00:00You know how the WNBA gals are fighting to get more money?
00:03Even though it's a joke that they should get a nickel more than they get
00:05because they've been subsidized by the NBA and they lose a fortune every year.
00:09That's not the purpose of the story.
00:10Well, that's one side of it.
00:11They're also negotiating for when it becomes profitable, what percentage they get.
00:19They also want housing, they want cars, they want massages.
00:22They didn't ask for cars. You made that up.
00:24They still want smaller balls, so Ethan could probably help them out with that.
00:28But Cameron Brink is one of the more popular gals.
00:34I think we talked about her a few weeks back.
00:35Yes.
00:36Cameron Brink, she was going to be in Playboy?
00:38She said that she would do it if her boyfriend was on board.
00:41And then I asked the question, whoever asked you?
00:43She did the body issue of ESPN and stuff.
00:47Yeah.
00:47And she did SI as well.
00:49If I remember correctly, when Cameron Brink said that she would do Playboy
00:52if her boyfriend or fiance said it was okay with him,
00:55I think I referenced the Chris Rock Rihanna joke.
00:58Yes.
00:58At the Oscars or the Grammys that year, whatever it was.
01:01Mm-hmm.
01:01Oh, no, it was the Oscars.
01:03That was when Jada Pinkett Smith was boycotting the Oscars.
01:07And Chris Rock said, Jada Pinkett Smith boycotting the Oscars
01:11is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties.
01:14Nobody invited me.
01:15Yeah.
01:15I do wonder if he regressed that joke after getting slapped.
01:18They're doing a one-on-one sit-down.
01:20They are.
01:20Yes, Will Smith and Chris Rock, I forget what network's got it,
01:23but they're doing the one-on-one sit-down, the slap heard around the world.
01:28Now, I'll tell you something right now.
01:30Oh, apparently that's not real.
01:31If I'm-
01:32That's not real.
01:33I'm going to pretend it's real for a second.
01:35Well, you put us in line.
01:35If Chris Rock-
01:37Because we share it online.
01:38If Chris Rock was ever going to do a one-on-one sit-down with Will Smith,
01:41and the guys are telling me it's fake, it's not happening-
01:44Well, because if we put it online, they will do it, yeah.
01:46Well, I'll tell you to be clear.
01:48Apparently, the story that Chris Rock and Will Smith are doing a one-on-one sit-down
01:52is a fake story.
01:54Okay.
01:54However-
01:55There you go.
01:55If it were a true story, and I'm Chris Rock, we sit down,
02:01and at the very top, I say to Will Smith, Will, before we get started,
02:07quick question for you.
02:09What did the five fingers say to the face?
02:12Slap!
02:15And then I get up and I roll.
02:17Yeah, well, the problem-
02:18That's what I would do.
02:18That's what you would try to do.
02:19That's what I would try to do.
02:20The problem is-
02:21Is that he was Muhammad Ali.
02:22Right.
02:22Like, he still trades.
02:24He still goes into the gyms in California to stay sharp.
02:27Well, in any event, while they may or may not happen,
02:31it just reminded me of the great Chris Rock joke about Rihanna's panties.
02:34So, Calvin Brink made the news,
02:37and I guess proved that, similar to a lot of her NBA brethren,
02:42women basketball players ain't that bright either.
02:44All right?
02:44Because Calvin Brink said that last season,
02:47she decided to try to get her nutrition right.
02:51Right.
02:52Okay?
02:52She was coming off an ACL tear.
02:55Great.
02:55So, yeah.
02:56And, by the way, I respect that.
02:57You want to make sure your nutrition's right
02:59so you can perform at the highest possible levels
03:02in your chosen sport.
03:04Yeah.
03:04So, she hired a private chef.
03:06Okay?
03:07Mm-hmm.
03:07Cameron Brink, her word's not mine.
03:09Yeah.
03:09She acknowledged yesterday
03:11that the private chef wound up costing her $7,000 a month.
03:17Yeah.
03:17Which, by the way, seems about right.
03:19About right.
03:20Private chef.
03:21They provide the food.
03:22Probably a graduate of a culinary institute.
03:23And they also go get the food.
03:25Yeah, I don't know about all that.
03:26But they do.
03:27No, no.
03:28I don't think the chef pays for the food.
03:30I think you pay the chef a salary,
03:32and they also have your credit card to buy the food.
03:36Pretty sure that's how that works.
03:37I think.
03:38Like, you don't pay the chef,
03:39and out of the chef's income,
03:41they also buy you your chicken or your steak or your lobster.
03:45Lobster?
03:46You're a lobster guy.
03:47Yeah, I am.
03:48But she's not.
03:49Matter of fact, I tell you a little secret about Tyrone Johnson.
03:51You add lobster to anything, he orders it.
03:54No.
03:54You do.
03:55You always have.
03:56That's your thing.
03:57Oh, lobster mac and cheese.
03:58I'll have that.
03:59Lobster fries.
04:00I'll have that.
04:01Who doesn't want lobster fries?
04:02See?
04:03But the lobster mac is heavy.
04:05Yeah.
04:06In any event, let me just get to the bottom of the story.
04:08It's a quick six-minute segment here, okay?
04:10Uh-huh.
04:10So she spent $7,000 a month on a private chef.
04:16Her WNBA salary was $6,500 a month,
04:21meaning Cameron Brink spent her entire check every month
04:26on the private chef and didn't have enough money
04:30to cover what the private chef was charging her,
04:33meaning no gasoline, meaning no makeup, no clothes, no nothing.
04:38But the private chef, her entire salary went to the private chef,
04:43and she was $500 in debt every month
04:47because she got paid less than what she was paying her private chef.
04:51Some people might say, not me, of course,
04:55but there are those after that are saying,
04:58good thing she's got a man.
