00:02:19UFO reports have been collected, researched and documented for decades.
00:02:24For the most part, if we are to believe the findings of the U.S. government's own investigation into UFOs
00:02:30through its program Project Blue Book,
00:02:33then a vast percentage of cases have a very rational explanation behind them, the misidentification of airplanes, planets, and strange
00:02:42weather anomalies, to name a few.
00:02:45However, a large number of cases remain that simply cannot be explained away.
00:02:56Especially when considering the countless testimonies from such highly credible witnesses as commercial airline and military pilots, police officials, and
00:03:06first responders.
00:03:07In addition, are the mounting files of the classified documents, video and photographic images, and even physical evidence collected to
00:03:17substantiate their claims.
00:03:23As years go by, it is obvious that UFO sightings have not ceased.
00:03:29To the contrary, sightings throughout the world are continuing more than ever.
00:03:35What is categorically undeniable is that people are truly experiencing phenomena that are very real, and that the origins of
00:03:45this phenomenon may very well be from another world.
00:03:52And we may discover the truth sooner than later, as the hint of disclosure is slowly coming forth to the
00:04:00public.
00:04:01In fact, at the time of producing this documentary, more information on the topic of UFOs is gradually being released
00:04:10to the New York Times from the Pentagon on an almost daily basis.
00:04:16But if this is the case, that a full disclosure of the government's knowledge and involvement into the matter of
00:04:22UFOs be eminent, then why the grounds for secrecy in the first place?
00:04:30And what becomes of the legacies of those who previously came forth, only to have their lives destroyed by ridicule,
00:04:38harassment, and in some cases, death?
00:04:47The unbelievable possibility of our planet being visited by otherworldly beings is groundbreaking, historic in epic proportions, and nonetheless, very
00:04:59real.
00:05:00Yet what is even more unbelievable is the inconceivable notion that the citizens of planet Earth have been denied the
00:05:08truth that visitations of extraterrestrials to our planet exists.
00:05:13Why?
00:05:15Why?
00:05:16Why may the single most significant discovery in humankind be kept a secret under a veil of mystery, murder, intrigue,
00:05:25and national security?
00:05:30Is there one single person, or group for that matter, who possess all knowledge of the existence of extraterrestrials and
00:05:38their visitations to Earth?
00:05:40What is the truth?
00:05:42Why keep it secret?
00:05:44Why keep it secret?
00:05:45And most importantly, who's in charge?
00:05:52Good evening, my fellow Americans.
00:05:55First, I should like to express my gratitude to the radio and television...
00:05:59At the end of Dwight D. Eisenhower's presidency, having fulfilled two successful terms as Commander-in-Chief of perhaps the
00:06:07greatest military power on Earth, his farewell address to the nation sounds more like a warning than that of a
00:06:15goodbye.
00:06:15In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the
00:06:25military-industrial complex.
00:06:27The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.
00:06:40Could it be that this great power, that he termed the military-industrial complex, eventually become so powerful that perhaps
00:06:49one day, even its very own leaders could be phased out?
00:06:55Was this a warning that the fate of future presidents will find themselves helpless against controlling what actions, advancements, and
00:07:03procedures are underway within the military-industrial complex under the guise of black ops?
00:07:33Wrapped in a weave of secret projects and black operations, resides the military-industrial complex.
00:07:39There, you will find government, military, and private sector companies working, though not always together.
00:07:48They set their own agendas, their own hours of operation, their own policies, and most disturbing, their own laws.
00:08:02Their specialties range from photographic, metallurgy, and propulsion research,
00:08:07to highly advanced weaponry and aerospace technology.
00:08:12In fact, the 1950s saw an amazing surge of advancements in weapons and aerospace technology under the operations of the
00:08:21military-industrial complex.
00:08:23Yet it is impossible to also overlook the fact that the 1950s saw its greatest surge in UFO activity as
00:08:32well.
00:08:34Some will argue that this was the most significant era for UFO sightings.
00:08:43Just four months prior to Eisenhower's election, the news outlets were filled with headlines that UFOs had been seen flying
00:08:52over Washington DC in what appeared to be a massive wave of sightings that lasted for several days.
00:08:59Was this a message, a warning?
00:09:03According to the Air Force, and despite radar, eyewitnesses and even photographic evidence, the official conclusion was that it was
00:09:13all a glitch in the radar, a mirage caused by temperature inversions.
00:09:21This event did, however, lead to the formation of a scientific examination on just what UFOs were and their effect
00:09:29on the American people.
00:09:31This was known as the Robertson Panel.
00:09:41In the first half of 1952, during the span of several months, reports of unidentified flying objects were coming in
00:09:50at an alarming rate.
00:09:51While at the same time, U.S. relations with the Soviet Union were continuing to deteriorate.
00:09:58The Cold War had been well underway for at least seven years, and Communism posed a serious threat to national
00:10:05security.
00:10:07With looming concerns and anxieties on the rise from both the American citizens and within the U.S. government, this
00:10:15new idea of facing a possible second threat from some unknown enemy of an unknown origin entering our airspace became
00:10:24much to worry about.
00:10:29It was still unclear as to the origins of the strange objects, now seen throughout the world, and speculations began
00:10:37to arise.
00:10:38Were they from another country?
00:10:40Could they be advanced German technology, perhaps from relocated and newly formed, hidden Nazi bases, maybe in South America?
00:10:50Some believed that these objects came from the center of the Earth, while others theorized that they were time travelers
00:10:58from other dimensions.
00:11:01But of all the speculation, the most popular theory as to where UFOs came from was that of another world.
00:11:15And if this were true, then the technology that UFOs possess would be far superior to anything we would have
00:11:23here on Earth.
00:11:25And if their technology were as advanced as many believe it to be, then how further advanced were their weapons?
00:11:38As early as 1947, the U.S. felt it necessary to begin investigating these matters, under the codenames of Project
00:11:47Sign and later Project Grudge.
00:11:51Then in April of 1952, in an effort to ensure the public that their skies were indeed safe and secure,
00:12:01Project Grudge was changed once more and became what is now known as Project Blue Book.
00:12:09But Project Blue Book was a very low-level operation, with a minuscule budget and staff.
00:12:16It appeared as though right out of the gate, Project Blue Book was not about taking the UFO phenomena seriously.
00:12:25I am here to discuss the so-called flying saucers.
00:12:31The Air Force interest in this problem has been due to our feeling of an obligation to identify and analyze
00:12:40to the best of our ability anything in the air that may have the possibility of threat or menace to
00:12:47the United States.
00:12:48In pursuit of this obligation since 1947, we have received and analyzed between 1,000 and 2,000 reports that
00:12:59have come to us from all kinds of sources.
00:13:01Of this great mass of reports, we have been able adequately to explain the great bulk of them, explain them
00:13:11to our own satisfaction.
00:13:13We have been able to explain them as hoaxes, as erroneously identified friendly aircraft, as meteorological or electronic phenomena, or
00:13:24as light aberrations.
00:13:26However, there have been a certain percentage of this volume of reports that have been made by credible observers of
00:13:36relatively incredible things.
00:13:39It is this group of observations that we now are attempting to resolve.
00:13:45We can say that the recent sightings are in no way connected with any secret development by any department of
00:13:53the United States.
