01:00Good evening, everyone, and welcome to The Proof Is Out There.
01:04Stories of UFO abductions are pretty common,
01:08but forensic evidence that corroborates such accounts is much harder to come by.
01:13So when two self-proclaimed victims of alien abduction claim to have proof,
01:18you know we have to take a look for ourselves.
01:21It's August 2014 in Salt Fork State Park, Ohio.
01:26Two men are out fishing at night when suddenly their lives are changed forever.
01:31Roughly about 10.30, they saw a light coming across the sky to their north.
01:37An hour later, another set of lights comes by.
01:40And about 1.30 in the morning,
01:42they heard this extremely shrill woman's cry coming from across the lake.
01:47At that point, the 43-year-old's sitting in a lawn chair, watching his fishing pole.
01:52The 19-year-old, he's baiting his hook.
01:55The next thing you know, the 43-year-old gets his cell phone out.
01:58And it's 5.19 in the morning.
02:00He has no idea what happened between 1.30 and 5.19.
02:04And the 19-year-old is still up baiting his hook over three and a half hours later.
02:09Author Jason Martell says the bewildered men then make a break for it.
02:15But that's when things get really weird.
02:17Stunned in disbelief, they started to just grab all their belongings, change their clothes.
02:23And as the older man changed his clothes, he was also noticing his shirt was inside out.
02:28It's as if his clothes had been taken off and put back on incorrectly.
02:32And they say they have no idea where these stains came from.
02:38The men believe these dirtied shorts and tops might carry evidence that they are victims of an alien abduction.
02:44If that's the case, their lost time would not be surprising.
02:49There are many instances when there's some type of an alien abduction experience where missing time occurs.
02:56A very similar feature happened with the Betty and Barney Hill case.
03:01The Hill couple famously forgot two hours while driving on a New Hampshire road one night in 1961.
03:07With the help of hypnosis, they later recounted being examined and probed by aliens.
03:13In many of these experiences of lost time, there are physical attributes that also take place.
03:21Sometimes the clothes are put on wrong.
03:24A shirt is inside out.
03:26Betty and Barney Hill were left with stopped watches, scuffed shoes, and a ripped dress.
03:31Is the clothing of the Ohio fisherman proof of a similar encounter?
03:38Okay, I know what you're thinking.
03:40Dirty clothes and a shirt turned inside out doesn't sound all that weird coming back from a camping trip.
03:47Still, the men claim they were so disturbed that they stayed home for weeks afterward.
03:51Perhaps our experts can shine a light on this mysterious blackout.
04:00First, we asked Dr. Ed Hope if there's any explanation for the experience of lost time reported here.
04:07When people blackout or lose consciousness, medically, we think of something happening either with the heart or something with the
04:14head.
04:15What's unusual in this case is that both of them blacked out at the same time, which kind of rules
04:21out a lot of these causes.
04:23And what about the clothing?
04:25An industrial chemist put it under spectroscopic analysis.
04:28One of the findings in the clothing of both these two gentlemen and in Betty Hill's clothes was carboxylic acid.
04:37Carboxylic acid salt is found in food additives, some pharmaceuticals, and soap.
04:42It's not rare.
04:43But Tom Wertman argues that the placement of this otherwise ordinary chemical is what makes it noteworthy.
04:49Betty Hill's dress was brand new, and it was in the lower part of the skirt where you would normally
04:55never associate that type of a chemical with.
04:58And the chemist found the salt fork abductee's clothes were similarly affected.
05:03She found it on the pockets of their, like, cargo shorts in areas that you would normally never find that
05:09type of a chemical in.
05:11Yet, there might be a simple explanation.
05:14What if they were carrying hygiene products or medication in their pockets?
05:18Well, Wertman points to areas of pinkish discoloration on both sets of garments, which might hold an even bigger clue.
05:24The areas that discolored on Betty Hill's dark blue dress were around, like, the lower part of the skirt area.
05:31And this is where she was claiming that aliens were grabbing at her.
05:38On the gentleman from Salt Fork, the blue jacket had a pink cast to it.
05:43So, maybe something was touching that jacket.
05:46Tom was so compelled by the Salt Fork incident, he went there, looking for additional physical evidence.
05:53As I'm walking the area, I hit a spot about 100 yards from where they were.
05:57And I looked down, and I was standing in a perfect circle of dead grass.
06:02So, I took samples from that region, and also control samplers around the whole region.
06:08Tom got the samples analyzed, and the findings, once again, appeared anomalous.
06:14One position was much higher iron content than all the rest of the areas.
06:18That area was the circle I was standing in.
06:21Does it mean that possibly there's some type of connection to iron and alien spacecraft?
06:28We can't say no, but one case doesn't prove anything.
06:39Our verdict?
06:40If you take them at their word, this remains an unexplained case of lost time.
