00:00Given this year, just number of young guys, freshmen, especially here,
00:04how does that change your approach to spring practice or maybe even just
00:07change the tone of things out there?
00:09Yeah, I mean, I think you're combining that with, you know,
00:13obviously some changes defensively.
00:15You know, we're not totally scrapping what we did.
00:19This is not like we're going to some radically different system,
00:23but there certainly are going to be some changes in getting used to the new
00:25coaches, Coach Patterson and some of the new coaches on staff.
00:29Certainly with Coach Eckler coming in from a special team standpoint and joining
00:32with Coach Doherty, going to be a few changes there.
00:35And so, yeah, I think you're trying to balance all three of those things.
00:37But if you were to say what are, you know, maybe three really big keys this spring,
00:42you would have a hard time not naming, obviously getting acclimated to the new
00:45things defensively and on special teams.
00:47And then getting acclimated to this roster, it is.
00:50But between, you know, over 30 new high school guys and then you've got some of
00:54the transfers that we welcomed into the program, you know, there's a lot of new
00:57guys on this roster.
00:59And so I think getting a look at these people, you know, seeing, you know,
01:02where they're at in terms of their development, where they got to go.
01:06I think the evaluation process is going to be really important.
01:08And the other great thing about having this many people available is the more
01:12people available, you have more reps you can do.
01:14The more reps you can do, the more they can develop, the more we can all
01:17evaluate and get an idea going into, you know, later this spring and this summer
01:21of where we're at and obviously the improvements that we need to make at that point.
