00:00A war that wasn't supposed to last more than six weeks. It's now entered its third month.
00:05And I'd like to ask you, first of all, how this is all playing out in the court of U
00:09.S. public opinion.
00:10Has anything changed since we spoke at the start of April?
00:14Well, numbers are going higher. We've got gas prices now.
00:19I think the average after this weekend was $4.46 a gallon.
00:23So that is up significantly. And it's gone up past the $4 mark, I believe, in the last month.
00:29We've got the price of oil at $1.10 a barrel. Again, that is up significantly over the last month.
00:35And more importantly, in the court of public opinion, there is a growing discomfort with the United States' actions in
00:43Iran.
00:44Now, having said that, the one thing that we haven't seen change is the support from the president's base.
00:51So we've seen Democrats and independents sour on the U.S. actions against Iran.
00:58But we haven't yet seen a massive defection from the president's Republican base and those in the quote-unquote mega,
01:05megaverse.