06:45We can't be sure whether it was caused by an alien abduction or something else altogether.
06:51Unfortunately for these two anonymous men, they may never know for sure where those hours went.
06:59We want to talk about another kind of UFO encounter now, ones in which the eyewitness is allegedly injured.
07:06Unfortunately, there are many accounts of such events, like this one, which has become one of the most famous Canadian
07:13UFO incidents of all time.
07:15It's May 20th, 1967.
07:18After a relaxing weekend prospecting along Manitoba's Falcon Lake,
07:23amateur geologist and World War II veteran Stefan Mahalik returns to his hometown of Winnipeg,
07:29where he immediately goes to the emergency room.
07:33Stefan is vomiting, repeatedly fighting to remain conscious.
07:37That's when his shirt is open to reveal a gruesome sight.
07:43A series of dark, circular burns protrude from Stefan's torso in a precise, grid-like pattern.
07:51He was prospecting for silver and quartz when he saw two red, glowing crafts in the sky.
07:59One of them took off and then one of them landed, so he decided to go get a closer look.
08:05As he got closer, he smelled sulfur and saw some really bright lights.
08:10And when he reached out to touch the craft, the craft began to spin.
08:14And he was actually knocked down by a burst of air that set his clothes on fire.
08:20A lot of people thought that this was a UFO, but Mahalik actually believed it was a secret military craft.
08:29Mahalik's youngest son, Stan, vividly remembers the day his dad went to the ER.
08:35My dad, who didn't want to get into it with this doctor, tells him it was an aircraft accident.
08:40He was scared.
08:41Here's a man who's been through the Second War.
08:43Here's a man who's been to the concentration camps.
08:46And he was terrified.
08:47According to Stan, the doctors treat his father's burns,
08:51but he continued to suffer from periodic blackouts, swelling, diarrhea, and nausea,
08:56all symptoms of radiation sickness.
08:59The Canadian government grabbed some of his clothing and some of the soil out there,
09:04which were both found to be radioactive.
09:06There was also radioactive metal embedded in rocks and a 15-foot diameter circle
09:11that was newly devoid of any vegetation or moss.
09:15The case became so big that even the U.S. government pitched in to assist the investigation.
09:20And some see similarities to another infamous case, the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident,
09:27where two U.S. servicemen claimed to have encountered a UFO deep within the woods near a U.S. Air
09:34Force base in England.
09:35All the radios of all the cops were kind of going nuts that something was in the forest
09:41right outside of the joint U.K. and United States base known as Bentwaters.
09:47These two police officers for the Air Force, Penniston and Burroughs,
09:51actually go out into the forest to try to locate the downed UFO,
09:56and lo and behold, they find it.
09:59Both witnesses report not only a brilliant bright light,
10:03but feeling this static charge in the air as they got close.
10:08Burroughs indicated to me that injuries that he sustained created havoc to his health.
10:15Heart complications and a loss of vision,
10:18all of those are very consistent with radiation poisoning.
10:23In 2015, Burroughs received disability benefits for his condition,
10:28which suggests that something did indeed happen to him.
10:31But what about those burns on Mahalik's stomach?
10:35Let's turn to our experts.
10:41First, did Stefan Mahalik's symptoms conform to radiation poisoning?
10:46His reports say that these symptoms lasted for weeks.
10:50You're really going to see those acute symptoms for two days.
10:53Then you have a latent period, and we would have seen abnormalities in his blood work,
10:58almost akin to people who undergo radiation or chemo.
11:01But the reports that I reviewed showed that he had normal blood work.
11:05And as far as these peculiar marks being radiation burns?
11:08With radiation burns, usually the zone of damage is going to be bigger.
11:13It's not just going to be a small pattern.
11:16To me, this looks like something made contact with just that area of skin,
11:20as opposed to a blast.
11:22It's almost like somebody took an item like this and pressed it against his chest.
11:27Then there are the findings from the site investigation.
11:30When the area of the sighting was studied,
11:33radiation was found not only in the soil,
11:36but pieces of metal found in the crust of vegetation.
11:41In my opinion, this is an unexplainable story.
11:45Over 50 years later, this remains one of Canada's greatest UFO mysteries.
11:51The incident happened.
11:52We have the evidence.
11:53We just don't know what it was.
12:00Our verdict?
12:01This infamous case still remains an unexplained incident.
12:06Unfortunately, we may never get to the bottom of this story,
12:09but hopefully, continued research will shed more light
12:12on the alleged injuries sustained during UAP encounters.
12:18Here on The Proof is Out There,
12:20we've heard plenty of amazing stories of alien encounters
12:23and even abductions that we've had to pass on
12:27because there was no corroborating evidence.
12:29So when one woman told us she had proof on her body,
12:34it's fair to say our interest was piqued.
