00:00Michael, let's start with you. So we just heard from President Donald Trump there and also Secretary of War Pete
00:05Hegg says, do we have any clear idea of when and how this war will end right now? Because that's
00:13the question everyone wants to know the answer to.
00:16I don't think we have any idea, never mind any clear idea. I do think that when the war does
00:23come to an end, I think it'll be comments very similar to what Donald Trump made and Pete Hegseth made,
00:29which will be essentially a grocery list of what they have accomplished.
00:34So it'll be we fired X number of missiles. We dropped this number of bombs. We destroyed their military. We
00:41destroyed their leadership. We destroyed their Navy. We sank 51, 36, 42. I've heard him say different numbers of ships
00:48that they've sank that are at the bottom of the ocean now.
00:52And that I think is the best that he's going to be able to do, because the way the regime
00:57in Iran is structured, it's not just cutting off the snake or the head of the snake and then everything
01:04falls apart. It doesn't work like that.
01:06There are too many variables. And there are also two other parties that you have to consider, which is even
01:14if the U.S. says that they're done, will Iran agree? And then also, will Israel agree?
01:21And Iran has said just in the last little while that they will not allow one barrel of oil to
01:28be exported through the strait, which tells me that they're pretty determined to fight till the very end.
01:34And yet, you know, only about 20 percent of the 92 million people that make up Iran are, analysts say,
01:42you know, in supporting the regime as it is.
01:45So I don't know that you will have a consensus of all of the Iranians and the Americans and the
01:52Israelis.
01:53And then that's just we're talking just about the military side. There's the economic side. There's the technological side.
01:59There's the war of propaganda. There are so many different fronts that each side is trying to put their case
02:07forward to convince the public that they have, in fact, achieved whatever it is that they want to achieve.
02:13So until all of that happens, and I don't see how we're ever going to get to that place where
02:18everybody's going to agree that, yeah, it's over.
