00:11Mr. Taylor said a recent visit to the Division of Education was unsatisfactory.
00:17We went up to education on the 5th of March. On the 5th of March. And when I asked in
00:29the office, because I went to the office, if that is the timing that is what is happening because of
00:35Tobago have no manager in PTSD, that means we are not getting paid for Easter.
00:40Because when you look at the time frame of processing these checks for us to get paid, Easter is on
00:47the 6th of April.

01:07Driver Anthony Bruce told TV6 News a visit to the PTSC office on the 9th of March in Tobago also
01:16did not bear fruit as information was requested for drivers' salaries for January 2026.
01:23And was informed by the Tobago office representative that there is no manager in the Tobago office to process and
01:35sign documents.
01:37And all documents must go to Trinidad for approval before it can be submitted to the education department for approval
01:51of salaries.
01:52Mr. Bruce said drivers remain without contracts despite promises made by the present Tobago House of Assembly administration before the
02:01January 12th election.
02:03While December 2025 salaries were paid in January 2026.
02:10We also have no form of documentation or contractual arrangement for our salaries.
02:18We cannot face the institution at any cause.
02:22We cannot account for the money that we are going to deposit from time to time.
02:27And proper working conditions were promised us by the present regime, but to no avail.
02:37This again is highly unacceptable.
02:40Drivers are calling for the matter to be fixed between the Division of Education and the PTSC in the shortest
02:46possible time.