12:37September 16th, 2017,
12:39Sev Toc and her boyfriend have just moved to Arapaho, North Carolina.
12:43The two are still unpacking when suddenly,
12:45Sev feels what she describes as a bug bite on her rear.
12:49And when she looks...
12:51We were both stunned, wondering,
12:54how did this red X show up on the left cheek of your tush?
12:58Nine dots were arranged on her skin in a perfect X formation.
13:02The mark doesn't itch,
13:04and upon running her fingers over it,
13:06Sev feels neither a raise nor indentation.
13:09I couldn't feel it.
13:10I decided, let's just ignore this.
13:12We're going to pretend like this never even happened.
13:15Nine days after discovering those first marks,
13:18Sev says she was startled away
13:20by a rush of disturbing memory fragments.
13:22Believing them to be from the night before,
13:24she recalled an unearthly encounter.
13:26I was lying on this bed
13:30that resembled a hospital bed.
13:32And I turned my head around
13:34and standing right behind me, right here,
13:37just inches from me, was a gray.
13:39By gray, Sev is referring to the infamous gray aliens,
13:44intergalactic antagonist in many alien abduction accounts.
13:47We locked eyes, and ding, I'm back in my bedroom.
13:52Fearing that these visions weren't just a dream,
13:54Sev checks the mirror and discovers
13:56a second X mark has appeared on her backside,
13:59directly across from the original.
14:02The marks lasted around three weeks
14:03before fading from her skin.
14:05I was so afraid and so confused.
14:08There was no logical explanation for this.
14:12Sev's story may sound incredible,
14:14but it's more common than you might think.
14:16Following an abduction encounter,
14:18people can walk away with all kinds of strange markings,
14:22including bruising, scratches,
14:25all the way up to implants.
14:27For instance, in October 1973,
14:31two fishermen were allegedly abducted
14:33by a hovering craft,
14:34subjected to physical examination,
14:36and returned with small punctures in their skin.
14:39It's because of these punctures,
14:41not unlike Sev's marks in size and shape,
14:44that their abduction story has been called
14:46one of the most credible in history.
14:50Back in 2003, one Harvard study found
14:53that memories of alien abduction
14:55can leave real psychological scars
14:57akin to post-traumatic stress.
14:59As for the validity of Sev's tox marks,
15:03we'll leave it to our experts to decide.
15:09Could this be a bug bite?
15:11All of the circles are the same size.
15:13It's in a straight line,
15:15and the measurements between the circles look the same.
15:19So maybe this is the work of a bug
15:21with linear feeding habits,
15:23like bed bugs.
15:24They tend to bite in straight lines,
15:26simply because they hide along the straight edges
15:29of blankets and sheets.
15:31But that wouldn't explain an X.
15:33It's highly unlikely that bugs could bite
15:36in a coordinated pattern like this.
15:39Manka considers that these marks
15:40could be in some way self-inflicted.
15:42Some have noticed the similarity
15:44between these photos and the marks
15:45often left by a practice called combo therapy.
15:49Combo is a spiritual and medicinal practice
15:52that originated in the Abazan
15:54by indigenous tribes.
15:57In a combo cleanse,
15:58shamans burn shallow wounds into the skin
16:01like you see here,
16:02then apply the secretions
16:03of the toxic giant monkey frog,
16:06which enter the bloodstream.
16:07The goal is to cure a multitude of illnesses,
16:09but Mank is not sure that's what this is.
16:12I don't think this is combo
16:13because the areas that appear to be healing
16:16are not scarring in the way
16:19that we would typically expect them to.
16:21When combo heals,
16:23it leaves a mark that is lighter
16:26than the skin color around it.
16:27We're not getting that lighter color
16:29we would expect.
16:30Next, we have Dr. Ed Hope,
16:32who notes that the way these marks are healing
16:34also add some complications
16:36to the abduction theory timeline.
16:38This image here is taken immediately
16:40after Sev's vision of being abducted,
16:43but we can see it's actually gone through
16:45a healing process
16:46because some of the discoloration
16:49is actually fading away.
16:50So I don't think it's related
16:52to Sev's vision of being abducted
16:55because it was likely there beforehand.
16:59Then again,
16:59Sev's vision and second set of marks
17:01may have been from her first alleged encounter
17:03nine days earlier.
17:04After all,
17:05there is a history
17:06of self-proclaimed alien abductees
17:09losing and later recovering
17:10memories of their abductions.
17:13Still,
17:13we can't be sure
17:14when Sev got these marks
17:16and Dr. Hope says
17:17there's no clear answer
17:18on how she got them either.
17:20There is either some kind of light
17:22penetrating trauma
17:23that's damaged the skin
17:24or something that's pressed against
17:25that has irritated the skin.
17:27And I'm not sure
17:28which of those two is more likely
17:30and I'm also not sure
17:31what kind of object
17:32would actually create this pattern.
