00:00The front, while we're driving, cooks this whole inside.
00:02I think this is Colton's stuff, so he's the youngest, so he's got his Oreos and his chips.
00:08It's the biggest gas chassis that I could find without going to the 550 chassis.
00:43Hello, how you doing?
00:45Come on in.
00:46What's up?
00:47This is Camden from Seven Kingdoms and also the brand new company called Knight Rider USA.
00:52We're on tour here in Chicago today with Seven Kingdoms, Insafaram, and Blind Guardian, of
00:58course, at the beautiful Vic Theatre, and we're going to show you around our brand new proof
01:03of concept rig that will be starting to be leased next year.
01:07So check it out.
01:09We've got a lounge back here.
01:11We're in a 2026 E450 cutaway chassis that we've had converted.
01:17Everything's been really nice and insulated.
01:19So we've got a 42-inch TV, we've got a really nice lounge space over here that's towards
01:25the back.
01:26And then, yeah, we've got actually, this is our fridge, so it's a big dual-zone cooler.
01:33So we've got like, it can freeze or do fridge stuff.
01:36So as you can see, it's packed.
01:37So basically we keep everything in here, like leftover rider stuff or stuff we need to frigerate,
01:42anything that's frigerated, frigeratable or freezer, freezerable.
01:46We actually haven't, I can adjust this to make one a freezer or one fridge, but we haven't
01:52frozen anything or just stick it outside, really.
01:55Right now, but yeah, a simple, a simple little rack that works, you know, just to hang all
02:00of the jackets and stuff.
02:02We have a microwave that we haven't even touched.
02:04We've used the coffee maker a couple times, big TV.
02:08This is our storage area.
02:10We've literally got just some Velcro that keeps everything from sliding and it works.
02:15So, yeah, that's, it's really simple what we've done, but it's functional.
02:19It's made specifically for bands, made specifically for my band, and if it works for me, it'll
02:24likely work for you.
02:25So we've got a bunch of drinks down here, but most of it's stuff from like Walmart.
02:30I mean, we usually, we are, we're opening, so our rider's not super big.
02:33So we usually drink everything and eat everything if we even get stuff to eat and snacks.
02:39So a lot of this is like stock from like Walmart and stuff and people want to get their
02:42on stuff that we keep in here.
02:44So actually here, we've got these, these are where we keep our shoes and they'll actually
02:48stack and then fit under here.
02:50I've got a battery backup right here that we run a small heater on.
02:54This kind of cooks the inside.
02:55We have a big heater up here, but it just draws a lot of battery.
02:59So we have this to use warm and then when we're driving, we'll, the front cook kind of
03:06really cooks everything.
03:07So as far as energy, we are generator-less.
03:11I did not want to have, um, a second combustion motor drawing gas while the other one was
03:18there.
03:19So we designed it with, uh, I think 15 kilowatt hours or 15,000 Watts of battery backup.
03:26It's like a $15,000 worth of battery.
03:28Um, underneath that seat, there's five 300 amp mega amp or whatever it is, lithium batteries.
03:34And then we have a 3000 watt inverter.
03:36That is charged by a secondary alternator that we installed on the motor that is just dedicated
03:43to do that.
03:44So it doesn't touch the original Ford alternator, which handles the car.
03:47There's a second one that turns, uh, to charge the batteries.
03:51And this, like I said, this, uh, this is designed to drive four to eight hours every day.
03:55And that's how we recharge because I'm already burning gas, you might, and it's already turning
04:00a flywheel.
04:02So we might as well just turn a second alternator.
04:04That's why I didn't want to do the generator.
04:05Cause it's just going to make our fuel economy go even further down.
04:08Um, but like I said, it's an E450, uh, it's a 7.3 liter Godzilla Ford motor gas.
04:14I didn't go diesel because if I go diesel, I'm going to build a larger thing and go make
04:19a larger unit and deal with all the craziness that is diesel and maintenance with that.
04:23So we're a regular, it's the biggest gas chassis that I could find, um, without going to the
04:28550 chassis.
04:30But, uh, basically, uh, yeah, so we got AC, the AC cooks and the heat cooks, but, uh,
04:36the heat draws a little bit more.
