00:20is now petitioning the NCAA, who I like to dub as the National Communist Association of America, and how they
00:28run that organization or think they run that organization.
00:32They petitioned them because of a medical hardship.
00:35He's trying to get another year of eligibility.
00:38I believe it's the seventh season now that he's trying to get to be the quarterback of the Virginia Cavaliers.
00:44I say this all the time.
00:46It is absolutely great.
00:48Watching the NCAA lose, lose, lose, lose these cases.
00:56You know, I heard something interesting at the Combines.

01:08draft board if we had guys that decided not to stay in college.
01:14More kids are staying in college.

01:16Because they're getting an opportunity to be economically sound and set when they leave college.

01:24If you look at Arch Manning, when Arch Manning leaves Texas and he leaves Austin, he would have made nearly
01:32$20 million before he even takes a professional snap in the National Football League.
01:40College football, college football, college basketball is becoming more of an economical stay for these kids.
01:47It's actually making the college ranks better.
01:51Another, the NCAA is still getting in the way with their antiquated rules and a rule book that has not
01:59been updated since 1954.
02:03They think they still have control over these players.

02:32I think it's a great thing, and to see Chandler Morris do the same thing, that is absolutely fabulous.
02:39Listen, I had a year of my eligibility taken away, and this has been a crusade of mine for over
02:4625 to 30 years.
02:48When they took my eligibility away, because I tried to graduate, go figure, I tried to graduate, the NCAA came
02:58in and said,
02:59no, we're taking your senior year away from you at the University of Miami.
03:04And I always thought that that, to me, cost me millions of dollars, and it cost me an opportunity to
03:11go higher in the draft.
03:12I ended up getting drafted anyway, I was the 56th player taken, but still, they took my senior year away
03:20from me.
03:20And I am so glad to see that these kids are fighting the NCAA in the most important place.
03:27You know where that is? The courtroom.
03:30They are beating the NCAA in what's right and wrong.
03:34For years, they believed that they were the upper hand and the heavy hand of college sports.
03:41And they were always on the players, and they would never, ever give the player the opportunity to ever come
03:49back and play in college.
03:51With the money that's being generated, with nil, name, likeness, and image, all of that stuff, make no mistake about
03:59it,
03:59I think college sports is in a great place.
04:02I know that there's people that completely disagree with me on this.
04:05They think college sports right now, and they want to see the president, and they want to have a get
04:11-together at the White House over the next couple months
04:14and talk about the landscape of college sports.
04:17There's no such thing as amateur sports.
04:21Amateur sports is gone.
04:23It is long gone.
04:25It has been long gone.
04:28The only thing that people hide behind, it's amateurs.
04:31They hid behind that for decades, when people were making millions and millions of dollars.

04:41He's making $14 million a year.
04:44Do you realize that would be the sixth highest paid coach in the National Football League right now?