17:34I don't know what's going on here.
17:40Our verdict?
17:41Unknown skin trauma.
17:43We just can't pinpoint
17:44what instrument
17:45could have created
17:46these distinct geometric marks.
17:48Despite Dr. Hope's skepticism,
17:51Sev is convinced
17:52the Greys gave her these marks.
17:54And many in the UFO community agree.
17:58UFOs over Italy
17:59have been a thing for centuries
18:01with appearances in Roman myth,
18:04Renaissance art,
18:04and present day.
18:05It's no wonder
18:07the Italian Air Force
18:07accepts civilian reports
18:09on UFOs
18:10to be investigated
18:11by their general security department.
18:13And while we appreciate
18:14their efforts,
18:15we couldn't help
18:16but take on this next video

18:22are walking to the beach
18:23in the Italian port city
18:24of Catania.
18:25They're coming from a party,
18:27but it's what they see next
18:28that makes this a night
18:29to remember.
18:31The video starts
18:32with a large glowing diamond
18:33in the middle of a black sky.
18:35It then zooms out
18:36to reveal what looks like
18:37two diamond-shaped UFOs.
18:39Despite their apparent
18:40lack of flight features
18:41like wings, propellers,
18:42or means of propulsion,
18:44these diamonds seem
18:45to hang steadily in the sky
18:46as the video continues on
18:48for a whopping six minutes.
18:51Italy's history
18:52with supposed alien visitations
18:54goes back decades.
18:57In 1978,
18:58a security guard
18:59by the name of
19:00Pierre Fortunato Zanfretta
19:01claimed that he saw
19:03a strange UFO object
19:06and was subsequently
19:07abducted by aliens.
19:09He agreed to go on television
19:11and to be hypnotized
19:13live in front of an audience.
19:25Zanfretta even offered
19:27to take Pentothal,
19:28which is known as Truth Serum,
19:29and he described
19:31strange encounters
19:32with triangular UFOs
19:34and alien abductions
19:35and a whole array
19:36of different strange
19:37alien encounters.
19:42Now, the truth
19:43about Truth Serums
19:45is they've never been
19:46officially proven effective,
19:47much less ethical.
19:49But can this video
19:50of inexplicable flying objects
19:52over Italy
19:53finally prove the reality
19:55of Zanfretta's experiences?
19:57Our experts
19:58take a closer look.
20:03First, we turn to Michael Primo
20:06to determine if the footage
20:07is even real.
20:08No evidence of digital alteration
20:10was detected.
20:11No CGI was detected.
20:12And the operator
20:13was essentially trying
20:14to record something
20:15that didn't get recorded
20:16accurately, in my opinion.
20:18So the result
20:19is inconclusive at this point.
20:21Next, we take them
20:22to Mark D'Antonio
20:23to determine if we could
20:24be looking at a UFO
20:25or some other flying vehicle.
20:27If this was an aircraft,
20:30then we would expect
20:30the aircraft to change
20:32its position relative
20:33to the camera
20:34and most importantly,
20:35relative to the other objects
20:37in the view.
20:38They don't change.
20:39They are stationary
20:41relative to each other.
20:42So they're not aircraft.
20:43They're not drones.
20:44They're not balloons.
20:45They're not other strange
20:46military craft.
20:47And we know these aren't satellites
20:48because satellites
20:49move across the sky.
20:51These are just
20:51locked stationary.
20:54Under closer investigation,
20:55D'Antonio determines
20:56that the diamond-shaped lights
20:58seen in the video
20:59may not be what they appear
21:00to be at all.
21:01The diamond shape
21:02has to do with the shape
21:03of the iris of the camera,
21:05which is the actual shape
21:07inside the camera
21:08of the little leaves
21:09that make the shutter
21:11stop down
21:12or get smaller
21:13and get wider.
21:14And when you go out of focus,
21:16the light is spread
21:17across the entire sensor,
21:19but it's eclipsed by
21:21the edges
21:22of that iris shape.
21:25The effect is known
21:27as bokeh.
21:28And if the iris shape
21:29is a diamond,
21:30you'll see a diamond.
21:31If it's a different shape,
21:32you'll see a different shape.
21:33In this case,
21:34it's a diamond.
21:36So if this alleged
21:37diamond-shaped UFO
21:38isn't even diamond-shaped,
21:40what is it?
21:41D'Antonio thinks
21:41he spotted a clue.
21:42So in this particular frame,
21:44here are the lights
21:44in question here,
21:45but if you look down further,
21:47there's more lights
21:48going all the way down.
21:49If you draw a line
21:50between them logically,
21:51there is a slope here.
21:53And I believe
21:55what we're looking at
21:56are lights on the ground.
21:58But the person
21:59taking the image
22:01doesn't understand
22:02where the horizon is
22:04and where the local horizon is.