00:13:55But it seems that after the wave of sightings that occurred over the skies of our nation's capital in July
00:14:02of 1952, UFOs would, in fact, need a more stringent look that went far beyond the capacity of Project Blue
00:14:12Book.
00:14:15It was then Director of Intelligence General Walter Beetle Smith, who issued a directive in the fall of 1952, to
00:14:24conduct a massive inquiry into the study of UFOs, their origins, and their intentions.
00:14:33This group would later assemble for a three-day review in January of 1953, and would be known as the
00:14:41Robertson Panel.
00:14:45The purpose of the Robertson Panel would be to get to the bottom of just what people were seeing in
00:14:52the skies overhead, and to ease any growing public hysteria.
00:14:59Another matter of concern was what would happen if such technology wound up in the wrong hands.
00:15:08This would be a matter for the Office of Scientific Investigations, the OSI, to once and for all conduct a
00:15:17serious and scientific study into the UFO phenomena.
00:15:20Their findings were neither serious nor scientific, concluding that there was little to nothing of scientific value in UFO reports,
00:15:32and that there was no evidence of a direct threat to national security, despite credible testimonies and the fact that
00:15:39some UFO sightings had been seen within the borders of highly sensitive military installations.
00:15:47The Robertson Panel even went so far as to make researching UFOs itself a mockery, and this has led to
00:15:55decades of significant UFO reports continuing to rise, while very little interest is given from the scientific community.
00:16:11In its findings, we also begin to see the beginnings of the US government collaborating with companies within the private
00:16:19sector, such as the Battelle Memorial Institute, a non-profit applied science and technology company that happens to have a
00:16:28vast expertise in metallurgy.
00:16:30The science behind the properties of common and exotic metals.
00:16:37One thing is certain, though it did not solve or attempt to research the topic of UFOs any further, it
00:16:44did achieve one of its major directives.
00:16:47It put an end to any growing public hysteria.
00:16:53If UFOs could so easily be explained, from as far back as the early 1950s, then why the continued need
00:17:01of secrecy for the past 70 years?
00:17:04Many people believe a massive cover-up has been underway since 1947, when news reports of a crashed disk recovered
00:17:12in Roswell, New Mexico, made headlines throughout the world, and that the government knows much more than what it wants
00:17:19to share with the public.
00:17:20But what do they know?
00:17:23And what if the many documents that have surfaced over the past 40 years are true, such as the 1952
00:17:32briefing documents to then-President-Elect Eisenhower regarding a mysterious group known as MJ-12?
00:17:58On the morning of Tuesday, November 18, 1952, it is believed that a set of documents crossed the desk of
00:18:05President-Elect Eisenhower that are unlike anything he has ever seen before.
00:18:10At first glance, they appear to be typical top-secret documents, the kind he has grown accustomed to reading.
00:18:17But upon further inspection, it soon becomes evident that within these papers lay information that will not only alter the
00:18:27fate of the planet, but of the solar system and perhaps the universe itself.
00:18:37These are the MJ-12 documents.
00:18:41And if we are to assume the story is accurate, and that these papers are authentic, as some believe them
00:18:47to be, then they could very well be one of the most significant smoking guns regarding the government's direct involvement
00:18:54into the study of UFOs and life on other planets as we know it.
00:19:01And it is from these documents that Eisenhower will learn of a secret group of men assigned by then-President
00:19:09Harry S. Truman with the specific duties of researching, studying, collecting, and reporting directly to the President all findings regarding
00:19:19the recent discovery of extraterrestrials and their mission here on Earth.
00:19:26The group will be known as the Majestic 12.
00:19:32Could the MJ-12 documents be real?
00:19:35Well, one thing seems certain.
00:19:38For as much information as they seem to provide, there is still much more information that is left out.
00:19:45But that should not dismiss the fact that throughout the 1950s, during the majority of Eisenhower's term, our interest in
00:19:54UFOs, science, and development in space and weapons technology grew more than in any other period in time.
00:20:03Is there also any truth to the stories that Eisenhower possibly knew more about UFOs than any other President before
00:20:13or since?
00:20:16And there are some startling revelations that suggest that the President himself had his own personal encounters with UFOs and
00:20:27their occupants.
00:20:34With regards to secret military projects, black operations, conspiracies, and UFOs, the first question that always comes to mind is,
00:20:45Just how much does the President know?
00:20:49And from where or whom does he get his information?
00:20:53Is it the CIA?
00:20:55The Joint Chiefs?
00:20:56The FBI?
00:20:58Or could it be the Office of Naval Intelligence?
00:21:03Today, with so many different agencies, it is very easy to understand how, through compartmentalization, the idea of one single
00:21:14agency or group of people knowing everything on a single topic is virtually impossible.
00:21:21Let alone, a topic as vast and as fragmented as UFOs.
00:21:29But in the 1950s, was it possible that Eisenhower knew much more at that time than any other President since?
00:21:39And what about the countless rumors that, for decades, have claimed, Eisenhower allegedly had his own personal encounters with UFOs?
00:21:53One mysterious event took place while the President was relaxing at the sprawling 400-acre Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm
00:22:01Springs, California, on February 20, 1954.
00:22:05On this particular evening, the President simply vanished, and for a span of several hours, was nowhere to be found.
00:22:15His disappearance was troubling enough that the Associated Press went as far as to release a statement that Eisenhower had
00:22:23died of a heart attack.
00:22:27The following morning, it was made clear that the President had simply broken a tooth, and that an emergency trip
00:22:35to the dentist had been arranged.
00:22:37This explanation seems to have settled the press, although others believe that the visit to the dentist office was nothing
00:22:45more than a cover story for what really happened on that February night in 1954.
00:22:52According to some, late that evening, the President was quietly escorted out of the Smoke Tree Ranch residence in Palm
00:23:00Springs, and taken in an unmarked car whereby he was either flown or driven to an undisclosed location at what
00:23:08was then Murok Air Force Base, now known as Edwards Air Force Base.
00:23:14Once there, it is said that Eisenhower witnessed flying discs performing unbelievable feats of aerial maneuvers, and then was given
00:23:23a VIP invitation, not only to go inside an alien craft, but to meet with the extraterrestrials themselves.
00:23:33Palm Springs to Murok Air Force Base was a distance of roughly 110 miles, and many researchers believe this event
00:23:41could not have happened, given that, in order to make a drive of that distance, Eisenhower would have been in
00:23:48a car for a total of five hours that night, and still need to be ready and alert for his
00:23:54early morning activities, which included a church service.
00:23:59Yet, had he simply flown directly from Palm Springs to Murok Air Force Base, the flight would have been less
00:24:05than 20 minutes, making the events of that evening plausible and possible.
00:24:12Unfortunately, there are no records of the event ever taking place.
00:24:16But if a meeting had occurred, what would have been discussed?
00:24:21One can only speculate.
00:24:23But one likely reason for a meeting could have been to discuss the growing concern of our most recent and
00:24:29deadly advancement.
00:24:42By the early 1950s, the United States alone had detonated well over 60 atomic devices, and with each new weapon
00:24:50came better technology to make them more accurate and far more deadly.
00:24:54An everlasting testament to the growing power of the United States military.
