00:36-year-old Mojabah Khamenei as his father's successor as early as Wednesday morning,
00:41but that some had expressed reservations, fearing that it could expose him as a target for the US and Israel.
00:48Khamenei led Iran for 36 years before he was killed in a joint US-Israeli operation over the weekend.
00:54He will be buried in his home city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran.