22:06They don't realize
22:07that maybe there's a hill here
22:09and that their lights
22:11are a little bit
22:11elevated on the hill.
22:12They may think
22:13they're in the sky,
22:14but they're actually
22:15ground lights.
22:20Our verdict,
22:21unidentified ground lights.
22:23We looked,
22:24but were unable
22:25to determine
22:25exactly where
22:27in Catania, Italy
22:28this footage was taken
22:29to compare it
22:30to the landscape
22:31and the daytime.
22:32But D'Antonio's analysis
22:33appears to fit the facts
22:35in our mind.
22:36Most likely,
22:37we're looking at cars
22:38or streetlights.
22:39As for Zanfretta's experiences,
22:42we're leaving that case open
22:44for further investigation.
22:47In Great Britain,
22:49a moor is an open,
22:50hilly area
22:51of rough grass,
22:52sometimes wet,
22:53sometimes dry,
22:54and fairly isolated.
22:56The Yorkshire Moors
22:57is where the classic novel
22:59Wuthering Heights is set.
23:00Well, according to one person,
23:02the Moors should also be known
23:04for something else,
23:05alien encounters.
23:07It's December 1st, 1987.
23:10A story goes
23:11that a retired police officer
23:12named Philip Spencer
23:13was taking a routine
23:14morning walk
23:15across Ilkley Moor
23:17in West Yorkshire, England
23:18when his life
23:19changed forever.
23:21Local resident
23:22and tour guide
23:22Tim Barber
23:23knows Spencer's tale
23:24and this mysterious
23:26landscape well.
23:27Ilkley Moor
23:28is this wild landscape
23:29full of heather
23:31and wild marsh grasses.
23:32So it's quite
23:33a desolate environment.
23:35If I'm taking people
23:36up on the moors,
23:37the story of Philip Spencer
23:38always comes out.
23:40Barber says back in 1987,
23:43Spencer was walking
23:43along the moors
23:44with his camera
23:45when he saw something strange
23:46in the distance.
23:48That's when he captured this.
23:51He started to come across
23:53a six-year figure.
23:54Which he just thought
23:55was another hiker.
23:56As he got closer,
23:58the figure just seemed
23:59to be quite strange.
24:00It got an enlarged head,
24:02large, long arms,
24:04and by all account
24:05had a green tinge.
24:08This thing
24:08is pretty creepy looking.
24:10It doesn't look quite human.
24:13Obviously, it's kind of
24:14a mist-shrouded location,
24:16so we don't get
24:17a really clear visual.
24:20Years later,
24:21the photo showed up
24:22on the internet.
24:23By that time,
24:24it had been enhanced.
24:25Three versions emerged
24:26in different color schemes.
24:28In the enhancements,
24:30you can see what looks
24:31to be a face
24:31with dark eyes.
24:33It has long arms
24:34and large hands.
24:35That helps make sense
24:37of the rest
24:37of Spencer's story.
24:38Shortly after this,
24:40the creature vanished,
24:41and he saw
24:42what looked to be
24:43a strange type of craft
24:45taking off in the distance
24:47and going up into the air.
24:48The next thing Spencer
24:49remembered was his watch
24:51was behind by an hour,
24:52and the magnetic compass
24:53that he had taken with him
24:54on the hike
24:55had reversed polarity.
24:57He surmised that
24:58in that lost amount
24:59of time,
25:00he'd been hit
25:00with an enormous
25:01amount of energy.
25:03In fact,
25:04he believed
25:05he'd been abducted.
25:06Aware his story
25:07was hard to believe,
25:08he created the pseudonym
25:09Philip Spencer
25:10to protect his identity.
25:12We don't know
25:13what his real name was,
25:15and can't even confirm
25:16he was an ex-policeman.
25:17But Ken Gerhardt says
25:19what is certain
25:19is the area's connection
25:21to UFOs.
25:22This sighting
25:23is just one of several
25:24in the area,
25:25which actually lies
25:26near an ancient
25:27Neolithic stone circle
25:29known as the Twelve Apostles.
25:31And like many
25:32ancient monolithic sites
25:34in England,
25:34it's very mysterious.
25:35We're not really sure
25:36who made it.
25:37There are some who say
25:38that this ancient circle
25:39is actually evidence
25:40that aliens visited
25:41the Moors a millennia ago,
25:43and that the visitations
25:45continued to this very day.
25:47In 2011,
25:49Britain's Telegraph newspaper
25:50called the Ilkley Moore
25:52alien sighting
25:53one of the top ten
25:54UK UFO incidents
25:55of all time.
25:56For decades,
25:57the original photo
25:58and the enhancement
25:59have been studied
26:00backwards and forwards.
26:02And now it's time
26:03for our experts
26:04to take a look.