00:25:02As it so happened, along with the surge in nuclear testing throughout the planet, so too began an influx in
00:25:10UFO activity.
00:25:12Could this be classified as a mere coincidence?
00:25:16Not if you consider the possibility that mankind's first foray into the atomic age sent a shockwave throughout the cosmos
00:25:24that could have been felt by other more intelligent beings in the universe.
00:25:29And, as if it were a beacon, the infant civilization of Earth was now declaring that it had taken its
00:25:39seat at the grown-up table, but with such a bold statement rightfully earned.
00:25:47There is the more disconcerting idea that we had now possessed a power far beyond our understanding, and with great
00:25:56and dire consequences if used improperly.
00:26:01Had extraterrestrials been watching us the whole time?
00:26:04Patiently observing from the outskirts of Earth's orbit, like an overprotective parent, with a child just out of reach, yet
00:26:13always keeping a sharp, keen eye out.
00:26:19It is unclear as to any validation to support the 1954 encounter ever happened between Eisenhower and aliens, but a
00:26:28more feasible encounter may, in fact, have taken place just one year later, at Holloman Air Force Base in 1955.
00:26:38It is rumored that during these meetings, an agreement was made between the United States and the extraterrestrials, a treaty
00:26:47of sorts, that not only may have involved an interplanetary exchange program between Earthlings and extraterrestrials, but would also grant
00:26:57our planet the aid of advanced alien technology to use for the betterment of our society.
00:27:04In return, the U.S. government would put a cease on all nuclear weapons.
00:27:10Whether true or not, it is evident that our world's leaders have not held up their end of the bargain,
00:27:17and in doing so, the United States alone have tested over 1,030 nuclear bombs, bringing the world's total to
00:27:272,056 by the year 2017.
00:27:31Yet through all of this, one thing remains undeniable.
00:27:35It was during this period in time that our quest for the stars became a reality.
00:27:43It also saw the beginning of a more elaborate means for the need of secrecy.
00:27:49In the inner sanctum of the Nellis Air Force Range is a secret base that, until recently, the government denied
00:27:58it ever existed.
00:28:06The story of Area 51 started out simple enough as a natural dry lake bed.
00:28:12But in 1955, the isolated region and its surrounding mountain range became the choice location for building a facility designated
00:28:22to test the military's latest secret, the U-2 spy plane.
00:28:28The flat surface of land provided the perfect location for an extremely long landing strip.
00:28:35And as the facility grew, it became home to even more secret military aircraft, much to the dismay of Eisenhower,
00:28:44who only grew more frustrated as each new project was approved without his knowledge.
00:28:49Rumor has it that he became enraged when he first discovered the existence of a particular project by learning about
00:28:57it in, of all places, a popular magazine article.
00:29:02It became clear that the President of the United States, once a five-star Army General, was no longer privy
00:29:11to the nation's most sensitive operations within the military industrial complex.
00:29:19And if Eisenhower was not calling the shots, who were?
00:29:25It is possible that Area 51, as well as its surrounding facilities, are leased out by the Air Force to
00:29:34private companies, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, EG&G, General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman, to name a few.
00:29:44Companies that not only had massive defense contracts for the research and development of advanced weapons systems, but as it
00:29:52turned out, in 1955, all specialized in the new and fast-growing field of aerospace.
00:30:03And as time went on, insiders claimed that not just man-made aerospace projects were being conducted within the Groom
00:30:11Lake facility of Area 51.
00:30:15And what may continue to today is a complex system of black projects funded by siphoned-off tax dollars from
00:30:24undisclosed budgets.
00:30:26Secret agreements made between special compartments within the armed forces and high-tech defense contractors in the private sector.
00:30:38This would allow all military and national security measures to be handled with a need-to-know classification, thus giving
00:30:47access to only those working directly on the project, and giving the president and his administration a plausible deniability.
00:31:00The mid-1950s saw a surge in the development of aircraft. Planes went faster, farther and higher than anything ever
00:31:09before created by man.
00:31:12But just how far and how high could we really go? Were we now, after centuries of looking to the
00:31:21cosmos with mystery and wonderment, finally ready to take the voyage ourselves in what is undeniably the final frontier?
00:31:33I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal before this decade is out of landing a
00:31:41man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth.
00:31:45When looking back at history with an open mind, it is easy to start connecting dots to the origins of
00:31:52the space race.
00:31:54In what would seem like a brief span of years between 1944 and 1956, the United States would find itself
00:32:03in the Second World War, the Atomic Age, the Jet Age, and even the Space Age.
00:32:17And it would be foolish not to think UFOs had anything to do with it.
00:32:22The sightings alone, whether true or conceived, were enough to inspire many to believe that something most definitely was out
00:32:32there.
00:32:33The rise of science fiction tales, movies, and the embracing of UFOs, aliens, and Martians by pop culture may have
00:32:42led, if not encouraged, many that if they can come here from other worlds, why can't we go to other
00:32:50worlds from here?
00:33:02The mindset in Washington and Moscow was a bit different.
00:33:07They now saw space as not just a new frontier, but a new battleground.
00:33:14And the lines in the sand were being drawn.
00:33:21Just after the Second World War, plans were underway for a spy satellite project, an idea that could take years
00:33:30to develop.
00:33:32But the concept of putting an object in space was not new.
00:33:35The US had experimented with rocket planes and supersonic aircraft since the mid-1940s.
00:33:43And before that, the Nazis were well underway of developing liquid-propelled engines that would be utilized in the creation
00:33:52of their V-2 rockets.
00:33:53A design that would eventually lay the groundwork for the American space program.
00:34:10But it would be the Soviets to succeed in launching Sputnik, the world's first orbital satellite.
00:34:17On October 4, 1957, fears began to grow at the thought of a possible Soviet threat lurking directly from above
00:34:26the United States.
00:34:28And nine months later, Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Act, establishing the country's first official space agency,
00:34:40NASA.
00:34:42Though NASA would see many failures as well as triumphs during its early years, the advancements made and achieved were
00:34:50astounding, especially when given the timeframe required and considering just how recent the concept of air travel itself was.
00:35:02The testing of new and advanced aircraft also helped in squelching many of the reports of UFOs that were still
00:35:10coming in.
00:35:11And while great measures were still taken to ensure the secrecy of extraterrestrials, the U.S. government and even the
00:35:21might of the military industrial complex were still no match for the surmounting number of sightings witnessed by civilians throughout
00:35:30the world.
00:35:36Sceptics argue that it would have been impossible for anyone to have kept a secret of such magnitude for so
00:35:43long.
00:35:51Yet there were many who, in fact, did come forward and shared vital information from pilots, doctors, military officers, and
00:36:06other highly credible civilians.
00:36:08In doing so, they found themselves subjected to the harshest consequences, job loss, divorce, ridicule, and character assassinations conjured by
00:36:21paid-off investigators and so-called journalists.
00:36:27Many were threatened, and many have died due to very unlikely causes.
00:36:36There is an overwhelming and disturbing list of UFO whistleblowers who have mysteriously died.
00:36:45From bizarre illnesses and fast-spreading cancers, to hit-and-run, drunk-driving and hunting accidents.
00:36:57There seems to be a lot of effort made to harass, threaten, and even assassinate key individuals who claim to
00:37:04have knowledge of something the government says does not exist.
