00:00Iran has threatened that if there is a resumption of hostilities, there'll be a much broader conflict.
00:06It will be beyond the Middle East. What could that mean? What would you expect that to look like?
00:12Well, it's very possible for Iran to activate their proxy network.
00:18I mean, we've known for some time that they have operatives that operate on a global basis
00:23that can orchestrate attacks in a variety of locations outside the Middle East
00:29and, of course, create some kind of impact.
00:31I don't think these are decisive in terms of changing the course of the war or the conflict,
00:37but they can certainly do damage and they can certainly widen the concern about this particular war.
00:44So I think it's important to appreciate that Iran has spent decades building up this network of proxy capabilities globally,
00:53not just in the region, that they can activate.
00:57So while they won't necessarily be decisive, they can do some damage
01:02and they can really cause some problems in trying to resolve this overall conflict.