26:09First,
26:10we asked Kathy Strain
26:11to examine
26:12the enhanced photo.
26:13The only thing
26:14that I can tell
26:15from the photo
26:16is that it's bipedal.
26:18I find it creepy
26:20in the sense
26:21that it doesn't
26:22immediately
26:23look like a human.
26:25All the other animals
26:26that exist in England,
26:28they're four-legged,
26:29hoofed animals,
26:31dogs,
26:31cows,
26:32deer.
26:33So I do not know
26:34if what we are seeing
26:35in that photograph
26:36is an alien or not.
26:37Next,
26:38we take it to Michael Primo
26:39for a photo analysis.
26:41What I find peculiar
26:42is that when I examine
26:44images like this,
26:45there's always only one.
26:47The operator could have

27:04and down onto its torso
27:06and through its neck region.
27:07For Primo,
27:09the details of an alien creature
27:10weren't revealed
27:11by the enhancement.
27:12They were added.
27:14None of that information
27:15is represented
27:16in the very first image
27:17that was captured.
27:19Information has been introduced.
27:21Shapes of things
27:21have been altered.
27:23The perspectives
27:23have been skewed.
27:24Tonal values have changed.
27:26Basically,
27:27I would not consider
27:28this an authentic representation
27:29of the events
27:31because of the number
27:32of changes
27:32that this picture
27:33has undergone.
27:35It's a logical argument,
27:37but Strain believes
27:38the most important detail
27:39in Spencer's story,
27:41if true,
27:42may not be in the photograph.
27:44He had a compass with him.
27:46That had reverse polarity.
27:48And the only way
27:50that you can do that
27:51to a compass
27:52is that it is exposed
27:54to a high level
27:56of magnetism.
27:57So it makes me wonder
28:00if he was near a UFO
28:03and then that's why
28:05his compass
28:05had that happen.
28:07And so it leads me
28:08to believe,
28:09regardless of the photograph,
28:11maybe he's telling the truth.
28:17Our verdict?
28:18We're going to go
28:19with unexplained phenomenon.
28:21Primo makes a good case
28:22that the enhanced photo
28:24was doctored.
28:25But the original
28:26can't be entirely dismissed.
28:27In fact,
28:28one analysis conducted
28:30by Kodak Labs
28:31couldn't find any evidence
28:33of tampering
28:33on the original photograph.
28:35Clearly,
28:36there's more investigating to do.
28:40Hitchhikers come in
28:41all shapes and sizes,
28:42but on a stretch of Arizona highway,
28:44notorious for alien abductions,
28:47a trucker picked up something
28:48on dash cam
28:49that seemed otherworldly.
28:52It's 2.30 a.m. on March 11, 2023,
28:55and a truck driver
28:57is making a haul
28:58along SR87
28:59between Phoenix
29:00and Payson, Arizona.
29:02The driver's dash cam
29:03is rolling
29:04when it captures this.
29:06Did you catch it?
29:07Look again.
29:10Seemingly out of nowhere,
29:11a translucent figure
29:13appears on the side
29:14of the highway.
29:15It's shaped like
29:16some sort of humanoid
29:17standing upright
29:18with what could be arms
29:20dangling at its sides.
29:22When talking about Arizona,
29:24we have to consider
29:24the traditions
29:25of the indigenous Navajo people.
29:28And perhaps the scariest mythology
29:30or legend
29:30involves the so-called skinwalkers,
29:34known as the yinigloshi,
29:36essentially believed to be
29:37a shaman
29:38who actually takes the form
29:40of an animal
29:41using witchcraft.
29:42And considering what we're seeing
29:44in the video
29:44has an amorphous
29:45and indistinguishable form,
29:47could this be somehow related
29:49to the skinwalker phenomenon?
29:51In other words,
29:52is that a skinwalker
29:53in the process
29:54of changing its shape?
29:56The legend says
29:57skinwalkers must continually
29:59kill other lifeforms
30:01or they will die themselves.
30:02But Gerhard suggests
30:04that there could be
30:04a more extraterrestrial
30:06explanation to this video,
30:07considering this same area
30:09is also home
30:10to one of the most infamously
30:11debated UFO abductions
30:13ever reported.
30:14Where this video is filmed
30:16is very close
30:16to the location
30:17of the so-called
30:18Travis Walton abduction,
30:20which occurred in 1975.
30:22Now, Travis Walton claims
30:24that he was zapped
30:26and then brought aboard
30:27an alien craft.
30:28Travis disappeared
30:29for a number of days
30:31and then eventually
30:32turned up,
30:33completely disoriented
30:34and unsure
30:35about what had happened.
30:37Travis's story
30:38was even adapted
30:38into a major motion picture,
30:411993's Fire in the Sky.
30:42And while many firmly believe
30:44in his account,
30:45there are those
30:46who think it was
30:46nothing more
30:47than an elaborate hoax.
