It is about standing in front of the mirror and asking difficult questions.
10:21Am I fulfilling my obligations to Allah?
10:24Do I perform my prayers on time with presence of heart and mind?
10:30Do I treat others with kindness, honesty and mercy?
10:33Have I cleansed my income, my dealings and my intentions?
10:37These are the signs of true readiness.
10:40The Marti's arrival will not transform our character overnight.
10:44Those who were unjust before his arrival may oppose him.
10:47Those who were sincere before he came will support him.
10:51So our actions today determine which side we would stand on tomorrow.
10:55It is also important to understand that readiness is not a one-time act.
11:00It is a lifelong journey of returning to Allah again.
11:05And again, people often say,
11:08when the Imai comes, I'll fix myself.
11:10I'll start praying.
11:12I'll become religious then.
11:15But the truth is,
11:17if we are not loyal to Allah during times of ease,
11:21we may not be among those chosen to stand firm
11:25during times of trial.
11:28Imami will not come to create believers out of thin air.
11:32He will come to lead those whose hearts already desire justice,
11:36who already live by the corn and sarna,
11:40who already strive against their own naars.
11:42That journey begins now.
11:44Today, in our homes, in our salah, in our treatment of sinners,
11:49the Prophet said,
11:51be in this world as if you are a stranger or a traveler.
11:56A traveler always prepares for the next stop.
12:00A stranger never becomes too comfortable in a place that isn't his true home.
12:05Similarly, our home is the hereafter.
12:07This world is a test,
12:09a temporary stage.
12:10Preparation means we constantly remember death,
12:13the grave,
12:14the standing before Allah.
12:16We don't know whether we will live to see the coming of the body
12:19or the aves of the last day.
12:21But we do know that our personal end could come at any moment.
12:27The angel of death will not wait until the signs are complete.
12:30So our focus should be on being ready to meet Allah,
12:33not just ready to meet the body.
12:36Preparation also means repentance,
12:38turning back to Allah sincerely,
12:40with a heart full of regret for our sins
12:42and a commitment not to return to them.
12:45It means engaging with the Quran,
12:47not just reading it,
12:48but letting it shape our thoughts,
12:50our decisions,
12:51our emotions.
12:52It means serving others,
12:54not just in times of crisis,
12:56but as a way of life,
12:58helping the poor,
13:00forgiving those who wrong us,
13:02speaking truth even when it's difficult.
13:04These are the qualities of those who are prepared.
13:07These are the believers
13:08who will stand firm when trials intensify,
13:12when truth is tested
13:13and when the world becomes a place of great confusion.
13:16One of the most critical responsibilities
13:18for a Muslim in times of fitna and confusion
13:21is to seek authentic knowledge
13:23and avoid spreading misinformation.
13:25In the age of instant communication,
13:28social media
13:28and widespread access to information,
13:33the danger of speaking without knowledge
13:34has never been greater.
13:36Many people today encounter a video
13:38or a headline
13:38or they hear something from a friend
13:40or influencer
13:41and they immediately begin to share it,
13:43comment on it
13:44and treat it as fact.
13:45This kind of behavior
13:47is not just careless,
13:49it is dangerous.
13:51Islam has placed great emphasis on
13:54verifying information
13:55and speaking only when one is certain.
13:57Allah says in the Quran,
13:58Ashtarik Kishu,
14:00O you who believe,
14:01if a wicked person comes to you with news,
14:04verify it,
14:05lest you harm
14:08people in ignorance
14:09and then become regretful
14:11for what you have done.
14:13Ashtarik Surah Al-Huwait, 496.
14:17When people speak about
14:18the signs of the hour
14:19or about the coming of Imam Mai,
14:21without proper knowledge,
14:23it can lead to fear,
14:25division
14:26and misunderstanding.
14:29Entire communities
14:30can be shaken
14:31by false claims
14:32or misinterpretations
14:33of Hadith.
14:34Some individuals
14:35go so far
14:36as to declare
14:37that a certain leader
14:38is the
14:38Mahi
14:40or
14:40that a specific war
14:42is the final war
14:43before his arrival.
14:45These are
14:46matters that require
14:47deep
14:49scholarly
14:50understanding,
14:52familiarity
14:52with the sources of Islam
14:53and caution.
14:55Not every Hadith
14:56is authentic,
14:57not every interpretation
14:58is correct
14:59and not every opinion
15:00is worth spreading.
15:02The Prophet Muhammad
15:03warned us
15:03that one of the signs
15:04of the end times
15:05is the rise of ignorant leaders
15:07and the spread of falsehood
15:09disguised as truth.
15:10The believer
15:11must develop
15:11a habit of asking
15:12where did this information
15:13come from
15:14before believing
15:15or sharing anything.
15:17If it is a Hadith,
15:18is it authentic?
15:19If it is a political
15:21interpretation,
15:22is it grounded
15:23in scholarly analysis?
15:25If it is a dream
15:26or vision,
15:27does it align
15:27with the principles
15:28of the Sharia?
15:29Islam does not
15:31allow us
15:31to base our beliefs
15:32or decisions
15:33on hearsay
15:34or weak sources.
15:36In fact,
15:37the Prophet said
15:37asterisk,
15:39it is enough
15:40for a man
15:40to be considered
15:41a liar
15:41that he narrates
15:42everything he hears.
15:44Asterisk,
15:44Sahih Muslim,
15:45seeking knowledge
15:46is a duty
15:47upon every Muslim.
15:48And in times
15:49of confusion,
15:51this duty
15:52becomes
15:53even more urgent.
15:55True knowledge
15:56brings clarity,
15:58humility
15:58and balance.
16:00It teaches us
16:01that not everything
16:02needs to be committed on,
16:04not every rumor
16:05needs to be believed
16:06and not every headline
16:08deserves our attention.
16:09It also teaches us
16:11that much of what
16:12is sensationalized
16:13in the media,
16:15even in Muslim circles,
16:16may be exaggerated
16:17or taken out of control.