00:37:13Those behind these heinous acts have yet to be held accountable.
00:37:19Perhaps in their defense, it was justified under the grounds of national security.
00:37:27And as Eisenhower sat before the cameras, giving his farewell address to the nation, warning of the growing power of
00:37:34the military-industrial complex,
00:37:36he may have left the presidency a bit encouraged that any needed and necessary change could and would be achieved
00:37:45by his successor.
00:38:15The
00:38:16The
00:38:16Lumen-Eisenhower
00:38:18years
00:38:19as the golden years
00:38:22of ufology.
00:38:24Simply,
00:38:25one main reason is
00:38:27there was no
00:38:30email, no internet
00:38:32and
00:38:33everything was documented
00:38:35on paper.
00:38:38Unfortunately,
00:38:40most of that stuff has remained
00:38:44classified.
00:38:45I spent a lot of time
00:38:46in
00:38:51Presidential Library
00:38:52archives
00:38:54and
00:38:56you get on the trail
00:38:58of something really good
00:38:59and you get to it
00:39:01and you pull out a sheet
00:39:02that it's been redacted
00:39:04especially in New Mexico
00:39:06because
00:39:07that was the hot spot.
00:39:10That's where they were
00:39:11launching B-2s
00:39:13and other rockets.
00:39:14they were setting off
00:39:16atomic explosions
00:39:18and the word was
00:39:21that I've read
00:39:22scientists from that time
00:39:24said
00:39:24the
00:39:26appearance of
00:39:28UFOs
00:39:29or flying saucers
00:39:30as they were called then
00:39:31became so common
00:39:34that they didn't even
00:39:35pay any attention
00:39:36to them anymore
00:39:37because they knew
00:39:37when they were going
00:39:38to have a test
00:39:40they were going
00:39:40to show up.
00:39:431947 forward
00:39:44I mean there's a lot
00:39:45happening
00:39:45and Chuck Yeager
00:39:46broke a sound barrier
00:39:47but the nuclear test
00:39:50in the New Mexico desert
00:39:53white sands
00:39:55and
00:39:55and of course
00:39:57Roswell happened
00:39:58I can be a skeptic
00:40:00about some things
00:40:01but I'm not a skeptic
00:40:02about Roswell at all
00:40:04I am convinced
00:40:07absolutely convinced
00:40:08that Roswell
00:40:09was an extraterrestrial event.
00:40:18Well that's hard to say
00:40:20obviously when
00:40:21General Beatle Smith
00:40:23became
00:40:24director of CIA
00:40:26he was
00:40:27very close to Eisenhower
00:40:29as you know
00:40:30and
00:40:33I would think
00:40:34that
00:40:35Eisenhower
00:40:36was
00:40:37got a
00:40:38very very good
00:40:39briefing
00:40:40at that time
00:40:42now whether he
00:40:42got
00:40:43he was briefed
00:40:44while he was
00:40:45supreme commander
00:40:47during the second
00:40:48world war
00:40:49who knows
00:40:50it's
00:40:51that's hard to say
00:40:52and
00:40:53Eisenhower
00:40:54was so
00:40:55touchy
00:40:56about intelligence
00:40:58he would fire
00:41:00a man
00:41:00no matter
00:41:01how close
00:41:02he may have been
00:41:04to him
00:41:04for breaking
00:41:05security
00:41:06so
00:41:07that's hard to say
00:41:08about Eisenhower
00:41:10but
00:41:10there's no doubt
00:41:12that
00:41:12that he was briefed
00:41:14and I would think
00:41:15that
00:41:16that what you said
00:41:17about Truman
00:41:18saying that they
00:41:19he wanted both
00:41:20candidates
00:41:21to be briefed
00:41:23is probably
00:41:24perhaps
00:41:25accurate
00:41:33as far as
00:41:35the documents
00:41:36there are a lot
00:41:37that I'm very
00:41:38skeptical of
00:41:39I do have
00:41:41a belief
00:41:42that
00:41:43the Eisenhower
00:41:45briefing document
00:41:46the
00:41:47Cutler Twining
00:41:48memo
00:41:49and the
00:41:51SOM
00:41:521-01
00:41:54I believe
00:41:56those
00:41:57three documents
00:41:58could very well
00:41:59be
00:42:00I would say
00:42:01probably be
00:42:02authentic
00:42:03SOM
00:42:04special operations
00:42:06manual
00:42:06is a manual
00:42:08eyes only
00:42:10top secret
00:42:11for members
00:42:12of Majestic 12
00:42:13and
00:42:14whomever
00:42:16they would
00:42:17bring into
00:42:18there
00:42:19obviously
00:42:20it couldn't be
00:42:21just Majestic 12
00:42:23people
00:42:23they would have
00:42:25to have
00:42:25other people
00:42:27brought into
00:42:28the loop of
00:42:29knowledge
00:42:29to do whatever
00:42:31they needed
00:42:32them to do
00:42:34they weren't
00:42:35they weren't
00:42:37workers
00:42:37and the field
00:42:38workers themselves
00:42:39so you had to
00:42:40have field workers
00:42:41but anyway
00:42:42this manual
00:42:43told
00:42:46in some depth
00:42:47what you do
00:42:49with
00:42:49when you discover
00:42:52a crash
00:42:53saucer
00:42:53how you
00:42:55recover
00:42:56it
00:42:56how you
00:42:56handle
00:42:57civilians
00:42:59that may
00:42:59have seen
00:43:00it
00:43:02how it's
00:43:03supposed to
00:43:04be
00:43:04taken from
00:43:06the site
00:43:06if there
00:43:07are
00:43:09beings
00:43:10how they
00:43:12should be
00:43:12handled
00:43:14anyway
00:43:15it's
00:43:15it seems
00:43:16to me
00:43:17it's
00:43:18about
00:43:19it was
00:43:20about
00:43:2038 pages
00:43:22and it
00:43:22went into
00:43:22some
00:43:23depth
00:43:23even
00:43:24describing
00:43:25the type
00:43:26of craft
00:43:26they may
00:43:27encounter
00:43:30the last
00:43:32document
00:43:32was the
00:43:33Eisenhower
00:43:34briefing document
00:43:35given to
00:43:35Eisenhower
00:43:36by the
00:43:37CIA
00:43:37and gave
00:43:38him a
00:43:39brief overview
00:43:40of the
00:43:40whole
00:43:41flying saucer
00:43:42UFO
00:43:42issue
00:43:43so I
00:43:45think
00:43:45those
00:43:46documents
00:43:46have a
00:43:47good chance
00:43:47of being
00:43:48accurate
00:43:49I guess
00:43:49I'll say
00:43:50I have
00:43:50faith in
00:43:51those three
00:43:51documents
00:43:58Albert
00:43:59Chop
00:43:59was in
