00:00Former Health Minister Khairi Jamaluddin has applied to return to UMNO three years after being sacked by the party.

00:09UMNO President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the former UMNO youth chief submitted his letter of appeal to return to the

00:16party when the pair met yesterday.

00:20In a Facebook post, the Barca National Chairman said this was the true meaning of Rumah Bangsa,

00:25to reunite with those who are separated, to bring back those who are far away, and to regather under one's

00:32struggle.

00:34He added that he had personally accepted Khairi's application, which will be forwarded to the Rumah Bangsa Committee,

00:40chaired by Vice President Khaled Nordin, for further action.

00:46Khairi, a former minister who held various portfolios, was sacked from the party in January 2023

00:52for breaching party discipline during the 2022 general election.
