00:00As we've said many times on this show, it's between two crazy ideologies, each of them playing the victim.
00:07Iran is going to say, okay, look what they have done. I have now the right to target civilian areas
00:12in Israel.
00:13Israel is going to say, okay, the Iranians have been killing our people and threatening our people for so many
00:19times.
00:19So it's just a blame game. It's just benefiting from the others, you know, tough positions or attacks or so
00:27on.
00:27And unfortunately, once again, like it happened in Gaza, like it is in Lebanon now, like it is everywhere, it's
00:32the civilians that pay the price for all of this insanity.
00:37And neither of the two parties right now where we're standing is neither of the two parties are at that
00:41middle ground, that sweet spot that we have to try and find.
00:44And there's always a compromise. We've seen this with Ukraine and Russia, which has gone to the back burner right
00:49now.
00:49But we've seen it with the U.S. many, many times before when they hit into some sort of a
00:53conflict like this.
00:55And the U.S. said it wants unconditional surrender. But Iran has come back and said, well, I'll tell you
00:58what we want.
00:59Legitimate rights, military capability. We want repatriations, which is a bizarre thing to demand at the very, very start of
01:07a war.
01:07And they want to guarantee that Iran's never going to be attacked again.
01:10The U.S. is never going to agree to those three terms.
01:13And I don't think the international community will agree to that. And Israel is either.
01:17Both of them seem to be extreme in what they want, don't they?
01:20It's so far apart right now. And that's why I think I know we're 10 days in to this conflict,
01:24but we're no closer to it being some sort of a middle ground to meet.
01:27And again, I think if we're to listen to the rumours that the Ayatollah is currently indisposed and that he
01:32may be unwell, he may be perfectly fine for all we know.
01:35But if you're to listen to all those echoes right now, Iran doesn't seem to be in the strongest position
01:39to be able to have this negotiating bargaining chip, except for the Strait of Hormuz.
01:43It's its eighth card.
01:44That's it?
01:45Yeah.
