00:02I think that this film seems like a new step for you because I mean it's a romantic comedy but
00:08it's kind of edgy you explore things that we haven't seen you before on the screen yeah I got to
00:12curse I got to curse and and be be uh definitely it's definitely more it's a sex comedy you know
00:21and it was I was just saying earlier how liberating it was to be able to not like censor
00:28not not uh censor ourselves at what level Alexis she's in a period of her life in which she's looking
00:35for love or she doesn't know she's dating at what level do you did you identify with her even though
00:40your personal situation is different um yeah I think I think just as a woman as a like a young
00:48woman you know when you go through your life you know ex you know going out and meeting people and
00:55seeing where you fit into the
00:57the world of being like single and and doing things for yourself and that shift it's like most women I
01:05think in their mid mid-twenties when they start to go okay wait a minute what is it that I'm
01:10looking for in my life and how what kind of relationship works for what I'm what my ambitions are for
01:19my career or my you know you know goals and stuff so yeah
01:25how how does uh how important is honesty for you as an actress to make us believe that you are
01:30today Alexis and tomorrow someone else
01:33well I think I think for me key is like for it to look to feel effortless like it's not
01:39like you're not acting you know what I mean
01:41like I I I find that some of the most underrated actors are sometimes the most effort like they make
01:48it look so effortless
01:49that's one thing about my dad that I love about his work you know Kurt's always he just makes
01:57everything look so easy and that's not easy so that's kind of I think my goal in everything except that
02:08when
02:08I'm doing it you have to be when you're you know you have to really if something doesn't feel honest
02:13it's that fine line of like having to go out of like really try things and put everything into
02:18something in order to get it or to see if it feels right and and and you know sometimes sometimes
02:25you
02:25do it do something that's completely dishonest um because you're stretching to get somewhere and it
02:32actually ends up working you know it's you know what do you think tanks character brings into Alexis she
02:39changes a little I mean she explores things that she never did like yeah well I think he sort of
02:44loosens her up you know I mean I think he kind of makes her feel like oh like I don't
02:49have to take
02:50my life so seriously and uh have some fun and kind of just you know be crazy would you say
02:59that with
02:59comedy we can explore topics that could be difficult but comedy makes them lighter and then you send a
03:06message but it's much more you know acceptable I think yeah I think comedy is one of those things
03:11like they always say like you know it's it's you know it laughter actually you know laughter is actually
03:20a healing it's it's a it's a healing uh uh when we when we laugh it it it it affects
03:29our this is
03:31actually really interesting which you did but it affects our brain and it takes us out of things
03:37like depression or um uh or you know uh it it it actually has like qualities that make you your
03:46body
03:46sort of you know your endorphins work at a different uh place or whatever I don't even know what I'm
03:51talking about no it makes you healthy no what I'm trying to say is yes I'm trying to say when
03:56you
03:56when it it's so difficult to make somebody laugh and when you laugh it actually it is it's a healing
04:02quality it heals and and I think that's uh something that you know which is why for us and for
04:10like my
04:11my life and how I was raised and stuff it's like you know to not take yourself so seriously to
04:17go in
04:18and make these movies and and and especially this movie and be able to like sex and relationships is the
04:24most fun thing to talk about and that's where you cry the most and you laugh the most is when
04:29you're talking about love relationships and sex relationships so of course you know most of
04:35these movies I think a lot of comedies are based around those things relationships because that's
04:40one thing we can all relate to so much so thank you very much god it was great that was