30:50Could this also be
30:51some kind of stunt?
30:52Or is it for real?
30:56Believe it or not,
30:57this isn't the first
30:58trucker story
30:59that's come down the pike.
31:01Longtime viewers
31:02may remember
31:02when a long-haul trucker
31:03encountered this strange
31:05purple light
31:06on a desolate
31:07Wisconsin highway.
31:08That phenomenon
31:09ended up being
31:10the reflection
31:10of purple UV lights
31:12used to grow plants.
31:13Let's see if our experts
31:14find something more
31:15extraterrestrial
31:17on this stretch
31:18of blacktop.
31:23Let's start
31:24by exploring
31:25the Navajo skinwalker legend.
31:27This area
31:28is very well known
31:29for skinwalker sightings.
31:31The native people
31:32have a long history
31:33with skinwalkers.
31:35However,
31:35skinwalkers generally
31:37take over
31:38the bodies of animals.
31:39According to the
31:41indigenous peoples,
31:42skinwalkers can appear
31:43as coyotes,
31:45wolves,
31:45foxes,
31:46even bears.
31:47And although they come
31:48in a variety of shapes
31:49and sizes,
31:50there's one important
31:51factor that seems
31:52to be missing here.
31:53The purpose of skinwalkers
31:54is to bring fear.
31:56There's nothing here
31:57that would make me afraid
31:58or make me fearful.
31:59So this doesn't appear
32:00to be a skinwalker
32:02to me.
32:03However,
32:04strain doesn't rule out
32:05the possibility
32:06of an otherworldly origin.
32:08This is very near
32:09the Tonto National Forest
32:11and this area
32:12has had many alien sightings
32:14in the past
32:15and rumors
32:16of a secret UFO base
32:18being built
32:19somewhere in the forest.
32:21If that's true,
32:22could this be related
32:24to that?
32:24Could this be
32:25one of the greys
32:26that maybe escaped
32:27from that location?
32:28But hang on.
32:29Before we jump
32:30to the conclusion
32:31that this is one
32:32of the famous
32:32great aliens
32:33described by alleged
32:35abductees over the years,
32:36we need to rule out
32:37the local fauna.
32:38It's not immediately
32:40identifiable as a coyote
32:43or a jackrabbit
32:44or a deer
32:45caught in the headlights.
32:46The fact that it is
32:48translucent
32:49might turn to another,
32:52perhaps a more
32:52otherworldly explanation.
32:54However,
32:55Meldrum isn't convinced
32:57this is evidence
32:58of a great alien
32:59gone rogue.
32:59That large,
33:01dominant head
33:02seems to be
33:03missing altogether.
33:04So I don't think
33:06it's an alien.
33:07But then the fact
33:08that it is
33:09translucent,
33:10such that the
33:11white line
33:12on the shoulder
33:12of the road
33:13can be seen

33:15begs the question
33:15of whether
33:16the driver
33:17actually witnessed
33:18what appears

33:21With the visual image
33:22being so hard
33:22to decipher,
33:23we brought this footage
33:24to our forensic video analyst,
33:26Michael Primo.
33:27So upon examination
33:28of the dash cam video,
33:30we ran it through
33:31our authentication tool.
33:33It did indicate
33:34that the file
33:34has been recompressed
33:35or converted.
33:36So does that mean
33:37this video is a fake?
33:38Not exactly.
33:40Compression
33:40may have introduced
33:42additional anomalies
33:43that can explain
33:44what we're seeing here.
33:45I don't see any evidence
33:46to support malicious intent
33:48to deceive.
33:49Something was within
33:50that scene
33:51that was being illuminated
33:52by the semi-tractor trailers.
33:54But you've got
33:55a camera technology
33:56that just couldn't
33:57capture it accurately.
34:03Our verdict?
34:04Unknown dash cam anomaly.
34:07According to Primo,
34:08there is definitely
34:09something on the side
34:10of this road.
34:11But its odd appearance
34:13can be attributed
34:14to poor recording equipment.
34:18Believe it or not,
34:19cattle are amazing creatures.
34:21They have nearly
34:22360-degree vision
34:24and can smell odors
34:26up to six miles away.
34:27Are they interesting enough
34:29for aliens to study?
34:31This video might be the proof.

34:35It's a quiet night
34:37in a barn
34:37on a rural farm,
34:39exact location unknown.
34:41A herd of cattle
34:42is standing peacefully
34:43in their pens.
34:44But around 11 p.m.,
34:46the motion-activated camera
34:47captures something
34:48extraordinary.
34:54A fully-grown bull
34:56comes bursting in
34:57through the ceiling.
34:58Miraculously,
34:59the bull appears unharmed.
35:01Now watch.
35:03As the bull struggles,
35:04a strange bright orb
35:06floats across the screen
35:09from right to left.
