00:00Is this purely partisan, this war, or are there some in the ranks of the Republicans who are questioning the
00:07wisdom of the United States engaging militarily with Iran?
00:13What's the feeling within the party?
00:15Behind the scenes, certainly there's a lot of rumblings like, what are we doing?
00:18How long are we going to be here? Because everyone is worried about November's midterms.
00:22We have at least 45 House retirements and about a dozen or so senators from retiring as well.
00:31So we're going to have a completely brand new Congress next round.
00:35And we really need to be focused on winning.
00:38And right now, unfortunately, because of what's happening in Iran, it is definitely translating very poorly for the Republican Party
00:48back home for the midterms
00:50because of the cost of affordability, how all because everything here runs on gas.
00:56So everything from running our cars to running our businesses to buying groceries, it's all being affected.
01:02And if we don't stop that very soon, we're going to get punished for it.
01:07This is going to be a referendum on Trump come November.
01:09But I think he realizes that.
01:11And that's why he's gone back to the domestic issues by doing the affordability tour, making sure that he's talking
01:17to all Americans.
01:18He is doing everything he can to keep gas prices at a affordable rate.
01:24But whether or not Americans feel like they're having any sort of savings or that they're benefiting from this, that's
01:32too early to tell.
01:33But I do hope that this conflict ends soon.
01:36I think everybody would like that so that we can really just focus on what's happening here in the U
01:41.S.