00:44:00the
00:44:00tower
00:44:00and he
00:44:01witnessed
00:44:01these
00:44:02happenings
00:44:02now the
00:44:03first
00:44:03weekend
00:44:04when
00:44:04interceptors
00:44:05jet
00:44:06interceptors
00:44:07were called
00:44:07in
00:44:08they were
00:44:08called in
00:44:09from
00:44:09somewhere
00:44:09in New
00:44:10Jersey
00:44:10the
00:44:11blips
00:44:12the
00:44:12targets
00:44:13took
00:44:15off
00:44:15vanished
00:44:16when the
00:44:17jets
00:44:17left
00:44:18they came
00:44:18back
00:44:19on the
00:44:20second
00:44:20week
00:44:21the blips
00:44:22appeared
00:44:23again
00:44:23again
00:44:24jets
00:44:25were called
00:44:25in
00:44:26when they
00:44:27got there
00:44:28the blips
00:44:29the saucers
00:44:30what have
00:44:30you
00:44:31didn't
00:44:32leave
00:44:32and one
00:44:33jet
00:44:34became
00:44:35surrounded
00:44:36closed in
00:44:38by a number
00:44:38of these
00:44:39objects
00:44:39surrounding
00:44:40the craft
00:44:41and he
00:44:43really
00:44:43the pilot
00:44:44really became
00:44:46panicked
00:44:46he was
00:44:47asking
00:44:48what am I
00:44:49supposed to
00:44:50do
00:44:50what am I
00:44:50in other
00:44:51words
00:44:51am I
00:44:52supposed to
00:44:52shoot at
00:44:53him
00:44:53he was
00:44:53scared to
00:44:54death
00:44:54because
00:44:54I'm sure
00:44:55that he
00:44:55knew that
00:44:56if he did
00:44:57something
00:44:58offensive
00:44:59against him
00:45:00he'd probably
00:45:00be vaporized
00:45:02flap over
00:45:03that
00:45:04obviously
00:45:05got to
00:45:06President Truman
00:45:08he wanted
00:45:09answers
00:45:09and
00:45:10from
00:45:11his
00:45:13insistence
00:45:14on
00:45:14answers
00:45:15of some
00:45:16sort
00:45:16which
00:45:17really nobody
00:45:18could give
00:45:19the Robertson
00:45:20panel
00:45:20came out
00:45:21of that
00:45:22after a
00:45:23major news
00:45:24conference
00:45:25headed up
00:45:26by General
00:45:27Sanford
00:45:27and General
00:45:29Roger Ramey
00:45:30who was now
00:45:32a four-star
00:45:32general
00:45:32they made
00:45:34some admission
00:45:35that there
00:45:36were some
00:45:37very strange
00:45:37happenings
00:45:38that people
00:45:39were seeing
00:45:39but that they
00:45:40were probably
00:45:41caused by
00:45:42temperature
00:45:42inversions
00:45:43this angered
00:45:45the controllers
00:45:46at Washington
00:45:48National
00:45:48and at
00:45:49Andrews Air Force
00:45:50Space
00:45:50who was also
00:45:51picking them up
00:45:52on radar
00:45:53they were
00:45:53incensed
00:45:55that
00:45:57people
00:45:58were being
00:45:59told
00:46:00that as
00:46:00experienced
00:46:01radar operators
00:46:03they couldn't
00:46:03tell a weather
00:46:04condition
00:46:05from a hard
00:46:06target
00:46:101953
00:46:11January
00:46:131953
00:46:16H.P.
00:46:17Robertson
00:46:17was headed
00:46:18that committee
00:46:19and they
00:46:20listened
00:46:21I think
00:46:22they had
00:46:23four
00:46:24day sessions
00:46:25made up
00:46:26of a morning
00:46:27session
00:46:27and an evening
00:46:28session
00:46:29over four
00:46:30days
00:46:31they heard
00:46:33from
00:46:33a representative
00:46:35from the
00:46:35photo interpretation
00:46:37library
00:46:38who had been
00:46:39looking at
00:46:40films
00:46:41taken in
00:46:42Sremontan
00:46:43Utah
00:46:44by
00:46:44warrant
00:46:46officers
00:46:46and
00:46:47they studied
00:46:48them
00:46:49for about
00:46:49a thousand
00:46:50hours
00:46:50this was
00:46:51a group
00:46:52that was
00:46:53headed by
00:46:53the brilliant
00:46:54Arthur Lundahl
00:46:57brilliant photo
00:46:58interpretation
00:46:59expert
00:47:00he was the
00:47:00one that
00:47:01was the
00:47:03major player
00:47:03in the
00:47:05Cuban
00:47:06missile crisis
00:47:07interpreting
00:47:08those
00:47:08photographs
00:47:10his people
00:47:11went before
00:47:12the panel
00:47:13and said
00:47:15that what
00:47:16was on
00:47:16that film
00:47:18they were
00:47:19not birds
00:47:20they were
00:47:20not balloons
00:47:21they were
00:47:21not airplanes
00:47:22they were
00:47:24objects that
00:47:25were obviously
00:47:26self-luminous
00:47:27the panel
00:47:28decided
00:47:29in their
00:47:29final report
00:47:30which was
00:47:31called
00:47:31the Durant
00:47:32report
00:47:33that they
00:47:34appreciated
00:47:35the hard
00:47:36work
00:47:37that the
00:47:37photo
00:47:37interpretation
00:47:38people
00:47:38put into
00:47:39it
00:47:39but
00:47:39obviously
00:47:40what
00:47:41was on
00:47:42the film
00:47:42was birds
00:47:43now here
00:47:44you had
00:47:44experts
00:47:45in
00:47:47photography
00:47:48and
00:47:50here you
00:47:51got
00:47:51people
00:47:53that may
00:47:53be
00:47:53PhDs
00:47:54but
00:47:55they're
00:47:55not
00:47:55photo
00:47:55experts
00:47:57disagreeing
00:47:58with them
00:47:58and saying
00:47:58they're
00:47:59birds
00:47:59this has
00:48:00gone on
00:48:01I mean
00:48:02the history
00:48:02of
00:48:03the whole
00:48:04UFO story
00:48:05is one
00:48:08cover up
00:48:09after cover
00:48:10on
00:48:10I mean
00:48:11we've got
00:48:13so many
00:48:13stories
00:48:14we could
00:48:14talk about
00:48:16in that
00:48:16that vein
00:48:22Project
00:48:23Blue Book
00:48:24Special Report
00:48:2514
00:48:26you know
00:48:27that's a
00:48:27story in
00:48:27itself
00:48:28and the
00:48:29Air Force
00:48:29just flat
00:48:30out lied
00:48:31that was
00:48:32done
00:48:33it wasn't
00:48:34publicized
00:48:35it wasn't
00:48:36done by the

00:48:37it was done

00:48:39in Ohio
00:48:40a very
00:48:41well respected
00:48:43think tank
00:48:43which
00:48:44was reviewed
00:48:46thirty two
00:48:47hundred and
00:48:48one
00:48:48cases
00:48:50and took
00:48:51them two
00:48:52years
00:48:52and they
00:48:54came out
00:48:54with a
00:48:54report
00:48:55the
