00:00I think, in general, they're pretty dysfunctional, but it could be much worse for both of them.
00:05Yeah, yeah.
00:13Woo! Come on! Yeah!
00:15One second, one second, one second.
00:16Hey, Pinguini, how's it going?
00:19Oh, I love you too, sweetie.
00:21Bye.
00:22I love you, Pinguini.
00:23Hey, Pinguini.
00:24What? Come on.
00:25I'm Federico Bascotto from Italy for Movie Player.
00:28Hello.
00:29Hi there.
00:29Do you think it's safe to say that your characters are true, adorable disasters, especially when they get together?
00:37That's a safe thing to say.
00:39That is a safe space to say that thing.
00:42I agree.
00:43I think they're pretty, you know, they're not that bad.
00:46You could be much worse.
00:47I know people in my personal life who, in a million years, are not as functional as Will and Sylvia
00:54are in their worst days.
00:55So I think, in general, they're pretty dysfunctional, but it could be much worse for both of them.
01:03One thing that is really peculiar about this show is that the characters are true to the title, Platonic, because
01:10nothing ever really happens between them, romantically speaking.
01:14It's one of the reasons that made you say yes to start from the start to this project.
01:20I think the whole concept of that was very refreshing to us.
01:25And to be clear about it, like, it's not about them, will they, won't they?
01:29Yeah, it's about friends.
01:32And, yeah, I think for us, comedically, you could feel that, like, it's a rare dynamic to explore.
01:39It's like a man and a woman who truly do not have any romantic interest in one another and are
01:47just friends with one another.
01:48And I think allows us to be funny with one another in a way that feels, like, refreshing, you know?
01:54Yeah, you rarely see it. It's not, it's always will they, won't they? And this is, like, the people around
01:59them are discussing that.
02:00But that sort of gets over with pretty quickly and it just becomes about this highly dysfunctional but entertaining kind
02:07of friendship that they, that they have.
02:09They're only codependent.
02:11Yeah, exactly, totally, exactly.
02:14There's a line from your characters in this season that says, it's, it's just easier to yell at you than
02:21to get my shit together.
02:23We all have a friend that pulls out our best and our worst.
02:28Do you think Will and Celia are that kind of friends for, for each other?
02:33For sure, yes.
02:34We say that a lot.
02:35Yeah, it's almost like siblings, you know what I mean?
02:37I mean, like, I have that with siblings where I'm like, you can kind of blow off the handle with
02:42someone but it's not really about that.
02:43It's about something else, you know, but that's, so that's a, that's a funny line from the show.
02:48Yeah.
02:48Yeah, it's very true.
02:50To conclude, I want to congratulate you on, to set for the Emmy nominations for the studio.
02:56That is totally amazing.
02:57I appreciate that.
02:58Any chance that we see Rose maybe at, as herself in season two?
03:03Maybe.
03:04I think he said it.
03:06She didn't want to overkill.
03:10Bobby Neely was on.
03:11He was, I know.
03:12He couldn't figure it out, but.
03:13We'll figure it out.
03:14We'll figure it out.
03:15We want everybody.
03:15Yeah.
03:16I know, they all got nominated.
03:18Come on.
03:18It's like, it's a.
03:19Depends if she wants an Emmy nomination.
03:20It's a ticket.
03:21It's a ticket.
