00:00What's the most challenging part of picking up after the center?
00:04You played a lot more tackle and guard.
00:05Yeah, yeah.
00:06The great thing about tackle and guard is you line up and get the call from the center,
00:11and all you have to think about is, how am I going to block this?
00:14How am I going to communicate it?
00:15But at center, it's like snap communication, tell the other guys what they're doing.
00:20And then I'm really trying to work on my technique too.
00:23But that comes after all those things.
00:25So that's probably the hardest thing that I've been adjusting to so far.
00:29How far is Elijah Bicona come in a year, not seeing him starting his next second year?
00:35Yeah, obviously growing a lot.
00:36I mean, that's the guy that came in and right when he got here,
00:39he learned the playbook super fast.
00:40So that was huge and really beneficial when any freshman comes in
00:44and knows the playbook as quick as they can.
00:47That means you can move straight on to like communicating, technique, and then versatility.
00:54Like you've got to know the playbook before you do all that.
00:57And he did a great job of that, and he's come a long way.
00:59There's a lot of young guys just in general, not just on the offensive line.
01:03How do you feel that kind of changed things out there, the tone,
01:06or like the approach as you guys entered practice?
01:08It's definitely a different spring ball because, yes, we've got all these great returners,
01:12but we've also got a lot of freshmen too.
01:14So the depth in the spring ball is insane.
01:17Like we're not used to having so many guys and so many groups going.
01:19So like two spotting things and getting more reps has been amazing.
01:23Thank you for that.