04:38So I just, for my own sake and efficiency, we have a little heater.
04:41So basically with the, uh, from what I'm told, uh, this vehicle is going to be starting to
04:46get leased next year to anyone that contacts me, uh, because we're a small company right
04:52now, we're just starting.
04:53I don't have my own independent insurance.
04:55So we're using, uh, a third party to cover us.
04:59Um, so essentially what they've told me is there needs to be physically enough seatbelts
05:03for, uh, how many bunks there are.
05:05So essentially we have two seatbelts in the driver cab, which is closed.
05:08And then we have five pairs of seatbelts back here.
05:11So essentially it's designed for seven.
05:13From what I'm told, everything is about intent.
05:16So the intent is for everybody to have a seatbelt.
05:20We have some cabinet space stored up here.
05:22It's just miscellaneous stuff.
05:23We got our snacks, uh, random stuff.
05:26We got some Oreo.
05:27I think this is Colton's stuff.
05:29So he's the youngest.
05:30So he's got, you know, his Oreos and his chips.
05:33We got some healthier stuff.
05:34You know, some rice cakes, the peanut butter is just anyone's, uh, you know, wants to get
05:39full quick, some popcorn.
05:42We usually go out, we usually get like a buyout.
05:44So like, this is really just sort of like midnight or if they're just trying to get hungry.
05:47I'm not even really sure what all the hell this is.
05:50Um, gotta have dude wipes.
05:54Um, so yeah.
05:55And then I think this corner we have a bunch of, uh, like plates.
06:02It just so happens we have a, uh, Charizard EX box.
06:09It's one of those Pokemon trading card collectors.
06:11But yeah, just some plates and some random stuff.
06:14It used to be prettier, but you know, halfway through the tour, you start throwing stuff
06:17everywhere.
06:18But yeah, sound bar, got a coffee maker.
06:22Um, I'm not sure if the coffee, this is my coffee maker.
06:24It might not come when it gets leased because it's mine.
06:29The microwave will come with it.
06:31Got stuff we haven't even touched this entire tour.
06:34This is, uh, the remote for the AC unit.
06:37So it'll do heat or, uh, AC, um, regarding the heat, I'm actually going to, it's, it's,
06:43it's the first tour that we've had it, um, and we're touring in the really, really
06:46cold areas.
06:48Um, everything works fine, but I just, it's the first one and my band also needs it.
06:53So for the first couple of years that we're in business, we probably won't be available
06:57if your tour is in the, like the extreme winter, just for safety sake.
07:01And your boys got to use the rig too.
07:03So I don't want anybody like crushing my rig.
07:06Um, but this is actually a, our max air fan.
07:10So like on the days, like when we were in Florida and North Carolina and such, and it was
07:15like 70 degrees out, we just turn this off.
07:18And we suck air in from the outside and like, it's super efficient.
07:23We don't run out of power.
07:24I mean, not like we're running out of power anyways, we have a huge battery backup, but
07:27it's just about efficiency.
07:28Really?
07:29This is our touch screen.
07:31So you can see how much, uh, we're, we're doing, I actually have 1200 Watts of a solar
07:36on the top of this.
07:38So it slows down the draw.
07:40I mean, it doesn't, uh, it doesn't, we'll get 1200 Watts of solar.
07:44You'll get somewhere between 700 and 900 Watts on a perfect sunny day, maybe a thousand if
07:49you're really lucky.
07:50Um, but regardless, we have the solar on the top and then that slows down the draw, but
07:55essentially here when you're hooked up to grid.
07:57So we have shore power availability, it'll show it charging here.
08:00And these are our batteries.
08:01This DC power is going to turn on, uh, when we start running the, uh, the motor and you'll
08:07see the, the DC charging because essentially the alternator and the solar provide DC power
08:11to the batteries.
08:12And then the AC loads is like, you know, the air conditioner is, it's not AC like air conditioning.
08:17It's the alt or alternating current, uh, stuff.
08:20Cause essentially like the LEDs is all DC power, the outlets and the AC is AC power.