00:48:56then
00:48:57Secretary
00:48:57of the
00:48:58Air Force
00:48:58Donald
00:48:59Quails
00:49:00called a
00:49:01news
00:49:01conference
00:49:02and he
00:49:03told all
00:49:03the reporters
00:49:04reporters
00:49:04there that
00:49:05their
00:49:06special
00:49:07report
00:49:0714
00:49:08had come
00:49:09out
00:49:09and what
00:49:10it said
00:49:11was
00:49:11in essence
00:49:13it said
00:49:13a lot
00:49:13of things
00:49:14many many
00:49:15pages long
00:49:16and it's
00:49:17available now
00:49:18online
00:49:19anybody that
00:49:19wants to
00:49:20look it up
00:49:21can get it
00:49:22online
00:49:22read the
00:49:23whole thing
00:49:23it's full of
00:49:24graphs and
00:49:24charts and
00:49:25what have you
00:49:26but the
00:49:27nuts and
00:49:28bolts are
00:49:29that
00:49:31Donald Quails
00:49:32Secretary of the Air Force
00:49:34told the
00:49:35reporters
00:49:37that he
00:49:37couldn't give
00:49:38them copies
00:49:39of the report
00:49:40because it
00:49:41was
00:49:41the Air Force
00:49:42just couldn't
00:49:43afford to
00:49:44print it
00:49:44that was
00:49:45probably true
00:49:46because I
00:49:47think the
00:49:47report was
00:49:48about a
00:49:48thousand pages
00:49:49but he
00:49:50told them
00:49:51what the
00:49:51report said
00:49:52and in
00:49:52essence
00:49:53it said
00:49:54out of
00:49:55the
00:49:553,201
00:49:56cases
00:49:57only
00:49:583%
00:49:59could not
00:50:00be
00:50:01identified
00:50:02and of
00:50:03those 3%
00:50:04it was
00:50:06they were
00:50:07had the
00:50:08worst
00:50:09witnesses
00:50:10and the
00:50:12least amount
00:50:13of backup
00:50:15so
00:50:16in essence
00:50:17he was
00:50:17saying
00:50:18there's
00:50:18nothing
00:50:19to this
00:50:20in fact
00:50:21what the
00:50:22report says
00:50:23that there
00:50:24were 21.5%
00:50:26that were
00:50:27unidentified
00:50:28and of
00:50:30that 21.5%
00:50:31they were
00:50:32made up
00:50:33by the
00:50:34most reliable
00:50:35witnesses
00:50:36and the
00:50:37greatest
00:50:37amount
00:50:37of detail
00:50:39that's
00:50:40why I
00:50:41say
00:50:41in a
00:50:42very
00:50:43short
00:50:44few words
00:50:46the Air
00:50:46Force
00:50:47just
00:50:47told
00:50:48a
00:50:49flat out
00:50:50lie
00:50:55the problem
00:50:56I have
00:50:56with that
00:50:57story is
00:50:57he was
00:50:58seen up
00:50:59until 8pm
00:51:00when he
00:51:00had dinner
00:51:01and a
00:51:01supposed
00:51:03chip the
00:51:03tooth
00:51:04eating a
00:51:04piece of
00:51:05chicken
00:51:05there's
00:51:06some
00:51:07people
00:51:07that say
00:51:08and this
00:51:08story has
00:51:09been around
00:51:09a long
00:51:10time
00:51:10that he
00:51:12was taken
00:51:13to what
00:51:14was then
00:51:15Murrah
00:51:15later
00:51:16Edwards
00:51:18and
00:51:18had a
00:51:20meeting
00:51:20with
00:51:21extraterrestrials
00:51:24my problem
00:51:25with that
00:51:25very simply
00:51:26is
00:51:27I find
00:51:28it a
00:51:28little hard
00:51:29to believe
00:51:30that
00:51:31first of
00:51:32all he
00:51:32he wasn't
00:51:33seen from
00:51:348 o'clock
00:51:34that night
00:51:35until he
00:51:35went to
00:51:36church
00:51:36the next
00:51:37morning
00:51:37Sunday
00:51:38morning
00:51:39well I
00:51:40don't find
00:51:41it hard
00:51:41to believe
00:51:42at all
00:51:43that the
00:51:44president
00:51:44is in the
00:51:45public view
00:51:46all the
00:51:47time
00:51:48all night
00:51:49long
00:51:49I don't
00:51:50see anything
00:51:51unusual about
00:51:53him having to
00:51:55go out
00:51:55somewhere
00:51:55if he did
00:51:56in fact
00:51:57chip a
00:51:58tooth
00:52:00I find
00:52:01it more
00:52:03non-plausible
00:52:05that he
00:52:07slipped away
00:52:08flew
00:52:09or
00:52:10was driven
00:52:12to
00:52:13Murad
00:52:14which
00:52:14really
00:52:15isn't
00:52:15that far
00:52:16from
00:52:16Palm Springs
00:52:17probably
00:52:17two hour
00:52:18drive
00:52:18had a
00:52:19meeting
00:52:20with
00:52:20extraterrestrials
00:52:22then came
00:52:23back
00:52:24and went
00:52:25to church
00:52:26that
00:52:26it's just
00:52:27the time
00:52:28doesn't work
00:52:29for me
00:52:29and the
00:52:30subject matter
00:52:30doesn't work
00:52:31for me
00:52:35now I
00:52:36think that's
00:52:37much more
00:52:37believable
00:52:38you've got
00:52:40several
00:52:40witnesses
00:52:42reliable
00:52:43witnesses
00:52:44that say
00:52:46that Eisenhower
00:52:48flew there
00:52:49in his
00:52:49super
00:52:50caddy
00:52:51the plane
00:52:52shut down
00:52:53at the end
00:52:53of the main
00:52:54runway
00:52:54which is
00:52:55very odd
00:52:57in itself
00:52:57and there
00:52:58was a
00:52:58disc
00:52:59there
00:53:00a UFO
00:53:01or a
00:53:02flying saucer
00:53:03Eisenhower
00:53:04got out of
00:53:05the plane
00:53:06walked across
00:53:07the runway
00:53:09and got in
00:53:10the saucer
00:53:11well
00:53:12there again
00:53:13that's
00:53:14stretching
00:53:16believability
00:53:17to me
00:53:17because I
00:53:18don't think
00:53:18that the
00:53:19secret service
00:53:20would allow
00:53:20the president
00:53:21of the United
00:53:21States
00:53:22to get
00:53:22out and walk
00:53:22across
00:53:23and get
00:53:23into a
00:53:24strange
00:53:25spacecraft
00:53:25that they
00:53:26could snap
00:53:26the door
00:53:27shut
00:53:27and take
00:53:27off to
00:53:30goodness knows
00:53:30where
00:53:31so
00:53:32but
00:53:33I do
00:53:34think
00:53:34that Eisenhower
00:53:36was there
00:53:37and I do
00:53:38think
00:53:39that
00:53:39the people
00:53:41there were
00:53:43a number
00:53:45of people
00:53:47a fellow
00:53:48named Kirkland
00:53:50who worked
00:53:51there
00:53:53that saw
00:53:55or had
00:53:55people
00:53:56tell him
00:53:57about a
00:53:58disc
00:53:58that was
00:54:00there at
00:54:00Edwards
00:54:01that was
