01:04So I know that you were a little apprehensive about moving from Calgary to,
01:08we're in the foothills now, but you're not far, right?
01:11So driving up here, it was like 20 minutes.
01:13Yeah, still close to the gyms and coffee and all the friends and everything.
01:17So I think we could maybe make this work between everything.
01:27Decided to branch out a little bit from kind of the typical houses in the city.
01:32And yeah, find something with a little bit more space and a bit of a house for myself and my
01:39partner.
01:40I know I've been pushing Cassidy to maybe look outside the city.
01:45Kind of twisted her arm to come and look in the country and got us to here.
01:49And I think I'm easing her into that hopefully thought process.

01:56Dad's pretty handy.
01:57He's kind of our renovation expertise.
02:00I always had my hands in construction and actually quite enjoyed it.
02:05And that's hopefully what I'm trying to bring to the table for sure.
02:10My parents actually live pretty close to this area.
02:13And I think to have these like really nice rolling hills and be close to the city is still really
02:19important to me.
02:20It's a good mix between being out of the city, but still close enough to enjoy the amenities.
02:26I think I'm kind of looking forward to doing a little bit more of a renovation type than something that
02:32maybe is just ready to go.
02:34Something that's bright and like has a lot of light coming in.

02:42A nice master with an ensuite I think is important to me.

18:14one of the area's gems, to see why this place could be the perfect spot for them to call home.

18:27but I want to ask you a few questions about what it's like to live in the area for our
18:32viewers.
18:33So Sirocco Golf Course is in the foothills.
18:35We're just south of Calgary, about five minutes.
18:37It's beautiful.
18:38A lot of acreages, a lot of people that want to live a quiet life.
18:42It's a beautiful piece of property.
18:44You've got the mountains with BAMP to the west.
18:46You've got the foothills right amongst us.
18:47So it's a nice place to live.
18:49You're pretty much like in the between of like two really good worlds, it feels like here.
18:54We are.
18:55You know, it's quiet at night.
18:57It's busy during the day.
18:59Like we're a real busy golf course during the summer.
19:01The winter, it slows down.
19:02But yeah, you're right.
19:04It is in between.
19:05We're close enough to the city if we want to go there,
19:07but we're far enough away that we don't have to hear it.
19:09It seems like there's a really great, safe community to live here too.
19:12It feels like a sense of like really trusting your neighbours, helping each other out.
19:17Do you get that sense living here as well?
19:19We do.
19:19We really promote that though.
19:20A lot of our members live within the area.
19:23The people that come here come here to enjoy a great golf course,
19:25but they're also a big part of this community.
19:27These memberships, they've known each other for years.
19:28They play together.
19:31And we're starting to be known by the rest of the world.
19:33We're a busy golf course.
19:34But yeah, people enjoy it here.
19:35It's pretty gorgeous.
19:36And I love the setting in this restaurant particularly.
19:39So basically, I'm going to help myself to a nice table right by the window
19:43so I can enjoy all of this picturesque view.
