00:19Ted is so nice is almost disturbing we are used to annoying people as Jamie Tart but when someone
00:26is so nice as Ted we think it's sinister so when you're being on being nice today is almost a
00:33weird
00:33thing yeah no I know and doesn't that say more about us and where we are than about the person
00:39you know it's uh that's that's that's what I find yeah I've I've shared that same you know confusion
00:45and you know cynicism uh for for people and and and their motives you know uh ulterior or overt and
00:53uh and yet you know sometimes you you get what you uh what you expect and other times if you're
00:59if you allow people to be you know themselves and sometimes themselves as a you know crappy version
01:05of them you'll find you'll find the the sunny side on the on the other side of that uh yeah
01:10I don't
01:11know if you have um uh there's an American uh cultural icon named uh Mr. Rogers um the close
01:17Italian example I know would be I don't know Gianfranco Zola um and there was uh there was a
01:23documentary about him and you watch this whole documentary being like uh-huh uh-huh yeah we're
01:27gonna find out that he wasn't so nice just wait no it never happened he actually just was nice there
01:32it is possible to live that way um we just forget that sometimes so yeah we uh take it for
01:39a walk with
01:39Ted Lasso and see where it goes Ted puts a sign in the locker room with the word believe sometimes
01:46it's hard to believe every day so how can we do it how can we always believe I think maybe
01:51you gotta
01:52adjust what you uh what you want to believe you know if if you believe you're going to play in
01:56the
01:57NBA and you know you're uh you know uh a five foot you know or I'll say you're only a
02:046'1 45 year
02:06old you know kid from Kansas probably not going to happen for me so maybe if I just believe I'm
02:11going to be able to watch the Eastern Conference Finals tonight then that might be all I need to
02:17believe yeah I mean yeah your option is to believe or or to not and uh and whether you do
02:24believe or not
02:24isn't going to affect the thing that you're believing in but you'll be in a better place
02:29mentally if you believe so just do it as a good friend in Oregon would say
02:35how can we be more curious and less judgmental because it's a wonderful motto
02:40but again it's hard so how can we do it yeah I think uh I mean what would Aaron Burr
02:46say talk less
02:47smile more smile more he's not a hero of that piece particularly no but but but I think if you
02:53add to that smiling uh you know listening you know a little a little more listening let you know
02:59I think that's that's a bit and also being um vulnerable enough to ask questions even if you
03:04think you're you know don't be afraid about you know someone you know laughing at you um but uh
03:11yeah I haven't seen the end of Hamilton so I don't know how that all turns out
03:14oh buddy it's a it's a whole it's a whole thing yeah but they just keep making Pixar movies you
03:19know
03:20so I like I just keep going going that app has so much to choose from I don't know what
03:24to do
