Vediamo un nuovo videodiario di Sea of Thieves sui naufragi.

00:05Una cosa che è molto importante in Sea of Thieves è che ci sono queste possibilità emergenti per il crew.

01:01But I find that like the essence of Sea of Thieves
01:03because you've got to collectively make that decision
01:05to either all of you go down and get the treasure
01:08in possibly the quickest amount of time possible
01:10or you take a risk where there's the potential for another crew to come
01:14and sink your ship, steal your ship, take the loot from your ship
01:18Or just hide on your ship and wait for you to come back
01:20Even better, hide in the lower decks
01:22Let them come back on, suspecting nothing and then kill them all
01:25Yeah, whilst they're putting the shipwreck chests back on the ship
01:28My favourite tactic
01:29So as well as the chests that we've kind of hidden on the shipwrecks
01:33we wanted to have a bunch of barrels on there as well
01:36for players to forage for resources
01:37So even if a crew had kind of got there first and stolen the chest
01:40there was still a reason for players to kind of go down there and explore the shipwrecks
01:43And we added the floating resources as well
01:45like the bananas and planks and things
01:47because it kind of gives a sense that it's an actual shipwreck
01:50Yeah, I think that was like a really cool point actually
01:52It suddenly felt like this was a ship that had just been battered in a battle
01:56and then you were kind of swimming through the remains of it
01:58So we didn't want the kind of threat to just be running out of oxygen underwater
02:04We wanted to be like a consistent threat in the world when swimming
02:08which is where the sharks came from
02:09Yeah, so we ended up writing some stuff that meant that the shark AI can figure out when you're in
02:13a shipwreck
02:14and when it detects that it circles the shipwreck waiting for you to come out again
02:18So you get these awesome moments where you're kind of just above the map table
02:22looking to see where the shark is that's circling the shipwreck
02:24and then you can choose your moment to basically dart out of the hole and like
02:29swim back to the surface with the chest
02:31So I actually think the drowning is scarier
02:33because of the audio
02:35The audio is superb
02:36It actually makes me feel like I'm drowning
02:38and it's absolutely terrifying
02:40There was a bunch of different feedback that we went through to get there
02:42Like at first it was just the health bar was chipping down
02:46and that didn't really add to that panic other than I'm going to die shortly
02:49But then we started adding in like a kind of black vignette into the thing
02:53that made it feel like you were starting to pass out
02:55and then like you said we added in the kind of audio effects as well
02:58and that was kind of like
03:07So while shipwrecks I mean can seem conceptually simple
03:11they offer such a vast array of scenarios that can actually happen in the game
03:15it's a spectacularly good feature to have
03:18even though they might be quite technically challenging to put in
03:21Yeah, and the more kind of emerging mechanics that we can add into the game
03:24gives more reasons for the players to kind of
03:27go off the beaten track and discover these new features