08:26So you can see all the draw and actually when I get home, they're going to put a tiny little
08:30wire in and there's going to be an orange box right here that shows the like dedicated
08:35wattage of the solar that's being dumped in.
08:36So it's really easy to do.
08:38Um, we can charge right now, it's set up to charge 15 amps, but I can charge it at 30
08:43amps
08:43with a regular RV thing.
08:44But, uh, essentially you can plug it in with a regular, uh, extension cable, like a 110,
08:4915 amp thing.
08:51So it's very easy to find power.
08:53Um, if you need it, I mean, I can't have it today cause we're across the street, but that's
08:57what we have the battery backup for.
08:58So that's about it.
09:00Uh, we have a door, which is actually more important than you would think.
09:03And in the cold, we found out that this door comes in really handy cause we can let this
09:08kind of get cold while everybody's sleeping, close this.
09:11And then while we're driving, as long as we keep the slide open, the front, uh, the front
09:16while we're driving cooks this whole inside.
09:18So we're not even using any of the battery power, which is kind of interesting.
09:23So, uh, but yeah, let's take a look into the bunks.
09:26Uh, this is Sabrina's bunk right here is the singer.
09:29So each bunk has a light.
09:31We've got a max fan and then we have in the corner, I don't think you can see it, but
09:35there's,
09:36uh, units to, you know, plug your phone in and stuff.
09:39Um, these bunks were designed, uh, specifically for us.
09:44So Kevin is our tallest guy.
09:46He's six foot, six foot something.
09:48So all the bunks are six, will fit a six foot two person.
09:51Um, and they're wider than any coach bunk that I've ever been in.
09:55So out of all the buses that I've been in, these bunks are nicer, custom made.
10:00So, um, this is the slide through.
10:02This is the pass through for the driver.
10:05So essentially like he just kind of comes in here and we can lock this open so we can get
10:08the, the breeze of the heat or the air, whatever we need.
10:12And then this is a, the driver bunk.
10:14And essentially you can almost fit like, well, you can't, you can fit two people up here if
10:17you had to.
10:18Um, so that's really nice up here.
10:20And like I said, the driver driver's up here when he's sleeping and then it's empty when
10:24we're driving.
10:25So we're designed for seven people.
10:27Um, obviously my band has four band and three crews.
10:33That's why we, we designed it for this way.
10:35Uh, but yeah, that's basically it.
10:37It's a fairly simple design, but I designed it because I've been touring forever.
10:42And, uh, everything is designed to play a show, drive four to eight hours, play a show,
10:47so on and so forth.
10:48So, uh, it's been, it's been, it's been, it's really cold this time of year.
10:54So, uh, it's been, and it's, it's worked out.
10:57Like I said, this is the first tour.
10:58This is our proof of concept.
11:00Um, and there's a, there's a couple of little, I mean, just really tiny little things that
11:05I'll adjust, uh, when I get home, but it's here nor there really.
11:09It's just my own personal, like, ah, I want to fix this.
11:12Not really fix it, but just add.
11:14But, uh, yeah, it should be, it's good for, I've got a little trash can over there too.
11:19Over in the corner by the fire hydrant.
11:21Um, fire hydrant?
11:22Whatever it is.
11:23The fire extinguisher.
11:25There we go.
11:26A little, uh, you know, Sabrina's been riding on the, uh, shout out to Kuma's Corner.
11:30They got us burgers today.
11:31We have a signature burger.
11:33But yeah, everything's been really good.
11:35Um, and I couldn't be happier with it.
11:37You know, especially being a band that own their own 15 passenger van.
11:42You know, we were driving and we were grinding.
11:44We own, we own the van.
11:46So we were able to make a good amount of money extra because we didn't have rent.
11:51You know, we just had a maintenance bill and we were driving ourselves, but we're getting
11:55a little older.
11:56And after the last winter tour that we did, I was just like, I'm not doing this again.
12:00So we spent a whole year designing this, buying it, having it converted.
12:04And, uh, this is the tester tour.
12:06So essentially once we get home, I've had a great time in it.
12:10Uh, we've survived and it's been very comfortable.
12:13And, uh, if I can do it, you can do it.