00:54:01in the air
00:54:02flying
00:54:03there at
00:54:04Edwards
00:54:05another
00:54:06fellow
00:54:08that was
00:54:09an electrician
00:54:10worked on
00:54:10the line
00:54:13has a
00:54:13recording
00:54:14that I
00:54:14have
00:54:16that he
00:54:17tells the
00:54:17story of
00:54:18he was
00:54:19up a pole
00:54:20stringing
00:54:21wire
00:54:22along the
00:54:23flight line
00:54:25and he
00:54:26saw the
00:54:27president's
00:54:27plane land
00:54:28he couldn't
00:54:29see what it
00:54:30did but
00:54:30he did
00:54:31see
00:54:33a
00:54:33strange
00:54:35saucer
00:54:36shaped
00:54:36object
00:54:37that was
00:54:38hovering in
00:54:38the air
00:54:39to the point
00:54:40that it
00:54:41frightened him
00:54:42so bad
00:54:42that he
00:54:43cut out
00:54:43he was up
00:54:44a pole
00:54:44with climbers
00:54:45on
00:54:46he cut out
00:54:47and came
00:54:47down the
00:54:48pole
00:54:49and the
00:54:50guys laughed
00:54:51at him
00:54:51and said
00:54:51you came
00:54:52down that
00:54:53pole
00:54:53faster than
00:54:54the fireman
00:54:55so it
00:54:55became the
00:54:56fireman's
00:54:57story
00:54:58in his
00:54:59family
00:55:00anyway
00:55:00so I
00:55:01think
00:55:02that
00:55:03I
00:55:04think
00:55:04that
00:55:04that
00:55:05probably
00:55:06has
00:55:06areas
00:55:07of
00:55:07truth
00:55:07in
00:55:08it
00:55:13it's
00:55:14a secure
00:55:15base
00:55:15obviously
00:55:16I mean
00:55:17a jackrabbit
00:55:18doesn't cross
00:55:19the perimeter
00:55:20without the
00:55:21people there
00:55:22knowing about
00:55:22it
00:55:23so
00:55:23anybody
00:55:24people are
00:55:25not just
00:55:26not gonna get
00:55:27in that base
00:55:27I mean
00:55:28the stories
00:55:29about
00:55:29what happens
00:55:30to you
00:55:31if you even
00:55:31go
00:55:32near the
00:55:33boundary
00:55:34of public
00:55:35land
00:55:36to government
00:55:36land
00:55:37if you get
00:55:38too close
00:55:39they'll
00:55:39come out
00:55:41and shoo you
00:55:42away
00:55:42and they do
00:55:44say that
00:55:44they'll use
00:55:45deadly force
00:55:46that's what
00:55:46the signs
00:55:47say
00:55:47it would
00:55:48certainly
00:55:48be
00:55:49a very
00:55:51good place
00:55:52to take
00:55:54UFOs
00:55:55and to
00:55:56test
00:55:57them
00:55:58I don't
00:55:59know
00:56:01there's another
00:56:04place that
00:56:05I favor
00:56:06a little
00:56:07more
00:56:08than
00:56:09Area 51
00:56:10and that's
00:56:11Dugway
00:56:12Proving
00:56:13Grounds
00:56:13Dugway
00:56:15is
00:56:15800
00:56:17probably
00:56:17now
00:56:18it's
00:56:18probably
00:56:191000
00:56:20acres
00:56:20of
00:56:23well
00:56:24guarded
00:56:24land
00:56:25as well
00:56:25as Area 51
00:56:27may be
00:56:27better
00:56:28so that's
00:56:29another
00:56:30likely place
00:56:31and it
00:56:31could very
00:56:32well be
00:56:32and
00:56:33you know
00:56:35we're all
00:56:36dealing in
00:56:37an area
00:56:38where
00:56:38there's a
00:56:40great deal
00:56:40of speculation
00:56:41because we
00:56:42don't have
00:56:42many facts
00:56:43so you
00:56:45have to
00:56:45speculate
00:56:46but
00:56:48Dugway
00:56:49is secure
00:56:51it's
00:56:52it could
00:56:53very well
00:56:54be that
00:56:55Area 51
00:56:56is being
00:56:57used by
00:56:57the government
00:56:58as a
00:57:00decor
00:57:00making
00:57:01everybody
00:57:02interested
00:57:03in that
00:57:03and really
00:57:04have
00:57:05the
00:57:08captured
00:57:09debris
00:57:09debris
00:57:10or crafts
00:57:11if you
00:57:11will
00:57:12in another
00:57:13location
00:57:14so I mean
00:57:15that would
00:57:15make sense
00:57:16the government
00:57:16is very good
00:57:17at disinformation
00:57:24Eisenhower
00:57:24was being
00:57:26prodded
00:57:27by his
00:57:29military
00:57:29people
00:57:31to go
00:57:32ahead
00:57:33and put
00:57:34up a
00:57:35satellite
00:57:37they were
00:57:38telling him
00:57:39we've got
00:57:40the capability
00:57:41to do it
00:57:42our rockets
00:57:43are not as
00:57:44reliable
00:57:44as we'd like
00:57:45to be
00:57:45we may
00:57:47may have
00:57:48some failures
00:57:49but we can
00:57:50still get a
00:57:51satellite up
00:57:52there
00:57:52and Eisenhower
00:57:55said no
00:57:55I'm not going
00:57:56to let you
00:57:56do it
00:57:57because
00:57:57he had
00:57:58had problems
00:57:59with Khrushchev
00:58:01and he said
00:58:03Khrushchev
00:58:04would say
00:58:05right away
00:58:05that we were
00:58:06putting up
00:58:07a spy satellite
00:58:08which is
00:58:09exactly what
00:58:09it would have
00:58:10been
00:58:12so
00:58:12Eisenhower
00:58:13will not
00:58:14let them
00:58:15move forward
00:58:17well
00:58:17the Russians
00:58:18put up
00:58:19that satellite
00:58:19Sputnik
00:58:20which all
00:58:21it did
00:58:21was fly
00:58:22around
00:58:22and beep
00:58:24as far
00:58:25as we
00:58:25know
00:58:27I don't
00:58:28think they
00:58:28had the
00:58:28technology
00:58:29to do
00:58:30to have
00:58:31make a
00:58:31satellite
00:58:32a spy satellite
00:58:32like we
00:58:33did
00:58:34even then
00:58:35in those
00:58:35times
00:58:37but
00:58:37when they
00:58:38put Sputnik
00:58:39up
00:58:41everybody
00:58:42was saying
00:58:42oh woe is
00:58:43me
00:58:43woe is
00:58:44me
00:58:44the Russians
00:58:46are ahead
00:58:46of us
00:58:48Eisenhower
00:58:48was delighted
00:58:49secretly
00:58:50delighted
00:58:50because now
00:58:52we could go
00:58:52ahead and put
00:58:53our satellite
00:58:54up
00:58:54a spy satellite
00:58:55and we could
00:58:56start doing
00:58:57that
00:58:57the Russians
00:58:58had opened
00:58:59the door
00:58:59for us
00:58:59to do it
00:59:00and Eisenhower
00:59:00was happy
00:59:01he didn't
00:59:02show that
00:59:02he was happy
00:59:03but he
00:59:03secretly
00:59:03was delighted
00:59:09the Brookings
