00:00Hi, nice to meet you.
00:01Are you outside right now?
00:04Yes!
00:05I'm jealous! I want to be outside, it's a beautiful day!
00:24This movie made me think about what Galadriel tells Frodo.
00:30Even the smallest person can change the course of the future. Do you agree with her?
00:35A hundred percent. I feel like small people, if anything, we are built to overcome big obstacles because we're often
00:45underestimated.
00:46So we either have to choose to compensate for it in our personalities or our life choices and what we
00:54do with our lives,
00:55or we can just settle with being not seen or heard, and I'd rather do the latter.
01:00And I think Rachel is the perfect description of that.
01:04In the movie Rachel needs to remember who she is many times. How important is always remembering who we are?
01:13I feel as though she kind of does lose herself, though, in her father.
01:21The thing about it is this poor girl has only had her mother and her father her whole life.
01:31And she isn't somebody who's wealthy. She isn't somebody who is extraordinarily talented at something.
01:41She's just a regular kid who just loves and wants to be loved.
01:46And so when she loses her mother and when she has to fight for something and she's so young,
01:55it's almost like she has to develop this coping mechanism out of the trauma that she's endured.
02:00And in order to overcome and succeed at this venture at what she started with her father.
02:08And I love seeing the two of them because they're gonna butt heads.
02:13And I love the reason they butt heads is because they're so similar.
02:16They just have too much in common.
02:18And it's like you can't disagree because you're like, I would do the same exact thing.
02:25And it's as simple as that.
02:26You are also a singer.
02:29Have you think about what music Rachel would listen to?
02:34Yeah, I feel like a lot of I feel like a lot of hip hop, a lot of rock.
02:41I mean, I personally to get myself in the mindset of Rachel loved listening to Where Is My Mind by
02:48the Pixies from the like Fight Club soundtrack.
02:51And I seriously feel like that is such a such a great little song that really explains a lot of
03:01Rachel.
03:02And even the music sounds like Rachel and her journey.
03:06And I love that.
03:07You've done Sicario.
03:09Now this movie.
03:10Do you want to become the next John Wick because you are so tough?
03:15I would absolutely love that.
03:18I love action movies.
03:20They're my favorite and I would love to keep doing them for the rest of my life.
03:24So whether that's me getting a franchise or a TV show, I don't know.
03:29I'm looking forward to the future because I really do want that.
03:33And I'm putting it out there.
03:35I love Atomic Blonde with Charlize Theron.
03:37That's a great little inspiration for me.
03:42When you do your fighting scenes, do you think about music?
03:46Do you have some songs in mind?
03:49I wouldn't say I have a specific song in mind because most of the time I accidentally do the sound
03:55effects that are supposed to go along with the fun scenes.
03:58But, you know, like I'll just do the sound effects and it ruins everything.
04:05But luckily they put music behind it and everything's kind of fixed in ADR.
04:09But yeah, it is like a dance though.
04:12Everything is timed like a dance and everyone moves like you have a partner.
04:17Even the cameraman is involved in this dance and it is amazing to watch.
04:22And I've had experience dancing.
04:25So I know a thing or two about choreography and memorizing stuff.
04:28So the only trick is you have to act like you've never done it before.
04:34You've practiced it 50 million times.
04:36You have to be like, and now this punch that I didn't see coming is here.
04:41Oh no.
04:43Perfect. Amazing. Thank you so much.
04:45You have done a great work. Thank you. Bye.
