00:01I love that question.
00:16In this second season, you and Paul say that you are almost like Batman and Robin.
00:22In the first season, you said that who are we, psychological vigilantes?
00:25So I want to know, do you really believe that you two are the Batman and Robin of mental health?
00:33I love that question.
00:36Yeah, except Harrison is a much more reluctant Batman in this dynamic.
00:41But I'm trying, Jimmy's trying to pull him in.
00:45And eventually, I think he'll make some progress.
00:48But the truth is that Jimmy could stand to be a little more like Paul,
00:52and Paul could stand to be a little more like Jimmy.
00:54And Gabby, she's Batgirl, so it's perfect.
00:56Yes, yes, exactly.
00:59Also, Paul, in this season, says that you can't escape from your past forever.
01:04I want to know if you agree with him.
01:06And how can we have the courage to face our past?
01:09Because it's not so easy.
01:10I do agree with him.
01:11And I feel the same thing.
01:12It's also been my experience of life.
01:14That until you take a hard look at the things that are...
01:19I think of it as a backpack.
01:21You're piling things into them throughout your life.
01:24Stuff that you're not ready to let go of.
01:27And until you take them out of the backpack and take a good hard look at them and set them
01:31on a shelf,
01:32they're going to be weighing you down back there.
01:36That's been my experience, and I think that's true of all of us.
01:39You just can't hide from anything.
01:41I really love Sean's character, and Jimmy helps him to really pursue his dream.
01:48And it's beautiful because it's not so easy to follow your dreams when everybody says to you that you are
01:58too late or you have not the quality.
02:01So how important is it to always try to fulfill our dreams?
02:09I don't know what else the point would be.
02:11You know, we're here for such a short time.
02:16And, yeah, one of my big regrets are the periods of my life when I missed it.
02:21You know, when I look back and think, oh, you really didn't go for it during those years.
02:27And now it's gone, or you were caught up doing this or that, and you kind of missed it.
02:32But so I think that that's part of Jimmy's moving forward ideas is make sure you're not getting stuck in
02:40a rut because time's going to keep moving with or without you.
02:43In the first season, Paul says that two vulnerable people will always find a way to connect.
02:51Again, I want to know if you agree with him.
02:53And how can we connect?
02:54Because I feel that we are all connected on social media, but we are less and less sympathetic in real
03:00life with each other.
03:01So how can we do that?
03:02Well, I'm not on social media, never have been.
03:06And yes, my experience, though, is not that there is a rare amount of vulnerable people.
03:14I think we're all vulnerable.
03:15Like we are we are all lonely.
03:17We're all dealing with the same sort of finite set of emotions, I think.
03:22And the more we're face to face with each other, the more that it becomes clear that I think we're
03:27fundamentally the same.
03:29How important is friendship because in each each character really puts friendship at the center of its life.
03:37So how important is friendship to you?
03:39Yeah, it's everything.
03:41I think that our connections are I think that our connections are the whole point.
03:45You know, that's that's sort of my spiritual belief.
03:49And it's why I think acting works is that we're all we're all meant to share in this crazy like
03:59life experience we're going through.
04:00OK, thank you so much.
04:01The show is amazing.
04:03I love it.
04:03Oh, hey, thanks a lot.
04:04Bye.
04:30Bye.