35:10After a few seconds,
35:11the bull manages
35:12to lift himself
35:13off the stanchion
35:14and walk away
35:15as if nothing happened.
35:18An anonymous poster
35:19soon uploads
35:20the video online
35:21where it immediately
35:23begins garnering hits.
35:25This video kind of ties
35:26into the classic story
35:28of cows being beamed up
35:29onto spacecraft,
35:31studied and analyzed,
35:32and then dropped back down
35:34into their pasture.
35:35Some UFO believers
35:37say the glowing orb
35:38crossing in front
35:39of the camera
35:40is all evidence
35:41that this cow
35:42was just returned
35:43from a UFO.
35:44But where does
35:45that idea come from?
35:47The answer is
35:48darker than you might expect.
35:50The idea of cow abduction
35:52by UFO really started
35:54after a wave
35:55of cattle mutilations
35:56in the mid-1970s.
35:58Farmers were finding
36:00their cows dead
36:01in their fields,
36:02but curiously,
36:03their eyes, ears,
36:04genitals, and tongues,
36:06among other organs,
36:07had been removed,
36:08and with such surgical precision,
36:10it almost looked like
36:11it was done
36:12by an intelligent species.
36:14Some farmers claimed
36:15to have seen lights
36:16in the sky
36:17over the site
36:18before they found
36:19their cows mutilated.
36:21This bull is still,
36:22thankfully, intact,
36:23but incidents like this
36:25are strikingly common.
36:26There are strangely
36:28many stories
36:29of cows falling
36:30from the sky.
36:31In November of 2007,
36:33near Lake Shalam, Washington,
36:34a 600-pound cow
36:36fell off a mountain
36:38and landed
36:39on the roof
36:39of a minivan
36:40of a couple
36:41just trying to celebrate
36:43their first wedding anniversary.
36:46Holy cow!
36:48This video is intense!
36:50But seriously,
36:51it is hard to imagine
36:53any animal
36:54surviving such a fall.
36:55Is it possible
36:57this creature
36:57had a late-night date
36:58with a UFO?

37:11Some online speculate
37:12this bull
37:13could have been thrown
37:13by a violent storm,
37:15but is there
37:16any evidence of that?
37:17There have been
37:18known instances
37:19of tornadoes
37:20picking up livestock,
37:21but when we look
37:22at the video,
37:22there's nothing
37:23that leads me to believe
37:24that the wind is strong.
37:26The debris that we see
37:27immediately after the cow falls
37:29falls vertically.
37:31There is no horizontal movement.
37:33So could this bull
37:34have truly fallen
37:35from a UFO?
37:37If a cow fell
37:39a great distance
37:40from a craft,
37:41like hundreds
37:41or thousands of feet,
37:43it for sure
37:43would not survive.
37:44It would die on impact.
37:46Even if it's not
37:48from that large
37:49of a distance,
37:50they're not great
37:51at withstanding falls
37:53due to their body structure.
37:56With its stocky,
37:57compact body,
37:58a cow can't distribute
38:00the weight of a fall
38:01the way, say,
38:01a tiger could.
38:03The entire force
38:04instead concentrates
38:06on its fragile legs.
38:07A fall over 20 feet
38:09would injure a cow,
38:10and 40 feet
38:11would probably kill it.
38:12It's likely this bull
38:14didn't fall more than 10 feet,
38:15which is an important clue.
38:18If we go back
38:19to the start of the video,
38:20go by one frame at a time,
38:22something you notice
38:23is that this portion
38:26of the roof here
38:26is actually starting to bend,
38:29which indicates to me
38:30that it's not the cow
38:31hitting the roof.
38:32It would indicate to me
38:33that the cow
38:34is already on the roof
38:35and the roof
38:35is just starting to give way.
38:38And the orb
38:39in the background?
38:40That's likely just
38:41the flashlight
38:41of a worried farmer
38:43checking on his livestock
38:44after spotting the bull
38:45on the roof.
38:46But what was it doing
38:47up there
38:48in the first place?
38:49What may have happened
38:51is that part of the roof
38:52was low enough
38:53to the ground
38:54that the cow
38:54could climb on it,
38:55or perhaps it was
38:57close to a hillside
38:59and the cow
39:00could get on the roof
39:01by climbing
39:02onto the hill first.
39:03But a cow,
39:04just like a lot
39:05of other animals,
39:06is probably just curious,
39:08and why not
39:09go on the roof?
39:14Our verdict?
39:16Roof collapse.
39:17We don't know
39:18whether or not
39:19other cows
39:20have had secret liaisons
39:22with extraterrestrials,
39:24but the idea
39:25that this guy
39:26was abducted
39:26by aliens
39:27is just a bunch
39:29of bull.
39:29From lost time
39:31to radiation burns
39:32and strange scars,