00:59:11report
00:59:11if I
00:59:11remember
00:59:12correctly
00:59:12is
00:59:13was
00:59:15ordered
00:59:19I can't
00:59:21remember
00:59:221960
00:59:23right now
00:59:24yeah
00:59:25was it
00:59:26ordered
00:59:26by
00:59:26I guess
00:59:28just the
00:59:29military
00:59:29ordered
00:59:30I don't
00:59:30know
00:59:31but the
00:59:33bottom line
00:59:34is
00:59:35as far
00:59:36as I
00:59:36know
00:59:36the bottom
00:59:37line
00:59:37of it
00:59:38is
00:59:38and
00:59:39says
00:59:40that
00:59:43if
00:59:46extraterrestrial
00:59:47life
00:59:48was
00:59:49discovered
00:59:50and
00:59:52given to
00:59:53the public
00:59:53there
00:59:54would be
00:59:58mass
00:59:59turmoil
01:00:00religion
01:00:01would be
01:00:02attacked
01:00:04all
01:00:05sorts
01:00:06of
01:00:06bad
01:00:07social
01:00:08happenings
01:00:09would occur
01:00:11as I
01:00:11recall
01:00:12that
01:00:12was
01:00:12the
01:00:13meat
01:00:14of
01:00:14the
01:00:14Brookings
01:00:15report
01:00:16is that
01:00:16right
01:00:17pretty
01:00:18much
01:00:18yeah
01:00:18things
01:00:19could
01:00:19get
01:00:19as
01:00:19bad
01:00:19as
01:00:192020
01:00:20back
01:00:20then
01:00:21I
01:00:21guess
01:00:21that
01:00:22was
01:00:22their
01:00:23biggest
01:00:23fear
01:00:25yeah
01:00:28I don't
01:00:29know
01:00:29personally
01:00:30my view
01:00:31of it
01:00:31is
01:00:33if
01:00:35disclosure
01:00:36of some
01:00:37type
01:00:38was
01:00:38made
01:00:41soon
01:00:42I think
01:00:43people
01:00:43would say
01:00:44gee
01:00:45that's
01:00:46interesting
01:00:46and then
01:00:48go on
01:00:48about
01:00:48their
01:00:48business
01:00:49I don't
01:00:50think
01:00:50it would
01:00:52harm
01:00:52religion
01:00:53at all
01:00:57and I've
01:00:58blown hot
01:00:58and cold
01:00:59on what I
01:01:00think the
01:01:00government
01:01:01knows
01:01:01and what
01:01:01it doesn't
01:01:02know
01:01:04I still
01:01:06believe
01:01:06that
01:01:07some
01:01:08part
01:01:10deep
01:01:11within
01:01:11our
01:01:11government
01:01:12majestic
01:01:1312
01:01:14type
01:01:15of it
01:01:16if you
01:01:16will
01:01:17exists
01:01:18they are
01:01:19the ones
01:01:20that have
01:01:21the debris
01:01:22from crashed
01:01:25extraterrestrial
01:01:26vehicles
01:01:27they are the
01:01:28ones that
01:01:28control that
01:01:29and no matter
01:01:30how many stars
01:01:31you have
01:01:32or the fact
01:01:33that you're
01:01:34president of the
01:01:34United States
01:01:35you don't have
01:01:36a need to know
01:01:37if you don't
01:01:38have a need to
01:01:38know
01:01:38you don't know
01:01:44Truman knew
01:01:45everything
01:01:46it was
01:01:47Truman's
01:01:49intent
01:01:50to have
01:01:51everything
01:01:53pertaining
01:01:53to this
01:01:54subject
01:01:54the subject
01:01:55of flying
01:01:56saucers
01:01:57which is
01:01:58what they
01:01:58were called
01:01:59in
01:01:59to come
01:02:00directly
01:02:01through the
01:02:01office
01:02:02and be
01:02:02controlled
01:02:03by the
01:02:03office
01:02:03of the
01:02:04president
01:02:04that's
01:02:05why
01:02:06I believe
01:02:06he set
01:02:07up
01:02:07majestic
01:02:0812
01:02:08I think
01:02:10Eisenhower
01:02:11was going
01:02:19JFK
01:02:20wanted
01:02:20to know
01:02:21we know
01:02:23that he
01:02:24contacted
01:02:25both the
01:02:26CIA
01:02:27and
01:02:28NASA
01:02:30for
01:02:31he wanted
01:02:32all of our
01:02:33files
01:02:33on the
01:02:34UFO
01:02:34subject
01:02:35to be
01:02:36turned over
01:02:37to the
01:02:37Soviets
01:02:37and have
01:02:39the Soviets
01:02:39turn over
01:02:41to us
01:02:42what they
01:02:43had
01:02:43the reason
01:02:44being
01:02:44his logic
01:02:45there was
01:02:46we don't
01:02:48want
01:02:48they had
01:02:49some bad
01:02:50experiences
01:02:51of seeing
01:02:52objects
01:02:53on radar
01:02:54flying at
01:02:56very very
01:02:57high speed
01:02:58speeds
01:03:00and
01:03:01and
01:03:02I think
01:03:03we went
01:03:03on alert
01:03:04one time
01:03:04because of
01:03:05these
01:03:06objects
01:03:06and the
01:03:06Soviets
01:03:07may have
01:03:07also
01:03:08and that
01:03:09worried
01:03:10Kennedy
01:03:10a great
01:03:11deal
01:03:11that's why
01:03:12he wanted
01:03:13to share
01:03:13information
01:03:15with the
01:03:15Soviets
01:03:16and have
01:03:16them share
01:03:17with us
01:03:17so that
01:03:18a
01:03:20mistake
01:03:21a nuclear
01:03:22conflict
01:03:23mistake
01:03:24could be
01:03:25avoided
01:03:27some people
01:03:28say that's
01:03:28why he was
01:03:28killed
01:03:32well Hoover
01:03:33complained about
01:03:35the Air Force
01:03:36or the Navy
01:03:37grabbed it
01:03:38before we could
01:03:39even have a look
01:03:40at
01:03:41something to that
01:03:42effect
01:03:43that's a paraphrase
01:03:44but yeah
01:03:46he was
01:03:47Hoover was
01:03:48upset about
01:03:49it because
01:03:50I think
01:03:51the FBI
01:03:51was
01:03:52in
01:03:55in most
01:03:56cases
01:03:56being kept
01:03:57under the
01:03:58loop
01:04:01the
01:04:03cooperation
01:04:03between
01:04:06the Air Force
01:04:07and
01:04:09the CIA
01:04:12I think
01:04:13that has
01:04:14been
01:04:14could be
01:04:15became rocky
01:04:17at various
01:04:17times
01:04:20the Navy
01:04:21as we talked
01:04:22about earlier
01:04:23they just
01:04:24stayed out
01:04:25of the
01:04:25frakes
01:04:27the Office
01:04:27of Naval
01:04:28Intelligence
01:04:29is extremely
01:04:30good
01:04:31and
01:04:33so
01:04:34they
01:04:35the way
01:04:36I view
01:04:36them
01:04:37they just
01:04:37put themselves
01:04:38above the
01:04:38whole
01:04:40the whole
01:04:41frakes
01:04:42going on
01:04:43as
01:04:43there
01:04:44are
01:04:56the
01:04:57them
01:05:10have
01:05:10just
01:05:10our
01:05:10focus
01:05:10is
01:05:11we
01:05:11would
01:05:11frankly
01:05:11we
01:05:11are
