00:00e poi ti prendi il loro agenzio e il loro libero, ma non lo vedono in questo modo
00:05lo vedono come ti cercando di controllare
00:09sì, è...
00:10è exaustante
00:11sì, è exaustante

00:28Hi Federico Vascotto from Italy for Movie Player, very nice to meet you
00:31Hi Federico, nice to see you
00:33How does it feel to be the one character that is always a step ahead, at least until the Mule
00:41arrives?
00:42You do a lot of convincing of people that, you know, you really know what you're talking about
00:47and that they should trust you and nobody wants to trust you
00:50because you can't tell them everything
00:53because if you do tell them, that'll change the way that they process the information
00:57and then they'll do something else
00:59and then you'll be taking away their agency and their free will
01:02but they don't see it that way
01:04you know, they see it as you trying to control them
01:07Yeah
01:09It's exhausting
01:10Yeah, it is exhausting
01:14And Alice Hendon reminds me, in a way, of Dr. Marathon from Watchmen
01:19I don't know if you read it
01:21because, yes, the responsibility to know all
01:26but, as you said, we can compare, in a way, the two
01:31the exhaustingness of both characters
01:35Well, I mean, it's a good analogy
01:38and actually the reason why they're not the same is also as instructive as how they are the same
01:43You know, Dr. Manhattan was all-powerful
01:48but had no particular connection to humans other than this one person
01:55and that was starting to disappear
01:57but, you know, the flip side on Harry is
02:02he doesn't have that sort of superpowers
02:05but for him to be compelling and to be effective
02:09you still need to find some way that he's recognizably human still, you know
02:13and not a kind of, you know, a visual representation of sort of how the computer how in 2001 or
02:23something, you know
02:23and, you know, he ends up just being a kind of expository device
02:28which isn't very interesting to watch
02:32That's true
02:33This season is the most shifting one until now
02:37Things change for all the characters because the mule arrives
02:40So we can say that about your character too
02:44because he is not in control anymore of all the narrative
02:49Yeah, I mean, it's it's the it's the big fear that he's always had was
02:54there would be some
02:57We've had Gail who has an ability that is unexplainable
03:01and now we have the mule
03:02who has this tremendous ability that's completely unexplainable
03:06that you can't really quantify
03:10in terms of the sort of traditional mathematical models that he has for predicting human behavior
03:17Yeah
03:17But it is the unpredictable thing in the equation
03:22in the perfect equation that Harry thought that he
03:26What can you think?
03:28What do you think the show and your character tells us about politics, especially today?
03:35I mean, I think that the show basically is saying that, you know, you can't leave power in the hands
03:41of
03:41of anybody for a very long time because it completely corrupts them, you know
03:46And that's surely the the idea that's happened with the Cleons is they've been in power for
03:53five to seven hundred years and it's completely rotted the empire from the from the inside
03:58I mean that family is falling apart at this point
04:03And they the the challenge with the mule is the mule
04:10The mule has the ability to unify all of mankind
04:15But to what purpose? You know, they're not using it for the the betterment of all mankind
04:22They're using it to satisfy, you know, sort of whatever ego needs that that character has
04:30And then, of course, is the idea of of which has been running through from the very beginning
04:37which is it's dealing with
04:39our need to worship our need to
04:43to create different sorts of religions and and hold figures up
04:51as as as God figures, if you like
04:53and how unworthy of worship those figures are
05:03This is where everything is headed
05:31You
05:32You
05:32You
05:33You
05:33You
05:34You