12:15And that's the idea is it's, uh, we're designed for, uh, we're, we're going to be the chassis
12:20before you go to bandwagon, essentially.
12:22Uh, we offer a little bit of a different product and it's for growing bands, not necessarily,
12:28uh, you know, bigger bands.
12:30So we're trying to enter the market in the step beneath the big giant diesel moving truck
12:34chassis.
12:35So it's essentially a cruise America designed for bands because I've been in the cruise
12:41Americas and they're just kind of hard to deal with cause they're made for a campground.
12:44So every ounce of this chassis has been designed specifically for a touring band because it's
12:50mine.
12:50And that's what I designed it for.
12:52So, uh, and it'll pull, like I said, we have a small, uh, six by 12, uh, six by 12
12:57double
12:57axle trailer that will be available with it.
13:00Um, if you want to pull a trailer, you have to use that one, um, and rent it from us.
13:04Otherwise I'm gonna put a block in there and you can't pull anything.
13:07So, uh, but yeah, it's my personal vehicle.
13:10Uh, the company that's going to launch next year is called Knight Rider USA.
13:14We also have a smaller unit.
13:16It's going to be a sprinter, a Mercedes sprinter vans of 2023.
13:19I think it's got 20,000 miles on.
13:20It's almost brand new too.
13:22This has got 5,000 miles on it right now.
13:23It's really brand new.
13:25Uh, but that'll be at a different price point.
13:27Uh, and it's got six bunks and a couch in it.
13:30And that's pretty much what's in it cause it's smaller, but it'll be a lot more affordable
13:33than this.
13:34And like I said, this will be under, uh, this will be about a, I think we're doing 599 a
13:38day
13:39and 399 a day for the sprinter, uh, before the bells and whistles and insurance and stuff.
13:43So it's worked out really well for us so far.
13:48And I, like I said, we were, you know, we're in the, you know, the teens of, of cold right
13:53now.
13:53So it's really cold, but, uh, it's been pretty comfortable.
13:56Like, uh, and it's, it's been interesting not having a generator, but, uh, you know,
14:02it's a, it's a new concept to, uh, just have no like AC power generator.
14:07But, uh, like I said, everything runs on battery and it's been running really well.
14:11And, uh, it's been really good.
14:13We've actually been able to find power too.
14:15Not that we need it, but it's just a matter of just like, I'm hooking up every time we
14:18can just because, uh, and essentially it's been, it's been really well.
14:22I think the lowest we've ran it so far was like 45%.
14:25And then it's sincerely, it takes five hours of driving to, to charge it again.
14:30So like we're hit every day at a hundred percent basically.
14:33But yeah, that's, that's pretty much it.
14:35Thank you for checking it out.
14:36Check out seven kingdoms.
14:37We're a power metal band from Florida.
14:40Uh, and we're here in the Vic.
14:41We got a tour of blind guardian and it's a farm.
14:43We're about halfway through.
14:44So go check us out on Facebook, Instagram.
14:46If you're interested in renting next year, uh, some, one of my units, either the Sprinter
14:52or the Knight Rider, check us out on Instagram for right now at Knight Rider USA rentals on
14:58Instagram.
14:58And then sometime in January, our official website will be up.
15:02Uh, I'm working on it right now.
15:04I'm actually waiting to get a bus wash when we go down the West coast so I can take some
15:08cool pictures of it on the West coast.
15:09So, uh, but go check it out.
15:11Uh, you'll be talking directly to me.
15:14This is a very private, I only have one of these units and I'm hoping to have four to
15:18six of them over the next five to 10 years.
15:20Uh, but like I said, just hit me up and it's a very private.
15:24I'm going to be very meticulous with whoever rents it and stuff like that.
15:27And it's going to be, you know, something very close, close to us that we're trying to offer
15:31the industry that I know we use and are benefiting from.
15:34So therefore you will too.
15:36And it'll offer you something a little bit different for the market.
15:39So I'm really excited for it.
15:41And also thanks to, thanks to bus invaders for helping us out and getting the word out.
15:44So we really appreciate it.
15:45Check out seven kingdoms and Knight Rider USA.
