01:31I don't know that there's a firm consensus on the number one receiver in this draft,
01:37but I would say if there is a consensus, it's Cornell Tate,

03:14The other part, if you look at the signings, nobody got signed to a five-year contract.

04:02Like, if you get those two healthy, along with Owe and Chason and Menuhu,
04:09like, you are not in a desperate need for a pass rusher like they were two weeks ago.

04:30If one of Bain, Bailey, Reese was there, you had to take him because you were just so desperate at

04:36I no longer think that's the case.
04:38I do think if Bain, Bailey, Reese is there, I still think there's a damn good chance they take one

04:52I think this opens up significantly what you could do with the pick on the offensive side of the football.
05:02I think they have to balance something, though, in Love, who looks like a stud.
05:08And the way people talk about him, smart football people talk about him, is significant.
05:15But, like, the receiver position is far more important in a roster construction manner and specific.
05:22Like, in a general sense, receiver is more important in the modern NFL.
05:27And in a specific sense, for Washington, it's more important.
05:30Because you have McLaurin, but he's only got guaranteed money left on his deal this year.
05:34And then we might have to do the dance again.
05:36And I don't think anybody wants to do that dance.

05:38There's cool dances to do, the Humpty Dance, the Freak Dance, and then there's the contract holdout dance that nobody
05:43likes.

05:46So, considering all that, where do you lean at seven?
05:54And all of it's going to depend on what happens ahead of them.
05:57It's entirely possible Jeremiah Love goes five to the Giants.
06:00See, for me, Jay, I don't lean anywhere at this point because they still have time to add other people
06:06to this thing.
06:07I think if I lean today, then all of a sudden, they may sign another two running backs tomorrow.
06:15And then you lean in another way, then they go get two receivers.
06:19And then they're back in a position, like I said.
06:21I think they have positioned themselves where they have the right to go with the best player available.
06:27And it's depending on what happens for the rest of free agency, what they'll probably do.
06:32I don't think we're going to really know a very good lean, like something 65%, 70%, until after, right before
06:43the week of the draft.

06:47And not only do I think you're correct in that they'll sign two more running backs.
06:51I think that before the draft, they'll sign three receivers.
06:54Now, a lot of those might be minimum one year, no guarantees, but they're going to fill out the roster.
07:01My contention is that none of what happens now until draft day should impact what they do in the draft.

07:15Take the best player that you think is there.

07:19This is the thing that we know happens in this league.
07:22We don't know who gets released and when and where.
07:25And when they make it, somebody gets released that they feel really fit something they want, they may go that

07:31And then that can adjust a little bit of what you think.
07:34I understand the best player available, but you may be able to say best player available at a certain level.
07:51For them to build the team closer to the draft, then I start thinking about that.
07:57But I know other people have already decided what they're going to do based off of the moves they made.
