00:04La Sea of Thieves Insider Programme is a new program that we're launching today.
00:08We are launching it for people that want to get an inside look at the development of Sea of Thieves.
00:13We've been hearing from the community for quite a while that people want to know how we're developing the game,
00:17kind of what features we're working on, how we're working on them,
00:19and this is kind of our opportunity to let people sign up and get involved
00:23and say that they're interested in getting this kind of information from us.
00:26Yeah, and in the last few months since we've had our last public showings of the game,
00:30we've really been testing our feedback channels and everything else internally, right, and bug reporting and stuff.
00:35A lot of our focus and activities is kind of getting ourselves into a place where we're like,
00:38actually, cool, let's announce the Insider Programme, this is a big step for us, right?
00:42It's very exciting, mildly terrifying, but a really important kind of place to be.
00:46Yeah, right, that's where you want to be, right on the edge.
00:49But one of the things I think is going to excite people the most about the Insider Programme
00:52is the possibility of getting involved with kind of future testing phases.
00:56for Sea of Thieves.
00:57So we've obviously, over the last few months, had lots of people asking us,
01:00how do I get my hands on the game? How do I get involved with testing?
01:03So one of the reasons we're opening the Insider Programme is we are looking to create a pool of players
01:07who we can potentially invite into the game to play the game early
01:11and to give us critical feedback for making the game better.
01:13Giving this kind of inside look into our development is actually a really interesting kind of opportunity for people, right?
01:20Because we want to share a lot of information about the decisions we're making,
01:23and why we're making them data and information.
01:27And I think that's going to be a really interesting thing for people to kind of get that sneak peek
01:30into, right?
01:30Yeah, and I think it's a step forward for us.
01:32I mean, we've obviously been doing the inside story videos like this one,
01:35our podcasts, our short hauls,
01:38but this is kind of like going one level deeper, I think,
01:40and talking to people, like you said, kind of about the stats,
01:42kind of about the performance of the game.
01:43And so it's really going to be kind of crafted and intended for people
01:46who are saying they want that extra bit of information,
01:49they want to get that much closer to the development team.
01:51Absolutely.
01:52We're going to be asking them questions,
01:53we're going to be sending them surveys about all aspects of the game.
01:56Anybody that kind of wants to get involved with influencing the kind of future direction of Sea of Thieves
02:00and having that voice,
02:02I think it's a really important kind of avenue for those guys to get involved, right?

02:11Once there, we're going to ask that you sign in with a Gamertag, Xbox Live account,
02:15and then we've got actually a pretty lengthy survey that people fill out after that.
02:18So what's going to be really important for people to do as they're filling out the surveys,
02:21I think, just to try and answer as honestly as possible about the kind of activities that they're into, right?
02:26Because we will be looking for different kinds of people at different stages.
02:29It's not like we're just looking for one kind of gamer.
02:31Yeah, there's no bad answers, right?

02:33Like, it's just about having that wide variety.
02:35So whatever your play style is or whatever you're interested in,
02:39it's really interesting that we get a mix, right?

02:42If you answer no to wanting to play Sea of Thieves early,
02:44then you're probably not going to have a chance to.
02:46It's almost like what I think of as, like, the wall of text person, right?
02:49Like, we want the people who are going to come in and post a wall of text about what they

02:52That's the kind of feedback that we want to get from our community.
